"Hey, Sav," Aiden greeted, after spotting that blonde head of hers. She was rather hard to miss in her expensive-looking dress and neatly-done hair. He grinned and continued over towards her. "I bet you're loving that you finally get to dress up, huh? A day without uniforms."

SAvvy turned around, a tiny frown still on her face. She had been busy sulking. She smiled weakly seeing Aiden, it was a fake smile but still a smile. "You have no idea."She said, shaking her head. At least at Beauxbatons she could wear cute shoes and cute flashy jewelry. Oh, and the uniforms weren't TOO hideous. Hogwats uniforms were the ugliest thing ever, Savannah kind of wanted to burn those terrible things. Savannah's eyes wandered towards Aiden, a bow tie. He looked fancy."You look cut...nice."she said, a nod of her head. No flirting. No flirting."How do I look ?"she said, smiling wide at him. she already knew the answer but she wanted to hear it from somebody's mouth.

Lyra grinned with a tiny hint of laughter. "The Lyra make-over has turned you into one of the most beautiful people here," she spoke even if she was slightly complimenting herself. "And just for the record, you will be completely cut off if I find you in a terrible state again." Not really, but it was fun making demanding statements from time to time.

"Well, I'm ready to meet him." More like judge who this Seth person was. "Christian is inside speaking to Professor V at the moment. He looks so handsome." And then it hit her. After all the times she'd come to visit at the apartment, Vannie never had the chance to meet Christian. GASP! "You've never met him either?" Eeeeekkk! She was excited about that.

Marie smiled when Evan said she looked beautiful. "Thanks." she said not really knowing what else to say. It's not like she was going to tell him she picked her dress out just for Carter. Which she did... well the color anyway.

WHAT? Mina? What happened to Ella?

"You're here... with Mina? I thought you were going to ask Ella to come with you." She knew that he really liked Ella and that she liked him so why would he ask Mina? "You two are here just as friends... right?" She just knew that Ella would be heartbroken if he was more than friends with Mina.

"Carter is getting us something to drink. He should be back out anytime." Now that she thought about it, she didn't see Mina anywhere. "Where's Mina?"

"Of course it had." Vanessa giggled, giving her hair a little toss before she smiled. Vannie really believed that she was beautiful now, and she didn't even have to have people say that she was. But she also knew she wasn't going to get too vain about it. She was not like that at all. "I do not think I am ever going to let myself getting into that state ever again." That had been a bad time for her. "And you won't cut me off." She grinned at her friend. "Because I won't let you." Because she was evil like that. haha.

"And approve him?" Vans smirked at Lyra. Yes she most definetly knew her far too well hehe. But she knew why the girl wanted to approve him, because she cared about Vannie, which was nice. Oh yes. Christian. She shook her head, grinning a little. "Which is odd seeing as I'm at yours all the while." She mused, with a grin. "At least I can meet him now."

Evan nodded, surprised that Marie gave such a big reaction. Did it matter that much whom he came here with, or whom he possibly dated? Why did Marie care so much his relationships, especially with Ella? She wasn't that interested in him a few months ago. And what about her question now? He would almost think she was afraid that something would happen between him and Mina; which would be nothing but natural, for she was clever, fun, and beautiful. Weird... he hoped there was nothing going on in her mind about him, because he really couldn't bear another drama.

"Relax, Marie," he reassured her with a small surprised smile. "I couldn't see Ella anywhere, so I asked Mina if she'd come with me as friends." Seriously, what about all this interest and panic now? What could possibly happen if he chose Mina anyway? He was sure she would make him very well happy.

He tried to keep composed and not interested in, but mentally he was a little annoyed again. Such a gentleman Carter would of course only leave her to get drinks; he should have known this. He wondered if the guy had ever just let her be alone just because, not because of necessities. Probably not. How come both of them weren't bored of each other yet? Personally, regardless of how much he loved a human, he'd be bored and tired after some time. Though, Carter was such a great person that he probably never bored her out. Riiight, he forgot that part. Pfft.

