Alrighty, so this is my first go at a fanfic and I hope I don't disappoint. This story adds a character to the Wizarding World. It will stay as close to canon as possible but will have to adjust a bit to the new character. This story also shows a new side to Lupin. The main character is Sirius' daughter and Lupin's Goddaughter, which also brings me to the fact that Lupin wasn't ever homeless or alone... At least not in my story... EVERYTHING in the Wizarding world belongs to the amazing, incredible JK Rowling, except of course the character I invented. The locations, people, etc. are hers and only hers. So, here goes.

Prologue:
On a dark and misty night, in Surrey, a baby boy was being taken to his Aunt and Uncle’s house. His parents had just been murdered by the greatest evil ever seen, and he was now an orphan. But this is not a story about Harry James Potter, The Boy Who Lived. This story takes place a few hours later, in Shell Cottage, where a baby girl was being transferred to her Godfather’s.
A tabby looking cat with squared markings shaping her eyes stood on the corner of Shell Cottage and Sandy Lane. She had been on that same corner for a little over an hour. Glancing around, she shivered once and then rested her eyes upon a deserted patch of pavement right under a lamppost. After what seemed like ten minutes, there was a flicker of movement from a nearby bush. A man in long dress-robes and a pointed wizard’s hat stepped out into the light and clicked a cigarette lighter look alike. The closest light went out. After clicking it multiple times, the whole street was completely black. In the strange looking man’s other arm was a bundle of pink blankets with the softest sound of heavy breathing. The tabby cat transformed, for a second time that night, into her “human form.”
“Good Evening, Professor Dumbledore,” stated the witch as she walked up to him, her emerald robes billowing out behind her.
“Good Evening, or shall I say morning, Professor McGonagall,” smiled the tall wizard. “Long time, no see,” he chuckled.
“Albus, is it true? Did Sirius really betray them? His best friend, Albus?”
“I’m afraid the truth is not always easily seen, Minerva. We may never know what has truly happened. But, what I do know is that Sirius was found in a street with twelve muggles dead and only a finger left of Peter Pettigrew. He has been taken to Azkaban, and Amelia, going after him, found herself in the crossfire. I don’t know if Sirius will ever be able to forgive himself for that.”
“What will happen to Emily?”
“That, Minerva, is what brings us to another neighborhood tonight. I think it will be best if we take her to her godfather’s house. I think he will want to take her.”
“First Harry and now Emily; what has the world come to?”
“Ahh, Minerva, let’s not dwell upon the unpleasant. Once again, think of what has happened. He is gone, for now at least.”
“So, you don’t think he’s gone for good?”
“Only time can tell. Shall we get her inside?” asked Dumbledore, indicating the pink bundles in his hand.
The witch nodded, and they glided down the street. As they walked, they felt the light breeze linger in the air. The smell of the ocean swirled around them, stinging their nostrils a bit. Staying on the out-skirt of the street, they rounded right before stopping in front of a white cottage with flowers outlining the walk to the door. There was a dim light through one of the upstairs’ windows. Dumbledore and McGonagall made their way to the door, then knocked three times. While they waited, Dumbledore hummed a show tune and McGonagall stared at the baby they were about to hand off. They heard footsteps echo through the house, lights flipping on as they grew louder. The footsteps stopped and a man’s eyes could be seen peeping out the curtain. After realizing whom it was, a mediocre, straggly man with wild hair and deep circles under his green eyes opened the door.
“Albus, Minerva, what brings you to my neck of the woods?” asked the man, eyeing the two. He then noticed the pink blankets. His eyes widened and he nearly choked. “No, it can’t be. There’s been a mistake. Please tell me it’s not that, anything but that. They’re not...”
Albus held up his hand. “Dear boy, we can’t afford to lose you too, please calm down, Remus. Everything will be all right. May we enter?” Albus asked.
