Ophelia nodded briefly, considering what she had and rose from the bean bag,"I think i do..." She mused, going into her cupboard and rooting around for a bit, she returned with a covered bucket, and a bottle of perfume, "For the smell" She explained with an impish grin and passed her the entrails.

She lazily reached up and picked the paper aeroplane out the air. Pulling it open, she read it once and sighed. Pulling the quill out the jar on her desk, she dipped it in some ink, and scribbled her reply.

She tapped the note once, and let it return to it's sender, knowing that she had deliberately given Neva the grace of using her given name.

Startled by Jasmine's sudden appearance, Ophelia spun round and looked at her grinning, "What?" She asked her, half laughing and staring at her hands.

"This is for you!" Jasmine giggled a bit as the professor jumped at her voice, then took her hands from behind her back and presented Prof. Maline with a beautiful light orange flowering plant with variegated green and yellow leaves. "My mum sent it to you for being so nice to me! She is a Healer and also likes herbology so she grows alot of plants.I hope you like it! Its called an um...Abutilon Gold Dust." Proud she had remembered the name so well she handed the flowering pot to the professor with a beaming smile.

"Oh!" Professor Maline excalimed beaming as she gently took the plant from Jasmine, "Oh it's beautiful, tell your mother i'm extremely thankful for this, really i am." She smiled nodding her blonde head as her butterfly halo flickered around her. She wandered over to the windowsil, and placed the beautiful plant there, watering it gently.

Jasmine smiled again and said,"I will." Then giving the professor a bit of a sly look she said," My mum gave Prof. Erikson a plant too. He had helped me with a peppermint plant I have. Oh, and by the way Professor Erikson said he would be stopping by to see if you needed any help with it..." Jasmine bit her lip to keep from giggling and with a somewhat secretive smile waited to see what Prof. Maline's reaction was.

Professor Maline blushed suddenly, she had a feeling this was going to happen, Armands' name brought into this. She bit her lip, and fingered one of it's petals absently, before turning around. "Is he really going to stop by? Thats brilliant, i have a complete inability to keep plants alive for more than a week..." She blabed, rather unsure of herself.

Jasmine smiled broadly and was more than happy at the professor's reaction as she said," Thats what he said. I have to go to the greenhouse now to ask him a question about... um about my homework! So I will let him know you have the plant now. I'm sure he will be happy to see you.And the plant of course!" she said a little too quickly. Grinning again, she turned to run out the door then turned back and grabbed one of Prof. Maline's wonderful cookies. Giggling, she raised the cookie in salute and said,"Sorry! I can't resist your cookies! Bye Prof. Maline I will be back later! Enjoy your plant and all it brings you..." Running out of the office, Jasmine sprinted toward the greenhouses with a look of pure mischief on her face. She couldn't wait to tell Kerry everything!

She gasped suddenly as Jasmine left the room in a flurry of cookie salutes, "You little matchmaker!" She exclaimed to no-one in particular.

Kennedy knocked on Professor Maline's office door just as she heard her yelling "You little matchmaker!" Not sure if she should turn around and come back another time, Kennedy started to turn away. But then she remembered that she had already knocked and it would be rude to just walk away now.

Ophelia shook her head, removing the idea of Jasmines' plans from her head. The door knocked, and still blushing, Professor Maline called them in.

Kennedy entered Professor Maline's office and greeted her "Hello Professor! I'm sorry to bother you but I actually have a question about the baby Mooncalves. Will they only produce their dung during the full moon or do they produce it regularly?" Kennedy knew this sounded like a ridiculously weird question and that Professor Maline was likely going to be intrigued as to why she was asking.

"No, no, not bothering me at all," Ophelia began a little vaguely. She didn't seem to be with it at all at the moment, and she shook her blonde head slightly, willing herself to snap back into a sensible state of mind. "They normally produce it regularly, why is one of the claves sick?" She asked her curiously.

"No ma'am, it's not that. Not that I have noticed anyway. I actually ask because I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get some. You see, Professor Erikson assigned us a seed for homework, which we are to tend to and care for the best way we see fit. Then we are to bring our plant with us to our next lesson. I remembered from your 'class' that Mooncalf dung is a very valuable fertilizer so I was hoping I could get some to help my seed along as best as possible." Kennedy replied.

His name again. What was it with that name? His name too! Ophelia nodded dumbly, not another word was to pass from her lips as she blushed intensely. She didn't think that Kennedy had anything to do with the matchmaking currently spreading throughout Hogwarts, but she was remaining tight-lipped. Walking into her classroom quickly, she removed a small sack of mooncalf dung, and handded it to Kennedy with a warm smile, the blush still shimmering about her golden skinned cheeks.

