Neva pokes her head around the door, and seeing that the room was empty proceeds to walk in. She supposed that the Professor must still be at the opening feast. She hersef had left a while ago, leaving Julian deep in conversation with Cassandra. She hadn't wanted to intrude on their discussion. It seemed rather personal.

Neva walks up to the front of the office and places a large basket of exotic fruits onto the coffee table, making sure to not knock off the plate of biscuits. Besides the fruit, she places a cage containing two kittens, a black one and a White one. On the Black Kitten's tag is the name "Quaxo Junior". On the White one's tag is "Victoria Junior". On top of the cage, Neva places a note for the Professor which reads :-

Over the summer break my lovely Cats, Quaxo and Victoria, had a litter of Kittens. As I know of your love of all things fluffy, I thought I would liberate the ones most like my own Cats to give to you. You may be wondering about the exotic fruits. They seem to have developed a very strange dietery requirement, these two. They're not at all like their brothers and sisters. They will only eat fruit. Buddha knows as to why this is.

Anyways. I'm rambling. I hope your Kittens bring you as much pleasure as their parents bring me.

Smiling at the two kittens, Neva turns on her heels and walks over to the door. She opens it quietly and slips through the gap before closing it quietly behind her.

Alicia walked outside Professor Maline's office. She knocked quietly on the door and waited for Professor to answer.

Amanda walked to Professor Maline's office. She saw that a Gryffindor girl was there alone. Amanda watched as the girl knocked on the door, as she was just a few feet away from the office door. Amanda smiled at the girl and waited with her.

Alicia turned to see another girl there. "Hello. Um, I don't think we've met. I'm Alicia Cruze. What's your name?" she asked with a warm smile.

Jasmine walked up to Professor Maline's office door and saw some others waiting to go in. Shifting Felix,the kneazle , in her arms she gave them all a wave and a friendly smile. "Hello. I'm Jasmine. Its nice to meet you all."

Alicia smiled. "Hi Jasmine. I'm Alicia. It's nice to meet you to. So, what year are you in?" she asked.

Jasmine smiled at the girl and said,"Hi Alicia! Well this is my first year at Hogwarts. And I am so happy to be here. I have met alot of nice people and made alot of new friends. What year are you in?"

Jack got closer she wanted to introduce herself to the teachers and said "Proffesor Maline? hi...I'm new at Hogwarts...I'm Jack Riddle...nice to meet u" she said "my real name is Jaqueline...but everyone knows me as Jack" she said

Eliza walked towards Professor Maline's office,she had thought she would be the first there but found that Professor Maline already had a fan club waiting for her.She giggled to herself at the thought of a group of lads drolling over Professor Maline and following her every move.

What will her classes be like?Oh deary me,they won't learn a thing! Eliza thought as she got in line with everyone else.She wanted to make sure that she would still have room in her classes after her fan club has entered.

Professor Maline came out of her cupboard hearing a knock at the door of her office and smiled brightly. There seemed to be a basket of exotic fruit on the coffee table along with a pair of purring kittens. She ran over to them, squealing excitedly, Anna the snake hissing about in her hair with shock. She beamed at them happily and read the note, with delight, Neva really was a sweet heart. She liberated the kittens from the basket, and let them run free exploring part of their new home.

Turning to the door, she beamed again, "Come in! All of you! Make yourselves comfortable on the bean bags!" She turned to the girl who had done what she considered to be a normal thing to do with her, and walked straight into the office, "It's lovely to meet you Jack, Cookie?"

Alicia walked into Professor Maline's office. "Hello Professor, how was your summer," she asked with a smile.

Eliza strolled in ,her Blood Red eyes gleaming as she spotted two kittens running around "Aww!Are those you're kittens,Professor?"she asked,taking a step towards one and kneeling down to pet it.She smiled and looked up at Professor Maline "You seem to have a Fan Club going on,Professor!All you hear from the lads is Professor Maline this and Professor Maline that!"she giggled

"Thanks" she said "excuse me Professor...Magical Creatures its a cool subject...but Animagus are considered Creatures?" she said

Aurora walked into Prof Maline's office with behind a group of giggleing girls. Aurora wasnt the giggling type, but she followed them in anyway. There she saw some colorful bean bag chairs with a table and just when she was about to look at a picture on her desk, she was interupted by a small creature rubbing up against her leg. Aurora looked sown and saw a small furry kitten saying hello. She picked up the small kitten and said" Why hello there little one, how are you today?" The kitten purred loudly and immediately went to sleep in her arm.
Aurora took the kitten over to Prof Maline. "Excuse ma'am? This little angel of your just fell asleep , where would you liek me to put her? OH , my name is Aurora by the way."

Settling down in her bean bags Professor Maline smiled at Alicia, "My holiday was interesting thank you! How was yours?" She asked her, offering her a cookie.

