History
Hershey comes from an old wizard family with old family money. She never needed anything that she didn't have already and there was nothing she wanted that she couldn't get. Though family get togethers were never predictable, they were often.

Her father owns and operates a Common Welsh Green Dragon reservation in the Welsh Snowdon Mountains. The family sometimes lives on the compoud at the other side of the mountain, but also owns a house in the Vale of Glamorgan. Though her father himself had been privately tutored, her mother had attended Hogwarts, so Hershey and her brother and sister were all given the choice to go off to school or to stay home. Her siblings chose to stay, but Hershey, always wanting to learn new things and go to new places, elected to go. She started Hogwarts in the fall of 2072 and immediately made many friends among her fellow first years.

Hershey had always known that she wanted to work with her father and the dragons. For as long as she could remember, dragons were her favorite topic of conversation and dreams. Care of Magical Creatures class became her most favorite. After graduation, Hershey decided to pursue a career in the field and earn a few degrees while she worked alongside her father, but Stafford thought that his youngest daughter should choose a different path in life, a little less dangerous. They came to an agreement where she would continue her education and find work somewhere that would increase her experience. If she finished school and still wanted to work on the reservation, he would take her on, but a little at a time.

Determined to prove to her father that she desperately wants to work with magical creatures of all sorts, but especially dragons, Hershey went searching for a job at the Ministry of Magic.



Personality
Family values and pride were instilled in her at a very early age, and thus, her family is most important to her. She is very bright and catches on quickly which was probably why she'd been sorted into Ravenclaw house. Though, she does have the qualities of a Slytherin, which definitely runs in the family.

She's pretty much a typical McKenna. She works hard, she enjoys the finer things in life, she's confident and sure of herself, she knows how to get what she wants, she has a fabulous sense of fashion, she is proud and she has big dreams that she's not afraid of doing whatever she can to achieve. Despite her family's reputation, she is nice to strangers unless given a reason not to be, and loyal to her friends.

Personality: Cale Newell loves being the center of attention and takes charge whenever an opportunity presents himself. He likes to be goofy, but knows when to be serious as well. He likes to be a mentor and loves giving advice to people (whether they want it or not).

He can have a bit of an ego and has some self-esteem issues, but nothing compared to when he was in school. He cares deeply about his family and has learned to put his children and wife ahead of himself. It is because of that need to provide a steady and delightful childhood for his kids that he went looking for a better job in the first place.

History: Cale Markus Newell was born in London and moved to Edinburgh with his parents when he was 10 years old. His father sadly passed away later that year, and because his mother Beth wanted the family to stay together, he was homeschooled until his fifth year.

Even though he was a non-traditional student, he was sorted over the summer preceding his fifth year into Gryffindor. Apparently there was a shortage of boys in Gryffindor at the time, and because of this and his stellar marks on his homeschooling material, he was named prefect before he even got to school!

His three years at Hogwarts were the best, thanks in part to the fact that he met the love of his life, Anna Greingoth, while in school. After they graduated, he proposed to Anna despite the fact that she had a year of school left to go. The couple were married and had their twin children, Caleb and Sophie, shortly after Anna graduated.

Cale had trouble finding what he wanted to do in life, despite the number of decent entry-level jobs his NEWT grades allowed him to acquire. Eventually he started looking into broom manufacturing and other forms of transportation due to his early interest in Quidditch and brooms (he played Chaser all three years in school). After a VERY brief (and misguided) stint in Healing School, Cale heard that a former classmate of his, Gabriela Schultz, was moving to France to be with her boyfriend. He applied for the position and was selected due to his excellent grades in school, his past prefect position, and his various jobs and experience in areas of transportation.

Reese has naturally curly hair that was once never seen in public because she would straighten it until her last at Hogwarts where she tended to keep it curled due to the fact that she never felt like straightening it in the mornings. After getting a management job at the clothing shoppe, she went back to straightening her hair on a daily basis -- and now she has more days where her hair is straight than days where it is curly. This young woman also has naturally blonde hair that is (sometimes) kept a nice shade of brown. Her hair is most of the time fashioned in a down style kind of way, but that does not mean she does not like wearing her hair in a pigtail or bun, using her nice colorful hairbands that she owns.

