It has been eighty-nine years since Voldermort has been banished by none other than Harry Potter. A new family, called Hoxac, were the second most powerful wizards and witches in Voldermort's day. Now that he's gone... they've been busy. The father, his only name is Hoxac, has killed many families in the last fifteen years. The mother went crazy, jumping off the Hoxac's mansion-almost-castle's balcony. The maid and cook both ran away, only to be captured and returned to Hoxac, eventually dying a strange, unknown death. Three of the families children also died in that mansion, all vanishing --- never to be seen again. Hoxac's brother and sister-in-law went to visit him, never to return home.

But now. Now. It's a new age. Hoxac was captured and brought to Azkaban eventually dying from insanity. His house, known as the Hoxac Mansion, was closed off to the public, only few have known about it's location.

A new professor in Hogwarts knows this location, bringing together a "search team" to investigate it. He has heard of the stories about the house, and he and the caretaker agreed to stay for one week.

The stories are gruesome, some just made up to scare little children and people --- since the Hoxac Mansion was well-known. The few people that knew about where the Mansion actually was never did want to go there --- in fear of one of the stories, about never appearing ever again, once you stepped inside the house, that is. No one wanted to go... and no one ever knew the real story about it.. until now.

Orion Rysen, nephew of the Late Hoxac, the parent's who went to visit him, is the only one who knows half the story that's behind the Evil Mansion. He was invited to the Mansion, no one knowing that he is related to the Murderer Hoxac. He wanted to go in hopes of finding out what happened to the parents --- and to his cousins.

From fights, perhaps *love*, and friends and enemies, the "search group" nicknamed "The Hoxac Group" will uncover what really happened at the house.

Please, this is an all made-up RP. No perfect people, or anything like that. All rules from SS apply. No special powers, it ruins the RP. And please, if you want to join, I'd like it if you'd be dedicated to the RP and not drop out when you just get a tiny bit confused. Sure, you can drop out, but don't through a temper-tantrum if you aren't getting the plot. People will tell you, so please don't keep asking about it.

Roma nodded, coming in after Orion. "Yeah. We'll be back after a while. Bye, guys." She walked out of the room again with Orion and looked down both hallways. "Do you have any idea or clue as to where Hoxac might have put a kitchen?"

It had been quite a while since the two girls had seen anybody else. Noira and Caroline, moving slowly, wandered the corridors of the cursed old house, hoping to find somebody they knew. Obviously, because they knew everybody there. Noira moved over to one of the doors going of of the sinister looking hall-way and smiled. "Lets have a look in here Carolina." She led her friend into the room and half smiled, half groaned when she saw the contents of the room.

The room itself wasn't that great, all love having gone from its contents. Two sofa's were along one wall, the wall opposite was covered in a floor to ceiling bookself, which couldn't hold any more books: Looking over it, is was simple to tell, that there was something different about it. Noira looked over it carefully and noticed that there was one book that was pulled half out of the case, although perfectly stable. She noted this before surveying the rest of the room. On the third wall was a massive fire place, right in the certure of the outside wall, there was a large picture frame above it. Noira recognised it as a picture of the Master of the house. She shivered involentarily. There was a large coffee table inbetween the two arm chairs and a large candelabra ontop. A large rug was centered on the floor and another candelabra was lowered from the ceiling.

Noira looked around the room a few more times, before leading Carolina over to the bookshelf. Slowly, she pulled the book further out of the bookcase and watched as the whole thing moved. Slowly,while breathing deeply she led her friend through it. Once again looking at the contents.

The furnature in the room, easily told that the room was a playroom. She looked around, and once again described this room to Carolina, being her eyes just as she had been in the last room. Looking, for at least the sixth time around the room, Noira saw a book lying open on the arm of an armchair by the fireplace. "Stay here." She whispered, without meaning to, - whisper that is - to her best friend.

She moved slowly over to the chair,wondering ifshe should pick it up. You shouldn't! You know how magical this whole house is... How can you even consider picking it up! Her mind scowled her. She sighed to herself, clearly not sure weither to turn around and leave it or not. She moved closed and read what it said on the cover. Ophelia's Diary - Keep out! Noira looked over at her friend standing where she had left her and slowly picked the diary up to read it. Curiosity killed the cat Noira! Never heard that before? Her mind ranted. She shook her head and read what was written:

October 17th
Today I am watching Keon and Laila in our mysterious playroom. Mysterious, because I don't think mother or father knows about it. Even so, we would be in trouble if they found out. Why? Because mother is very over-protective, and she says some parts of the Mansion are dangerous. I think she means about gases or germs or something, but I know better. I see father hiding bodies throughout the Mansion. I never told anyone, but I know he kills people. Just for the fun of it, I suppose. Or, maybe because he hates them for some reason. Even so, we aren't allowed in this part of the Mansion. I'm the only one who knows why, though.

I couldn't help but brag to Keon and Laila about knowing what's in these parts of the Mansion. They begged and begged me that I would show them. I didn't want them to tell, so I showed them. We walked into the lounge that I found near the Mirror Room --- we call it that because it's full of mirrors. Keon was trying to pull a book out of the bookcase, when it came out halfway, and a small door appeared! We were so surprised, but we took a look anyway. It was a small room, but big enough for the three of us and more.
Ever since, we have brought toys and such to play with in our secret playroom.