The man named Remus motioned for them to enter. After closing the door behind them, he made his way to the living room. Minerva and Albus sat side-by-side on the long couch while Remus took the armchair opposite them. Minerva took the baby girl from Albus’ hands and rocked her gently. Remus leaned his head back against the chair; he looked ghastly. He had turned pale white and was shaking slightly. Opening his eyes, he looked over at the pink blankets where he knew his goddaughter was hiding.
“Remus, we need to talk about a few things,” stated Dumbledore softly, but sternly. Remus nodded so Dumbledore continued. “Sirius was found in the middle of a street with his wand; twelve muggles are dead, but that’s not all. Not only muggles were in that street.” Albus was staring into Remus’ eyes with a sad expression. He felt sorry for Remus Lupin; he was about to tell him that he has lost all of his best friends—James, Peter, and even Sirius in some ways. Remus nodded, as if knowing what was about to be said. “It was believed that Peter Pettigrew searched for Sirius tonight to kill him for his betrayal against James and Lily. All they found of Pettigrew was his finger. Also, Amelia; she heard that Sirius might have been in trouble. She went after him and got blasted in the crossfire. I’m so sorry, Remus, I know this is difficult for you,” Dumbledore continued.
Silence followed after Dumbledore finished. Remus had tears welling up in his eyes. He couldn’t believe it. Prongs was dead. Lily was dead. Wormtail was dead. Amelia was dead. Padfoot was in Azkaban for causing the deaths. Everything was crumbling around him. He let a few tears escape before wiping them off. McGonagall took a tissue from the inside of her robes and sniffled behind it. She, too, was crying. Remus got out of his chair and knelt down in front of Professor McGonagall, looking at his goddaughter intently. A pale pink hand dropped out of the pink bundles, and Remus reached up, putting his forefinger inside it. The little fist closed around Remus’ finger.
“Albus, what happens to Emily?” asked Remus, looking up. He searched the old man’s face.
“She doesn’t have any living grandparents, Remus. She is your goddaughter, so I thought we might give you a chance to take her. If you do not wish to take responsibility, we understand and will take her to an orphanage first thing tomorrow morning,” stated Dumbledore.
“Of course I’ll take her,” said Remus without thinking.
“She is going to be a great responsibility, Remus, are you absolutely positive?” asked Professor McGonagall.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way, Minerva,” stated Remus determinedly.
“It’s settled then. I will need you to sign a few papers, just saying that you will be her guardian and what not, and we will be on our way,” smiled Dumbledore.
Remus nodded his head and motioned for the old wizard to follow him to the kitchen to sign the papers. McGonagall stayed in the living room with the baby girl sound asleep. Flipping the lights as he went, the tabby looking man sat at the head of the table, Dumbledore sitting on his left. Dumbledore rummaged in his cloak for a second, then pulled out a long stick. With a flick of his wand, some papers, a quill, and ink appeared. Remus looked into Dumbledore’s eyes and had the feeling that he was being x-rayed; like Dumbledore could see right through him. The old wizard gave him a small smile, nodding a bit.
“Sign here and here.” Dumbledore indicated to two lines then pushed the papers towards Remus.
Remus signed the papers, and with the flick of his wand, Dumbledore made the papers once again disappear.
“Is that all?” Remus asked.
“Yes, that will be all for now. I believe the ministry is looking over Amelia’s will and then they will be in touch shortly. Now, I believe we will let you and your goddaughter get some rest. Best wishes and if you were to need anything, please don’t hesitate to send an owl.” The old wizard pushed his chair out and stood up. Walking into the other room, he stated, “Minerva, I think it may be time for us to leave and not intrude on Mr. Lupin any longer.”
Standing up, the petite witch looked over to Lupin and took half a step. Remus met her the rest of the way and took the baby girl in his hands, balancing all of her weight evenly. The tabby wizard walked his guests to the door and bid them a goodnight. He watched as the two disappeared down the dark street. Closing the blinds, Remus Lupin walked up his stairs to his bedroom, flipping lights off as he went.
