It has been eighty-nine years since Voldermort has been banished by none other than Harry Potter. A new family, called Hoxac, were the second most powerful wizards and witches in Voldermort's day. Now that he's gone... they've been busy. The father, his only name is Hoxac, has killed many families in the last fifteen years. The mother went crazy, jumping off the Hoxac's mansion-almost-castle's balcony. The maid and cook both ran away, only to be captured and returned to Hoxac, eventually dying a strange, unknown death. Three of the families children also died in that mansion, all vanishing --- never to be seen again. Hoxac's brother and sister-in-law went to visit him, never to return home.

But now. Now. It's a new age. Hoxac was captured and brought to Azkaban eventually dying from insanity. His house, known as the Hoxac Mansion, was closed off to the public, only few have known about it's location.

A new professor in Hogwarts knows this location, bringing together a "search team" to investigate it. He has heard of the stories about the house, and he and the caretaker agreed to stay for one week.

The stories are gruesome, some just made up to scare little children and people --- since the Hoxac Mansion was well-known. The few people that knew about where the Mansion actually was never did want to go there --- in fear of one of the stories, about never appearing ever again, once you stepped inside the house, that is. No one wanted to go... and no one ever knew the real story about it.. until now.

Orion Rysen, nephew of the Late Hoxac, the parent's who went to visit him, is the only one who knows half the story that's behind the Evil Mansion. He was invited to the Mansion, no one knowing that he is related to the Murderer Hoxac. He wanted to go in hopes of finding out what happened to the parents --- and to his cousins.

From fights, perhaps *love*, and friends and enemies, the "search group" nicknamed "The Hoxac Group" will uncover what really happened at the house.

Please, this is an all made-up RP. No perfect people, or anything like that. All rules from SS apply. No special powers, it ruins the RP. And please, if you want to join, I'd like it if you'd be dedicated to the RP and not drop out when you just get a tiny bit confused. Sure, you can drop out, but don't through a temper-tantrum if you aren't getting the plot. People will tell you, so please don't keep asking about it.

"Em... ok run!" Jakob said, grabbing Roma's arm and heading away, however not too quickly, letting the others gain ground, ready to finish the armours off.

Roma stopped Jakob when they could hardly see the suits of armor. "Wait! We don't have to go that far. The others will finished the suits off before they get to us. Or at least, that's what we have to hope. If we go to far, they'll just turn back to the others."

Elizabeth grabbed the tapestry from the pipe and tugged. Water gushed forth completely dousing the suits of armour. She blinked. Nothing was happening. The suits were gettting wet, but they weren't rusting.
"Oh god!" she whispered.

"Yeah, we're far." Jakob nodded, starting to go back, screaming 'Junks!' as he did so. It felt all but awkward to be trudging towards deadly peril, but revigorating at the same time. Soon he had lost track of his walking and turned in exactly on a suit of armour, the closest to them two, the one which he had hit with his foot. The suit directioned a blow in his own leg with its metal limb, and Jakob moaned in pain.
"Hurry!" he bid Orion and Elisabeth, now unsure whether he would be fast enough to escape this.

Roma gasped as the suit of armor hit Jakob in the leg. "Oh no! Jakob are you okay?" She didn't wait for an answer. She had to take Jakob away from the suits of armor. "Okay, lean up on me." She took his arm and put it around herself so that he could walk easier. They both walked as fast as they could away from the suits of armor until they were out of sight. Panting, she set Jakob down. "Is it broken?"

Orion tugged at the torch he was holding, but it somehow had gotten stuck in the chair he was sitting in. Since it was one of the stone-ancient chairs, it wasn't setting on fire, but the suits of armors were gaining on Jakob and Roma. Orion tugged really hard, and the torch came out seemingly easy for the amount of power that Orion put into the tugging. He flew alittle through the air, landing a few feet behind the suits of armor. They didn't hear him, but Orion couldn't get up since he landed on his bad arm. He struggled a bit, then made up his mind. The couch was still near them, so he torched the carpet on fire, the carpet going up in flames as if it had gunpowder on it. It probably did.. seeing how many people Hoxac was murdering.. they probably tried to fight back.. and dropped the gunpowder.. if they used guns. He thought to himself, shielding his face from the flames as the flames went up with the suits of armors. Since the heat was so intense, then rusting had already started on the suits. They slowed down, eventually so slow that they couldn't really move at all.

