At his lunch break, Mason made his way down to the new food court again. It was pretty crowded, especially at this time of day. Which was a good sign. He was pretty excited that the project was a huge success.
After getting himself a salad and some fettuccine, Mason looked around for an empty table... with little luck. Maybe they should have added more tables... But Mason spotted someone possibly a bit younger than him sitting alone at a table, so he decided to be friendly. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked with a small smile.
Krys had been tucking in to the chicken and suddenly realised exactly how hungry he was when he heard a voice. He glanced up, leaving his fork hovering in midair, and nodded. "Of course, sit down." he said with a smile. He ate the food on his fork and rested it on his plate. "I'm Kryspin." He held his hand out to shake - just because it was lunch time didn't mean he was taking a break from manners. Hehe.
He took a drink of pumpkin juice and glanced quickly around the room. "Have ye eaten in here before? It's kinda brilliant isn't it?" he asked with a grin as he put his cup back down. He had been rather surprised at its appearance actually - there were plenty of other places to eat. But this was terribly convenient... and the food was divine. Nom.

Krys grinned at the man as he sat down, "No problem." he said. It was nice to have company, even of you'd never met them before. Besides, Krys hardly knew anyone here yet so... "Great te meet ye to, Mason." Krys put his fork on his plate and shook the mans hand.
Oh! "Well ye did a brilliant job, mate!" he smiled massively and picked up his fork again, spearing a bit of food on his fork and eating it. "Food's brilliant too." he added after swallowing his mouthful. "I'm down on MLE, we don't get te do stuff like this." he said, waving his fork round at the food court.

Emily took a good measured mouthful of the stuff and chewed. Besides, she wasn't all that interested in the process of who was going to dry off Simon's jacket and what not. Those two could sort that out without her.
Halfway through what she'd taken, she offered it to Kyke. "Swap withya too?" she asked "That turkey stuff looks good". Cause they were all friends here. And the more food Emily had the better.
How were things on level two? They were.. interesting enough. With all the changes and the whole non-training thing was good. "Mmm things are going well," she mused, smirking slightly as she wondered whether Simon had told Kyle that she was his LEADER. Yeah that's right LEADER. Emily Browne was officially recognised as a leader, and rightfully so. "How about you? ... Uuhh... What do you do exactly?"

"I haven't done much scribing yet but i think as soon as things really get going i'll probably be following the minister around like a little dog after its master...things got off to a slow start because no one went to the orientation meeting its mandatory and i think five people showed including myself"
Simon soon found himself the owner of half of Emily's sandwich as the woman swapped their sandwiches without a second thought once he agreed to it. Oh well, at least she hadn't stolen it without his permission. And then his back dry as Kyle cast the drying spell on it and his coat that resided behind him now. That was an improvement for sure. "Yes...much. Thanks again," he replied returning her smile with one of his own.
Friends right....just friends.
In his distraction with it, it seemed he hadn't even noticed that his friend had asked them both about how work was on level 2. How had that happened? Emily answered in both their steads and Simon simply nodded to show agreement to the older auror's words as he took a bite from his new sandwich. When the question was turned back to Kyle, he listened as she described her job, the young man remembering when she had first mentioned getting it. She had been quite nervous but she seemed to be alright about it now. Even if the hand through her hair was anything of a clue.
Okay Simon...dont pay so much attention to her...k?
Taking a sip from his water, the YATI brought himself back."Well that's good to hear," Simon replied to show he was still paying attention and held interest in the conversation. And it wasn't as if it was a lie...he was glad to here it.
Auruoa walked into the seating area of the Ministry of Magic Food Court while carrying one of the Scottish Silver Ferns her boss asked her to place here. She looked around for a nice spot to place it. She found a pedestal in a near by corner and walked over to it. She placed the fern onto the pedestal and walked back out of the Ministry of Magic Food Court and off to work once again.
Sophie was wondering what the whole hype about the new food court in the ministry was about. Usually, the brunette was so preoccupied with paperwork to manage the correspondence between her level and the Minister's office, which meant that she usually bagged her lunch. Today she had been sure to get all of her work done before her lunch break so she could test the hype herself.
As she walked into the food court, she looked around for a seat to get her self situated. She would get back up to grab food in a moment, but she was a particular woman with a plan. After all, she had said that she was going to sit first and there was no deviation to that plan in her eyes. So she sat at a corner table and put her bag down.

