"Yay! Judeee! You're finally here!" Tyler laughed. Now he was a bit too hyper right now and he hadn't had any sweets lately. Oh well. "I'm guessing your date is late?" he asked as he started doing tricks on his board, making sure Lucy wasn't around or she'd drown him in the pond for street skating again. But the poor teenager didn't want to be here and Lucy wasn't here either. But he had Jude and that made it all better.

"Haven't seen you in a bit. What have you been up to?" he asked, trying to land a kickflip, which was not going so well.

Selena nodded. "Well, I'm sure you would've made a great hit witch," Selena said with a smile. Even though it was dangerous... and people died a lot from it. "Department of Mysteries sounds interesting," Selena said. She had never actually thought about getting a job there, but mainly because her stepfather had worked there for a while. "What position in the Department of Mysteries are you planning on getting?" Selena asked.

Jude watched Tyler doing his little tricks and was rather impressed. The only sort of boarding he ever did was surfing but he certainly couldn't do that right now. The pond was just too small.

"Oh y'know...homework and all of that. I actually ventured outside and everything. That's when I asked Esme to the ball. She was having a bit of fun with balloons and she seems really decent." he explained with a smile.

"Dude you really want to rip your awesome tux before we head onto the dance floor?" Jude asked Tyler with as serious of a face as he could muster.

"Ohhh, another person drowned in homework," Tyler chuckled and shook his head. Well, he had been drowned in homework a bit but he never either finished it or did it. Oh well. "Nooo...I was wearing another suit before, but this one seemed more fitting for my personality so yeah. But I'll stop skating if you want me to," he said and stepped off. Hmmm, what could they do now? Oh wait, there was something Tyler hadn't told Jude yet.

"Dudeeee. My mom kicked out the house. And now she's upset I won't talk to her," Tyler smirked a bit and shrugged. WHy would he want to talk to her? Her really didn't have a reason to kick him out. So ha!

Jude sighed and knew that it was putting a damper on all of his friends that he did so much homework. But now he just was going to relax and kick it back. Like Tyler always did.

"Ohhhh I just didn't want you to rip it or you wouldn't look as awesome as me." the young boy said with a confident smile.

The smile faded as he listened to what Tyler told him. "Are you serious?! Where are you living?! Do you need to come live with me for a bit?"

"I'll never look as awesome as you, man," Ty laughed and rocked is board back and forth. Hmm, he still hadn't gotten the new parts for this thing. Which meant it was going to break sooner or later. Gahhh. "Yeah, she called me ungrateful and all that stuff. I mean, I don't really care you know 'cause it was bound to happen sooner or later." Oh welllll. "I've stayed with my aunt the entire time I was here, so I'ma be with her a bit more than getting my own place. But..." Tyler took a deep breath and sighed.

"I'm moving to Spain,"

Miranda pursed her lips, feeling quite determined to get this boy back to the ball room. Hehe.

Bearded man. Oh! "Y'know...that guy...with the beard." She gestured at her chin, as if there was some beard fuzz there. "No...I wouldn't say he wore a dress..." He didn't... she was sure of it. "He wore more of a...thing that looks like a night gown...kind of thing." Errr.

Miranda shook her head and waved a lazy hand. "Okay, nevermind the bearded man...the point is you did awesome in there and now you should go back in and be awesome still." With a determined nod, she thought she had made the point now. Hehehe.

"Nice to meet you, Cadence." Miranda smiled and was quite surprised at her turning down the chocolate. Oh... More for her then. Snort.
Maybe she could convince Torin to get up and get dancing. "Have you seen Brody around?" She asked both of them. Brody, now that was a girl that would definitely be able to make sure Torin got all happy again.

Jude shoved him response but felt his face flush at the compliment.

He listened in horror to what Tyler had to say. Sounds about as bad as his father. "Jeez man, I'm sorry. Wait what?!" Jude shouted. "SPAIN?!?!"

He paused and then looked down at his shoes. Ooh he could see his reflection. Wait! Pay attention!

"Mate, I'll miss you loads...I wish I could go with you. It'd be a lot better than being stuck in London."