Orion was such in awe about it, he didn't notice that the flames were spreading towards him and the others in the room. He rolled away a bit, but the flames were coming. He struggled to his feet by using a small table in the hallway, then tried to look for Roma and Jakob. "Guys! Go down to the hallway.. take a left.. theres a door. A big, oak door. The first one after you take the corner. Go in there. We'll be there in a few minutes!" He yelled at Roma and Jakob, shielding his mouth from the smoke. He moved alittle ways towards Elizabeth and Nicholas, then gestured out. "Come on! We have to move!" He yelled, trying to get away from the flames. He knew that once Hoxac knew about this, he'd be angry.. and probably put out the flames. He knew that there wasn't a bit of a chance that the fire would let them escape. But they needed to escape for the sake of their lives.

"Thanks." he told Roma, attempting a smile. "I bet it's not broken, I'm a tough cookie, you see." he continued joking, though the pain in his leg let him know just how serious his injury could have been.
Even from where they were, they could see the fire... the rustling armours...
"Well, I was lame, but it was worth it..." Jakob added, as if trying to achieve comfort. "You heard Orion. Let's go. Do you think you can still help me a little?"

Roma smiled at him. "Of course." She helped him up and led him to the big oak doors. Opening them with her free hand, she took Jakob inside and set him down in there. "I figured you've suffered worse with playing quidditch and all. But I doubt you've ever been hit in the leg with a piece of metal. It must really kill." She sat down next to him and sighed.

"Yeah, well, anything for the cause. For instance, now that I think of it knowing the action there made Hoxac angry just positively makes the pain much bearable. In fact, I think I'm fine now..." he tried to get up, but landed right back, frowning a little.
"At least you're here with me. The Lord knows where else that junk may have hit me if you weren't there to help." Jakob said, innocently looking at her.

Roma nodded. "It was nothing, really. I would never save myself over someone else. Especially you," she said, turning away to hide her blushing. She didn't know what she would do without Jakob there with her. The search team just wouldn't have been the same without him.

Inside the room that Roma and Jakob were were alot of mirrors. Also known as the mirror room. A gleaming chandelier was in the center of the circular room, and mirrors lined the walls. It seemed impossible to tell which doors led where, since the doors were mirrors, and all the mirrors looked the same. The floor was polished, and no dust was to be seen. It seemed as if it just got cleaned.

Orion looked at Elizabeth and Nicholas, then gestured to the other part of the hall. "Come on.." he said, looking back, having an odd feeling that if they stayed alittle more longer, then some demon of a host would show up. He looked at Elizabeth's gash, cradling his useless arm again, looking concerned. "Are you sure your okay?" He asked, seriously.

"That's too sweet a thing to say. You should definitely save yourself over me. God knows I would want that..." Jakob said, wondering what it would have been if he had met her outside this creepy, deadly place, in times of peace, afar from these walls. He noticed she was looking at him slightly oddly, too, so he moved his glance to the room they were in, feeling a bit embarrassed:
"Wow... what is up with this room?" he said, staring at the mirrors.

"I don't know. It's like a hunted house of mirrors or something. It kind of scares me," she replied, looking up at all the mirrors. It looked very freaky. It was like one of those rooms inside a muggle carnival or something. She wondered what was on the other side of the doors, knowing that they would soon have to find out.

Nicholas coughed his way out of the room, Elizabeth and Orion at his side. He noticed that the gash on Elizabeth's arm wasn't getting any better, so he took off his jacket, putting it around her shoulders. "Where to, captain?" He asked Orion, looking around, still coughing from the smoke billowing out of the room.