Derek was having a really rough day today. Not only was he having trouble in understanding that really weird chemical reaction the piece of cloth was showing, but his co-workers decided to take the day to talk to him about... nonsense.
That gave him a headache and he wanted to just go home and leave everything behind him. Unfortunately, he couldn't. So he decided to go down to the new place to grab something to eat or whatever. Anything to get away from those loonies.
Oh, it was apparently lunch time. Or... was it? Derek had no idea. He didn't care either. He grabbed a tuna sandwich and some orange juice and headed to find an empty place to sit.
Which was almost impossible now, since it seemed like the WHOLE MINISTRY was having lunch now. Argh. People. Too. Many. People. Derek didn't like that.
He wandered around the seating area, trying to find a less strange looking person for him to sit with. It was just when he saw a relatively young man spitting coffee all over. Well, he would have to do.
"Excuse me, do you mind?" Derek asked in a low tone, gesturing to the empty chair with his head.

With a rather fresh of breath air outside his cubicle area, Elmo Claus made his way to the Ministry Food Court in order to try out the foods in store for that free drink for food purchase coupon. He would always complain about food. His taste buds were a lot more sensitive than the usual people, perhaps the result of his long time vegetarian inclination. He wouldn't choose to be a vegetarian himself if not for his ex-girlfriend. Though he still missed the girl, he wouldn't risk a life with her ever again. One, because he should be the one who's going to cheat, not her.
After taking on his order, he went on to a place where there sat a brunette lady. She's quite a few years older than Elmo but he was not here to court somebody but to eat, just to eat and probably, have a nice little chat with someone older than him by age, as well as by Ministry employment. Before taking the empty seat, the Ministry man went to position himself where the lady could see him fully, "Hi there Madam, can I take this seat?"

Dimitri kept munching his sandwich. Ham and cheese was his favorite one, though actually he wasn't picky with food, except to peanut because he was allergic into. If he was completely hungry he could eat anything. Maybe no one believed that he was a crazy omnivore if they noticed his skinny build. That's his big problem: hardly gained much weight even he ate so much.
Pfffft..
Comparing to Gary, his sister's boyfriend, maybe he was too skinny.
Oooops, he forgot that there was another person who was sitting with him in this table. Silly, Dima :headsmack: He kept distracting himself with food so he didn't pay attention to around. The 20-year-old-skinny guy paid attention to his talk. Meh, seemed like this guy was kinda frustrating with his job and didn't look fun. Getting stress with work, maybe? That's why at first Dimitri didn't want to work in Ministry, because he hated paperworks and boring stuffs. He enjoyed travelling and outdoor activity so much. But his department sounded a bit fun than others. Except that their first task was so horrible.
He took a sip of his coffee. "Agreed, and also a good place to escape from crazy paperworks and etc." He chuckled. So, if he got bored and wanted something to distract himself from work he didn't need to escape to Muggle area of London, because it was risky and a bit far too. And another reason is Dimitri didn't have much poundsterling in his pocket. "Well, I'm in Level 5. International Cooperation." he answered. "And.. you are?"

This guy seemed pretty friendly. Which was good, because Mason didn't really have many friends. He had his coworkers, but he just usually talked about work-related stuff with them. And now most of his time was spent with Rose, so he couldn't really complain.
Mason grinned at the compliment. "Thanks. I'm glad it's such a big hit." A lot of people seemed to like it. Which made sense, now that they didn't have to bring their own food or go across the street to get food. This was convenient. Mason took a bite of his fettuccine and nodded. "It is, isn't it?" he said after swallowing. Oh, he was an MLE guy. "That's got to be exciting though, right? Law stuff?" Maintenance was pretty boring most of the time. Besides the food court project, of course.

Eh? Derek was surprised at himself for being so sociable right now. Maybe that cloth had some Essence of Insanity on it as well... he would have to check on that when he was back at his desk.

Sophie pulled a small piece of paperwork out of her bag and went to work adding her signature to the proper places. As much as she wanted to have a lunch away from her work it was just not possible. She had gotten several notices from the Minister's office when she had arrived at her cubicle that morning. Which meant that her lunch, which would no doubt be lovely regardless, had a little bit of paperwork.
Her quill was skirting across the parchment when she heard a voice beckon her away from her work. The brunette lifted her head up from the paper she saw a younger man standing in front of her. He gestured toward the chair and Sophie nodded yes to his request, "Of course you can. Take a seat. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."