"Yeah, I was born there so why not go back? I mean, I'm still gonna be coming to Hogwarts and staying with my aunt while I'm here," Tyler explained and sighed. Sheesh, he was gonna have to buy so many new things for his home. Welcome to the grown up world. Hmph. "Well, you can visit anytime you want,"

Evan got out of the ball to the benches neaby a pond. He had been having a great time so far with Mina, and he felt really special to be going with her. She had been fun to be around, and luckily tonight wasn't any different. He decided to see the outside while she was dancing with a friend, and there he was, sitting on a bench, staring in the clear sky. He was glad things hadn't been awkward so far. Also, Violet was staying away. Yeah, such a beautiful ball.

Marie was sitting on a bench out by the pond waiting for Carter to come back with something for them to drink. She was having the best night of her life so far. Staring at the water she noticed someone sit on the bench next to her. Looking over she seen that it was Evan. "Hey Evan," she said as she went over to sit with him. "Having a good time tonight?"

Evan was wondering how long a dance can take, for Mina still wasn't back yet when he heard someone calling him. Looking to that direction, he couldn't recognise the girl at first--his brain was too mesmerised by her beauty. Then she proceeded with a question, and slowly it functioned to conclude that she was Marie. It then managed to realise his mouth was open, and his eyes were right staring at her, looking lost in her beauty. He had to shake his head slightly to think properly again, and this process took some time. He also missed the question. Oh, joy.

Smiling, he said "Hey there," as he scooted over a bit to get her some space to sit. Should he compliment, or not? Not that she hadn't understood that he thought she was literally stunning, she must have been fool not to get that from his expression, but he didn't want to put any awkwardness at this nice night. He decided to wait for her first at last. If she didn't say anything to him, he wouldn't open his mouth.

"Beautiful night, eh?" Oh, please not let her have asked any other thing.

"Oh Vannssss," Lyra smirked, turning her head to the side as Vannie spoke of how beautiful she was. "You didn't have t-Well, yes. Yes, I love it when someone tells me I'm beautiful." Shallow? She didn't think so. "And you. Vans you look beautiful as well." Her eyes looked around in search for someone, to see just who this Seth person was. "Now which one is Seth?" Yeah. To the point. She wanted to see if she remembered who he was.

Marie sat down when Evan moved over for her. Even though it was dark she didn't miss the shocked look on his face when he seen her. Shw seen him staring with his mouth hanging open. She was tempted to reach out and close his mouth for him but didn't think that would be appropriate.

Phew, he came around and was able to talk finally.

"Yeah, it's a perfect night." She couldn't have asked for a more perfect night.

Finally catching sight of what he was wearing (now that her eyes were adjusting to the dark atmosphere) she was kind of in aww herself. He looked very handsome in his black suit with silver and green tie. Of course not as handsome as Carter, but still, very handsome. "You look... very nice tonight." She said. She didn't want to make things awkward by saying anything else.

"So are you here alone or is Ella here with you?" She knew he was going to ask Ella to come with him but she hadn't seen her around school for a long time. Maybe he never got around to asking her.

Evan relieved when Marie didn't give her a funny look or anything. Apparently, he said the right thing. Thanks to adrenaline, which always helped his brain work faster. He wondered if it was the ball that was perfect, or if it was the moments she was having with Carter in this darkness. They didn't seem to have any discomfort snogging in public, though, so it must be a regular night for them. He tried to shrug mentally, it wasn't his business. Maybe he could come across them while wandering around...

He tilted his head to one side at her compliment. "Thanks. You look beautiful, too." Beyond beautiful, actually, but he didn't want her to know that he thought she was extremely stunning. She probably got that from his expression, but still... not an appropriate information for a girl who had a loving boyfriend. Mina could compete her tonight, though, if he looked at her at a different angle, not as a friend.

'Are you alone?' Would he ever come alone? "No, I've asked Mina out." As friends. But like Violet, Marie didn't need that detail unless she further inquired. He shrugged. He had taken her advice into consideration, but she was nowhere to be found. And frankly, he didn't regret asking Mina out a bit. On the contrary, he felt rather lucky.

"Where's Carter?" 'Cause, like, they were inseperatable, and it was odd the guy let her free at such a night.

Hiding wasn't a good word for what Lilyan Moretti was doing, really, it wasn't. She'd simply wandered outside for a bit of fresh air. There was a lot of people inside, and it was just a bit stuffy.

