The world of HP belongs to J.K. Rowling however Eviee and I only own the plot. Thank you. Oh! And Amanda (_Ginny_) did the banner and the names for this story. And the luffly Dee did the avvies at the bottom of this page/ Thanks. -huggles-This is Lily and Eviee doing our first joined fic together. Now, let's get started! Just so you know, the following characters will be written by Lily: Luna, Neville, Ginny, Ron, George and Draco.
And these characters are written by Eviee: Dean, Harry, Hermione, Lavender, Angella a.k.a Angie and Cho

Chapter 1:
The War May Be Over, But the Pain is Just Starting
No Way Of Knowing

I forced my eyelids open, with difficulty. They felt heavy and it seemed like they had a mind of their own, and they wanted to stay closed. But, I was wake for the last five minutes. It was just that I hadn't opened them. I just lay there, listening to my thoughts. Wishing so much that they would just shut up.

I whimpered at the sound of someone slaming the door. I was alone in the room and I felt utterly insane. Alone. And nuts.

I finally swung my legs over the side of the bed and stretched. Every bone in my body ached and cuts all over my chest were turning purple. Gross. I looked away from the hidiousness that was myself and pulled out some clean close from my trunk that my Dad had summoned up.

I pulled on my jeans first and winced as the loose denim rubbed against my thigh. I was pulling my stretched cotton top when the door opened and I saw the boy I loved walk in and I screamed.

"Hey Gin- OH MY GAWD! SORRY! SORRY!"

Harry Potter ran out of the room, closing the door behind him and I pulled my shirt down. All I could think was how glad I was that I had slipped on my jeans first. But, he saw the scars on my stomach. I gulped. This was gonna be great fun.

"You can come in now."

Harry walked in, very slowly...

I rolled my eyes and I pulled my hair out from under my shirt colar. "Gin, your stomach-" I cut across him with a snap. "Don't start Harry." He hung his head and I knew exactly what he was thinking. I chose to fight. So Bellatrix got at me with a knife. The memory of pain filled my mind and I winced at the memory.

"Tell me where Potter is." demanded the rough voice of Bellatrix Lestrange.

"Never!" I screamed backing up. Friends stood around me, here and there fighting a deatheater. I glared at Bellatrix and threw a stone at her and while she was distracted I grabbed my wand from the cold ground and shouted, "Stupefi!" The red light bounced off her shield and she hissed at me.

Lestrange pulled a knife from her sleeve and in a flash of silver she brought it down across my stomach. I screamed and she sliced again and again and again. Blood poured from my flat stomach and I screamed again.

I lifted my leg and kicked her stomach and she fell back. Luna Lovegood grabbed me and dragged me away while someone distracted the hell that was Bellatrix Lestrange.

I sighed and thought until Harry coughed. "Down stairs. They're talking about burying the bodies." My breath caught and turned into a choked sob. Harry wrapped an awkward arm around me for comfort.

I rested my head against his shoulder and in that second I felt as though something in my heart had connected and I'm pretty sure he felt it too. I looked up and batted my eyelashes twice. His breath caught and he had to gulp. I reached up and he leaned down and our lips were but inches apart.

I suddenly felt sweaty and I pulled away. No. It wasn't right. He didn't love me. He made that clear when he broke up with me.

I fought the tears and croaked; "C'mon. Let's go downstairs." I started to walk down, I could her him follow me as clearly as if he was right beside. Okay, so noowww my thoughts shut up! "So... how've you been?" My thoughts voiced out the question.

"Uh... Well, can I talk to you, Ginny?"

I stopped in my tracks. "Of course Harry. Is everything alright?"

I could hear him gulping. "Well. Not really. I-I'm still having nightmares." He looked in my eyes and I stared back into his emerald pools.

"Harry, I-I-"

"Please don't say anything to Hermione, Gin. Okay?"

I nodded sadly. I didn't say anything because I knew I would end up telling her. My eyes teared up. I couldn't believe this pain. He hugged me but it was an awkward hug.

The visions of the dead people down stairs filled my mind and I stucked in a sharp breath. Pain rose inside my chest and I gasped.

He seemed to understand and he let me lean against him and half carried-half dragged me down the stairs and through the common room. Blood covered the place and the paintings were pictures of horror and were trying to cure the other paintings that had found some way to fight.

TThis was hell. Hands down.

