Aiden just thought she was being paranoid, but there was no sense in trying to convince the girl. She was set in her ways. "Well, I didn't actually have a date coming in to the ball," he admitted, then spoke further. "But Ella's my date now. I think she's taking getting something to drink." He frowned when she said how her date ditched her. "Cody? Why?"

Selena frowned. "Do you want a hug? Hugs are free," she said with a smile and a twinkle in her eye. Yeah, she liked giving hugs~ But people didn't seem to like to get hugs... so she stopped asking.

"Vampires and werewolves?" she squeaked. She didn't like vampires or werewolves, they frightened her. Especially werewolves. It seemed absolutely terrible. Note to self, cross that place off her list of places to visit. She did not want to go somewhere that dangerous. She didn't feel like dying. Not in this century.

Savannah was looking down at her arm again, worried. She needed to get this checked out as soon as possible.Oh, not only was she not feeling well, convinced she was dying but she also learned that Aiden's date was Ella ? Not to mention Cody ditched her. Pft..."Oh. No comment."she said, it was best to just leave it like that. She wasn't going to insult Ella because that would get no where with Aiden. Plus it wouldn't impress him very much. Hearing him talk about Cody, she sighed a miserable sigh."His ex girlfriend came back she approached us while we were dancing. Cody is now with her and I think he broke my wrist while we were dancing." Pout.

"She just..." he looked down at the grass and then up to Raven. "I don't understand why dating her has caused all this drama." Milo shook his head in disgust. "It's just lead to nothing but trouble since I got here."

Hogwarts wasn't what he had expected, that's for sure.

"Maybe she just wasn't good for you, to be honest; I know about this and drama usually tends to stir up because the fact of the matter is either she thinks she can do better or that she was just looking for a complete way out." Raven said then hugged Milo for a little bit, just trying to make him feel better.

Lilyan nodded, "Of course." She agreed lightly enough, although, she too was a bit distracted thinking about how exactly a calming draught would affect poor Sage.

Then she shrugged it off. "Well you know, it's always an option, if he seems like he needs one."

Then, she thought of something else. "Have you two danced yet?" She asked, a smirk twitching to her lips as she thought back on their previous talk, way before the ball had even started.

Milo smiled sadly at Raven's response and returned the hug, glad to have someone to comfort him. He tried to push thoughts of Trixie out of his head and just get back to enjoying the ball even if it was slightly dampered by that event.

"Thanks a lot Raven. It was really nice of you to come comfort me." he said pulling away from the girl so that he didn't ruin her dress.

"It's no problem Milo, I was only just talking to a friend about something so I wasn't exactly busy. But you know, if you want to talk; just come and find me and I will make the time to listen." Raven said then bit her lip slightly before leaning over and kissing him on the cheek; chuckling a little bit when she noticed she left a lipstick print.

The boy felt his face flush crimson as Raven kissed his cheek. He looked down at the ground and then up to the girl once more.

"Save a dance for me later yeah?" he asked with an arch of his brow. "I've missed talking to you Raven, it's a shame we haven't been closer like we were at the beginning of the year."

Still blushing, Milo didn't notice that he had lipstick on his cheek still and would probably go a good long while with it on.

Why was there someone HOLDING his girl? Christian narrowed his eyes as he walked up behind Lyra and instantly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in close to him. "Hello, my love," he smiled. "Miss me?"

Raven giggled a bit when she noticed that Milo was actually blushing after she kissed him; seemed like she never lost her gift for making people blush even though it had been a little while.

"Of course I will." she replied with a soft smile on her red lips. "I know but that was my fault because of the fact of my ex returning.. he never did anyways honestly. But that doesn't mean that we can't been like this for the rest of the term."

It was as if she had to jump to get her arms around the tall man's neck. Not really but it sounded good. "I've actually been just..." Andddd Lyra felt arms around her waist as she was being tugged backwards towards a familiar voice. "OH," she spoke in a shocking voice. "There you are." She held a smile as she looked back to Christian, kissed his cheek....in front of everyone....HINT...and turned back with the same smile. "Of course I missed you, Dear. Always," she wrinkled her nose, totally not forgetting about one thing.

"Christian, my Love," she had to add that in there of course, "This is Robert," she pointed to the realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly tall man that had picked her up before. "And this is Vannie. She's been over to the house a few times but you haven't been home." Surprise! So she had friends over to the house, that wasn't bad. Nope. Especially when you were helping to plan your friend's love life. But something caught her off guard and she just had to chime in.

"Robert, did you say you were playing Professional Quidditch?" How cool was that? "Someone's a Rebel!"

"Yeah.." Milo's voice trailed off and he looked away pausing before looking to Raven again. He smiled briefly noting how pretty she looked tonight, hardly more than she usually did in his opinion.

Ever since they had bumped into each other in the Room of Requirement he had always had a soft spot for her. Without realizing it, the young man had leaned forward and given her a proper kiss on the lips.

