'Well that's good isn't it? At least that way the kids aren't here' Teresa shrugged. She sensed that something more was in Jaeke's mind, she didn't need to do any kind of 'mind reading' when it was written all over his face. She looked around and tried to make her mind think normally, this was quite difficult since there was too many things happening at once in her life.

Ooc: Dang you guys go fast!!

Samantha had been admiring the great mansion and now hurried after the others. She took in the beautiful surroundings and smiled slightly. It must be nice to live here. She glanced up as Jaeke spoke. "No one's here?" she asked in surprise. "Well why would they all hide if they heard you were coming Jaeke? You'd think they would want to see you after all this time."

Teresa gave Sam a shut-up-look and hit her gently on the arm in a way no-one could see except the two of them. If those girls kept talking to Jaeke like that then she'd never get his friendship or at least make him respect her. She looked back at him and then she started searching the room for kids or any person without moving. There had to be somewhere in that house.

Roslyn had arrived with Kamilah but decided to carry on ahead. She ran slightly through the gates and caught up with the others.

"Where is everyone?" She asked taking in the magnificance of the hall. For an estate which the Pharoah lived, it certainly was deserted.

Jaeke shrugged. "Whatever," he told Teresa, then turned to Sam and raised an eyebrow. "They'd be glad to see me? Please." He snorted, then continued, "They cried tears of joy when I left. Why would they want to see me now?"

He then turned to Roslyn, then shrugged. "That's what we're trying to figure out. Any ideas, detective?" He asked, a bit sarcastically.

"Hey, I'm just commenting. I don't know anything about you or the situation that you are in right now in relation to your father, so why would I have any ideas about why this place is deserted?" Roslyn replied quite rudely back.

"I believe I met Kira." Seth said with a laugh, first time he met her he was quite young and very immature, he had started chatting her up. The look on his face when he found out she was married to Jaeke's dad must have been priceless.

"Let's split up and search for clues!!" Seth blurted, unable to contain the line.

Ooc: LOL.

Jaeke snickered at the look on Seth's face. "Don't tell me you had a crush.. did you?" He asked, then shrugged. He stepped into the room, then took everything in. Many things changed in the inside, and Jaeke was a bit frusterated at that.

Once he heard what Seth said next, he bursted out laughing. A sincere laugh - and the first time he laughed for a while. "You forgot 'gang', mate. 'Let's split up and search for clues, gang!'"

Teresa couldn't help smiling when she heard Jaeke laughing. She looked at Samantha and made a sign for her to go near her. She then noticed how many people were missing: Lori, David, Kamilah and many others. She wondered where they were. 'Erm... guys, where are the others?' She asked.

Samantha cracked a smile as she heard Seth and her smile grew wider as she heard Jaeke laugh. Well that was refreshing to hear. She glanced at Teresa and moved closer when she motioned. "I don't know." she said, turning back around. "They still can't be outside can they?"

"You just gotta nit-pick don't ya J?!!" Seth complained with a laugh as he followed Jaeke.

Jaeke mocked Seth, then rolled his eyes as he walked back to them, sliding. "I can't help to correct," he shot back, then suddenly stared at Seth. "J? Did you just call me J?" He asked, in mock-anger. He took off his shoes, then grinned dangerously. "C'mon Seth. Just like before. Slide-wrestling. First one down wins." Without waiting for Seth to answer, Jaeke took a charging run at him, sliding wildly, then slammed in Seth, tackling him to the ground. "That'll teach ya' to call me J, mate!" He yelled, laughing. He completely forgot about everyone else.. this is what Jaeke and Seth used to do for fun.

'Dunno' Teresa answered Sam and bit her lip. She wondered what was happening with the others. Maybe she should try to find out? When she was thinking about it she heard more laughing and turned around to see Jaeke and Seth playing around. Once again a smile appeared on her lips. She wished Jaeke was always like that towards everyone, towards her.

Samantha smiled as she saw Jaeke tease Seth. Now they would all have a good time if Jaeke acted this way with everyone, but sadly Samantha saw little chance of that happening. Glancing over at Teresa, she noticed a far-away expression upon her face. Not wishing to disturb her, she glanced around the room, wondering when the others would turn up. It was a beautiful place and she was a bit intrigued as to why Jaeke left in the first place. But of course that was none of her business, so she kept quiet.

Lori followed the group silently, so it was no wonder that Tess and Sam didn't notice her. "I'm right here, guys," she muttered glumly, arms crossed. She remained her position behind her friends, and saw what Teresa did to Sam. Did she just give her a 'shut up' look, and hit her on the arm? Now, that was NOT Teresa.

She then heard laughter and saw Seth and Jaeke 'fighting'. A small smile played on her lips as she watched it, but she mostly kept her eyes on Seth. Now, if only she could get along with him like that, but so far, she never even bothered to talk to him. She then saw how Tess was looking at Jaeke, and an idea popped in her head.

Of course! She had noticed that Teresa had something for Jaeke, but decided it was only puppy love, but now, it was clear. Teresa was trying ot gt to Jaeke, but wasn't being herself. Now she started to grow concerned. What if, throught the trip, Teresa would develop this not-her attitude, and be mean like Jaeke? She shook it off and simply decided to let things unfold.

She looked around and admired the place. It was delicately decorated, with the most beautiful interiors she had ever seen. The place was very big indeed. She breathed deeply and suddenly froze. She heard footsteps echoing from a certain room. "What was that?" she muttered to her friends.

"It's like that is it!" Seth said as he fought off Jaeke and kicked his shoes off. He quickly overpowered Jaeke and flipped him over, trying to pin him.

"Dude you know I am stronger than you so quit it with the physical competition!" He told his best mate jokingly as he grabbed him in a mock headlock.

ooc: hehe I know ^.^ Congrats for winning the competion, Naomi! You deserved it!

