Natalie nodded, slowly, rather amazed by the birds. "They are very fascinating, Profesor Maline. I've never seen such creatures before. Where on earth did you find them?" she asked, rather interested about these birds.

Natalie nodded, agreeing with what Professor Maline was saying. "You're right, Professor. Absoloutly right! I'm glad that I can see past this...mask they've been creating for years. They brainwashed me for some time, now I know better." she smiled, feeling rather happier with herself than she had a minute ago.

Natalie's smile faded as the Professor explained the effects of the birds, she nodded. "Very well. They won't kill him, just confuse him, yes? I'm all right with that." It means I'll be the one who can murder him. she thought, darkly. A very cruel smirk appearing on her face, which made her look rather mad.

"I'm afraid they found me." She said simply. Her voice was worn with some kind of labour that the birds had poured upon her, they'd been attracted to her loss and her sorrow, yet there was the darker side of Ophelia that they thrived upon, twisting it until Ophelia knew what she was meant for.

"Parents do that, they think its the best thing for their children i'm afraid." She replied once more, thinking of Erinelle and her twin.

"I don't think they know how to kill, but confuse and make you ill, oh yes, they know how to do that." She answered, noticing Natalies dark expression. Yet she didn't say anything.

Natalie still had quite a dark look on her face as she gazed at the Professor. Her eyes were now glinting with determination.
She was suprised as Professor Maline said the birds found her, yet her expression didn't change. "Is that a bad thing, Professor? How did they find you?"

Natalie shrugged, "My parents thought wrong." she nodded, "They don't know what's best for me. I know what's best for this world, and what's best for this world is if I kill my father!"
She suddenly paused and raised her hand to her mouth, she had accidentally let slip what she would do. She didn't want to tell anyone that she would kill her own father, nobody except Eliza knew that those were her plans.

She looked at the Professor with a rather shocked look on her face, she didn't know how the Professor would react to knowing Natalie was planning to kill her own father. Natalie thought she must be angry at her, but Natalie didn't exactly have a normal father. He was a crazed lunatic in Natalie's mind.

Ophelia's white golden skin glimmered softly in the sunlight, she turned and Anna hissed once more, slinking down her legs. Ophelia's eyes were sad, and there was glimmers of loss and fury mixed within the cerulean pools. "Things have happened to me that i'd rather not discuss." She replied bluntly, the sorrow pulsating through her voice was clear something was amiss. "It's not a bad thing, i love all animals, but these...these push me to my limit. I'm determined to find out about them." Professor Maline explained.

Turning to face Natalie, she smiled with dark amusement. "I think your heart is in the right place, but your sense of right and wrong is marred with your hatred. Maybe it is best if he is killed, but maybe not by you." Ophelia said calmly, hardly phased by the angry spurt that had leaked from Natalie. Oh no. She had felt like that once too.

Natalie nodded, understanding completly. "I understand, Professor." she said in a quiet voice, "But what I meant was, how do the birds find us? Are they attracted to something? To sadness, maybe?" she asked.

Natalie shook her head stubbornly, "No, Professor! I wish to kill him, my self. I REALLY want to be the one who does it. He's made my life terrible, I would love to be the person to silence Andrew Lestrange." Her eyes were wide with determination, and they were sparkling brightly, they always did when she had her mind set on something. "He may be my father." she said in a hushed voice, "But I don't care. He's never been there for me, he's never been my father. I was just a pawn in his search for power. Think how he would feel if his own daughter was to kill him." She started to laugh, but after a few moments she stopped, "He would feel like I do now. Shocked, scared, alone." she finsihed on a much unhappier tone of voice.

She gave a mournful sigh and answered, "To loss, to deep intense loss," She explained and her voice had never sounded so empty.

Watching Natalies face and listening to her intently, Ophelia made no move to stop her, no intention of saying 'no'. Instead, she nodded, and Anna gave a hiss of twisted delight. "I understand. You need to feel like you have finally rid yourself of him. I'm not going to take that from you, although i do advise you to be careful. As for feeling the way you do, it'll pass. I promise."

Natalie nodded, sadly. "Oh, er..I'm sorry, Professor Maline." she spoke, quietly and she looked down at her hands, awkwardly.

Natalie nodded, "My determination may pass, Professor, but I know that my plans to kill my father will not. I'm sure I'm going to do this. I really am. But I'll need to be carefull, otherwise the aurors will be after me. But still, I am going to wait untill I finish my education at least. The more I am educated, the more I know, the more chance I have of succeeding in the riddance of my father." She gave a final nod and crossed her eyes, a look of excitment on her face.

She caught sight of the snake and smiled slightly, she'd always liked serpants, they were always amongst her favourite creatures.
"What a beautiful snake, Professor Maline." she commented, "She looks ever so powerful!" she smiled.

"Don't be sorry, it hadn't anything to do with you." She replied calmly, as though nothing had happened.

"Sensible way to go about it Natalie, i'll give you that, but don't indulge with me anymore of your plans to destroy your father, you must remember i'm still a Professor and ideally, i wish for you to remain in school to achieve your full potential, not to wreack havoc upon the life of you father." Ophelia reminded her gently, she was still not moved by the idea of Natalie killing, she felt no need to judge her.

