It has been eighty-nine years since Voldermort has been banished by none other than Harry Potter. A new family, called Hoxac, were the second most powerful wizards and witches in Voldermort's day. Now that he's gone... they've been busy. The father, his only name is Hoxac, has killed many families in the last fifteen years. The mother went crazy, jumping off the Hoxac's mansion-almost-castle's balcony. The maid and cook both ran away, only to be captured and returned to Hoxac, eventually dying a strange, unknown death. Three of the families children also died in that mansion, all vanishing --- never to be seen again. Hoxac's brother and sister-in-law went to visit him, never to return home.

But now. Now. It's a new age. Hoxac was captured and brought to Azkaban eventually dying from insanity. His house, known as the Hoxac Mansion, was closed off to the public, only few have known about it's location.

A new professor in Hogwarts knows this location, bringing together a "search team" to investigate it. He has heard of the stories about the house, and he and the caretaker agreed to stay for one week.

The stories are gruesome, some just made up to scare little children and people --- since the Hoxac Mansion was well-known. The few people that knew about where the Mansion actually was never did want to go there --- in fear of one of the stories, about never appearing ever again, once you stepped inside the house, that is. No one wanted to go... and no one ever knew the real story about it.. until now.

Orion Rysen, nephew of the Late Hoxac, the parent's who went to visit him, is the only one who knows half the story that's behind the Evil Mansion. He was invited to the Mansion, no one knowing that he is related to the Murderer Hoxac. He wanted to go in hopes of finding out what happened to the parents --- and to his cousins.

From fights, perhaps *love*, and friends and enemies, the "search group" nicknamed "The Hoxac Group" will uncover what really happened at the house.

Please, this is an all made-up RP. No perfect people, or anything like that. All rules from SS apply. No special powers, it ruins the RP. And please, if you want to join, I'd like it if you'd be dedicated to the RP and not drop out when you just get a tiny bit confused. Sure, you can drop out, but don't through a temper-tantrum if you aren't getting the plot. People will tell you, so please don't keep asking about it.

Orion stepped away from the door as Nicholas said that. He opened his arm wide, then nodded to the door. "Be my guest," he said, referring to the ramming it part. He was kind of curious is that would work or not, and since Nicholas suggested it, he should be the one to try it.

Roma almost laughed at Nicholas's suggestion. "A battering ram? If you can find one, go ahead. I'd love to see it happen." She had no clue where he was going to get a battering ram. This attic had some pretty odd stuff but she a strong doubt that a battering ram would be amongst the items in the room.

Orion sighed, then went back to the door, seeing that Nicholas made no move to bust the door. He started loosening the hinges with his fingers, dropping a bolt after a few minutes.

He moved on to the next one, then dropped the other bolt. The door was still staying closed, even though it was suppossed to fall, and Orion found that a bit strange. He looked around, then nodded to Roma or Jakob or both. "Come on, we can tug at this until it opens," he said, nodding towards the door.

"Well it would help if we could find a battering ram, but anything else would work just fine..." Nicholas said, looking around for something heavy. He walked around the room, examining items, not really finding anything of much use. "How about this?" He asked, putting his hand on a desk with wheels on it. He had watched as Orion loosened the hinges on the door. "We can roll this into the door a few times and see what happens." He said shrugging his shoulders. None of his other ideas had worked out too well before, but maybe this one might.

Orion shook his head. "No, something is blocking it," he stopped, then grabbed the door on both sides, thinking that if he tugged it, nothing would happen.

He tugged the door really hard, the door giving away quickly, and Orion flying back, falling on his back. He laid there for a few moments, then groaned and sat up.

The door that just got tugged away revealed that nothing was behind it. Nothing pushing it, or blocking it. Just.. nothing. It also revealed some more stairs. Orion stared in surprise, then got up and started towards the stairs, grabbing hold of the banister again and glancing back at everyone.

Roma followed up the stairs after Orion, also surprised about them. More stairs? How many stairs are there in this mansion? The mansion seemed a lot bigger than she thought it was. It hadn't looked that big from the outside when she had first seen it. She would have probably ended up punching something if there were more stairs after this set.

"What is up with this?" Jakob let out, staring at the stairs in awe. He could almost perceive the existence of a room beyond the door that had gotten them in such a trouble... and yet nothing. It just seemed more and more like a humongous mouse-trap to him. He sighed, feeling his cheek, and followed Orion.

Orion stopped at the top step, staring into the vast room. Nothing was in there, except a beautiful stain-glass window with a big rose on it. He stared at the rose for a second, before turning towards them. "..Now I remember.." he whispered, moving towards the stairs again. "It's not safe to be in here," he said, then started down the steps. "I'll tell you in the attic."

"So what's up there?" Nicholas asked once he saw people return down the stairs. He had decided not to go...he'd had enough stairs for one day, anyway. "Anything interesting?"