Pulling out his wand with his right hand, as his left was preoccupied, he waved it. A blur of pink and green scurried around the room, and after a few seconds, the silence prevailed. Trudging over to the pink crib by his bed, he sat the pink bundles down. He pulled a green blanket, which was engraved with ‘Emily J. R. A. S. Black,’ over the side of the crib and tucked Emily into it. Sighing, he sat down on the edge of his bed. Taking off his worn out tennis shoes, he glanced at the clock. It was after 2AM. It’s been a long day, he thought. Turning the lamp by his bed off, he lay back on his pillows and fell asleep to the soft breathing of the other life that he vowed to protect.
On her windowsill was an owl. But it wasn’t just any owl; it was an eagle owl, an eagle owl that looked all too familiar. Cocking her head to the side, Emily opened her window and the owl lifted its leg, which had a letter tied to it. She undid the letter and the owl flew off. Emily watched after it for a minute before closing the window and sitting on her bed, still enveloped in her towel. She opened the letter, which read:
EBony,
Happy Christmas! I hope you’re getting all that you’ve hoped for. I got you a little something and wanted to give it to you in person. Meet me where we met over the summer tomorrow night at sunset.
DaMien
Emily read the note with a half frown on her face. She didn’t know if she should feel excited about it or if she should just blow him off. Emily gently placed the letter on her bed and made her way to her closet. She picked out a pair of red skinny jeans and a green tank top. She fished out her matching red jacket from her dresser and her intimates. After getting dressed, she returned to the bathroom and finished her hair and make up. She pulled up a few strands of her red curls on the side and pinned them there. Her eyes popped against the green top. She smiled at herself and then went back to her closet to find some matching jewelry. She glanced at her bed and the note from Draco. She read it again and then stuffed it into her pocket. She grabbed one of her suitcases and put some jeans and shirts inside. She slid her feet into her rain boots and glanced around her room one more time to make sure she didn’t forget anything. She noticed something leaning against her wall in the corner. Sighing, she grabbed it. She put it in her purse, which already had an enchantment on it to make it seem small, though you could fit every thing your heart desired in it. She wasn’t sure what made her do it, but, for some reason, she felt a little happier inside.
“You ready to go?” she asked Remus as she walked into the kitchen. He was reading a letter. “Who’s that from?”
“Oh, just the Morgan’s. They were replying to my letter from earlier.” Remus quickly folded the letter back up. He looked guilty to Emily, but she let it pass. If he wanted to tell her, he would. “I need to grab something, and then we can go.” Remus passed Emily and jogged up the stairs.
Emily stared after him in wonder, and then whispered, ”Okay...”
He returned moments later with nothing.
“I thought you had to grab something,” Emily accused.
“Huh? Oh, I, er, I did. I...had to grab my wallet. Okay, I’m ready. Do you have all of your bags?” Remus asked.
Emily looked him up and down, wondering what on earth he was hiding from her. Instead of pestering him about it, she picked up her bag of presents and suitcase. Remus led the way to the door and Emily followed.
“How are we traveling?” Emily asked him.
Glancing behind him, Remus replied, “Driving. Is that okay with you?”
“Sounds fun,” Emily replied with a grin. “It reminds me of our road trips when I was younger.”
“That’s what I was thinking, too.”
They drove down the countryside. Emily wasn’t sure if Remus even knew where he was going, but if he didn’t, he didn’t show any worry. He seemed happy for once. They bobbed their heads to the music in the background. Emily watched the houses and hills pass by.
“How come you don’t play your guitar anymore?” Remus asked, bringing her out of her reverie.
“I guess I just haven’t had time to lately,” Emily replied. She formed a frown as she thought about it. Her and her guitar used to be inseparable. Mr. Morgan had learned to play when he was a teenager and taught Emily how to play when she was six. She played ever since, except for lately. So much drama had happened that she just didn’t have the heart to play. Remus hummed to the song that was on the radio. It was Celestina Warbeck’s song, “Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love.” Emily giggled as he started singing along. He glanced at her and winked, which caused her to giggle some more.