"She's dancing with a friend, and I've decided to get some air. She should come here soon." Actually, she didn't say she would, but he wasn't going to say that. Just pretend she was looking for him, or something. She would come eventually, but not as quick as sticky Carter.

"That's not the attitude to have Vans. The statement is, I will not allow myself into that state ever again. Lyra Noir will not allow me!" Demanding? A tiny bit. But she didn't want to see her friend hurt ever again as that was the way she saw Vannie.

"Yes, approve him," she grinned then smirked. "You know why. I don't have to explain." She paused to lower her voice. "Although I thought I might see you here with...someone else." Like Erik? Hmmm? She needed to inquire about that...or stick her nose into that business.

And then her favorite topic: Christian. "He's inside with Professor V at the moment since it's been a while. He has missed him so much." Christian always found ways of visiting Vindictus and Fabian all the time.

Robert must've looked around everywhere for Lyra and decided to step outside and try his luck. Stepping outside he took a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair. It had been a few years since he'd seen Mari and he always dreaded it yet...he was surprised, pleasantly so. His feelings for Mari had disappeared completely. A smile came to his face as he thought about Liz and how she stuck by him all the time. He really did love her. Scanning the grounds he spotted what looked to be a familiar blonde and he smirked. Sneaking up behind Lyra he smirked and lifted her a good foot off the ground thanks to his massive height and strong arms. "There's my Lyra!" he said with a grin before setting her down. He hadn't seen his friend in awhile and he missed her.

"I think my attitude is perfectly fine Miss Noir." Vanessa frowned a little, before giggling at her friend. She knew Lyra was right, but still she liking teasing her. "Andd I don't want to displease Lyra Noir...she'll gossip about me." She smirked, sticking her tongue out at her. Hehe. She liked being able to be like this around Lyra. She was only 20 but sometimes she felt like she was years older, probably having a baby had done that.

She sighed as Lyra spoke quieter, she knew why she'd asked, and she also knew that she'd probably have liked to come with Erik more. "I don't know if Erik's coming...." She mused, clearly looking a little happier as she talked about him. "And Seth asked me....so?" She shrugged, she did care a little bit, but she also knew that she was going to have a nice time with Seth so.....she'd just see Erik another time.

She grinning, giggling a little as Lyra talked. Oh she could so tell that Lyra was in love with Christian so much, just by how she like glowed when she talked about him. "You know Lyra....you can tell how love you are in....by just looking at you glow." She smiled, happy for her friend, although she was a little jealous....Vannie wanted that. But then you didn't always know what was coming around the corner....

...And there someone did come from around the corner, and lift Lyra right off her feet. Umm Hello? who are you?

"You'd be right about the gossip," Lyra giggled before making a mental note of what Vannie said before she felt someone lift her off of the ground. The sound of the voice was one person she hadn't seen in a long time. "Eeeeekkkk!" She couldn't help but yell as she was picked up but she then realized who it had to be. "ROBERT CHAMBERS! That BETTER be you!" And if it wasn't? Well someone would be in trouble for lifting her so high off of the ground as they were pretending to be strong and tall.

Robert laughed as he heard Lyra yell at him and he set her back down on the ground carefully. "Well who else would it have been?" He had to be the tallest guy in this school. Smirking he gave her a hug, "How have you been?" His eyes went toward the girl standing with them and he smiled. "Oh I'm sorry. I'm Robert, Beater for Puddlemere United." He smirked at Lyra wondering if she knew that already.

"Oh I know it. You're the gossiper of the pink ladies." Vannie smirked as she watched her bestie. Oh most definetly Lyra was the gossiper, but then she was grateful that Lyra wouldn't intentionally gossip about her, because they were friends hehe.
She actually had no idea who he was, but Lyra apparently did, so that was good, because it would mean that she could probably get to know who he was oh. "Oh hey. I'm Vanessa Corbette." She smiled at him. He was a quidditch player? That was awesome.

Relax? She was relaxed. Didn't she look relaxed? "Yeah, I haven't seen her around lately either." Maybe she would have to ask Carter if he has seen her around. "Well I'm glad Mina was there for you then." She really would have hated seeing him there without a date, even if his date is just a friend.