Orion shook his head. "Just a stain glass window," he said, then nodded. "I remember though..why Hoxac started killing non-stop," he added, then nodded to the history book he had been carrying around. "Plus.. this told me some clues." He hesitated, before continuing. "Hoxac had a secret affair with the nanny. He would meet with her up in the Rose Room, without telling Annabella what he was doing." Orion stopped, then sighed. "Annabella found out, confronting them in the Rose room. Hoxac, of course, denied everything and left the room quickly, leaving Annabella and the nanny, an African American woman by the name of Agali, alone."

Orion looked up the stairs then shivered. "No one saw the nanny again. People had said that Annabella had pushed Agali out the window, to her death, hid the body, then repaired the stained window. I'm thinking that we can figure that out, or, once we figure out what happened in this mansion, that would be revealed as well."

Jakob stared as Orion told the tale, with hungry eyes.
"Yes, but I don't get it... that is why he killed nonstop?! Because of the nanny?" he almost shouted, feeling his hair, impatiently. There was something missing... missing from the puzzle. Jakob fretted, watching Orion, his mind now concentrated on the history book.

Orion shrugged. "That's what the story goes by. I'm thinking that there's something else that ticked in his mind. Something.. more disturbing." He turned towards Jakob, then stared at him. "Are you okay?" He asked, noting that he was sounding nearly hysterical again.

"Uhuh. I'm ok. A little cold, perhaps." he said, stifling a shiver. A dewed, kind of wet draft went straight past them, turning the atmosphere even gloomier. "So what about the history book, then? You said something about some clues there?" Jakob asked, getting closer to Orion.

Nicholas sat down on a chair and started looking around the room. Who would get that ****** off over a nanny? He thought to himself, trying to fit things together. He shook his head. "We'll just have to keep finding out more..." He said, sort of perkily. They were going to die in here eventually, so why not?

Orion nodded. "Yeah, it says facts about the house, the people living it in.." he paused, then got the book out. "This," he said, presenting it to Jakob. He also felt the draft, looking back at the stairs again.

"Okay. So just because he couldn't have a little 'fun' with the nanny anymore, he started killing everyone else?" Roma asked, slightly confused. She shook her head and sat down in one of the chairs. "Everyone who ever stepped into this mansion are officially phsyco," she mumbled half to herself.

Orion shrugged. "Maybe he got angry at Annabella," he suggested, then added, "Or his children. The children are probably a big part in this, you know." He stopped, then opened his eyes wide. "Or maybe it had something to do with the nanny. Something.. evil.. disturbing. Something about her death made Hoxac tick. Whether.. it was.. love.. or..something even bigger. Like, money, or...or..children!" Orion was getting more and more into this, thinking that he had a lead.

"So now you're saying that one of the children might be Hoxac and the nanny's? This guy was pimp," Roma said, trying not to laugh. She was still slightly confused but was starting to agree that the children played a big part in everything. "So...were the children alive when the nanny got killed?"

Nicholas looked confused. "Uh, dude, not sure i'm following you here..." He realized how stupid that sounded but it was the truth. He wasn't quite sure where Orion was going with this...coud it be that the nanny was really an evil psycho killer? He scratched his head again and leaned back in his chair, savoring the moment that they weren't being attacked by spectres...although he wasn't sure it was going to last very long.

Orion shook his head at Roma. "No, the children were definately Annabella's," he said, then glanced at Nicholas. "I'm saying that maybe Agali was carrying Hoxac's child when she got murdered by Annabella, thus making Hoxac insane because not only did his lover die, but also his other child," he paused, then nodded. "Hoxac might have went insane because of what Annabella did.." He stopped, then nodded. "Yes, this seems to fit all together."

"But he'd rather forsake his other three children in the stead of this one servant's progeniture... it's just mental. What an idiot!" Jakob grunted menacingly, feeling terribly sorry for Annabella and her position in all this story, if it was indeed her veridic situation.

"Errrr...sure," Roma said, not knowing whether to agree or not. It made sense to her, it was just very...awkward. "I guess it does explain the reason why Annabella would kill herself. But what about the children? How could they have died? Did Hoxac kill them also because the nanny and their supposed child were killed?"

Orion shook his head. "Who's to say that Hoxac even killed his children?" He pointed out, nodding. "It could very much be someone else. But we don't know yet. We'll just have to figure it out," he paused, then looked around. "Is everyone with me on this one?"

"I'm with you buddy." Nicholas said, raising his hand. He wasn't quite sure exactly what he was with him on, but he figured it might keep Orion from thinking he was going crazy or something. "Maybe it was Annabella in a fit of jealousy? But that would be stupid...why would she kill her own children?"

Orion shook his head. "Maybe she was a weeping woman.." He trailed off, then shook his head again. "But I'm with you, that is crazy. I don't think she would kill her own children." He looked around the room, then shivered. "It's getting cold up here," he murmured, going over and taking a blanket to wrap around himself, since his shirt was basically ripped up.
