It was the middle of the year, in the newly opened and magical international school, and a group of picked students were offered the chance - the chance of a lifetime, mind I add - to go to Egypt to study for a semester. The students agree to the "study abroad" and were immediately packed and whisked away to Egypt.
They arrived in the newly renovated town - a town that was built on the ancient city of Hamunpatra, or, as you may know it, the city of the Dead. The students are psyched to get started exploring the tombs, and they instantly get to work.
However, during a sandstorm, a tomb was uncovered. The Tomb of Anubis. People thought Anubis was a god, but in fact, they didn’t know he actually walked on the earth, once, many thousands of years before.
The group of students eagerly enter the tomb, excited that they found what they thought was a tomb that never existed, they set to work, exploring the many rooms of the maze of the tomb.
They soon find, however, a book of hieroglyphics, which fortunately, one of the students could translate. What did the student translate? Why, "The Book of the Dead".
The students go back to the inn they were staying at, talking about what happened that day, vowing they wouldn’t tell anyone what they found unless they were certain it was the God’s tomb. They all agreed happily, then continued their conversation.
But for the next few days, odd things were happening. The students find out that they can’t use magic anymore, and horrible things kept happening to the locals. In a desperate attempt to find out what was happening, one of the students did some research, and came up with a theory. The Ten Plagues of Egypt were happening all over again, and there was another ancient book that was connected with "The Book of the Dead" called, "The Book of the Living," They find out that the Book of the Dead gives the dead life, while the Book of the Living takes life away.
Now, the students must figure how to stop the Ten Plagues and the killings, and figure out how to get their hands on the Book of the Living, to try and save all of Egypt.

She noticed him and Tess talking quietly, which was strange because they were throwing insults at each other before. She had felt sorry for Jaeke when he had told them about his family, as she knew what family problems were like. Her whole family was one big problem, one which she did not want anything to do with.

Teresa wiped the tears of her eyes, closed them and sighed so she could calm down a bit. She walked back to the girls with a little smile on her lips. 'So what happened?' she asked them. Her voice was a little scratchy but she wasn't waiting for anything else. She looked at Jaeke from the corner of her eye and shook her head a little. Whatever she tried to do wouldn't work. There had to be something that made him actually care for people, but the problem was what.

Teresa shrugged. 'Not really' she answered. 'You guys can go together, I can go with anyone' She gave them another smile. Though it would be good to go with that stupid guy just to try again she thought. If he thought she was going to give up and let him do whatever he wanted, then Jaeke was completly wrong because she was going to do whatever she could to change him, even if she had to sacrifice her happiness. But after all, if she didn't do that then everyone would be miserable and that would make her miserable too. Your brain doesn't stop working for one second, does it Tess? a little voice echoed in her mind.

Kamilah was seriously annoyed and irritated. Jaeke was getting to her last wick, with all his little outbursts. He was in no better or worse position than she. How did he really know he was Pharoh anyway? She had as much a chance of being royalty as he did in reality. Her money was just as old and revered as his. What then made him believe that he had all this power. She snorted to herself. To think of him swanning around here imperiously when at him he's a disgrace to his family, an embarassment to his father. She flicked her hair impatiently. She wished things would get a move on. The sooner they started, the sooner she could prove her point. That would shut Jaeke up.
"I'll partner with you Seth if that's alright. The only person who'd go with the Pharoh," she couldn't help the sarcasm, "would have to be deaf dumb and blind to put up with him."
She turned to Teresa.
"Good slap, if you hadn't have done it, I would. It will have hurt his pride to be slapped so rudely by some one so much lower than him."

Jaeke made a face at her. "Well I'm waiting for YOU," he mocked her, before standing there, stubbornly. "Look. I'm not moving the camals. They'll.. spit at me. Stupid good-for-nothing.." Jaeke trailed off, as he looked at the camals in disgust, before shaking his head. "So come over here, get on a stupid camal, and we'll leave already!" He sighed, before mumbling to the camal, then making some sort of whistling noise, before the camal bent it's front legs and kneeled down, letting Jaeke climb on top. He sat there, dropping the other ropes to the other camals and held his own, before saying impatiently, "Whoever doesn't have a partner, just come on here already. Sheesh. You guys are taking forever."

She threw withering glance in Teresa's direction. What was with people these days and not knowing their place. It really grated on her nerves, didn't they know who she was.
