Entering the common room through a still life painting near the kitchens, you will find the spacious room known as your House Common Room. Welcome! Your common room is your sanctuary. During your seven years here, your house will be like your family. The large room is designed around the fireplace, which sits in the very middle, and will more than likely be your favorite place on cold winter nights.
Flanking off and into the rest of the room, the room is furnished with plush armchairs, generally in clusters of two or four. There are also comfortable large couches that might swallow you up, if you're not careful. The wall decor is, of course, Hufflepuff house colors. There are also yellow and black hangings around the room.
A large solid wood table is set up to the far side of the room, the perfect place to study, and should you find yourself in need of inspiration, portraits of memorable Hufflepuffs such as Nymphadora Tonks, Cedric Diggory, and even Zacharias Smith, flying on his broomstick, line the walls around you.
Opposite, you will find two underground tunnels, each going a different way, to the right the tunnel will lead you to the boy's dorms, and to the left, the girl's dorms.

" She already went to bed I think. " , talking about Amethyst. " do you think I need to approach her more? " Justin asked as he was fishing for girls point of view. He had heard Harvey's advice .

Alyssa agreed with Justin. "I'm with you, Justin. Minnie is a great girl and I'm not surprised that Harvey likes her. But his obsession is unhealthy. If he doesn't stop harassing her, we may need to speak with Professor Hadley. We don't want his obsession to get out of hand."
Minerva started laughing at Aaron. He was kind of funny she decided. "Are you ok, your not hurt are you?"
Aaron looked up, still hanging over the armrest. 'Nah, I'm good. Except this isn't really comfortable.'
He rolled over and fell to the floor, where he scrambled back up and shook his hair back in shape. 'All good, all good.'

A blonde haired girl had walked into the common room. Ness watched as she sat down only to realize it was her sister Juliet. "JULIE!" Ness shouted. She had never been so happy to see her sister. She hadn't seen her sister around in quite a while and she wanted to make sure that her little sister was doing just fine. "How you been Jellybean?" said Ness teasing her little sister.
Aaron grinned and almost spit out some Dr. Pepper when Nessie told him not to expect a girlfriend. He burst out in insane laughter, he didn't need any of that nonsense, it was a busy life being him. Too busy for some girl. 'I've got to hit the girls off of me,' he said, totally not bluffing. 'You know, super romancer and such.'
'Do something in return?' Aaron frowned in concentration. 'Well I accepted Alyssa's dare to do something during Potions... Be prepared for hell, I guess.' He wasn't sure what he was going to do, but it had to be something good. It wouldn't do to get a years worth of detention for a bad stunt, that would just make him look bad. 'What do you want me to do, to embarrass myself?'

Yelling for her? Wait... party? Aaron? Who was this Aaron person? And why was he throwing a party? Waving off these sudden questions in her head, Kita let a grin spread across her lips. "Party?" she asked, "Am i invited?" Pfft! Like that was the most important question! "Is there food?" Much better.
The sound of a boy talking made Kita shift her attention to him. She frowned slightly. Did she know this boy? He seemed oddly... familiar. Or maybe he wasn't? Maybe he had one of those faces that was common?
Too. Many. Questions!
"That's the best type of party," she said, letting a grin spread across her face. And... the boy was waving his arms around. Like a madman. WAS he a madman? She let out a small giggle.
Kita smiled down at the young girl, secretly glad she had known that the girl was younger than her. Okay, fine, she didn't know what year precisely the girl was in. MOVING ON! "Nice to meet you too Minerva," she said, noting how brave this girl was. Usually, firsties didn't want to talk to her because of her year but Minerva was acting as if they were the same age.
Can cook other things? "Merlin!" She was going to have to stop saying that! "That's a useful skill to have!" One she needed to learn to do. Oh. Muggle cooking. That was still good! Better in fact. But wait... Is there actually a difference between muggle and magical cooking? Scratch that. "But muggle cooking is harder isn't it?" she asked, looking between the two girls, "So magical cooking would be easier for you to learn...?" That was her logic. And... that's why she wasn't in Ravenclaw.
Kita looked at Minerva, slightly confused. The girl said that she'd be right back...? Was she going to go get something? Something along the lines of FOOD?! Shrugging, she waved at the young girl before turning back to the others.
'Sure is!' Aaron agreed, he already liked her, so long as she liked parties they'd be sure to get along.
