Muggle Convenience Store

Centered on a street that seems to be flooded with Muggles making their way to the nearest underground train station is a shop that many frequent, but none stay for long. The convenience store is a small store that stocks all the snacks you could possibly need and then some. The store also stocks groceries, toiletries, a myriad of drinks, magazines and other light Muggle reading material.

Not far from the register is a small set-up that is self serve. You can make a small cup of coffee, fix up a sandwich/hot dog, or a slurpee if you know how. Not only should you be on your best behavior while walking amongst the Muggles, but you shouldn't forget to PAY for your items before walking out. Muggles have these nifty machines, so they'll KNOW if you don't.

August need to Buy diapers,pull ups and Pick out a few things the Twins need for snack time.She also need a pro wrestling&Fintness magazines for reading time.She also forgot the Milk and Oeros She check out of the store and payed and Went to the door and walked out.

There was no milk in the fridge.

There was no bread in the bread bin. And even though she was CONVINCED she'd bought bread the day before, it was a completely inconceivable thought that she'd put it somewhere else.

Gliding through a group of tourists and losing the ethereal look by having to shove one of them out of the way, Alyss pushed open the door to the small shop that was going to be the end to her distress. Hopefully. Pushing back a handful of unkempt hair, she began to move down the fridge isle, glancing slightly wistfully at all the nice looking cheeses that she totally couldn't afford to buy, and eventually reaching the part with the... The...

The part without any semi-skimmed milk. What? Rubbing a stressed hand over her now creased face, she looked at the blue and red topped milk bottles in between a gap in her fingers. WHHYY? Life just chose to be unfair. Especially to people like her.

People like her who just happened to have break-downs over milk.

A convenience store, huh? Well, it was quite convenient. Central to passer-bys and work-goers. So, Mason decided to check it out. Maybe get a cup of coffee or pick up a muggle gossip tabloid. Hmm. Walking into the store, he found it near empty. He wandered his way through the store and saw all the muggle drinks... The muggle snacks... The muggle celebrities on the magazines.... Books. Mason picked up a book and read the back cover for about two seconds before setting it back down. He wasn't much of a reader.

However, he did enjoy coffee. And, getting a feeling that the man at the counter was getting suspicious, he decided to get some. He was quite familiar with muggle coffee machines as well from working in a bakery cafe thingy for three years. Mason grabbed himself a cup and began to work the machine.

Meh. Why did dogs have to eat so much food? There were plenty of things he could feed the dog, but it wasn't really smart to give human food to ANY animal.

Nevertheless, Emery made his way through crowds of people after work had finished and his day was over. Weaving his way inconspicuously through the crowd, Rhodey kept a rather low profile as he was so use to doing. Although, on occasion he would have swore that someone was following him. But hey- that's part of the downside of having the job that he did. It made him overly paranoid all of the time.

He ran a finger through his blond hair before turning around just to make sure that there really was no one there. Sure, people glanced at him as he did, but no one looked.. out of place. So, the man continued on, eventually arriving at some sort of convenience store that he barely ever visited.

Entering the store, the man held his head high and glanced around the small room before deciding it was safe enough to move forward. He moved toward the dog food isle, quickly finding the cheapest brand he could and decided it wouldn't quite hurt to get a few treats for the german shorthaired pointer.

But of course, he refused to leave without getting himself a little something. So, the man headed towards fridge isle, quickly finding the row of snapples. As he opened up the door and reached in for a lemon flavored one, his eyes wandered towards a girl standing just a little ways away. She.. didn't appear to be happy. Not one bit.

"Uh.. Miss?" he called out to her, "Everything alright?" the Australian inquired curiously.

Snapping her head up at the sound of a man's voice, Alyss rolled her dark brown eyes at him and responded testily, "Um, aside from the fact that this is a rubbish shop and it means my dog wont be able to have milk with his food, no." Ehehe. Great Danes. Looking back toward the shelf however, she stared solidly at the blue topped milk, desperately trying to make it into a yellow-y-er shade, and dropped her hands into the pockets of her skirt.