So yes, with her hands clasped behind her back, she took a little stroll.

Besides perhaps someone should check on the going's on out there, since all the other staff members were inside, and all.

From her spot near the seating area, Lexi noticed Lily slip out the back door and head toward the ball festivities outside the castle. Or...maybe festivities was too strong of a word. From what Lexi had heard, it was a rather peaceful little enchanted garden and then a few benches lining the pond area.

Excusing herself from her date for just a few minutes, Lexi followed her friend and finally caught up with her outside by the pond. "Lily!" she called out, walking just a little faster to catch up. "I hope you don't mind the company. I thought it might be nice to get away from the crowds for a little while. Merlin, there's so many people in there!"

Pausing when she heard her name called, Lilyan looked over her shoulder, an automatic smile appearing when she saw the woman, "Well, for you, I think I can make an exception." She laughed, picking up her pace once again.

Oh yes. "That is exactly the reason I kind of detoured out here for a bit." Not that she was claustrophobic, or anything, but there was just a bit too much going on, "How is the night going for you?" She added, arching an eyebrow.

Raven lead Milo out to the pond and then let go of his hand, finally they were out somewhere where there wasn't too many people and they could actually properly talk without basically having to yell. "So, what's going on Milo? I watched you leave the seating area and you were all frustrated." she said, putting her hands behind her back for the moment.

"Haha, if only.. nah, I'd never dress up like this all the time, I mean I like it.. but honestly it's just way too much work." So true. A slight chuckle escaped from her lips eventually, since it was rather amusing.

Milo sat down next to Raven in a huff and looked down to his Converse in silence. How to say that he had messed up the only real relationship he had ever had?

"Well basically, I got mad at my girlfriend, Trixie because she seemed to be all over this guy she was sitting next to." he explained, not able to get the thought of her touching the buffoon's face out of his head. "I just snapped and went off on her, unable to control my emotions."

He glanced over to her and smiled sadly. "You look beautiful nonetheless."

Seeing Lily's smile made Lexi smile, as well. For a minute there, she'd been afraid something was wrong, and that she'd find her friend upset or maybe even crying. She was happy to see that everything was alright and, apparently, Lily was just outside for the same reasons Lexi was.

"The night's actually amazing so far. I'm having a really good with Sage, and I...think...he may be starting to enjoy himself, too. He seemed really frightened at first, though," she said. "Then again, I was a little nervous, too...just in a nervous-excited kind of way, though."

"What about you? How's your night?" she asked.

Raven listened patiently to what Milo was saying and somehow really understood what that was like, she felt rather relieved that she wasn't the only one who totally overreacted and made a huge mistake which cost her a good relationship. "Well, I have to say.. that if she was your girlfriend, she shouldn't have been doing that honestly, if I understood that correctly, then non-verbally; she was saying that she didn't want to be with you Milo." she said then put her hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him.

And with that, Lily was laughing again, "I noticed, actually." She nodded, tossing a look over her shoulder towards a group of students, before her attention was taken again, "I was worried I'd have to make a special trip to the hospital for him."

Perhaps she should have brought some calming draughts with her.

But where would she put them? There were no pockets in her dress, sooooo. Oh well. "Actually, it's only just starting. With all of the people filing past, I thought it might be a good idea for a breather." She shrugged, "Soon enough, I'll go back inside." And possibly dance.

Possibly.

"Of course you do." Vanessa smirked, as she held onto her clutch bag, before placing it under her arm, smiling at Lyra. But she really didn't blame her friend because she would do exactly the same if she looked like Lyra, not that she wasn't pretty, but Lyra was stunning. "Well you did pick the dress out." She smirked at Lyra, she liked the dress too, but she knew if wasn't for her "Lyra make over" then she probably would never had brought this dress. But hehe. She did really like it. "umm..he's out there somewhere..." She indicated back to where they had come from.

Savvy sat down on the bench, letting out a huff. No boys had asked her. This was quite possibly the worst dance ball thingie.EVER. Grumble.Grumble. Savvy fixed her dress, it was new and pretty. Zebra print! RED zebra print.It was fun and flirty. Savvy knew she was the hottest girl at the ball yet she didn't have a date.


It made no sense at all.