Dimitri had finished with his sandwich, but He still felt hungry. He took a sip of his coffee first then continued his lunch with mashed potato. Hope this guy didn't think that he was greedy or something. Maybe not. Though he ate so much things that he could but he still looked skinny Seemed like he suffered a disorder or something.
Oh, Accidents and Catastrophes? That sounded cool. He knew that most of them worked with Experimental charms and potions and any magical things. Interesting. Dimitri had finished with his sandwich, but He still felt hungry. He took a sip of his coffee first then continued his lunch with mashed potato. Hope this guy didn't think that he was greedy or something. Maybe not. Though he ate so much things that he could but he still looked skinny Seemed like he suffered a disorder or something.
Oh, Accidents and Catastrophes? That sounded cool. He knew that most of them worked with Experimental charms and potions and any magical things. Interesting. Wow, this dude finished his sandwich REALLY fast! He must be really hungry... Derek took another bite of his own sandwich as he eyed the other guy eating. He seemed like an alright person, indeed. Apart from all of this hunger...
No wonder why he was so skinny... his metabolism was extremely fast and there was no doubts about this. "Enjoying the food, are you?" He said jokingly while smirking.
Derek nodded after releasing his hand from the handshake. "Immigration officer." He repeated Dimitri's words. "That's nice. How long have you been working in this area?" He asked casually before drinking more orange juice.
"I do, yeah." Surprisingly, his irritation towards his co-workers was fading away already. Maybe it had all been because he was hungry. "Well, I've been working with Potions since before I graduated from Hogwarts..." He started after swallowing another piece of tuna sandwich. "I used to be a Freelance Potioneer. I've just started working here." The money was way better, no doubt, and the way he had to almost make experiments every single day made him like this job. Even though he had to deal with people all day long and whatnot.

Sometimes he thought that he was lucky; eventhough he could eat more but it didn't affect his weight. He still looked skinny, maybe too skinny for a 20-year old guy who was 5'11" in height but only 120 lbs in weight. "Yeah, I admit that the food in this foodcourt was so delicious." said him, then he sipped his coffee again. "Lucky if we have foodcourt here. So we don't need to go out to the muggle area anymore and exchange our galleons become pounds." He chuckled. That's only one thing that Dimitri didn't like when he trapped at muggle area.
"I'm new here, actually." he replied then continued eating his potatoes. "I just joined last year, after 2 years I left England for travelling all around the world." Huft, that's one thing that he loved so much! Being single, independent and travelling all around the world. Just for 2 years, he could visit so many countries and stepped his feet in all continents except Africa. Well, he should be there one day. And to start travelling again, he need MONEY! That's why he decided to work in Ministry: to gain some money and save it for travelling again.

Derek had to agree with this guy. He nodded his head, taking anooother more bite of his tuna sandwich. Going to the muggle streets above the Ministry just to eat when you were hungry wouldn't probably be a good thing. "That's true." See, Derek was in a talkative mood right now. Yes, that is a talkative Derek right there.
Oh? Dimitri had traveled around the world already? He didn't seem too old. Lucky person, he was. "Nice. What did you do around the world exactly?" His curiosity got the best of him this time. Dimitri sounded like he liked this traveling around thing. Good for him. Derek wouldn't appreciate it all that much, though. "Are you settled down here now then?" Hm... maybe not, since the dude said he worked for the International Cooperation Department, so he might travel a lot still. Or not. Derek really had no idea.
Potions Passion... Derek smirked. Yeah, he had that. "I do, yeah." Some people called it obsession, but he disagreed. Dimitri here got it just right. Potions was his passion. There was nothing else that could put Derek in a good mood but Potions. It was amazing. "Brilliant sutff, yeah." He added, nodding again, the smirk still playing on his lips.
Grandfather in Russia? Wow, this Dimitri really got some background. "Who is this grandfather of yours?" Maybe he had heard of him before? The man could be a famous potioneer or something? "What's his name?" Had he discovered anything new and important??

