He chuckled lightly. "I get that it's a type of dance -- I may be an unmotivated student, but I'm not completely un-cultured," he added with another chukcle. "I guess what I'm wondering is why you're training to dance like that. Just for fun? Do you dance back home?"

" Well, it may come as a surprise , but I thought the same thing the other night. It was getting abit uncomfortable. I just didn't want to get in the middle of it. Not with Harvey there. I figured we'd talk about it sooner or later. You know, when you were ready. " Justin said reassuringly. " And I know exactly how you feel about classes. It's all been a blur. and I'm always late! "

Maybelle wanted to stick her tongue out at Damien. "I realize this. But guys don't usually know anything about the term dance...so I just assumed.." She trailed off knowing Damien would probably figure out the rest of the sentence. Then, he mentioned home. She sighed, home. California. "Yeah, I danced back home. But I haven't danced since I came here. And then this year..the dance class made me want to dance again. But that's two years of not dancing. Two years for my ankles to weaken." She said, showing Damien her now swollen ankle, and the blisters on her feet. "That's my punishment for not practicing." She said, trying not to wince as she rubbed her ankle gently.

"I'm sorry if it was uncomfortable, but that is how my life has been lately with him. I'm not sure how to bring it up without hurting him. Then today in class the blue and yellow hair.. Geez."

" I know. I totally wanted to burst out laughing. did you hear me take a jab at him for it? I just saw the look in your eyes that kept screaming for help. Do you want me to take him aside and talk to him ... you know... mate to mate. i won't even mention our conversation. " Justin said trying to be of help.

"Oh my would you do that for me? Oh that would be great. I don't want to hurt him, but I feel every time he starts I just want to jump out of my skin. I just know one of these times I am going to just start yelling at him and I don't want that to happen."

" sure. I'm a Badger. That's what we do .... take care of each other. I'll do it later after you've gone to bed. Okay" said Justin. " Besides , guys know how to say stuff like this without all the drama of emotions. " justin didn't know if Harvey was going to bug , but he needed to know that he was smuthering the girl of his dreams.And could lose her if he didn't back off a bit.

Damien laughed heartily this time. Maybelle was basically pinning him as a typical guy, but he couldn't blame her. It was, after all the girl thing to do, wasn't it? Wasn't it also their goal to find a guy that didn't fit the typical description?

Hang on, did she say dance class? "Don't get me wrong, Maybelle," he began, "It's great that you were so dedicated to dancing and took the time to train and all -- but you do realize we attend a magical school right? How on earth did you find a dance class to attend?"

Yes, Damien never went to classes so he wouildn't know anything that went on academically around the school. But he was sure Maybelle knew of his slacker-attitude so he hoped she wouldn't give him a hard time about it.

Jesifur entered the common room looking around she found a large mirror on the far side and walked over to it. Giggling at the sight of her sky blue spiky hair she pulled her wand out. Concentrating hard she imagined her hair its normal length and said, "Intaris" with two taps of her wand. The spiky hair began to grow and fall into place. She gave hear head a quick shake to see if it felt right. It seemed pretty good. She gazed into the mirror again and thought of her natural hair color, "Intaris" and again two taps of the wand. The blue faded away and she was left with her hair, the way it was before "clown class". That's normal she thought, but it was nice to change it for a bit. Jesifur headed towards the dorms maybe she would change it again before next class. She always wondered how she would look with very curly hair.

Alyssa came down to the Common Room after a good night's sleep. As she yawned and walked down the stairs, she noticed that some of the students were looking and staring at her. "Do have I some smut on my nose?" Alyssa wondered to herself. She quickly ran to the mirror and got the shock of her life.

"Yikes!! my hair!! I totally forgot to change my hair back to the way it was this morning. No wonder everyone things I'm weird." She quickly found a quiet spot in the common room trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. Taking out her wand, she tapped her head twice with the wand and said "In-Ta-Ris". She quickly ran back to the common room mirror and look at it. Her hair was back to her regular color and length.

"Whew! that teaches me to practice on spells right before I go to bed. Thank goodness I didn't pick an afro hair do. I would never have heard the end of that".

Nessie started giggling again. Aaron had just called her Professor Loch Ness..she'd could only imagine how funny it would have been if they really had a professor named that. "Why...would you be disapointed Professor Aaron?" she asked letting another laugh slip out her mouth.

Now Aaron was pushing it. "Theres not a chance im doing that!" she said with a straigh face. She wasn't going to go around wearing a monster suit and acting like a monster...it would traumatise her for life.

Aaron wasn't sure why he'd be disappointed, but he had decided that he would be, so he was going to be. 'Well...' he frowned and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. 'Because well, you know. It's very disappointing to eh- you know not be childish? Or something of that sorts...' He frowned. That sounded weird. But he was sure Nessie knew what he meant.

'NOT A CHANCE?' Aaron got down on his knees, banging his hands against the floor. It was soft. He leaned down to rub his face against it, 'did you ever feel this? It is soooo soft. I can die now.' He then remembered what he was trying to do. Monster dress up. 'PWEAAAASE DRESS UP! Pleaaase. It'd be the bestest thing in like EVER!'

"Oh Alyssa I liked your hair." Minerva smiled at her friend. "Looks like your getting good at the hair changing spell!"

Maybelle laughed at Damien. Riight, he didn't go to classes, the naughty boy . She thought for a moment. "Yes, I realize we are in a magical school, Chad Stryker-dude held a dance class at the gazebo. I danced with Matt Stevenson, because Jake wasn't there. And Isobel danced with Sammmy, because you weren't there...but the homework is dancing with someone." She winked. "So I'm pretty sure Isobel will be bugging you about it." She laughed, and tied the ribbons together on her shoes and put them around her shoulders. Maybelle looked down and giggled. "They blend in with my hair...don't they?" She said, playing with her long red locks of hair.