Mina was going to be coming out there? "Oh, maybe I should go then." She had a feeling Mina really didn't like her much and she didn't want any problems tonight. She was there to have a good time with Carter, not to have any drama with anyone. She stood up to leave, "I hope you have a good time tonight. Maybe I wll see you on the dance floor."

Selena nodded. She seemed like the type to want to work with those things. "Cool," she said because she didn't know what else to say about it. "But did you always want to work for the ministry? Or was there something else you wanted to do?" Selena asked.

"Special trip to---oh, a Calming Draught, you mean?" she replied. She glanced off into a thickly-wooded section of the grounds, lost in thought about whether or not a Calming Draught would be the cure for Sage's awkwardness and shyness once and for all. "Hmm..., I wonder..." She stayed lost in thought, thinking about Sage and Calming Draughts, until Lily mentioned something about taking a breather.

"Oh, yeah. There really are a lot of people in the receiving line. It was sort of difficult to tell one person from the other with all the crowds," she agreed. Normally, Lexi was the one to love a good crowd, but not now...not when there were so many other exciting places to be.

Mina wandered toward the pond. It did look even more enchanting than she envisioned it in her mind. Seeing an empty bench, she made her way over and seat down, folding her hands in her lap. The fresh air and the lights twinkling around had a calming effect on her, not that she needed to calm down or anything. She was having a great time with her 'date'. Evan was the perfect gentleman and there hadn't been one awkward moment all night. She really couldn't have asked for anything more. The night was nearly perfect.

Carter returned to the pond holding two drinks. One for him and one for Marie. When he walked outside he saw an amazing sight. The pond looked incredible! He wondered who made it.

"Thanks," Aiden said, when Savannah complimented his appearance. Fancy occasions called for fancy attire. He smiled when she asked how she looked. "I think you already know the answer to that, Savvy. You're a knockout," he chuckled, resting his hands behind his back.

She shrugged, "JUst telling the truth."She said, looking down at her arm. A tiny little mole, a mole she had never seen before. Hearing Aiden speak, Savannah looked up at Aiden, "Oh..I know."She said, flipping her blonde hair. He probably thought Ella looked better, pft. Savvy knew that Ella chick looked no where near as hot as she did, in fact, no one would ever look as hot as Savannah Conrad. This was a fact. And...now to looking back down at her arm."does this look like cancer ?"She asked, head tilted. Nekoda's mother had cancer. She had heard how scary it was. Eeeep. She didn't want to die.

Pfft. That was so like Savannah, he thought, as she flipped her blonde hair. Huh? Cancer? This was pretty random, but whatever. He looked down at her arm to the point she was indicating. "Just looks like a mole to me," he said with a shrug. "I wouldn't worry about it."

"I never planned on it," Aveira replied, shrugging. "I didn't plan for the future, really. I thought I was going to marry my boyfriend, but he died, and I gave up. Certain events led me to law enforcement, and, incidentally, Romania, and that was five years ago, right out of school. Now, I'm back here. Full circle, huh?"

She looked down at her arm again, "I still think I should check it out."she said, a shrug of her shoulders. It looked serious, or so she thought. She let out a sigh,"So, where is your date ?"she asked, taking a long pause."Mine ditched me."Cough. Stupid Ex girlfriends coming back....

Oh. "Yeah," she said. That seemed a bit depressing. "What was it like in Romania?" she asked, "Did you ever have a chance to work with dragons?" she asked. Because dragons were awesome!

She chuckled dryly when she heard Selena's voice drop to sadness. "That's not the worst of it," Aveira muttered. "Trust me. You don't want to hear about my life." Sighing, she brushed a lock of hair out of her eyes. She didn't want to talk about it, either... "Romania's really beautiful... at daytime. Not so much at night. When the sun sets, you're in Hell. I've fought dragons and vampires and werewolves. It's not fun. It's scary. Really bloody scary." And thus, Aveira shuddered, failing to mention that, every night after work, she went right back there, to her disheveled castle nestled right in the center of that Hell.