Waaait a second. He'd asked her if she was alright... Narrowing her eyes, and without looking at him, she ran a - now free of her pocket - finger over the lid of one of the milkshakes next to her and asked slowly and carefully, "You don't happen to work for them do you?" Hopefully the guy would get her meaning and realise she was talking about the shop... Though if he worked for the ministry too, that'd be pretty cool. Friends were always good. ..... Wat? And there was the first sign of madness. But seriously, she did need to make some friends around the ministry. Bumping into Edilson all the time wasn't the best habit to be keeping up with.

Giving the man a sideways glance, she bit her bottom lip. Now the question was out of her mouth, she KNEW that he didn't work for the shop. He had dog treats in his hand and was far too good looking to work in a small, scabby place like this was getting something out of the fridge. But dog treats. WHAT IF HE HAD A DOG?! OMG SHE COULD HAVE A DOG WALKING PARTNER. Contrary to the wild thoughts leaping around her head, she nodded toward the packt in his hand and asked in a voice which she hoped desperately was nonchalant, "What breed do you own?" Open question. Once again. Could be taken ANY WAY. Geez. Way to go for being socially apt.

So.. this girl was definitely not a happy.. camper? Was that the old saying? He glanced at her, watching her roll her eyes. "Milk?" he glanced at the shelves. There was.. plenty of milk. Maybe she just didn't see it? But then again, it was sort of hard to miss. "Wait, hold up. You feed your dog milk? That's.. something." Cats drink milk. Not dogs. Unless this particular dog happened to think it was a cat.. then maybe it would suffice. But Em was almost positive that it didn't.

The twenty eight year old eyed the female suspiciously. "You don't happen to work for them, do you?" He question rang through his head multiple times as he dissected it trying to figure out just what she meant. Surely, there were multiple possible meanings behind it. But still.. she could have meant the store.. and then there was probably some other option that was not coming to his brain at the moment. He raised a curious brow before answering. "Here? Of course not. Does it look like i'd work here?" he played with his leather jacket with his free hand and grinned before continuing. "Plus, i'm not exactly in any sort of uniform, which most of the workers here seem to be wearing." Em shrugged and glanced around at the workers who wore some sort of strange apron. Weird.

Glancing around the shop rather quickly, he checked the area, making sure it was still secure and that there wasn't any suspicious characters. Which... there still weren't. Then, his blue eyes wandered back to her brown ones. And then.. she was asking him another strangely open question? Breed... he glanced around the shop once more but his eyes quickly snapped to the dog food and treats he held in his arm. Oh. He was awfully slow today. "A German Shorthaired Pointer," he beamed, picturing her in his mind. "And you? I mean, I assume you have one as well." He smiled softly, remembering her mentioning only moments ago that she had to get milk for her.. dog.

Leanne was determined to blend in. Her encounter with Aedan at the pizza parlour had proved she was definitely not great at talking to muggles she didn't know. That was why she was walking towards the little store the muggles seemed to need. Inside she eyed the aisles but found nothing that caught her interest. BUT over there were those machines she once had a fight with that made muggle coffee. She had yet to figured out how. A man was standing there making his own cup of coffee and she didn't see him getting soaked with milk. Then, why did the machine always throw coffee at her? Meanihead.

She took a few steps closer to the man who worked the machine with obviously magic fingers. Or something. She needed to find out how that muggle dude did that.

"Hi," she said out of nowhere, was she talking to the machine or the man? Well, the machine couldn't really hear her. Could it? "Um, is it... Tasty?" she asked the man nodding towards the cup in his hand. Blend in, miss Reed. Right.

Ah, yes. Coffee cup was now full and now the world was full of rainbows and butterflies. He grabbed a lid from the counter and placed it on his cup, it snapping into place. Mason didn't realize someone else was in the store. That is until she randomly appeared next to him. He was probably too caught up the wonderful world of coffee.