I expect that we should leave soon, since father and mother should be coming back soon. The new butler knows where we are, but doesn’t know that we shouldn’t be in this part of the Mansion. We should get going before.. Wait a second. What’s that noise? It.. Sounds as if someone is walking around in the lounge room. Oh.. Oh god… it must be father. It has to be.. .. But.. How does he know? Oh.. The butler.. Oh lord.. Keon and Laila have stopped playing.. I don’t know what will happen to us.. Laila’s started crying now, shh Laila.. It’s alright. Maybe.. If I keep writing.. He won’t find us.. Maybe.. It’s just my imagination.. But.. If not, small diary, I will leave you in a safe place.. Where the sun rises and falls.. The moon appears and the stars shine bright… Oh.. I must hurry.. the door is opening... it's..it's.. No..NO! IT CANNOT BE! .. Oh.. oh my god.. Keon.. no! Don't kill Keon.. no.. no Laila! Dear.. god.. I must leave.. but don't worry.. sweet diary.. I will come back for you...

Noira's head snapped up as she looked almost blindly ahead of her. What had happened to Ophelia? Who had killed the two girls and their beloved brother? Was it their raving father, the butler? Their mother... no it couldn't of been, she died before they did. She closed the book and threw it carelessly onto the chair, leaving it closed on the cushion. She moved swiftly over to Carolina, very dristracted. "Come on, I think we should go."

OoC: OMG. I hope that's ok, so sorry its so long. It has honestly taken me about an hour to write this... >.<

Ooc: Mmhmm.. and I helped! XD Go us! Oh and please no one going into the room to stop them.. I just want to post these few more things to show what happened.

A whirling wind entered the room, even though the room turned up in heat. Heat, as you know, because of the angry spectres. A tall, dark figure stood infront of Caroline and Noira, blocking the doorway of their only escape. The heat in the room was going up more and more, indicating that the person in the room with Noira and Caroline was angry --- very angry.

The figure shut the door with a small click, turning to face them again, a butcher knife gleaming in the room's light. The figure took a step closer to them, a evil smirk on it's face. In an instant, it was on Noira, knocking her to the floor, raising the knife up, intended on killing her.

Orion backed out of the room, then nodded. "Does anyone else want to go with us?" He asked, looking at them, his eyebrows raised.

As the wind came into the room, Noira thought there was something wrong. From the heat,sheknew that they needed to get out of there, and fast, if they were ever to get out of there alive. Just as she was away to get them to the exit, the spectres, got in the way. Noira soon stumbled and fell, not long before seeing a lovely butchers knife raised against her. Knowing she had no change all she thought about was Carolina."Run! Save yourself! Get out any way you can! Tell those I loved that I loved them! I love you! Run Carolina run!"

It was easy to tell a person to run, but when you were blind, it was harder. She turned around and walked as fast as she could, while feeling her way around the room, just when she thought shewas getting some where, and that there was a possibility that Noira was ok, she heard a scream, which resulted in her falling over something, rather odd shaped and hard. She fell to the ground with a thud and tried to get up.

The spectre brought the knife to her throat, resulting in the scream that Noira gave off. A small laugh escaped from it, as it got up rather quickly after it knew she had died and moved onto Caroline, seeing that she fell on the chair that held the diary. The diary had fallen over, the chair ontop of it.

The spectre smirked again, seeing how it would be easy to kill this useless blind, human being. It bent low, raising the knife up and bringing it down on Caroline and repeatedly stabbing her, until satisfation that she was also dead came over the spectre. The spectre knew that there wouldn't be much time until the other group came to invesigate who screamed bloody murder, so it quickly hid the bodies in the open secret playroom, sealing the door shut and putting the book back into the bookcase. It spied the fallen chair on the ground, putting the chair upright so that it would look like nothing happened. While putting the chair up and observing the place, the spectre didn't notice the diary on the floor. But between the low chair, and the chair covering the diary, it was almost impossible to tell that there was something on the floor.

In a flash, then spectre was gone, leaving only a few dropplets of blood on the floor from the dead bodies, thinking that the others would think that someone was hurt, not dead.

Orion froze as he heard a high-pitched screaming echo throughout the Mansion. He thought that something had happened to someone, but didn't think that almost everyone was in the Mirror Room. The screaming seemed awfully near, and Orion limped quickly out of the room. He paused then yelled to the others, "Guys! Come fast! Someone might need help!"

Ooc: Please please please don't let anyone characters look under the chair in the room that I just put. Something will happen later.. me and Tori [ Mrs. Murray Felton ] have planned the whole thing out, and it would ruin everything if someone looked under the chair right now. Also, no one knows about the secret playroom, so please don't anyone pull the book out until later.. again, we also have that planned.

