Minerva came back into the common room looking for Alli, she wasn't up in the dorm. Minerva was worried..

Alyssa turned when she heard Minerva call out to her. She sighed. She knew Minerva was not going to give up. "Might as well tell her," Alyssa told herself.
She waited until Minerva caught up with her.

"Min. Thank you so much for caring about me. I'm really lucky to have you and Justin as friends. I should be the one looking out for you guys. I'm older than you. Anyway, I really am okay. I know that my family won't think the worst of me just because I didn't make the team. The fact that I missed the tryouts is what I'm upset about. It could have been avoided. I would have made it to the tryouts, if I hadn't made a mistake and overslept. I shouldn't have stayed up late the night before studying. Everybody who made it to the tryouts all went to bed early. Penny told me to go to sleep but I said that I would be okay and that I would have no problems waking up the next morning. But I did. Penny tried to wake me but had to leave when I wouldn't wake up. So you see it was my own fault that I missed the tryouts. I was too stubborn and thought that I knew better than anyone else. That's why I blame myself. That's why I say I'm a loser. No one should count on me because I will let them down."

"Oh Alli" Minerva gave her a quick hug. "Do not call yourself a loser. Things happen and it was a mistake. You don't let people down. Alli I really didn't have many friends here at Hogwarts and the ones I did have were not from this house, but you were nice enough to give me a chance and talk to me. Then you introduced me to more people." Minerva pointed to the party that seemed to be closing up. "So don't tell me you are not dependable. You are a great person and a great friend. I bet next year you will make the team no problem."

Alyssa hugged Minerva. She was glad that she had talked with her. She did feel a whole lot better. It was good that she had her little cry although she still hoped that no one besides Justin and Minerva saw her do that. She was already embarrassed enough."Thank you for listening to me whine and for being my friend. You're right, I still have 5 more years to make the team and to be honest, only my great grand-dad made it when he was in his 1st year. The rest made the team after their 3rd year. So here's hoping that I'll get in next year. But for now I'll just cheer the team from the sidelines.

As for introducing you to more friends, I think we did our fair share of helping each other. As for Aaron, don't worry about him. He's really a cool guy and if he keeps teasing you just let me know. I'll 'beat' him up for you", Alyssa grinned at Minerva. "Let's go back down. I bet Justin must be looking for you". She took Minerva's hand in hers and dragged her back down the stairs and back into the Common Room.

Walking in from class, Keefer set his bag down by the wall. Right, time to practice for Transfiguration again. His disastrous first attempt had highlighted his need for further practice. Let's try Felintas again. He pictured his hair shoulder-length again, prepared to stop the growth early if necessary.

He raised his wand above his head and brought it down quickly. "Felin-- ow!" He had rapped himself a bit too hard. At least I didn't finish the incantation! My concentration was shot. Who knows what would've happened.

Lifting his wand again, he let it hover above his head as he pictured the right length of hair. Slowly bringing his wand down, he said "Felintas," as he tapped his head once. He glanced at his reflection in the window. Success! Now for the counterspell.

He tapped his head twice, thinking of how he usually wore his hair. "Intaris." The spell worked on the first try this time. "Back to normal. Good." I think I'll leave my practice there for the day. End on a high note!

Salima thought her hair looked nice since her last lesson and she didn't want to change it back but she was just going to practice, but she may even change it back again.
'INTARIS' she said as she tapped her head twice, 'hmm, ok change it back. Ahh might aswell just leave it.' she muttered.
Salima went to the far end of the common room and was about to sit down until she rememberd that she had to return the book to the library. 'I'll do it tommorrow' she yawned and walked up to the girls dormitory.

'Maybe'. Right. Treyen did nothing nor said anything when Arya said that. It was perfectly clear that the subject was completely over. Yet he will be asking his Co-Prefect about it in a month or so. At least just to make sure she'd spoken to Sabel. Or wrote to him, which was more likely considering they were at Hogwarts.

Then he saw a small smile on her face, and one of his own made an appearance. Yeah, it was great, like Arya said.

"We are." His smile widened. Treyen could go a bit more into the details of whatever him and Ellie had, but it would be complicated, long, and difficult to explain, not to mention that Arya didn't need to know as much, right? Right. "She must really like me, I think," he almost whispered. He'd been happy enough to keep Ellie as a friend, but being more than friends was definitely a plus.

Minerva walked into the common room and found a couch that her and Justin could sit down together on. She fell down into the comfy couch and waited for Justin to catch up.

Justin walked into the common room and sat on the nearest couch. " Boy, I'm beat. Hey, Min, you want a soda? I'm gonna go grab one from My trunk. " Justin had a secret stash of goodies as well.

Alyssa walked back into the Common Room still hoping that nobody else had noticed her crying spree. When she noticed that the portraits were hurrying towards her again, she turned around and told them. "It's okay now. Thank you for your concern but I'm okay now. Just go back to what you were doing.""Please", she silently thought to herself.

Putting a smile back on her face, she went back to join her friends. "Yo, AAAARRROONN!!!! KIIITAAAA!!! it's time to PPPPPAAARRRTTTTTYYY!! Put some music on someone!!"

"That sounds great Justin. Hey Alyssa you look like your in a better mood."

" Alright, I'm gonna offer some to everyone. " Said Justin.

" Hey, EVERYONE!!! You guys want some sodas. I've got a bunch! " Justin Offered.

Justin thought about it for a moment ..... " Accio Dew!! " And out to the table came the case of Mountain Dew in a bucket of ice.