She was born with chocolate brown eyes that were eventually magically changed to sky blue a few years after graduation. Being envious of woman with beautiful blue eyes, she had taken the initiative to change her own eye color to make herself happy -- and now her eyes are her best feature, in her own opinion.

Standing at a whopping 5 ft 7, this girl doesn’t need to wear heels, but she still does. The taller, the better. She also adores green converses, or any color converses for that matter. If she isn’t styling her converses, she’ll be wearing a nice pair of heels (that AREN’T ugly, Torin Kane) that she tries to correspond to her outfit of the day. Usually, this girl likes wearing a comfortable pair of blue jeans, a nice shirt, and a few pieces of jewelry. She does own some really nice dresses that she’ll wear on different occasions. She will ALWAYS have a big purse with her. How else would she carry all her make up and other (useless) items?

Personality:
Reese is what some people classify as ‘The Crazy Woman’. She has a tendency to throw kitchen spoons and forks if she gets really upset with someone, and even though she can get mad, that doesn’t mean that she will not be hugging you once she cools down. Her plans for each day of the year are to hang out with friends and go shopping! It is a wonder as to why this woman is not bankrupt yet because of her addiction to shopping. She is always supporting a smile upon her face (that’s IF she isn’t mad) and would choose to make all friends instead of enemies. Yet, you cannot make friends without making a few enemies along the way.

She has a passion for music and she is not afraid to let people know that. Even though she’s been kicked out of the music business before, she still wants to sing her little heart out… and hopes someone is around to listen. Yes, this woman loves the spotlight. She has a talent to play the guitar, which she tries to play at least once a day, if anything. Believe it or not, she also had a talent to skateboard because of her brother’s passion for that hobby. It would be a shocker today if she was seen skateboard since she said "goodbye" to her board a long time ago.

After Reese has had two little children, she has a strong tendency to show a motherly personality at times because it has what she has been use to for many years.

SPOILER!!: Early Life/Hogwarts Years

Reese Selena Northway, who is not yet an Upstead, was born at 8:30 PM on September 1, 2052 in Sutton Coldfield, England. Her family at the time of her birth consisted of her father, mother, and older brother. Jake, her father, worked at the Ministry in the Department of Magical Transportation. Her mother, Victoria, was a stay at home mom, who worked non-stop to keep the house cleaned. Her older brother, Ryan, was a squib and performed at numerous skateboarding competitions throughout his younger life up until his little sister was born.

A year after Reese's birth, her mother left her father for reasons unknown, leaving her and Ryan with their father. The children were left clueless as to what was happening because they were too young at the time to understand much. A long six months passed before Jake got remarried (rather quickly, we must say) to Lillian Matthews, who Reese grew up and was fed lies to about being her real mother, which Lillian was far from. Ryan, who understood that Lillian was not their mother, was too scared to tell his little sister to truth because of how his father might react to it.

It is unknown why their father fed lies to Reese, maybe it was because he wanted to completely forget Victoria even existed. Sadly, his lies never did cease, even when Reese started Hogwarts at the age of 12 (2064); she started at the age of 12 because of the month her birthday is in. It was a tragic morning one day when Reese got a letter from her lying father that stated that her brother, Ryan, had passed away in a tragic accident. [Here's the truth story, which Reese laters finds out about: Victoria came back to London to take custody of her children after all these years but since Ryan was the only one in London, she took only him back to Ireland with her. Since Reese was in school, she wanted to wait until her little daughter was out of school before bringing her back to live with her. And the wait begins...]

To help Reese cope with the loss of her older sibling, her dad and stepmother thought it would be an excellent idea to adopt an older boy. It was during the summer before Reese's second year of Hogwarts (2065 - 2066) when Reno was adopted, and everything went downhill after the welcoming of this boy. Reno was the main reason why Reese was driven away from her home because of personal issues with her new adopted brother; she ended up moving in to live with her godmother, Elizabeth Turner.

Life got better for the young girl now.

She lived with her godmother for two years (2066 - 2068). In 2067 while still living with her godmother, Reese discovered all the secrets her dad had been keeping from her for years. She discovered the truth by finding an old picture in her godmother's house, and the picture revealed to the young one that Lillian was not her real mother; the picture was of her family before Victoria had left. Her godmother found a way to let Reese get in touch with her mom, who was still living in Ireland with Ryan at the time, and the phone call revealed that her brother was still alive -- it was a happy moment for the girl. A very happy moment.