Mason glanced at the woman whom he'd never seen before and tilted his head slightly. Was it tasty? "Well that depends. Are we talking coffee in general, or this specific cup?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. And he'd never had coffee from this place before, so he really had no idea. He gave her a slight smile and took a sip. Mason winced as the burning hot liquid slid down his throat. "I'll let you know when I can feel my tongue again."

Convenience stores meant SHOPPING CARTS and SHOPPING carts meant fun, immature fun. Bruno Vanderpol was ready for some immature fun. So what did he do? Well, he grabbed a shopping cart first of and went to an empty, aisle. Oh yes, this was going to be a blast. Passing a few random people he sent the innocent smiles in their direction.

He found that empty aisle though and RAAAAAAAAAAAN the shopping cart as FAST as he could. And then after that? Well, he hopped on and RODE the shopping cart."WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"He yelled, holding on. Hopefully no one would catch him, right? YEAH. No one was gonna catch him. He was too slick for that.

Leanne raised one eyebrow, of course she was talking that specific cup he held in his hands, well actually the coffee that specific machine made. She knew how coffee tasted.
...
She hoped.

When he winced and said he couldn't feel her tongue, her ninja mode was instantly turned on. "Why? What did it do?" she asked him quickly looking at the cup in his hand.

Perhaps it was magical after all. And evil. A magical cup of evil liquid, out to destroy all the world's tongues.... Seemed like a good business concept.

Luke walked into the convenience store and fixed himself a large cappuccino and then walked over to the candy aisle and picked up a couple of his favorite muggle candy bars, Kit-Kats. He then went over and browsed the comic books and picked out a barbie coloring book for Lana and some crayons to go with it. He loved little places like this, having gotten spoiled on them in America.

Ryu fancied himself for some muggle food today. What could be better than a pack of chips and some delicious soda with some chocolates to go with that? It's been awhile since he last ate some muggle food since clearly, he's staying in the Wizarding world.

Looking at the shelves of the store and picking up stuffs he wants to eat when he goes home. Ayumi would be really happy about this. She's been talking about muggle food since last week, the junk foods.

Continuing walking and concentrating on the shelves, Ryu wasn;t watching where he was walking when suddenly he bumped into someone. "Sorry" he bowed to the person. Japanese habits. "Are you okay sir?" he asked the man he bumped into.

Now why does this guys look very familiar. Has he seen him somewhere else? From where? Ryu couldn't seem to remember him but to Ryu, the guy really, really looks familiar.

Luke smiled. He recognized the guy immediately. He was still a little bothered by the fact that the dude had been so medieval saying that Ayumi wasn't allowed to date when the girl was clearly overage, but still He had nothing against the guy. Luke bowed back, he was learning Japanese culture from Mizuki. "It's nice to see you again, even though we weren't properly introduced earlier."

See Ryu again? Ryu knew the guy was familiar. He started to browse for series of events that he could have met the guy. Let's see, party? No. Reunion? No. Ministry? Nah. And then it hit him...

...AYUMI... Of course the guy once asked his sister. He looked at the guy this time but didn't want to start any Ayumi conversation with him. "Yeah I guess" he said while picking up some of the things on the floor and putting them back on the shelves. "I'm Ryu" he said to him. Well at least now he knows what's the name of Ayumi's twin is.

Luke helped Ryu pick up some things off the floor. "My name is Luke. Look I didn't mean anything wrong before. I'm not a bad guy and I don't know what I did to offend you before." He stood and picked up his cappuccino and his candy. He didn't like leaving things where they were before with dude just walking off.

So Luke was his name. "thanks" he said to him as he helped him pick up the things on the floor.

Apparently, he is trying to explain himself to him? He looked confused to that. "Like I said, my sister is not allowed to date" yeah, all guys would admit they're not a bad guy. Ayumi had encountered most of them and as the oldest by 2 minutes, Ryu is bound to protect his twin anytime. Especially to guys. "And Ayumi's not the kind of person to date with" probably he should just have add that his sister is a real heart breaker. Would date someone once and NEVER see them EVER again. Her usual dating life. Of course, Ryu knew those stuffs. Ayumi and him are too close. His just warning Luke that's all.