I closed the door to the Room of Requirement behind me and started walking down the stairs towards the Grand Staircase. The past few days had been one long and stressful haze to me. Harry, Ron, and I had to sneak into Hogwarts, and then there had been that huge battle. That scary moment where I thought Harry was dead and my heart stopped beating was still fresh in my mind. I turned the corner and walked straight into someone, who staggered back a few steps with an indignant, "Oi!"

"Oh. Sorry, Ron," I said tiredly. Rubbing my eyes, I looked up and into a pair of chocolate brown eyes which belonged to my best friend, Ron Weasley.

"Where have you been Hermione?" Ron asked copying my pace as we walked on. "Me and Harry have been worried about you." The tips of his ears grew slightly redder.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Just around," I simply said as we walked down yet another flight of stairs. I still wore the same clothes I had wore during the battle, having nothing else to wear. My cardigan was smudged with dirt and blood, but nothing compared to what the castle looked like. It was a wreckage, pieces of stone everywhere. We didn't meet many people while we walked, in total silence, an awkwardness between us. I couldn't get a grip on my feelings toward Ron. Ever since that kiss in the Room of Requirement, my mind had been a jumble of emotions.

"How's Harry?" I asked, hoping to break the silence between us. I looked sideways at Ron. He towered over my slender form. His red flaming hair had got longer over the course of the year, and he had become broader around the shoulders and chest. He looked almost grown up. No, he did look grown up! I corrected myself.

Ron caught me looking. He turned to face me, his chocolate brown eye's boring into mine. I felt my face grow hot with embarrassment and looked at my feet to hide it.

I saw him smirk out of the corner of my eye. I felt butterflies in my stomach, something that had never happened before. I couldn't be...I believe you're falling for Ron, I told myself as we continued to walk. As we got closer to the Great Hall we passed more and more people, who looked just as messy and tired as we did. Some were crying over their losses, and some looked relieved that they hadn't lost anyone. Their dead loved ones were still lining the walls of the Great Hall. Seeing this, Ron and I fell into another awkward silence.

As we descended the last flight of steps, I saw Harry and Ginny walk out of the Great Hall together. Harry's hair had also grown longer over the year, although it still had a mind of its own. From where I was I couldn't see his scar, which I knew still burned on his forehead. His clothes too were dirty and ripped in places. Ginny looked better, with less dirty clothes. Her red flaming hair, exactly like Ron's, flowed down her back. They both looked up at us as we made our way down the crumbling stairs.

"There you are Hermione," Harry said, relief clear in his voice. Ginny smiled at me from her space next to Harry. After their breakup almost a year ago, both had an awkward relationship with each other. Just like me and Ron, I thought to myself as we both descended the last of the staircase to meet them.

"Where were you Hermione?" Harry asked me, staring into my face like it would give him the answer.

"Just around," I said simply, trying to ignore his stare. I knew he could tell I was lying about something, but sometimes people had to let it drop.

"Well you're here now, that's all that matters," Ginny cut in. She hit Harry on the arm to stop him staring. I sighed in relief and smiled my gratitude at her. If it wasn't for Ginny I probably would have broken down and cried right there.

"What's happening?" I asked Harry, nodding my head towards the open doors leading to the Great Hall. Everyone followed my gaze. A bunch of remaining professors gathered in a bunch, talking in hushed tones, looking at the long row of bodies every few seconds. I watched this for a few minutes before looking at my hands, I couldn't bear seeing all those dead bodies.

"They're planning on burying them," Ginny said, also in a hushed tone. I could feel her gaze on me, so I lifted my head to look at her, the boys were too busy on looking in the hall. I watched at Harry rubbed his eyes for the tenth time since walking out of the hall.

With a quick look at Ginny who gave me a nod I said, "Harry...You all right? Have you been sleeping well?" I know it sounded weird, but someone had to ask.

Harry looked at me, his eyes looked slightly red around the edges. Ron's and Ginny's full attention were on us as Harry replied, "I'm fine."

I opened my mouth to complain, to tell him he didn't look fine and it was all right to have nightmares, but Ginny took hold of my arm and yanked me away from the boys. She had a look of determination on her face as we walked away from them.

"Don't pry Hermione, he's been having nightmares again," She told me, stopping and facing me, her arms folded.

"How do you know?" I asked her, concerned for Harry's sake.

"He told me, just before you guys walked down the stairs."