"Oh Merlin!! Minerva. I almost didn't recognize myself when I looked in the mirror just now. I almost scared myself silly. Yep! I'm definitely getting good at the hair changing spell. I just have to remember not do it before I go to bed. But I sure do love playing around with it. You know what? I'm going to change it again right before we get on the train for home. I can't wait what my Mom's reaction is going to be when she sees me with an Afro purple blue streaked hair do,"Alyssa laughed with Minerva.

"That would be to funny. I could only imagine my dad if I walked in with a different hair style. With him being a muggle he would think it would not go back to normal.."

"Hey, you should try it. It's not like he's going to ground you or anything. Besides he knows that you're in wizarding school, so chances of you coming back with a trick or two up your sleeve won't be unexpected", Alysssa told Minerva.

"Aaron, what are you trying to force Nessie to do now," Alyssa came up behind him. "Are you still high on your Dr. Peppers.?You didn't forget to bring some of the Muggle snacks back with you did you? I managed to snag us some skittles and Cokes." Yes! it was time to chilax and party!!

Aaron turned around and spotted Alyssa. What he was trying to force Nessie to do? Absolutely nothing, of course.
'Nothiiiiiiiinggggg,' he said, sounding a lot like when his mother had just told him off for pestering one of his sisters and his eyes big- that was innocence, obviously.

High on Dr. Pepper? Of course not, he was unaffected by it's effects. 'Alyssaaaa, course I'm not Dr Peppered up. But naturally,' he showed her the contents of his pockets, 'I remembered to bring goodies along. Party hard.'

"HMMMM well maybe I just will" Minerva giggled. She looked over at who else Alyssa was talking to. OH it was that boy from class and who gave Justin such horrible advice the other night what was his name.. Oh yeah "Well hello Aaron."

Alyssa noticed Minerva give Aaron a strange look. "Minerva, I guess you've met Aaron. Don't mind him. He likes clowning around but he's really very harmless. He's just crazy with a CAPITAL C especially when he's had too much Dr. Pepper to drink. But if he hasn't had any yet, than it's just because he just loves life and partying."

"Sure I believe you, Aaron.....NOT!!", Alyssa laughed with him. "You always have something planned. You wouldn't be you, if you didn't. Alright!! where's the rest of the gang. KIRA!!! it's time to party!!" Alyssa yelled out for Kira.

Minerva looked at Alyssa. Does she really like this guy? Hmm maybe he wasn't so bad, but Minerva was going to keep her guard up. "Oh ok Alyssa if you say he's ok. I believe you." She looked at Aaron. "I'm sorry Aaron I didn't mean to come across not friendly."

Violet walked in nervuosly. They'd taken her twin from her. Lilly was in Gryffindor. Unlike her. She was in Hufflepuff. She felt tears burn to her eyes again. No. Her twin, and her sister, Rose, wouldn't want her to be sad. She sighed. She just needed to meet some people! Then she'd be fine!

What was with this school? Last year, students were told to excercise and drink Polyjuice potion to transform into other students (which he still thought was illegal) -- now they're supposed to dance and find dance partners to practice with?

Perhaps Damien's life wasn't crazy. It was everyone else.

The mention of Isobel brought a smile to his face, then; and he nodded his head. "Well I won't disappoint her this time, seeing as how I wasn't in class for the first lesson." Nor would he plan on attending any, but no need to talk with Maybelle about that.

Not that he paid attention to the colour of hair, or what matched it, but yes, Maybelle was right in the fact that the ribbons of her shoes did manage to coordinate very well with her hair. "Throw in some gold, and you'd look very Gryffindor-ish," he commented.

At hearing his name Aaron spun around dramatically, nearly losing his balance in the process.
'Well, isn't it LOVELY to see you. Hello Minerva.' He spoke in a posh accent. He wasn't sure why he'd done it, it would hardly go in well with her and as far as Aaron knew she wasn't too keen on him.

But that could hardly worry him, she'd come around and realise that Aaron was just about the greatest thing ever. Totally.

Alyssa had guessed right. Aaron knew Minerva from his professional advising of Justin. It'd been GREAT advice, even if Minerva begged to differ. It really was. Really.

Wait, what? Aaron with a capital C? He had probably missed something. A A R O N, R O B E R T S. No C. Nor was there one in his middle name. L E V I.
'Nope, capital A and R. And L.' He nodded, that sounded better.

At the sound of Dr. Pepper, Aaron pulled another bottle out of one of his many pockets and let out a satisfied sigh. 'Marry me, Doctor.'

When Alyssa mentioned the party Aaron shook his head, FOCUS. There were things more important than Dr Pepper. Even if he would never admit it.

'RIGHT, PARTY!' He pulled heaps of candy and drinks out of his bag and pockets, let the party begin.

Didn't come across as friendly? Professor Lafay was probably even friendlier!
Okay, that was a lie. Still, she didn't like him.
BUT NOW SHE DID. Success!

'Come off as not friendly?' Aaron shook his head dramatically, 'pfffsh, none of that! None of that! You were delightful, Minerva.' He flashed the two girls a grin.


Aaron then spotted a firsty, looking very lonely. He jumped up and down to get her attention, waving his arms over his head.
'Hi there! You should join our party! But it's not started yet, as you can plainly see.' He smiled at her, that was a good greeting, right? Oh yeah, name. 'Aaron Roberts. HI!'

Violet jumped. She laughed at a boy who was talking to her. 'Can I? I'd hate to intrude!' Violet chuckled. 'Violet Deluise, hi! I'm just a bit sad. I've been separated from my twin and my sister, Lilly and Rose. I don't suppose you know either?' she asked the gang around Aaron.
