Ferris was smiling until Vianna instructed him to not make her laugh, forcing his eyebrows to furrow slightly, confused. But as she continued on, telling him that she probably wouldn't be able to laugh for another two hours, he realized her sides must have been hurting from his earlier attack. He watched as she turned onto her back, staring up at the ceiling, and he frowned slightly. He hoped he hadn't actually hurt the girl when he tickled her, and he turned onto his side, facing her with his arms wrapped around her waist still. "I'm sorry," he told her, pressing a kiss to her cheek. |
Vianna turned her head to face the boy beside her after he placed a kiss on her cheek and apologized. "What?" She blinked. "No, no, Professor, don't be sorry," she told him, a smile coming to her lips and meeting her numb cheeks. "I just-- I laughed too much, even my face hurts a little from it," she admitted with a soft chuckle that made her stomach hurt slightly, but the soreness was going away quickly and she felt she might be back to normal in only a few minutes. "It's not your fault you're amusing," she added teasingly. |
Ferris slowly let a smile return to his face as the girl in his arms explained to him that he shouldn't be sorry, as she just laughed too much, and it wasn't his fault that he was amusing. He thought for a moment, "Of course it is...Maybe I should try not to be," he said jokingly, putting on a thoughtful face. "Hmm...What would you say if I promised to be a complete boring jerk for the next couple days? Sound good?" he asked her, stroking her side absentmindedly as though this would help remove the pain he knew she still had. |
Vianna's eyebrows rose and she gasped in mock disbelief at the boy's playful suggestion. "Don't you even think about it!" she replied to him, the smile on her lips widening slightly and filled with amusement. "I much prefer my sweet Professor... even if he does suffocate me with tickles," she said teasingly, her smile threatening to laugh but not doing so. |
Ferris grinned at her as she gasped, telling him not to even think about becoming a boring jerk for the next few days. He let out a small laugh of his own before listening as she told him that she much prefered her sweet Professor, even though he suffocated her with tickles. "I'll try to keep the suffocation down to a minimum," he promised her, refering to the 'suffocating' part of their conversation. He smiled slightly at her before leaning in to kiss her cheek warmly. |
"Good!" said Vianna as Ferris promised her to keep the suffocation down to a minimum before then awarding her with a kiss on the cheek. The girl beamed at him, merely watching him for a few silent moments before something else caught her attention. The door opened right at that instant and she jumped in surprise, quickly sitting up. "Oh geez," muttered Vince. "Can't stay off a bed, can you?" he asked the couple with a roll of his eyes. But he didn't seem to pay this much attention. "Victor and I are heading out, gonna get something to eat. You two should probably do the same," he said, as no one in the group - except Fluffy - had eaten before the trip. |
Ferris was admiring Vianna silently for a few moments as she seemed to positively respond to his promise to keep the suffocation to a minimum. But all traces of happiness were gone from his features at the sound of a door opening, and Vince joined them, complaining once more for their attraction to lounging on beds so often. He sat up as soon as Vianna did, his arms quickly dropping from her waist as he listened to Vince told them that he and Victor would be going out for food, and they should do the same. The boy gave a silent nod, sitting up straight, a little shaken from the unexpected addition to the room. |
Vianna, too, nodded her head and Vince gave the pair one last you-two-are-ridiculous type of look before closing the door and disappearing out of sight. Vianna watched the closed door blankly for a moment and let out a sigh of relief. "Thank Merlin that wasn't Victor," she muttered, still somewhat surprised though she was quick to get over the shock. "Do you wanna go get food, then?" she asked, turning to the boy beside her. "Maybe it'll help our brains and we can come up with something..." she added a bit more seriously, referring to their current issue of finding a disguise to be able to check up on the kidnappers. It seemed that Vince's presence had snapped her back to reality and reminded her of the reason why they were really here. |