Coming back to his senses, Milo gasped and pulled away, blushing again. "Sorry, sorry...I just...well I don't really know what I was thinking."

Looking across the pond, she moved her hands from her lap and placed them on the bench, leaning back on them as she looked up at the night sky and the stars. Yes, it was a beautiful night and it only added to the magic that she could feel in the air at the moment. Really she could have asked for anything more, well maybe her date to find her, but she figured he was out talking to his other friends. Again, it wasn't like it was truly a date or anything.

Looking back down, she noticed a familiar face. It was Carter and he looked rather handsome. She had seen him briefly before, but it was just a glimpes before Evan met her in the entrance. Giving him a low whistle, she waved.

Lexi just nodded and shrugged, as well. "He seems to be alright, though. I guess he's just like most other guys---a little nervous to be at an event like a dance...or a ball, whatever," she said. To be honest, Sage was doing far better that Lexi had thought he would. For starters, his ears hadn't even turned red once. For Sage, that was a huge accomplishment.

When Lily asked if Sage and Lexi had danced, Lexi perked up a little and turned to face her friend. "Actually..., yes," she answered, still surprised, even now, that Sage had been the one to initiate the whole dancing part of their date. "Would you believe that he was the one to ask? I thought I'd have to slowly edge him into even thinking about possibly dancing, but no---he asked me fairly early on, actually."

Once Milo had kissed her, Raven blushed a slight crimson; wondering why he did that, it wasn't that she was mad or anything, just quite curious. "It's quite alright actually... I just didn't think that you would do that." Wow Raven, could you not manage to say anything else? It was weird, just because things didn't exactly go well with them in the beginning; she just never really got over him.

Robert laughed as Lyra jumped up to get her arms around his neck and then felt her being pulled away. Looking behind her he saw a man pulling her towards him and being all possessive over her in front of him he chuckled at the site. What was he going to steal LYRA? He brought his hand up trying to hide a laugh unsuccessfully.

Nodding toward the man he held out his hand, "Nice to meet you. I'm...well Robert obviously a good friend of Lyra's." He could still say that right? They'd been close to best friends in school he'd like to still think they were.

Hearing Lyra's question he nodded, "Yup, got asked to try out right after school. Been a starter since. Takes me away from Liz a bit more than I'd like to be though," he said honestly with a sigh. As he heard what she called him he laughed. "Rebel...not exactly. I've, basically, disowned my family, well my father anyway. We don't talk, Liz and I have our own place..." Things have changed. Liz gave him the backbone to stand up to his father but he had Mari to thank for starting that. He never would have otherwise. Liz gave him that reason, if his father didn't approve of Mari...he definitely didn't approve of Liz and that crossed a line.

The young man watched on as Raven blushed and couldn't help but grin. "I just thought that since we never got the chance before, might as well do it before the year is out." he explained and brushed a stray piece of hair out of her face.

Leaning forward, Milo kissed Raven for a second time, relishing in the feeling of her lips against his. Maybe the ball would be better than he had expected.

It was definitely a strange feeling now, it was just like she had totally forgotten what happened with Milo earlier on; Raven just liked him because he was different. "Well I'm glad you did, cause if you didn't; I would have." she admitted then blushed slightly out of embarassment.

Once he kissed her again, she put her arms around his neck and kissed him back; it was sort of ironic that this all came about during the ball, if this event never happened then she wouldn't have gotten to be alone with Milo.

Milo stroked Raven's cheek as he watched her blush. It hardly seem real that the two were together just then. And it didn't seem fair that Raven was going to be leaving so soon. They would have to stay together as much as possible, considering.

Breathless, he held the girl close to him as she kissed him back all thoughts of sadness fleeing his head. Trixie had been his first love, sure. But Raven was someone that he could certainly trust as well. And perhaps they would be able to have a deeper relationship considering her maturity.

Football (or soccer) was cooler.

It was all too perfect actually, like someone had set this up for her just to knock down but she still couldn't actually believe what was going on, Raven finally pulled herself away and giggled a little bit like a fool, blushing a deep crimson colour. "I um.. what just happened?" She chuckled slightly after that, it was a little off to play clueless but everything that happened earlier had been washed away from what just happened.

Carter looked around when he heard a whisper. He looked around and pointed to himself with a smirk on his face searching for who whistled.

Then he spotted Mina. He could feel his jaw drop. She looked amazing. He walked over to her. "Hey." he said. "You look fantastic."

"Well there was the whole kissing bit. And now we're both blushing a good shade of red." Milo replied, leaning her head against hers, hardly noticing anyone that could've been around them.

He beamed as she giggled and stroked her cheek gently with his thumb. "It certainly was a way of cheering me up." the young man admitted smirking. "But this still leaves question for what we are to do here."

Raven just felt a rush of confusion after Milo posed the question of what they were to do about this situation, the answer seemed rather obvious but she couldn't seem to figure it out until it finally hit her like a rogue bludger. "Well, there really is only one thing to do.. we maybe could try dating." Did those words just come out of her mouth? Apparently they did.