Throughout her entire fourth year of Hogwarts (2067 - 2068), she kept in touch with her biological mother and her brother through letters. Everything seemed to be cheering up for the young one, but it was not long before everything went tumbling downhill yet again. Her mother told Reese that she wanted her to move up to Ireland with her and Ryan, and she also wanted Reese to attend a private school because she thought Hogwarts was just too dangerous. She refused to move, but her mother would have the last word.

Luckily, her mother had found someone up in Ireland that she soon married (very quickly too), and this man was Heath Upstead. Victoria, who is now an Upstead, and Ryan moved back to England with Heath to be with him and his sons and when everything got settled down, Reese moved in with her mom and new stepdad. It did not take long for the girl to realize that she was now related to this Hufflepuff boy she knew at school, Jake Upstead. She also began an older stepsister to Heath's younger son, Dale. Knowing that Reese wanted nothing to do with her biological father and wanted to move away from that life, Heath made the decision to adopt both her and Ryan into his family, which legally changed their last names to Upstead.

Reese Upstead was now born, and she refuses to be known as a Northway now.

Her last name was not the last major event in this young girl's life. Good things began happening to Reese now, and her life began to get better and better. Her love life began to blossom at the end of her fifth year (July 2069). Her and Jack Fritzera, who was a Gryffindor, began dating. This was not the first rodeo for Reese because she had a little kiddie relationship in her first year, but this was the first major relationship she had been in -- and it was the last one.

In Reese's seventh year (2071), she had the fabulous opportunity to be the Slytherin female prefect, and she carried her badge with pride. She was involved in the fight club with a few other students. She had been under the Imperious curse and was forced to fight against her fellow Hogwarts friends, and this event led her to shunning butterbeer all together because the butterbeer was what caused her to become under the Imperius curse. Jack also gave her a promise ring in their seventh year, which was such a happy moment for Miss Upstead. Her and Jack will also named "cutest couple" in their seventh year yearbook.

Reese graduated from Hogwarts in 2071 alongside her boyfriend, Jack. She quickly went off to bigger and better things, but she did not expand her life in the wizarding world. While her boyfriend became the seeker for the Ballycastle Bats, she decided to go solo in her music career, which took off years ago when she was the guitarist and background singer for Lima's, her friend, little band, Lima and the Lemurs. She continued to work at the same studio that the band had recorded at and everything was going great until she lost her temper one day with the studio manager, who she had known for years. The manager had tried telling her that the song they were recording was not "fit" for her, and Reese argued with him until she got to the point where she broke her wand in two out of pure anger. She left the studio and never returned.

On July 4, 2072, Reese got married to Jack Fritzera at Disneyland, California in front of Cinderella's castle. It was a happily ever after for the two.

After leaving the studio, Reese went unemployed for a few months following the incident until she was offered a job as a waitress in a very unpopular restaurant in downtown muggle London. Not having much of a choice, Reese had to accept the offer and began working there until she had her first child, Georgina Whitney. She quite due to motherhood because her waitress job was too demanding for the new mother; she soon got a job at Emiliano Saenz's, one of her best friends, mom's clothing shop. In 2075, Emliano and Reese opened up another clothing shop in London for his mother and became managers for the shop. Reese welcomed another baby, Torin Jake (name after Reese and Jack's friend and her brother), into her family in 2077 while she was still managing the clothing shop. She now had the perfect husband and two perfect children.

Reese helped run the clothing shop with her friend for six years before applying for the ministry; she decided it was time to get her feet wet in the wizarding world once again. She still helps Emiliano in the shop, but she will have a new life in the wizarding world now.

History -
Chelsea came into the world one late night on October 10th, 2062 to her young, widowed mother, Jasmine Winnington (née Tivoli). A few weeks earlier than expected, Chelsea's birth came as a surprise to much of her family since her mother's pregnancy went as well as can be expected, under the circumstances. From the very first night, the child had a mind of her own, and a full personality. Trouble, is what her grandfather called her affectionately. And trouble, is what she became.