She looked over at Eliza and smiled, gesturing to a bean bag, and nodded her head as Anna curled about her head. "I believe they are kittens Eliza, and a fan club? Oh dear...how did i manage that?" She asked her, stunned.

"Hmmm...no, because they are of human origin, we create them." She said to Jack and smiled once more, "I'm pleased you feel that way about my subject too," She laughed.

As a new girl wandered into the office, Ophelia smiled warmly. She watched her snoop about in an amused way, she didn't really mind, but it was interesting watching it happen. The kitten approached her and she smiled benignly as she played with it gently. As the sweetie went to sleep she moved a spare bean bag for it to be set down on. "Just place her there Aurora, beautiful name by the way." She smiled, passing the cookie plate about.

Alicia took a cookie and sat down on a blue bean bag. "My holiday was nice. But it felt to long and to short at the same time. I was wondering if you would need any help setting up for classes and such. I love magical creatures and would be happy to help," she said.

Jack smiled and said "Oh ok....so...we will be studying all those magnificent creatures...I personally want to know about unicorns" she said

Ophelia nodded kindly in agreement, "I can say the same for mine, no matter how much i enjoyed it, it always seemed to be far to short. As for the lessons...I do believe i'm going to be perfectly alright...if i do need your help though i will call for you Alicia," Professor Maline smiled brightly at her.

Professor Maline tilted her head to the side curiously, Anna the snake hissing calmly, "I'm sorry, all my lessons are planned...and...which creatures did you have in mind Jack?" She asked her not understanding which 'magnificent creatures' she was talking about.

Alicia smiled back. "Thank you Professor Maline. I better go," she stood up. "Bye!" Alicia called over her sholder and walked out of the office.

"I'm Amanda Madigan. Second year. It's nice to meet you Alicia," Amanda said, smiling at her.

"Hi Oph ... I mean Professor Maline," Amanda said, taking a seat in a comfy bean bag. "So, how are you?"
Amanda smiled at Professor Maline and looked around the office.
"You have such an amazing office, Professor," she said, noticing Bob. "So, is Bob a heavy sleeper?"
Amanda just had to ask, with all the noise of students coming in and out.

OOC: Out of her cupboard?!?

Jasmine came in with the others and still holding Felix sat on one of the comfy bean bags.Smiling and looking at the professor she said," Hello again Prof. Maline. I brought the kneazle back with me, as you can see he is doing great!" Jasmine let Felix go and he walked around with not even a hint of a limp. Then he jumped up on the Professor's desk to say hello. Smiling brightly Jasmine went on to say," I hope it's OK I named him Felix. I couldn't keep calling him just kneazle. And besides he was very lucky I found him so I thought Felix fit." Jasmine looked at the professor a bit worriedly hoping that naming him was OK.

"Goodbye!" She called waving good bye to her. She took a cookie and bit into it once more.

She curled her mouth into a very amused smirk as Amanda almost called her by her first name and the smiled properly at her, "I'm perfectly fine thank you," She spoke happily and then nodded happily.
"My office is rather comfortable, i have to admit," she giggled, finishing her cookie.
She looked over at Body-less Bob and sighed, "Oh, you have no idea Amanda," She sighed again as Body-less Bob began too roll over in his sleep.

OOC - Oh you know it. She was feeding...it.

She beamed brightly when Jasmine wandered into her office, "Hello Jasmine!" She laughed warmly, as the kneazle made himself familiar with her office. She smiled, very impressed with Jasmine's work and handling of the caring of the Kneazle and nodded happily. "I can see Felix is doing perfectly well," Ophelia smiled. "It's fine that you named him, it fits him, and i do believe he's yours any way Jasmine. I'm very very proud of you for looking after him so well though Jasmine." Professor Maline said seriously.

Jasmine beamed at Professor Maline," You mean I can keep him?!" Laughing in delight Jasmine called to Felix," Did you hear that Felix?" Felix purred, jumped off the desk and into her lap. Jasmine picked him up and gave him a big kiss on his forehead. Hugging Felix to her chest she looked back at the professor and said seriously," Thank you Professor Maline for believing in me enough to let me take care of him. And I absolutely enjoyed every second of taking care of him. I love all creatures. We have a special... bond." Jasmine blushed madly as she realized she almost gave her secret away.

"It is comfortable," Amanda said in agreement. "I just love these bean bags! The classrooms should get some."
Amanda giggled and looked over to Bob.
"I like him better when he's awake," Amanda said. "He's so hilarious, even though he can be a pain in the rear."
Amanda paused and remembered about the Puffskeins.
"Your Puffskeins in the Creature Room have grown fond of me, I think. They can't get enough of me. (I'm just making sure they stay away from my nose!)"

OOC: Okay. Now I am scared.