Roma looked around the hallway looking for where the screams came from. "What was that?" She followed Orion, looking for where the scream had come from. Did a spectre hurt someone? Could we be next? She hoped that they would soon find out the answers to these questions. The last thing she wanted was someone hurt or dead.

ooc: man, you've got this down pat. That last scene was intense...i've never been in an rp where someone died before.

Nicholas nodded...whatever had happened sounded serious, and he didn't want anyone getting hurt. He followed Orion out of the room, helping him stand up a little bit.

"Which way do we go?" he asked, looking around.

Ooc: xD You can thank our *twisted* minds for that. xD Nah.. just kidding. I just wanted this to be realistic as possible. I mean, at least someone would die in a cursed/haunted mansion.. xP I gotta go soon, so I won't go that much into the room detail. I still have like, an half hour left though.

Orion thanked Nicholas with a nod, then shook his head. "..I don't know.. it sounded like it was close to here.. let's check the rooms near here," he said, opening a door to reveal a closet. ".. Not this one," he said, moving on the door across from it. He pulled it open to reveal a small bathroom. ".. Eh.. not this one either," he said, moving onto the door next to the bathroom. He pulled it open to reveal the room that *Tori* described. "It.. looks normal here," he said, preparing to shut the door, not noticing the few big drops of blood on the floor.

Orion nodded, turning to go when he spied the blood on the floor. He gasped, then dropped his hand from the doorknob, staring at the blood, then looking around the room, then down both of the hallways. "..Look.. it's blood.." He said, pointing. "..But.. no one is here.. which means.. someone must've gotten away.. but it their hurt.. they.. couldn't have gone far.. we would've seen them.. right?" He asked, speaking slowly and referring to him and Roma.

Nicholas shook his head. "Maybe they're still here...or there's a secret passageway or something..." He looked around and started examining the walls...he didn't have the slightest idea what he was looking for. "Who do you think it was?" He asked, turning around to look at Orion.

Orion shook his head. "Probably not.. theres not a secret passageway in every room, you know," he said, then thought about what Nicholas asked him. He leaned against the door, then tried not the look at the blood. "..Hoxac. If it was a spectre, it was probably Hoxac," he said automatically.

Roma gasped. "If he got to whoever was in here, he could still get to us. He could be watching us right now." She looked around, as if expecting Hoxac to be right behind them with a huge knife in his hands. But she still wasn't convinced about one thing. Why Hoxac? Couldn't it have been anyone else? "Are you sure it was Hoxac? I'm sure he wasn't the only phsyco person in this house."

As Roma was asked this question, a smile creeped upon her face. "Well, in all of the horror movies I've seen, it was always the butler. But I don't think that it's him, in this case. I, personally, have no idea at this point. The most likely suspect is Hoxac, but...I don't know. For some reason, I don't think it was him."

Orion also gave a small smile, then shook his head. "I don't think it's the butler. It we saw the person who got hurt, maybe they could tell us," he said, looking around the room again. "..But.. I think they're long gone, I suppose," he said, sighing and running his good hand through his hair.

Roma looked over at the dried blood again. "How are you so sure that it wasn't Ophelia or Annabella? In my opinion, everyone who ever stepped into this house is a suspect right now." She looked around the room again, looking for any clues that they had missed. But everything looked normal.

Orion shrugged. "You're right, Roma. Everyone is a suspect.. including every single one of us," he said, looking around the room at everyone. He turned to Nicholas, then glanced at Jakob and Elizabeth. "Were they all in the Mirror Room when me and Roma left?" He asked, knowing the answer. He knew he probably sounded stupid, but he had to cross out everyone's names first.

Still leaning against a wall, rubbing his messed up limb, Jakob exclaimed, at Orion's call:
"What do you mean? Are you accusing any of us?" just as he said that, he realised how tiring he sounded, even to himself, but he couldn't help it. He would always mess up like that, especially in tight situations. So he furthered not and waited for Orion's reply, somewhat less troubled.

Orion shook his head. "No.. I trust all of you. Would I help the Professor on picking each of you if I didn't trust you?" He asked, then shook his head again. " I just want to clear all of our names first," he said, then gesutured to himself and Roma. "I was with Roma.. we never went into this room," he said, then looked thoughtful. "Of course.. we were all present in the same room when the first scream went out.."

"It couldn't have been one of us... just couldn't!" Jakob intervened again, his voice sharp. He shook his head energetically and glanced at each and every one of them, with widened eyes, as if trying to convince themselves that he was uttering the plain truth.
"Or could it?!" he found himself saying, designatedly, leaning harder against the wall, scratching his head in bedazzlement.

"Well..." Roma said thinking. "It wasn't Orion and I as we were both together at the time and were not in this room. The rest of us were all in the mirror room at the time of the incident so it couldn't have been any of them. It had to be one of the spectres. Who else could dissappear from this room without us seeing them leave?"

"Look, can we just stick with the spectre idea? I feel uncomfortable thinking about one of us as a murderer...it's..." Nicholas shivered, something he didn't usually do unless he was cold. It made him feel uncomfortable having to think about one of the other people in the room as a murderer...he didn't feel safe as it was, and it wasn't making it any easier to think that he might have to deal with this alone. It would be easier if they could trust each other.