Sophie pulled a small piece of paperwork out of her bag and went to work adding her signature to the proper places. As much as she wanted to have a lunch away from her work it was just not possible. She had gotten several notices from the Minister's office when she had arrived at her cubicle that morning. Which meant that her lunch, which would no doubt be lovely regardless, had a little bit of paperwork.
Her quill was skirting across the parchment when she heard a voice beckon her away from her work. The brunette lifted her head up from the paper she saw a younger man standing in front of her. He gestured toward the chair and Sophie nodded yes to his request, "Of course you can. Take a seat. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."
Elmo smiled as he saw the nod of approval of the lady for him to take the seat. "Elmo Claus, a Ministry Advisor" he said with conviction.
He moved opposite the woman, one chair away so as to give space to her paperworks. "At the foodcourt? Don't you just wanna enjoy the food?" And then, he noticed she still has no food ordered. "Take this," Clausee moved his plate towards the woman. He wouldn't let her say no to him.
Swiftly, he made a retreating step heading to the ordering station.
Dart looked around as though he had not just heard he's stomach make yet another noise. Of course it wasn't he's stomach doing that and if anyone dared ask about it, they would be in trouble, as nobody and that meant nobody embarrassed the Le king.
Ignoring the continuous growlings, Dartanian continued to walk over to the seating area. In he's hands was a plate filled with plenty of food, that he needed in order to keep he's muscles big. The Frenchie sat down at an empty table, looking for any sign of he's Queen Amy. She was nowhere to be seen but that was alright as she had told him she would be a few minutes late after all.
After one more look around the food court, Dart picked up he's grilled chicken wrap and began munching away. He was too hungry to wait much longer.

Well, he would have raised the other hand, too, but he still held the plate with the cherry pie. At the moment, he wouldn't let go of it for absolutely nothing in the world.
When she agreed to sit down, he followed her to the seating area and sat down on a blue chair ahead of her, only to avoid any awkwardness that would have surely ruined their good mood if he chose to sit next to her. It took only a quick bite to know that the pie was beyond delicious. "OhmyGodit'ssogood," he mumbled more to himself, pretty much feeling like he was in his own bubble for a moment, trapped in there with only that piece of pie. "Are you sure you don't want to try it?" She'd better make up her mind, because that was the last time he was offering. It was too good to insist on sharing.
Before answering Rose's question, he took another bite, considerably bigger than the first one. Well, at least he was glad his mother insisted on not speaking while chewing, so he'd never do that. "You know me... the usual boring routine." Which was true. Besides, he didn't feel like sharing other things. Like the way he radiated sunshine and rainbows everywhere around him for a very good reason. "How about you?"
"You didn't have to. You looked like I was making the biggest mistake in the world for not wanting to try that pie." Rose shrugged, still looking down at her rather gigantic bowl of ice-cream. HUH. How was she going to finish this? It was amazing.. Ice-cream was amazing but.. Anyway, she was going to eat as much as she could. And, she couldn't help but giggle at Konrad. He really seemed to be enjoying that cherry pie. Hm. Maybe it was really good and if Rose tried it.. she might end up liking it but she had a huge bowl of ice-cream to eat. "No, thanks. I'll try it the next time I'm here." She took another bite of her ice-cream, smiling just a little. It was good.
"Things are good. Great, even." Rose looked down at her ice-cream, not wanting him to see the slight flush on her face. She didn't go into details though. Anyway.. back to him. "So, nothing interesting has happened recently?" That was kind of hard to believe.

As for him... He took another bite while he thought of anything that might be worth telling. "Well, this happened," he said, showing Rose three crimson scratches on the back of his left hand, "this morning," he grinned. "But I wouldn't call that interesting." See? Nothing interesting ever happened to him.
Rose raised an eyebrow. Amuse her? Heh. "I wasn't laughing at you.. it's just.. you seem to really enjoy your cherry pie. That's.. good." Although, his expression was rather funny. Anyway.. "Well, I'll definitely try it the next time I'm here and I hope it's as good as you say it is." Rose smiled before taking another large bite of ice-cream.
Huh. That's what she'd been afraid of. Maybe, he'd noticed her flushed cheeks.. UGH. Why did she keep blushing? WHY!? "Things are just.. amazing at present." That's all. She wasn't going to say anything more. She concentrated on her ice-cream, hoping he'd wouldn't ask any more questions.. at least, questions she didn't want to answer.
Oh? Rose stared at the back of his hand for a moment before her eyes went back to his face. "Your cat?" Obviously. That's why she didn't like cats much. They were.. not as friendly as dogs. "Does it hurt?" She asked, cringing slightly. The scratches looked rather bad.