As Professor Maline agreed to get her Mooncalf dung, Kennedy noticed that Professor Maline was blushing intensely. Not quite sure why, but knowing it was none of her business, Kennedy chose to ignore it. When Professor Maline returned from the CoMC classroom with a small bag of dung in hand, Kennedy noticed that she still wasn't speaking. She hoped she hadn't offended her somehow, but assumed that she hadn't since Professor Maline gave Kennedy a warm smile. Kennedy thought it best to simply thank Professor Maline and then depart her office as quickly as possible. Kennedy's presence seemed to be making her uncomfortable, or at the very least adding to her already present discomfort. "Thank you Professor! See you in your next lesson! Thank you again for the dung!"

"It's ok!" She called in reply, then sat back in one of her bean bags and clutched a cushion too her, grabbing a cookie off the plate. She didn't quite know what was going on with her. Sighing, she fell back and closed her eyes. Let the interupptions continue.

Jasmine limped up to Prof. Maline's office looking a bit put out. She knocked lightly on the door this time, one hand still rubbing her now throbbing leg.

"Come in!" She called, not even bothering to sit up, that. Involved. Effort.

Jasmine entered Prof. Maline's office and limped over to the bean bag next to where she was sitting and plopped down feeling quite exhausted. She turned to the professor and said a bit unhappily," Prof. Erikson is tutoring some students so he can't come look at your.. plant right now." Looking back down at her leg she scowled and said even more crossly,"And I got bit by a spider!" Now her leg was starting to swell around the bite mark. She rubbed it again.

She looked up through bright eyes and sighed slightly, "I think we're both in need of hot chocolate," She mused, summoning some of Honeydukes finest to the table. She picked hers up and sipped it slightly, all her butterflies landing upon her and her blonde hair loose for once. She looked strangely ethreal.

"Jasmine..." She began softly and quietly, but the sparkle of fatigue showed through, "Professor Erikson will come in his own time, but please, tell me just why it is so important he comes now. I am in no mood for lies." She continued, before peering at her leg.

"It won't be poisonous, there are no venomous spiders here in Britain," She told her, watching the small lump on Jasmines leg become red and irritated.

Jasmine took her hot chocolate thankfully and took just a little sip. She had some cookies and she didn't want to consume too much sugar. However the chocolate soothed her a bit and she looked at the professor appoligetically. "I'm sorry professor. Its just that I like you so much and I want you to be happy. You seem to like Prof. Erikson and I thought if he was here that would make you happy. I really like Prof. Erikson too and he seems to like you alot as well and I just wanted you both to be happy.." Jasmine's eyes filled with unshed tears,"Please don't be mad at me professor!"

She shook her head, "I'm not angry at all Jasmine, there is no reason to be angry." Professor Maline said quietly, and sipped her hot chocolate again. "I'm not angry because you are right, I do like Professor Erikson, goodness knows why, but he is rather charming, but...i'm not quite..." She sighed, and placed her head in her hands, running them through her hair and looked up once more as a tear slipped down her cheek. "Oh, goodness, i'm sorry," She said quietly, wiping away a tear. Today, of all days.

Jasmine gasped as she saw Prof. Maline cry and without thinking leaned over and gave her a hug. "Please don't be upset professor!" Jasmine rubbed her back soothingly and said"Prof Erikson is quite cute and charming if I was older I would be melting into a puddle everytime he walked into the room! Kinda like I do when I 'm with my boyfriend Keller. When we were first going out I pretty much acted like a goofball!" Jasmine laughed a little trying to lighten the mood.

Ophelia laughed softly and smiled at Jasmine, "I'm afraid you don't quite understand. Today is the day that my fionce passed on." She told her quitely, thinking that the couple of Jasmine and Keller really were well matched. That, and trying to push the memory of him out her mind.

Jasmine felt tears of sympathy fall as the professor told her why today was difficult for her. "Oh I'm so sorry professor she said softly. I didn't know. And here I am trying to push Prof. Erikson on you and you are grieving. I feel horrible now! Is there anything I can do for you?" Jasmine asked sincerely as she again rubbed her spider bite again,which was getting even redder now.

She absently brushed the tears from Jasmines' eyes away and smiled wryly, "Don't worry, what will happen between him and i will happen in good time if it does at all." She explained quietly, "You shouldn't feel bad, you've done nothing wrong." Ophelia opened the cupboard and pulled out a vial of potion and dripped it on Jasmine's leg, "rub that in, it'll stop the irritation." She explained in that still quiet voice.