She nodded once more as Anna was noticed and she smiled, "Yes, she is, she is incredibly powerful too." Ophelia spoke and watched as Anna reared her fangs again.

After waiting awhile longer Jasmine decided that the student before her must need special attention and she didn't want to interrupt on that time. Standing up she gathered her animals and slowly walked down the hall. Maybe a nice walk would help clear her head of unpleasant thoughts. Yes a walk. Now knowing where she was going, Jasmine picked up her pace, all of a sudden she quite wanted to be outside and away from people in general.

Natalie nodded, calmly. "Very well, Professor. I understand your position must be awkward with me talking this way. I'm sorry." she crossed her arms and gazed out of the window for a second then turned back to look at the snake again.

She smiled, "Really? What can she do?" she asked, curiously. She'd always taken a liking to snakes, they seemed very fascinating to her.

She had a feeling Jasmine was still waiting outside the door, and quickly scribbled a note down, reminding herself to find the youngster as soon as she could.

"Don't be, really, you have every right to be curious," Professor Maline said and absently watched Anna hiss once more. "She kills, instantly, anything." Ophelia replied, "Fascinating to watch."

Natalie's eyes widened in excitment as Professor Maline explained about the snake. "Woah!" she said with a grin on her face. I could use one of them! she thought to herself. "I expect it is very fascinating to watch!" she smirked, "Where can I get one of them, Professor?" she asked, hoping she could get one.

She flicked her eyes upwards towards Natalie, the cerulean orbs were dark. "That is something you must find out yourself. I suggest you don't get one. You don't understand how powerful and hard to control snakes like Anna is." Professor Maline said sharply.

Natalie nodded, "I expect it's difficult, but wow! She's so cool!" she beamed at the snake, sounding like a little child. She looked up at Professor Maline, suddenly remembering something.

"Oh yes! Darn, I forgot to tell you. Professor! Ringo and my father are planning on sabotaging Eliza! I took a letter from him in the common room, knowing it was from my father and he was telling Ringo to lead Eliza into the library, and leaving her there." she explained, sounding worried. "Surely, my father cannot come into the castle, can he? I mean, especially now that your birds have gone after him!"

She sighed with relief, worried that Natalie would get herself a snake and not know how to handle it's power. "She is incredibly cool," She laughed then stared with shock at Natalie.

"He's what?" She replied, a note of fury ringing through her voice. "My birds will most likely do the job," She continued, wondering what to do about Ringo.

Natalie nodded, "I know. It's strange of him. I don't know what's gotten into him. He used to be quite innocent, he wouldn't hurt another student, and he would definatly not help my father! Something must have happened to change him, unless he just wanted me to trust him so he could hurt me!" she finished on a very bitter tone. At the moment, everything about Ringo disgusted her. "He's just like my father!" her eyes glittered with fury.

"It seems i need to speak to him, as soon as possible," Ophelia said quietly and a glimmer of anger passed over her rather pretty features. She looked out the window once more, then turned back to Natalie. "Any idea where he might be?" She asked.

Natalie noticed a look of anger pass over Professor Maline's face. Ringo would be in deep trouble now.
She shook her head, "Sorry, Professor. I'm not sure, he may be in Hogsmeade by now. But if he's plotting to bring Eliza into the library, maybe he'll be there."

Ophelia nodded, then sighed once more, "I'm afraid Natalie, that i'm going to have to leave now. You're welcome to just hang about here, but it's up to you. Thank you for telling me this Natalie." She said gently and kindly, then left the office in a haze of deep azure robes.

Natalie shook her head, "No I think I'll go down to Hogsmeade." she said before Professor Maline left. She smiled, got up and left after the Professor, thinking she might as well get out of the castle while she could.

Jasmine had tried once more to talk to Professor Maline but she wasn't in her office. She thought about leaving a note ,but decided against it. She could deal with this on her own. She just wanted someone's advice she trusted. As she was about to turn and leave the professor's office Fallon flew in the window and landed on the ledge. The hawk gave her a somewhat scolding glare and let out a loud screech. Jasmine frowned at the bird and said," I know what I'm doing Fallon. Don't worry about it." She then turned swiftly and left the office. Fallon stayed on the ledge a moment longer staring after her, head turned to the side, and if one had to say,a look of worry in it's eyes.

Odyssey was at it again; he had quietly flown out of the window, to see his old master – Yes, that temptation did come over him sometimes – and when he returned, he was surprisingly carrying a letter.

Swooping down, he gently dropped it on to the desk, before finding himself a comfortable corner in the office he had become so accustomed to, bathing in a warm, reddish glow as the sunlight filtering through the window fell over him.

That was all the letter said – Short and simple, but it still managed to convey everything necessary in its brief, elegant way.

He left a trail of dirt and blood on the professor's floor.

Professor Maline walked back into her office, and quickly summoned chairs. Such pieces of furniture were not ever used in her office unless it was serious.

"Jasmine, you may choose, Chair or Bean bag. Ringo, chair, Kat, bean bag." She said, then sat in a chair herself, leaning upon her desk. "Ringo. Jasmine. Tell me everything." She demanded, but her gaze was soft.

Jasmine looked at Ringo and shook her head. "I don't know why you won't let people help you." Sighing again, Jasmine plopped into a bean bag.