"Ok fine so she's not allowed to Date, but seriously she's above age and there is nothing in the law that says she couldn't spend time with a friend if she wanted to." He knew they had to be careful, they were in the muggle world.

Luke kind of looked a little sad, he didn't get why the guy had just snatched her away, but he turned and walked toward the cash register.

Rufin almost ran into the shop. He needed coffee. Proper muggle coffee. None of this magical stuff; he'd got used to the loveliness of muggle coffee when he was working in the German Ministry and, for some reason, preferred it to anything not made without magic. He went to the little self serve section and made himself a coffee, paying for it as he took a sip. Mmmmmmmmmmm. He held the warm cup in his hands and left the shop to brave the cold early-year wind.

Charlotte walked to the Convience Store after she got done with work. She was tired and hungry, so the most logical solution was a pop and a snack. For most people it might be coffee, but she didn't like coffee. Just pop for her, a Pepsi preferably. She grabbed one from the cooler and went down the candy isle, looking for something to eat.

Elizabeth walked into the convience store. She went to the coffee machine and made a cup of coffee. She walked to the counter and paid for it. She was tired from a long day at work.

Jayden was on a mission... on a mission to distract himself as long as humanly possible from getting his work done. He wasn't putting it off because it was hard or anything. He was putting it off because he had all day to come up with 3 portkeys. Which... wasn't going to be a big deal since he was in a muggle convenience store.

In fact, he was just planning on eating something and bringing his trash back to work.

That was, of course... as soon as he was done doing everything else he could possibly think of doing. He glanced around hoping for something to distract him.

Ohh! Children's Christmas craft book. That would do it.

Chocolate!

Jade was having the urge for a Flake bar and she knew just the place to get one or two of them. They were a guilty pleasure of hers, along with those Cadbury Fruit & Nut Bars. She really couldn't get enough of them and her supple was out. She would just have to stop at the store before returning home.

Rushing over to the chocolates, she passed the biscuits.

Oh! Digestives!

She grabbed a pack and continued on her way to the chocolates that had brought her into the store.

Sweet, sweet chocolatey goodness!

Grabbing a bar of each, she turned to venture back to pay for her items when she saw a familiar person. Well, the back of a certain person she knew that is.

Silently, she walked over and stood beside him.

"Last minute shopping?"

Jayden chuckled. "No. Believe it or not I'm working." He looked around suspiciously. "Top secret." he added with a smirk. Of course... nothing about his job was top secret. He didn't know what the portkeys were doing after he picked them out.

He nodded in the direction of the 'feminine' aisle. "What do you think Armen would do if I brought in a box of tampons?" he asked unable to fully contain his laugh.

He was pretty sure his boss wouldn't know what they were. And he knew for sure that it would make an excellent portkey. No muggle in their right mind would touch a box randomly located in a forest somewhere. So technically it wouldn't be against his job description at all.

"What about you hun? What brings you to the muggle corner store?"

Jade smiled as she shook her head in amusement. "Top secret, you say? Well, then your secret is safe with me." She did enjoy a good top secret job, they always seemed to amuse her and it wasn't like she wasn't used to them in the department she worked in.

Following his line of sight, she blinked and fought the urge to laugh. "I'm not sure he would be at all amused by it, but I would find it rather hilarious." It was ingenious in her mind, but she was sure that others wouldn't find it at all appropriate for whatever it was meant for.

Smiling innocently, she held up her treats. "I needed a snack." Yes, she just going to keep it simple. He knew about her addiction to chocolate as is.

"I needed more biscuits too. I ate my last digestive the other day and my desk isn't not the same without my hidden stash of treats." Okay, maybe it wasn't a complete stash at all. Just a pack of biscuits and some Galaxy bars, but they were there just in case she did need them.