"Oh," was all I could say. I peeked over to where Ron and Harry stood, deep in conversation. I watched as Ron laughed at something Harry said. My stomach filled with butterflies again, and I looked away from the sight. Ginny was watching me again, i knew it, so I yet again turned to face her stare.

"You like him don't you?" She asked, a smiled playing on her lips.

"No way!" I replied, my face dumbstruck.

"I'm not stupid," Ginny told me, guessing my thoughts.

"I never said you were!" I said turning to walk back towards the boys.

I heard Ginny laugh behind me. "Hermione, I know that look. It's all right with me, if that helps anything." She put her hand on my shoulder. "Come on. You can talk to him later. But now we have to focus on more important things, like the castle and the dead." Her voice was somber again. Together, we walked back towards Harry and Ron, steeling ourselves for a hard day.

Love it so far! Great characterization, the various POVS on the situation and the war are really well done. One thing that could make this even better was if you made the posts a bit longer - sometimes I feel like before you have the time to really delve into one character you've already moved onto the next. But apart from that, it's absolutely brilliant *goes off to subscribe*

Chapter 5
A Rueful Kiss

I stared at her.

Just stared. Luna blinked up at me, obviously shocked. I couldn't understand why. We were on and off... kinda. I went scarlett all the same, and looked at our audience, and my ears went crimson. Dean looked furious. ...But why would he be furious? He had no reason at all. I felt his eyes glare holes into my back but I just looked at Luna.

It didn't feel right.

How could not? I'd pictured this a million times, but the boys in my dorm promised that I would feel like melting when I kissed the girl I loved. I frowned. "N-Neville?" Luna whispered, her eyes wide with confusion. She looked like a little girl. She looked a little panicked at Dean and I knew that Dean wasn't a one man audience. I turned.

Hannah Abbott. Her eyes were wider than poor Luna.

Her face was bloody. Her lips were swollen and her nose was ever so slightly crooked. I winced when I remembered how after I executed Nagini, she ran over to me and ripped her cloak so that she could mop up quickly the blood. I could even remember how her hair had brushed my cheek. Her eyes went hazy and she ran off, crying. Luna looked horrified. I felt horrorfied.

When minutes went by (they seemed like days) and Luna finally said, "Oh Neville." I looked at her and she smiled. I suddenly realized that Dean had left. I would talk to him later. Luna smiled again. "Neville...our we-?" She frowned.

"I guess."

Luna grinned and hugged me but when she pulled away I thought I caught the look of reluctancy. I smiled awkwardly. She brought her lips to mine and I thought I felt something. Then...nothing. Nothing. I grimaced for I split second when we pulled apart. Luna smiled, showing teeth. I mentally hit myself. She was so happy. I love her. Why am I not?

"Do you want to go Wrackspurk hunting?" Luna asked, pulling out two specta-specks.

"Sure." And we walked off, arm-in-arm. Her going on about putting Wrackspurt Away Spray on and wishing she hadn't.

Chapter 6:
A Wrong Thought

I turned the shower off, frustration bubbling over.

Stupid thing, no hot water left. Glaring at the shower, I pulled my underwear up, forgetting to dry off first, so I was soaking them in the process. I swore under my breath. I hadn't bothered bringing clothes, just
my underwear, a bathrobe and a towel. What girl wouldn't want to see my bare chest? I wrapped the towel around my middle just for effect. Chuckling darkly to myself, I abandoned my bathrobe and started down the corridor in my bare feet.

A cluster of girls past me, Romilda Vane included, giggled uncontrollably. A smirk formed on my lips, and my walk turned into a strut. One of the girl's took a sharp intake of breath and stuttered, “H-Hello Dr-Aco?” I raised my eyebrows, and ran a hand through my pale sopping wet hair, droplets flying over to them. Romilda moved away from the group and tried to walk like a model. She tried to look dark, but with her smudged eye-liner and mascara, she resembled some sad raccoon who the other raccoons refused to mate with.

“Hell-ooo Draco.” I arched an eyebrow. “Romilda,” I gave her a jerk of my handsome head to acknowledge her. She stopped in her tracks at the lack of tone in my voice. I continued down the corridor and felt fury fill me as my mother ran up to me, “Draccciess!” I rolled my eyes. She stopped in her tracks and looked down at the towel wrapped around my waist.

“Draco Malfoy, you know better than to go around in the nude.”

