Personality
Evangeline can be a very quiet person to someone she is not familiar with. She tends to be trusting only with people she is close, and is a passionately loyal friend in return. Ruining that trust will not end well. That being so, she comes across as very reserved to those who she is not close with and can seem a little uptight.. Academics and work come easy to her. Wandwork is her favorite and is her biggest strength. She enjoys sparring and physical combat training to help her with her job.


Background
Evie grew up with her mom and didn’t meet her father until she was ten years old. Always wanting a father figure, it was very easy to love and trust him. Her father took them both back after divorcing his first wife (who was absolutely nutters) and Evie and her mother now live a much more comfortable life than before. When she met her father was when she also met her half-brother, Milton. At first, they were very standoffish of each other and didn’t get along. In fact, she quite despised him and didn’t want anything to do with him. However, over the years, they have grown much more fond of each other and Evie looks up to Milton. She enjoys visiting with him, his wife and baby, and their friends in California.

Until she was 14, Evie was homeschooled, much like her older brother, but she never liked it. She always felt like she was missing out on the social aspect of becoming a teenager. It took nearly a year to convince her father to let her go to Hogwarts. Evie can prove to be quite convincing and so she did convince her dad that she should finish her schooling at Hogwarts to prepare for her future.

Evangeline did excellent in all of her Hogwarts classes, save for a few. She didn’t quite have an Inner Eye to “see” things with and Ancient Runes gave her a headache, but she excelled in wandwork; specifically defensive spells, charms and transfiguration. It was in her fifth year at Hogwarts that she decided she wanted to become an Auror. She worked with the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at the time, Sabel Dakest, to improve and train and eventually got a letter of recommendation from him that helped her land a spot in the Ministry’s YATI Program in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

After Hogwarts, Evangeline enrolled in the Wizarding University of Edinburgh to study Wizarding Law and completed her degree in two years, thanks to a certain special family heirloom. During this time, Evangeline also started the Youth Auror Training Initiative in the British Ministry of Magic.

After completing YATI in three years, Evangeline took her test to become an Auror and succeeded, becoming close partners with Angelo Toussaint, a boy she met in Knockturn Alley when she was 14. To say the least, her and Angelo had somewhat of a... complicated relationship. But they worked very well together.

After working together as partners for a few years, Angelo and Evangeline grew closer and closer, though their complicated history sparked tension a lot. Eventually, after a few arguments and eventual, long awaited confessions, the two of them got together again. Angelo proposed to Evangeline in the summer of 2097. She said yes.

Evangeline married Angelo Toussaint in 2100 and they continued to work as partners in against crime as the power duo of Aurors at the Ministry. After the kidnapping of Department Head Alexa Cambridge, Evangeline was promoted to take her place as Department Head in 2101.