At the tender age of two, Chelsea was your average, happy, fearless toddler who wanted to see, and explore, everything and anything within eye-sight. She quickly became a handful for her mother, who luckily had her father, and siblings, to help when she needed them. And of course, the man her mother had been seeing, too. Jasmine worked at her family's bakery, later named after her mother ("Johanna's Bakery"), when she met Nikolas Mae, a young man studying dragonology in Romania with every intention of becoming a dragonkeeper. While home to visit his family, Nikolas had come in to pick up a order made by his mother, and for him, it was 'love at first sight' when he spotted Jasmine, although that's not the way she would tell it. After coming in a couple more times, just to see her (although he did try to cover it up by buying something each time), the man asked Chelsea's mother if she would allow him to take her out on a date, to which she refused without explanation. Several failed attempts later, and with the help of one of Jasmine's sisters, she finally agreed to one date. And as they say, the rest, was history. Or.. sort of.

Shortly after Nikolas and Jasmine married, Nikolas adopted Chelsea as his own with permission from her birth father's family. The small family of three remained in Italy for some time, before moving to Romania so Nik could continue his studies, and start working hands-on in a reserve. And not long after that, Chelsea became a big sister to her little brother, Kristopher Ethan Mae. Since the first day Kristopher arrived in the world, he and Chelsea became inseparable.

The September before Chelsea's twelfth birthday was a hard one for the siblings, especially Kristopher, who wouldn't be able to follow his sister to school for a few more years. None the less, they both made it through. Chelsea began her education at Durmstrang Institute as planned, and later, when it was his turn, Kristopher joined her. Seven years came and went, leaving Chelsea with many good friends and a younger brother to leave behind as her seventh year came to an eventful end. Her original plans of going to a wizarding university somewhere close to home, with every intention of studying dragons, were also put on hold. She changed her mind, Chelsea told her parents upon arriving home. She wanted something new, a totally different adventure all her own - which, after several long discussions, led to Chelsea making a big move from her home in Romania, to staying with her aunt and uncle in England.

Currently enrolled in London WU, Chelsea also works at the Ministry of Magic within the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, as the new albino bloodhound handler intern.

Job Description: Oversees the Department of Mysteries and assures that things run accordingly whilst studying and collecting the information given in prophecies in order to test their relevancy to one another and how they may pertain to the governing body of Wizarding Britain and/or the welfare of her citizens.

Personality: Jasper is a very much a product of his environment. An emotional creature, with a flexible temperament who was exposed to mysticism during his youth and who did not stand in defense when his worth became hinged strongly upon his gift and he learned to calculate his value based on what he was instead of who he was. That, on it's own had the ability to shape his insecurities. Then factor in sleeping issues due to the frightening and sporadic experience of having a prediction and you have a workable base from which many of Jasper's troubles could've sprung.

For the most part Jasper is an emotional personality. Given this fact and his own turbulent history he isn't terribly likely to pass judgement on his fellow workers and will likely sympathize with any sob story anyone takes to him (whether or not they deserve it). He prefers to feel situations out rather than calculate them, although his intuition might be right on the money. He often appears to be weak or milquetoast as he is quite passive and more likely to show compliance than to raise a fuss. However weak may not be entirely accurate as he seems to always have the reserve to get back up when down.


History: Jasper's history with this line of work goes back to his youth when he got his first taste of what prophecies were and how they work. The ability ran sparingly through his fore-mother's line, but when it did show, it was often quite intense and caused eventual insanity. Having that dire consequence in mind, Jasper's parents enrolled him in a form of therapy they thought would cease the sudden bouts though all it did was cause them to happen in a more controlled manner. Being removed from that therapy, Jasper went on to Hogwarts where he suffered from a dependency on sleeping potions in order to help himself focused on his studies. A habit that was shaken and rejuvenated throughout his life, although he no longer uses them.

When Jasper became an adult, he found work in a local book store. The pay was not tremendous, but the quiet, simple work allowed him time to try and gain a hold upon his health. It was from here that he'd learned about a Noble Arts Festival, where witches and wizards interested in the field could meet for a weekend of trade, workshops, and networking. Jasper saved his money and purchased entry. The event changed his life. Jasper soon became acquainted with the right people that could propel him forward in life if he were willing to sell-out and use his inner eye. After making that decision in favour of doing so, Jasper's life became a series of unrelenting ups and downs. At it's pinnacle, he worked for important governmental figures dealing with and earning a great deal of wealth, at it's lows Jasper was institutionalized suffering from weakened nerves and living in a surprising amount of poverty after being taken for a ride by a flim-flam wizard.