Teresa turned around when she heard Lori and smiled. 'Glad you're here' She said truthfully. She had got quite worried about her and the others. So if Lori was there than the others should be near, or at least that was what she hoped. She also heard the footsteps but didn't get as scared as her friend. She moved closer to Lori. 'I don't know... Probably someone from the house?' She asked.

Kamilah was unaware of everything else. She was standing in front of the other mansion, it's huge wrought iron gates towering over her. The sun reflected off the windows, making them look as if they were winking at her, the massive porch at the front was a gleaming white, and and the front door a deep red. She stood fixated. This was her home. This is where she gew up, and yet, something wasn't quite right. She couldn't put her finger on it. She walked closer to the gates and looked through. The green grass looked soft (it was one of the few houses with grass in the area) and she remembered plaing on it with the sprinklers. Her thoat suddenly became sore. She loved this house.
She jumped as the front door opened and a tall blonde woman came out, a few kids surrounding her. They were laughing, talking. Kamilah jumped back from the gate.
This wasn't her house. Not anymore.
She turned and ran into Jaekes, just like she used to as a child, before everything changed. She heard their voices in the marble hall. She snorted as she imagined what Kira's reception would be like. Openeing the door she became aware of laughter. Laughter she recognised. She opened the door wider, and couldn't believe what she was seeing. Jaeke was having fun, laughing, genuinely laughing, with Seth. She felt a sudden jolt as she realised how attractive they both were at that moment.
She quickly recovered and her face became her usual mask.
"What's going on?" she asked. "I can't believe they let you in J, where's her royal pain the *** Kira?"

Roslyn laughed at Seth and Jaeke wrestling on the floor. She thought that it was good that Jaeke could relax and be himself. She truly didn't think that the arrogant side of him was his true self, and this little outbursts with Seth proved that. Why can't he be like that all the time? She thought.

Drawing her attention from the two boys, she turned to Tess and Lori. She knew that both of them liked either Jaeke or Seth, or even both, but she couldn't see the attraction. Sure the guys were good-looking, but apart from that, Roslyn just couldn't see it.

Roslyn started to wander around the hall taking in the intricate designs on the ceiling. Jaeke's house was certainly spectacular.

"Quit dreaming!" Jaeke shot back, as he struggled with trying to free his head from the headlock. With a pinch on Seth's arm, he broke free and slipped - falling flat on his back. He then whirled his feet around, knocking against Seth's ankles - trying to cause him to fall, too.

He shook his head, as he didn't even look at Kamilah, before saying, "'Course they'd let me in. I live here, too, remember?" With a growl, he tackled Seth, then shoved him down and kneeled on his back. "I win! Surrender now, or prepare to die!" He shouted, a bit over-dramatically.

He suddenly froze, as he stared over at a door. With a deep shout from the doorway - not Jaeke - of, "What is going on here?!", a tall, older-looking version of Jaeke entered, followed by a scowling but pretty blonde haired woman.

Jaeke suddenly jumped up, placing his hands behind his back and bowing his head slightly - the usual gesture when his father was speaking to him. "N-nothing, Father.." He trailed off, as if realizing what he was doing, let go of his hands behind his back and stared straight at his father. He didn't look behind, as his father ordered Kira to take his friends back outside, then Jaeke silently followed his father as they both disappeared behind the farthest door from the entrance doors.

Kira walked towards them, narrowing her eyes. "Follow me," she said crisply, leading the group towards the entrance doors.

Seth stood up when Jaeke jumped off of him. He scowled in the direction of Jaeke's father, he never liked the bloke. With a sigh he headed towards Kira, he didn't like her either not once he found out what she was like. He gave Jaeke a half smile as he walked past him.

"Why do I have to go outside? It's not like you don't know me. Or is it still that you don't trust someone from such a low family?" Seth asked Kira bitterly. "The slightest noise that I don't like coming from inside that house and I am going back in. Someone's got to watch out for Jaeke!" He declared with a glare.

Roslyn was shocked as this woman, who looked no older than her was directing her and the others out of the house. She kept glancing back at Jaeke and his father.

"What? Why can't we stay here? This isn't right, we were invited." Roslyn argued back to the blonde woman.

Teresa almost jumped when she heard another male voice. She turned around to see an older version of Jaeke. Now she understood why he had said what he did. His father looked quite scary. Her eyes stopped in the blonde woman. Looks make men crazy, don't they? she thought. It seemed that everyone from that family had a cold heart. She smiled at Seth and nodded at what he said. 'I'm really sorry, but I'm not leaving' She said politely but with no smile on her lips.

Samantha turned her head as she heard another voice. Taking in the man and the young woman behind him, it registered that this must be his father and the blonde he was talking about. As she watched Jaeke, she felt a twinge of sympathy for him. She treated her own parents with respect but this was a bit ridiculous.

She stared back at Kira and nodded as Teresa spoke. "Yes, why don't we stay here and enjoy your lovely abode?" she asked, hoping that being polite would somehow change Kira's attitude toward them. She didn't know why but she felt an urgency to stay in the house.

The lady - Kira - narrowed her eyes at them. "No, no," she said briskly, shaking her head. "You lot must stay outsi-" She stopped, as the sound of arguing filled the room. She froze, then stared in the direction of where the sound was coming from - the room Jaeke and his father went. In no time at all, they were already arguing.

Sounds of things being broken, then silence, as a loud crash suddenly filled the air. A smacking sound followed, then a thud, as Jaeke thrusted open the doors and bolted past everyone. He shouted something that sounded like curses behind him, then ran out of the house.

He didn't go too far, only sidestepping once he was outside, hiding in the bushes.