Orion nodded down the hall, staggering a bit, and limping. He turned a corner, then looked down the hall, seeming to count the doors. He walked over to one of the big ones, then let his bad arm go, using his good arm to open it.

They went into the room of the Mirrors, a circular room with mirrors all around. Orion limped in, glancing briefly at the chandelier for a minute, then looked around and noticed that Jakob and Roma had followed his directions. "..Good. You're all here.." He murmured, thinking they'd be safe for a while.

He was feel tired, and he knew that the day had probably gone by already. Plus, the hallways have grown darker and darker. Orion looked around, then asked, "I think we should try to sleep. I'll go get some food," he said, turning back towards the open door, where Nicholas and Elizabeth were still standing.

"Sleep sounds good right now." So did food, but Nicholas wasn't about to say it. He knew he was the only hungry one there, but that was just because he was always hungry. He leaned against a mirror and yawned, wondering where they were going to sleep...back in the bedrooms, or in here?

Orion paused before going out, then added, "I'll bring in some blankets, and pillows," he said, thinking that he'd get some food out of the small kitchens around the Mansion, and doing the same with the sleeping things. He wanted someone to go with him, but he didn't want to ask..he was stubborn like that.

"Would you like me to come?" Roma asked, getting up to stretch her legs. She wasn't feeling that tired anyways. And she would have loved to explore a bit. The mansion did scare her, but after spending so much time in here already, she was used to everything. She didn't know how she was going to get used to her normal job after this was over.

"It's fine," Roma replied, walking out of the room and into the hallway. She looked at both sides of the hall. "So do you know which way we're going? Or are we supposed to walk around blindly?" It would be nice if they had a clue as to where a kitchen might be. They also needed blankets and pillows for the night.

Orion shook his head as he closed the Mirror Room's door. "..Yes. Hoxac loved food.. so he had many kitchens around here. There was one main one, but there are smaller ones scattered around. We just have to check," he said, as he limped into one room, hugging his bad arm to his chest. He came out a few minutes later holding a pillow. "I found some blankets and pillows.. though.. we may need more," he said, putting the pillow on the ground.

Ooc: I gotta go catch some winks. I'll be back tomorrow.. around noon Eastern Time.

"Oh, okay. Hoxac loved food?" Roma asked, curiously. Was he like, a cannibal or something? Did he eat his victims? Just thinking about it disgusted her. "Yeah, we probably will need some more. We'll check the other rooms while looking for kitchens. You lead the way."

OoC: Yeah, I should be getting some sleep too. I have a field hockey tournament tomorrow morning so I should be back before 2 PM Eastern Time.

Nicholas looked around at his surroundings. "Huh. Would you look at that? It really was a house of mirrors the whole time." He said, finding it quite funny. He picked a mirror and started examining his reflection. Even though he looked bruised up, and his hair had gone crazy with the whole smoke thing, he thought he looked an action-hero kind of cool.

"So how much farther have we gotten with the mystery?" He asked Jakob and Elizabeth, wondering how long it was going to be until they could leave. Actually, he sort of didn't want to leave it was all so exciting.

"Em... I honestly don't know. All I can assume is that Hoxac is angry at the moment. Very angry..." Jakob told Nicholas, glancing into open air. He thought about the abhorrable man and his threats. It just made him want to stick his working leg into one of the mirrors, preferably one shaped like Hoxac's ugly head.
"What could he do next..." Jakob contemplated aloud, mesmerized by the chandelier that seemed to dwindle above them, like a sign of doom.

Orion nodded. "I don't know why.. he just liked to eat. He.. never seemed to gain any weight though," he said, in a confused voice. He shook his head, then limped back into the room and got some more blankets and pillows. He came out a minute later, then nodded towards the huge oak door that they just came from. "We should just go tell them that we may take a while to get some food," he said, limping slowly towards the Mirror Room and opening the door.

He went into the room halfway, then looked at everyone, dropping the pillows and blankets. "Roma and I might take a while to get food.. we have to find it first," he said to them, looking back to see if Roma was coming in or not.