It was around two hours or so later when Emily started getting anxious. She played with the hem of her tank top, and then she twirled the zipper to her jacket in her fingers.
“What’s up, Ems?” Remus asked, glancing at her.
“I, er, nothing. Just excited is all,” she replied with a quick smile, turning to look out of her window.
“Well, we’re almost there, so you won’t have to wait much longer.” Remus patted her knee.
“Great,” Emily said.
It was twenty minutes later when Remus and Emily pulled into the drive of the Burrow. She smiled at the homey look of the Weasley’s home. Remus parked the car right beside the chicken coop. He turned the car off and opened his door.
“Coming?” he asked her with a grin.
“Duh!” Emily said, returning his grin. She undid her seat belt and propped open her door. She stretched her legs and walked to the back of the car. Remus pulled out her suitcase and handed it to her. She took it and then grabbed her bag of presents.
“Emily!” Ginny squealed from the doorway of her home. Emily grinned and waved.
“Hey, Gin!” Emily and Remus started to the crooked looking home. Emily assumed that it must be held up by magic, because without magic, there was no doubt in her mind that it would fall over. Emily gave Ginny a hug and Ginny grabbed Emily’s suitcase.
“Come on in, guys! Welcome to the Burrow!” exclaimed Ginny, motioning Emily and Remus to come in.
Remus and Emily followed Ginny through the living room and into the kitchen. In passing, Emily noticed the coolest clock she had ever seen. “Wow, Gin. Your house is amazing!” Emily said, looking around.
“Thanks, I know it’s not much, but it’s home,” Ginny sighed.
“Oh, hello! You must be Emily, and this must be her guardian, Professor Lupin,” smiled a plump witch with auburn hair.
“Please, call me Remus,” said Remus with his hand extended. The woman took it, smiling.
“I’m Molly, Ginny’s mother. Arthur isn’t home yet; he’s at the Ministry,” said Molly. She gave Emily a hug and fidgeted with her apron. Emily had never known what a mom would be like, but she had a feeling that she would have liked it if they were anything like Molly Weasley. “Welcome to our home,” she smiled.
“Thank you, Mrs. Weasley.” Emily smiled at her and then grinned at Ginny.
“Emily, I should be getting back if I don’t want to be late to the Morgan’s,” Remus said, looking at Emily. She frowned at him.
“Okay, Rems. Are you sure you’ll be okay for the night?”
“I’m a grown man, Ems. I’m sure I can handle one night on my own.” Emily grinned at him.
“Right, Rems. Of course you can,” Emily laughed.
“Oh shut it,” Remus laughed.
“I’ll walk you out, Rems,” Emily said, still laughing lightly.
“Oh, no I’ll be fine. You have fun with the Weasleys and call me if there’s an emergency. I love you, kiddo.” Remus gave Emily a hug and kissed her hair. She pulled away and noticed Ginny tucking something into her pocket.
“I love you too, Rems. Give the baby a kiss for me and tell the Morgan’s I’ll come by later in the week to see them,” Emily said.
“You got it. Be good, and do whatever Mr. and Mrs. Weasley tell you.”
“You got it,” she said, grinning, repeating his earlier words.
Remus started back the way they had come in and disappeared around the corner.
“Ginny, why don’t you show Emily where she’ll be staying so she can put her bags down,” Molly said.
“Right, Mum. This way, Ems,” Ginny said, motioning with her hand for her to follow. Ginny started for the stairs in the other room.
Emily, bag in hand, started up the stairs. They stopped at the first landing, and Ginny opened the door. Ginny held it open for her, her arm outstretched as if this were a show room. Emily walked in and looked around. It was homey and cute. She looked out of the bedroom window and saw a field with Quidditch posts. Emily smiled. It was one of the coolest houses she’d ever seen.
“So, are Fred and George out and about?” Emily asked as she surveyed the room.