I glared holes at her (not exactly at her face, I would be murdered if I did that, no, at her stupidly big hair). “I'm not really naked,” I hissed through my teeth, shooting a glare at Dean Thomas who was snorting back laughter. “I'm wearing underwear underneath,” My mother through back her head and let out a very girly-ish giggle and pinched my cheeks. “N'aww...You silly ickle hormone crazed teen!”

The copper headed blood traitor and the Mudblood passed by. “...And then
I kissed him!”... “Gin, That's great!” But then they stopped short when they heard my mum. Hermione shoved her knuckles into her mouth to stop from laughing. Ginny just let out a laugh that sounded like music. I blushed furiously. I wished she hadn't seen that. I wished that the ground would open up right there and then and swallow me. I wished- Wait! Why did I care if the blood traitor saw me? Frowning I jerked away from my mother's grasp and stalked off to the Slytherin common room.

When I entered the first thing I heard was; “Dracykins!!” I sniffed the air in discust and found that Pansy Parkinson was trying to kiss me. She pulled my neck down and pushed her lips to mine. She slipped her tongue in and tried to get me to kiss her back. I was tempted to spit in her mouth but decided that it was safest just to push her away. She frowned for a split second but smiled and leaned on my shoulder.

She giggled and looked down at the towel. I snorted. She was so stupid. Astoria Greengrass, a fifth year Slytherin, one of the only to come back after the war decended down the stairs to the dorms. She smiled flirtaously at me and plonked down in one of the green sofas with a book. I grinned at her and looked at the cow now playing with a hair on my chest and thought of how she said she came back because she wanted to see her one true love, Dracykins. I scowled at the air and pulled away from her. She let out a shocked moan and went off to sulk on the hardest couch.

I got dressed, the ~~pretty~~ blood traitors face in my mind.

When I got back down, I sat down beside Astoria. She smiled shyly up at me from her book. I frowned briefly and then flashed a smile at her. She was the most un-Slytherin Slytherin I've ever met. “So...How's it, Tori?” I asked, not looking at the cow sulking in the corner. Tori looked up at me, pink colouring her cheeks. “My sister was killed...” She gulped. A wrapped an arm around her in comfort. “Sorry.” “'S okay.” I smiled awkwardly. She went back to her book and I stared at the green flames in the mantle piece. The redheaded girl smiled at me in my mind.

I cursed myself silently for thinking that and stared straight at the cackling flames.

First things first. Im really really really really really sorry for the late post of my chapter. But because i love you guys so much im posting two chapters

The reason i've not been posting is because i've just started college...kinda getting used to it all and such. Good News; Great Friends and Lushh funny moments

Bad News; Early morning's, boring bus joruney's etc etc

Anyway I'd like to dedicate this chapter to all our reader's, And without further ado here we go

Mistakes.

The corridors were deserted and I didn't see anyone anywhere. Not that I was surprised; the Professors had called everyone to the Great Hall for something. I had slipped out to try and find him. I had noticed Harry hadn't been in the hall and that meant he must be with her! Before I could go any farther in my
thoughts, I saw him. He was strolling towards me - and he was alone! Smiling, I ran the few steps between us and threw myself into his arms. I felt him stumble as he tried to balance me.

"C-Cho!" He managed to gasp as I hugged him. Finally, I let go to look at him, smiling, but without letting go of his hands.

Before I could do or say anything else, I saw her walk around the corner with a smile on her face. Ginny Weasley. Girlfriend to Harry Potter. Well I would put a stop to that. after all, he loved me, didn't he, and not her! Without a second thought I grabbed hold of Harry's face and kissed him. On the mouth. Right in front of Ginny.

I could feel Harry struggling under the kiss, trying to break free. I held on but when I finally let go he jumped a mile from me. I didn't care. He'd soon realize he loved me and not her. Peeking over at Ginny I saw she had her wand raised, at me! I stepped back a little, her face bore pure anger - directed
at me Uh oh... I looked at Harry, who had surprise and horror playing on his face, looking at Ginny also.

I knew i was going to be hexed. People had warned me not to mess with Ginny Weasley. I had ignored them, and now i was going to pay the price. I closed my eyes and waited. But the impact never came. Opening my eyes i saw Harry take hold of Ginny and turned her so her back was to me. I watched him stare into her eyes. There was such love there in his eyes, and it stung. What had I done? They were sure to fight about me.