Down but not out, Jasper picked himself up with the help of an old acquaintance by the name of David Chittaranjan Kapoor. Mr. Kapoor & his wife ran a program specifically designed to help people with the sight cope with some of the less pleasant aspects of that gift. After hearing about his misfortunes, the Kapoors offered him their services and the results thus far have been beneficial to both parties. Although still fragile of the nerves Jasper no longer relies on dangerous self-medication and is slightly less prone to self-destructive coping methods and has been for more than a decade.

Work Life: Further adding to this rare stability in Jasper's life came about when he applied and was offered a job at the Ministry as the Department of Mysteries new Prophecy Collator. His interest in the work from both a personal and professional perspective made the work enjoyable and interesting even if not terribly relaxing. As someone who was well-connected within the seer community, Jasper was also hard at work occasionally collecting prophecies in the field, bringing them back for storage and analysis. With the addition of new prophecies to the archives, Jasper began a retabulating project so as to keep a written record of the prophecies that had ever come through the department and just in time too as about a year after being hired on the entire Ministry was nearly devoured by chizpurfles and some (but not all) of the orbs were destroyed. The tome which contains the prophecies is heavily guarded, however and if not an Unspeakable one would need the utmost of luck, cleverness and care to access it's contents.

In just another fadic twist of Jasper's life, his own prophecy (which he has no recollection of having given due to being obliviated by the former Department Head of Mysteries) he has yet to be unturned by him. Strangely, the prophecy concerned the incumbent Brennan Cooper and his own Undersecretary Reagan Taylor during a former election year.

Relationships: Jasper's longest running relationship is the friendship he shares with Miss Astoria "Ria" Ward, the sister of a housemate Jasper attended Hogwarts with. Although having more superficial commonalities with her brother, Jasper and Ria made for close mates both sharing a love of the arts, literature and books, and most importantly, ballroom dance. The two first met at a ballet class and have since around the age of 14 competed and won many partnered competitions within the community. The two have not grown apart, but Jasper hasn't been a very good communicator as of late and neglected to invite Ria to the 97th Annual Wizarding Waltz Congress. He instead invited a witch he'd met in Diagon Alley whilst buying a wireless so that he could listen to Celestina Warbeck. With the departure of Mr. Ashby Summers as Department Head, Jasper's closest relationship at work is probably Simon Bennett. Although years and experience place them far apart, Jasper finds Simon to be and ideal employee and model young wizard. If ever Jasper has business at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement he tends to think of Simon first, even before Department Head Emily Browne. Born on one of the warmer days during the summer of 2058 to Leona and Demetri Flores, Evelyn was much loved when she was younger. And even though they pushed her to her limits to be the very best she could be, one could tell from a mile away she was the light of their lives. Yet, as she and her curiosity grew, things started to change.

Most often then none, Evelyn was left alone in their large home to wander about, though never permitted to go outside without company. Unfortunately, her adventures indoors had her stumbling across a small hidden room, filled with new and old books, scattered papers, notes, crumpled parchments stacked high, and a handful of scrolls. Being one that loved to learn and make her parents proud, she kept quiet about the room and decided to surprise her parents in the end.

However, such information was not for young children. Handwritten by generations of family members on her father's side, the room held much information about people, languages, plants, creatures, notes from schools, and a wide variety of spells, maps, and questioning topics such as food and drinks, all geared towards one particular topic. Dark Arts wasn't a foreign magic for her family, but it was indeed forbidden to speak of such things around other members. Their reputation was far more important then their fascinations. Yet being the youngster she was, she didn't know what the information the room held was really about, though she did have a great fascination whenever the topic of 'fire' came up in the readings. And the more she read, the more her attitude became rebellious and obsessive. Her parents noticed the change and not wanting to deal with it themselves since they couldn't 'fix' her, they left Bibby to take care of her as they continues to focus on rising up in their business ranks and wizarding community.

Being home schooled before Hogwarts, Evelyn spent plenty of months by herself with normal textbooks, until she came to a point where she started to read out loud. At least to just hear someone's voice. A surprise was revealed soon after that they were going to be expecting another addition to their family; something that didn't quite suite well with the young girl since the center of attention would no longer be one her. Once her brother was born, never had she felt so frustrated and alone in her short life. Being a kid was tough! Yet long conversations with herself about this and that hadn't helped as her thoughts turned down a very winding road, and she seemed to have started to obtain a multiple personality disorder.