“Er, no. They’re in their room,” Ginny said with a grin. Emily looked away from her, blushing slightly.
“Ginny! Can you go feed the chickens real quick?” Molly yelled up the stairs.
“Oh come on, Mum! I have a guest!” Ginny yelled back.
“It won’t take you long! And it’s your turn! Now scoot!” Molly yelled back. Ginny huffed, but left the room with one last apologetic look to Emily. Emily stifled a giggle and watched Ginny’s mane of red hair fly around the door. She heard the creaking of the stairs under Ginny’s feet and then the slam of a door.
“Ginerva Molly Weasley, you will not slam that door again!” Molly yelled from the kitchen.
Emily stifled another giggle and then tiptoed up the stairs. She walked up to the next landing. Emily knocked lightly on the door, hoping it was the twins’ room. She saw the knob twist and held her breath. Peeping out of the doorway was—
“George!” Emily exclaimed in a whisper.
“Hey, Ems! Looks like you finally made it! Come on in!” George said, opening the door wider for her. He closed the door behind her. Emily looked around at the twin beds. She noticed that Fred wasn’t here.
“Fred went to feed the ghoul we have in the attic,” George explained.
“Oh, right,” Emily said awkwardly. “So, happy Christmas!” Emily said after a few seconds of silence.
George chuckled. “Yeah, happy Christmas!” He stepped across the room to where Emily was standing and gave her a hug.
The hug wasn’t one of those two seconds hugs where you touch the person and then let go. They held onto each other for a long while. George’s arms were wrapped around Emily’s waist and hers were around his neck. Her head was on his chest and his face was slightly buried in her hair. She could feel his lips in her hair, and her stomach was doing somersaults. She was happy, but she was also sad. George wasn’t hers. George made that clear when he chose Angelina, he made that clear when he told her goodbye in the Hospital Wing. She felt like pulling away from him, telling him about these points, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She couldn’t bring herself to leave his arms, his warmth, his love. She never wanted to leave his arms, but then the door busted open and in walked Fred. George and Emily broke apart quickly.
Hello Emily. What a fantastic post! I don't know what to say, and what part to say I like the most. Sometimes you just have to say it was all great. I do love the warmth Emily and Remus have towards each other. And I do wonder what letter Remus was reading. I'm not going to guess, though! And I bet I know what's goint to happen IF Emily meets Draco. But, again, I'm not going to say anything. Great post Emily, I'll be watching for your next one.

“I’m good. And you?” he asked with a smirk, glancing between her and George.
“Er, yeah, I’m great! How’s your break so far?” she asked.
“Oh, you know, a little boring. Nothing exciting has happened, not yet anyway.”
“That’s too bad,” she smiled.
Fred started laughing and Emily and George just stared at him as if he were insane.
“You look so guilty!” he snickered, pointing at Emily. Emily blushed and shoved Fred gently, playfully. He stopped laughing after a few more minutes. Emily just glared at him while color rose to her cheeks.
“Er, I’m going to go find Gin,” Emily said quietly, making her way to the door.
“No need! I’m here!” said Ginny, storming through the door.
“Oh, hey, Gin,” Emily said awkwardly.
“You look guilty of something. What’s up?” Ginny asked.
“I told you,” Fred snickered. Emily rolled her eyes and George’s ears went red.
“So, subject change. When do you want to open your presents?” Emily asked.
“You didn’t have to get us anything, Ems,” George said.
“Oh, shut it. We’re not having this conversation. Of course I did.”
“Er, we can do it now if you want!” Ginny exclaimed. She was obviously excited. “We should go down to the tree and open them there. Mind you, it will be a little cold, so you might want to wear a jacket,” Ginny said.
“That sounds great, let’s go!” Fred exclaimed, shuffling them out of the door. George picked up a rectangular package from his nightstand and followed Emily out of the door. She stopped on the first landing and picked up her bag of presents.