There was no way to deny Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley were in love.

I wish i could take back the kiss, the thoughts. I wish i had never fallen for Harry but he had seemed such the gentleman after Cedric had died. Always willing to help others before himself, and I had slowly fallen for him. I didn't want to turn into some girl - like Lavender Brown, who constantly tried to
steal other people's boyfriends. I stepped back wishing the ground would swallow me up.

"The-the Professor's want everyone in the Great Hall" I stammered, continuously backing away. They didn't respond to me or each other. I didn't care. I turned and fled, I didn't want to be there when their voices raised. I blame myself.

The Beginning.

"B4"

I watched as my chess piece moved forward to knock Seamus's off the board. I laughed triumphantly. I was winning. People, mostly spectators, cheered all around us. The atmosphere around the school had lifted the past few weeks, now supporting happiness like in the old days.

Everyone were lingering all around the Great Hall. Some cheering our game, some talking, some kissing etc. We were all waiting for something, the reason we were all called into the Great Hall instead of enjoying the beautiful weather and the freedom of not having to fear the darkest wizard in the world. Well,
the darkest wizard in England, anyway.

Looking over across the hall I saw the clustered Professor's huddled together, talking in low voices. They seemed to be arguing about something. Maybe what they were going to tell us. I shrugged and directed my eyes around the hall again. My eyes fell on a girl as she ran through the hall door's. I recognized her as Cho Chang. She looked like she had been running, and looked a bit upset. Before I could act upon my thoughts of seeing what was wrong, I was interrupted by cheering all around me. I whipped my head round to see one of my knights being dragged off the board in piece's. Damn!

"Not as good at this as you thought, are you?" Seamus taunted me as I scanned the board for my next move. I finally moved my king after a few minutes. Now it was war between us.

I looked back over to where i had seen Cho, she had disappeared and in her place stood the newly reunited couple, Ginny and Harry. They were wrapped up in each other's arms, I noticed. I looked away in...sadness? anger? I really didn't know what to think about my ex girlfriend now dating the famous Harry Potter.

Happy? I sighed.

Peeking down at the nearly finished chess game for like the tenth time in a minute I noticed a mistake Seamus had made in a move of his. Didn't he notice? Smiling i barked my command and watched my piece take out his. My smile widened at his groan.

"Ladies and Gentleman--!" A voice suddenly boomed stopping mine and Seamus's chess game, and everything else anyone had been doing a second before. I faced the now speaking Professor McGonagall. I saw the Professors line up behind her. "Firstly, I'd like to announce we will be opening the school again next year, for all those who would have finished their seventh year this year and would like to come back again to retake it please see me later." She paused as she scanned the room. She didn't have the same affect on the students that Professor Dumbledore had possessed, but she still held people's attention.

"But what I have called you all here today to talk about is.." She continued still scanning the hall for any wrong doers. "...That after much of a discussion from all of your Professor's here, we have decided to hold a Wizard Game's here this summer. All those who reach the age limit may enter. If you
would like to enter your name for any other the games then please see me after." She stopped again, waiting for the raised chatter to die down a little, "The list of the games which will be held will shortly be posted in the common rooms," She added last before stepping down.

Instantly the noise in the hall raised to a high climax. My chess game was abandoned as i excitedly started to talk to Seamus about which game i would possibly enter. It was going to be so exciting. I peeked around the hall again, noticing Draco talking and laughing with some girl, whom I knew as Astoria. I stared for a few second's before moving on. Not to far away from them stood Harry Potter and his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ginny Weasley also stood holding Harry's hand.

Jumping up from my seat I pushed my way through the mass of student's until I was standing next to them.

"Can you believe this?" I asked excitedly. "This is going to be so fun!" I declared smiling at them all. I heard Ginny giggle at me as i ranted on, and I smiled at her.

"You guys should enter. I bet you'd win hands down!" I carried on much to their amusement. Pausing for breath I looked around at them all, still smiling. I watched as they turned to look at each other, silently talking. Finally Ron shrugged and answered for them.

"Sure why not?" he said, much to my delight.

I've just been busy with getting ready for holidays and everything.

I can't believe I haven't read much of this fic!
But I've read it all now, and I loved it, so bloody much! It's beautiful the way it's written, and I was almost scared for Cho when she kissed Harry ~~but then I remembered that I don't like her, hehe.~~

Hope you update it soon, it's a fantastic fic!