Of course, she somewhat gained control of it over the years, though had a particularly rough time during her school years with unpredictable nightmares. Especially when she was disowned halfway through her third year of school. But once a dark child, she'd grown up to be in control of her life and to finally see the positive side of things, though still struggled with her past and obsessions even today; the pyromania side of her more evident than ever. A career opportunity from a friend of her deceased Uncle had her accepting almost immediately to keep her mind focused and away from turning completely down the wrong route in life. While this new job of hers isn't the most legal, she finds peace within it.

History:

Lawrence was born to Halfblood David and Muggleborn Mackenzie Lee in January 11, 2056 in Hogsmeade Village. It was their second child, first boy. The couple had attended Hogwarts together, David older than Mackenzie by one year, and in the same house and started dating since David's fifth year, Mackenzie's fourth. Mackenzie was a professor of Scotland Wizarding University and David designed and made brooms for various teams and shops around the world. Today she is retired and he is still a broomstick designer.

Just a couple weeks before their fourth anniversary as a married couple, David and Mackenzie were told that she was with a second child. They were both not very happy. They hated children, and could have given anything to stop another kid from being born. To their dismay, eight months later, a cute little boy by the name of Lawrence Lee entered the world.

Lawrence was a mostly quite baby. This continued as he grew, and started reading all sorts of books at an early age. His childhood was not all happy though. He had to focus his attention elsewhere over the years. When Lawrence was four years old, his parents took his older sister Helen and him to his uncle and aunt's house and left. His life at his uncle and aunt's began at this point.

As soon as he was old enough, Lawrence began attending a muggle school. Up until his eleventh birthday, he attended a muggle school and learned things the muggle way before starting his wizarding education. Not that he was magic deprived. A few days after his tenth birthday, another baby arrived at the doorstep. This was Arthur, Lawrence's younger brother.

The five of them live in a small cottage in Portree and have a comfortable life from working and so Uncle Peter and Aunt Ellie were able to provide for a nearly comfortable life for their niece and nephews. On his eleventh birthday, Lawrence waited anxiously for her Hogwarts acceptance letter until finally, a Grey Owl dropped in through the living room window. It was no surprise that he was accepted. He was not the first in his family to attend the school. On his first day, Lawrence had been sorted into Ravenclaw rather than Gryffindor like his sister Helen, Hufflepuff, where Uncle Peter and Aunt Ellie belonged or Slytherin, where his parents were sorted into.

He went through his Hogwarts years as a normal student, doing exceptionally well in Transfiguration and Ancient Runes. After graduation, Lawrence applied to Scotland Wizarding University and gained entry. He majored in Magical and Muggle Law and Politics, but took other required Wizarding courses too. In 2080, Lawrence received his degree and almost immediately landed in the Office of Wizarding Law of the French Ministry of Magic.

After about two years of working, Lawrence returned to Britain and applying to the Ministry of Magic.

Sky grew up as the oldest of the children along with her twin sister, Caroline. She was exposed to magic since the day she was born, since her parents were both wizards.

Her little brother was born two years after her (2050) and the two year old hated Jay who cried all the time and was all her parents thought of. Luckily for both of them they out grew the hating stage.

In 2059 she received her Hogwarts letter and overjoyed eleven year old ran throughout the house screaming the news, her brother was very upset at the news. Unfortunately shortly before her second year her mum died in a car accident. Her father not being able to stay in London, uprooted their family and moved to Rome,Italy where their new life was supposed to begin.

Only two years after her mum's death her father met a woman named Serena Powers, a younger woman with no kids. Hating the fact that her father was moving on from her mother her siblings and her plotted on removing her from the equation. Sadly the plot worked the night before her father's wedding to Serena. Realizing their mistake Sky was sent into the 'enemy' camp and try to win her back.

Her father and Serena married in 2062 along with Serena came another addition Luke who had been born in 2061. A year later came Harry and soon afterwards in 2063 came Tom and Lana.

Happy to be away at Mist (the School in Italy) she gained the freedom she didn't have at home and became her own person.