Emily shivered once when they first walked outside, but other than that, she didn’t find it very cold. Ginny was bundled up in a sweater and two jackets while the twins both sported a sweater and matching jackets. Ginny was basically jumping up and down with excitement when she reached the tree. Emily had no idea what was up with her. Fred and George chuckled lightly at their sister’s enthusiasm.
Fred spread out a few blankets for everyone to sit on, so they all sat down Indian style. George put the package in the middle and Emily followed his example by dumping the other three presents out of her bag and into the middle too. They all looked at each other waiting for someone to say something, and then they all started laughing at each other.
“Okay, you guys first!” Emily announced through breaths. Everyone settled down a bit as Ginny, Fred, and George grabbed for their presents. They ripped the paper off after trying to feel it to figure out what it was.
“Thanks, Ems! I needed to stock up on these!” Fred exclaimed, counting all of his ammo of the different tricks and pranks she got him. Emily grinned.
“These are adorable, Emily! I love them! Do you have the other bracelet?” Ginny asked in one breath. She looked at Emily with big eyes and Emily couldn’t help but chuckle.
Emily pulled the sleeve of her jacket up. “Yes, I have the other one! Do the shoes fit?”
Ginny examined the shoes. “They should, they’re eight’s,” Ginny said.
“Good,” Emily sighed.
“Thanks, Ems. I love my presents. All of them,” George said with a twinkle in his eye. The other two ignored him and kept examining their own gifts, but Emily watched as George put a blue friendship bracelet, which did look masculine, around his wrist. He looked at Emily’s wrist, which had a matching green one right beside her purple one that matched Ginny’s. Emily smiled at him and he returned it.
“You’re welcome,” she mouthed to him.” He nodded and then looked down. She blushed slightly, but you could hardly tell from the cold weather.
“Alright, now it’s your turn!” Ginny announced. “We got it together, I hope you like it.” Ginny looked anxious.
“I’m sure I’ll love it.” Emily reached for the package. Carefully, she unwrapped the rectangular gift. She read the front of the box, her eyes widening with every word. “Is this really a...a what I think it is?” she whispered. She looked up at Ginny, Fred, and George’s grinning faces. They all nodded. Emily looked down at the gift again. “You spent way too much! You have to take it back!” she yelled.
“We’re not taking it back,” said Fred calmly, his grin still apparent on his face.
“But, these cost a fortune!” Emily argued.
“No refunds, besides it was on sale and totally worth it,” George said. They weren’t taking her seriously.
“Guys, why would you spend so much on me?”
“Because you’re worth it,” Ginny answered.
“But, but...” Emily wasn’t sure of what to say. She had no arguments left. She stared at the radio in her hands. This wasn’t just any radio though. This radio allowed you to listen to all kinds of music, from muggle to witches and wizards, from past and present, to even the future. That’s right, the future. If she wanted, Emily could turn to the year 3000 and hear the newest music of the age. She had always wanted one, and now it was in her hands, and yet, she was trying to give it back. Her hands clutched it closely.
“Thank you, it’s amazing,” Emily whispered.
“Much better reaction, Ems,” Fred grinned. Emily smiled at him.
“So, now that we’re on the subject of music, how come you don’t play your guitar anymore?” George asked. He sounded like Remus earlier today.
“I don’t know,” she said awkwardly. “I guess I haven’t had time lately,” she said.
“Don’t even try that excuse, Ems,” said Fred.
“You should definitely play again,” Ginny said. She took out a small thing from her pocket. It was a miniature guitar. It looked familiar to Emily.
“Hey, that looks just like my guitar!” Emily took the outstretched guitar from Ginny and examined it more closely. “Hey, this is my guitar! Isn’t it?” She eyed the three red heads. They all nodded. Emily took her wand from her pocket and tapped the miniature guitar once. It automatically grew to its normal size.
“How did you get this? It was in my room this morning.” Emily looked at Ginny.
“We sent a letter to Professor Lupin. He gave it to me when you arrived,” Ginny explained. Emily nodded faintly. She looked down at her guitar that hadn’t been touched for months. She wanted to put it out of sight. They were probably expecting her to play, but she never wanted to touch the thing again.
“Play for us!” George said.
“Er, maybe some other time,” Emily said. She put the guitar in front of her feet. “Let’s listen to the radio, shall we?” she asked, changing the subject.
“Yeah! What year should we listen to?” Ginny asked, perking up a bit.
“I don’t know,” Emily thought for a moment. “What about 2010? The new decade?” Emily asked. They all nodded in excitement.
Emily took the wireless radio out of the box and fumbled with the directions. She scanned them hurriedly. She put the antenna up and played with the knobs. She finally found the right station, pushed the power button, and turned up the volume. They all listened as the new music filled the air around them.
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
Emily and George glanced up at each other. Fred nudged Ginny in the side and they both stifled their giggles.
So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know
I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
Emily blushed, but she couldn’t look away from George. He wasn’t breaking eye contact either. She looked into his deep, soft brown eyes. They had this twinkle to them that made her heart melt every time. She loved him, there was no denying it at this point. Being in this close proximity with him was torture for her. She couldn’t make a move. She couldn’t scream off rooftops with him. She couldn’t close the space between them and kiss him like there was no tomorrow. They weren’t getting together. They were friends, just friends. She wanted to run far away. She wanted to cry her heart and soul out. She wanted out of this hell she was in. A hell where her entire life was right before her eyes, but she couldn’t touch it.
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Emily couldn’t help but think “liar” in her head. He had once told her he wasn’t leaving, yet he did. He left her and went to Angelina. She felt that sudden urge to cry again. She wanted to yell at him and accuse him. She wanted him to feel the pain that she felt. She wanted him to know what he’s put her through.
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go...
They all listened to the lyrics. They were all holding their breaths as the radio personnel came on after the song finished. His voice made Emily and George snap out of it. They both looked away, growing embarrassed.
And that, folks, was Nickleback with their hit, “Far Away.” In ten minutes, we have Ali Mac with the weather, but right now, we have Justin Bieber with “One Time.”
The radio guy went off and a song started playing. The four of them automatically started rocking their heads to the beat.
Me plus you, I'ma tell you one time
Me plus you, I'ma tell you one time
Me plus you, I'ma tell you one time
One time, one time
When I met you girl my heart went knock knock
Now them butterflies in my stomach won't stop stop
And even though it's a struggle love is all we got
And we gon' keep keep climbing to the mountain top
What was with these love songs, Emily thought. She wanted to throw the radio and its lovey dovey songs into the tree. But that would be rude, since it was a gift, not to mention the coolest thing ever.
Your world is my world
And my fight is your fight
My breath is your breath
And your heart
Emily looked up at George again. He was staring at her, a deep intensity in his eyes. He was about to say something when—
*Muahahaha!! I thought I'd leave you on a cliffie Tell me watchya think
SOON ISN"T SOON ENOUGH MISSY! Oops I mean, Hello Emily, What a great post! That was brilliant about the letter to Remus from Ginny, and him getting the guitar and shrinking it to take over to the Weasleys. Brilliant. I love Remus. He's so sweet! I wish he could have stayed at the Burrow for the meal. The radio was a big hit. And why wouldn't it be. Wow! Great post Emily, and I know you'll post very soon, right? You don't really want to leave us dangling at all. I'll be watching for your next post. Oh, I was wondering will we find out what Emily's problem is about her not wanting to play the guitar?

Get er Ginny! Get er! Oops, Emily! ummm, well, ummm, I was just thinking out loud as to what I would say to Ginny if I was there. She really is a wildfire that one isn't she! Of course I think she is spot on with her judgement calls. Thanks for this sneak peak. I'll be watching for the rest of it as soon as you can put it up. I love your story. And if you need me, I'm ready to put up my dukes along side Ginny. I'm just saying. You know I'm teasing you in a big way. Except I do love your story, and I will be watching for the rest of the chapter.