Ferris let out a small sigh of his own as Vince left the room, watching as Vianna asked if he wanted to go get food, adding that eating might help them think of something. Suddenly reminded of their current situation, he gave a nod and got to his feet. It was funny how he could completely zone out around Vianna, and he had nearly forgotten their situation at the moment. "Yeah, let's go get something. I'm sure Fluffy's already hungry again as well," he said with a small smile. |
Vianna returned Ferris's smile and nodded her head at him before getting up to her feet as well. The girl then glanced around the room for her little squirrel, but she saw no sign of him anywhere. Her eyes widened slightly, that all-too-familiar feeling of panic that came whenever she didn't know of her squirrel's whereabouts quickly began to wash over her. But it didn't last long as she finally spotted Fluffy. He was clinging on to the curtains by the only window of the room, and he seemed not to know how climb back down. "Oh Merlin..." muttered Vianna, her forehead beginning to crease slightly. |
Ferris was looking to the floor absentmindedly as Vianna's eyes roamed around for her little squirrel, but he was caught out of his trance as she muttered under her breath, causing him to look up. "What?" he asked before following her line of sight to a furball clinging to the top of the curtains. He let out a soft chuckle, a little amused by the fact that Fluffy climbed up there but couldn't find his way down...Plus, it was just a funny sight to see a little squirrel clinging to curtains. He turned back to Vianna, "Do you need your tall, uncomfortable, boyfriend to get your squirrel down?" he asked her with a small, amused smile. |
Vianna turned from Fluffy and to the boy beside her as he spoke, asking her if she needed him to get the squirrel down. With a bit of slightly hurt pride, as she wished she could do the task herself without asking for help, Vianna nodded her head at Ferris. "I'd appreciate that," she told him before turning back to Fluffy who was looking around for a way down from the smooth fabric. |
Ferris gave her a small smile and a nod as she told him she'd appreciate the help. He then walked over to the curtains, only a couple feet shorter than where Fluffy was at. He looked up and gave a slight smile to the creature before reaching his long arms up towards the little fluffy tail. "Alright Fluffy, now cooperate with me, please," he spoke to the squirrel softly as he got closer and closer to grabbing him. OOC: I'm off for now Dee! I should be back in a little while! And hour or two...If not less! |
Fluffy glanced down as Ferris approached him, speaking to him in a language the squirrel obviously didn't understand. But his movements and gestures got the message across, and Fluffy understood that the boy had come over to help him down. The squirrel seemed to hesitate for a moment before allowing one of his tiny paws to release the fabric it had been holding on to so tightly, and a second after, he let go completely. Vianna's eyes widened as her squirrel fell down and landed smoothly on Ferris's curls. Once there, Fluffy took a moment to get himself together before climbing down Ferris's face carelessly, then down the boy's torso, then his leg, and eventually reached the carpeted floor. ooc: Alright, Ruthers! See you then! ^_^ |
Ferris was just about to pull Fluffy away from the curtains when the little creature decided to hop off and onto his head. It took him a moment, as he was a little surprised, to put his arms down and stood there frozen as Fluffy made his way down his torso and his leg to the carpet beneath their feet. Once he was sure the squirrel was done using him as a step ladder, he walked back over to Vianna with a rather annoyed look on his face. |
Vianna welcomed Fluffy into her hands as the squirrel made its way over to her before then turning to Ferris as the boy returned to her side with a rather annoyed look on his face. The girl tried not to giggle at his expression before asking, "What's wrong, Professor?" |
"You're squirrel is very rude," was the boy's response as he returned to Vianna's side. He shook his head before taking Vianna's hand and leading her from the room, his stomach grumbling as they started down the dusty hallway. This inn was rather strange, and very old, and poor Ferris couldn't help but sneeze as yet another wave of dust rose from the carpet to his nose. He let out a small sigh, cursing his own nose as they started to descend the staircase. |
Vianna listened to Ferris's very simple and straightforward response before she was led out of the room and into the dusty hallways of the old inn. "Aw, I'm sure he doesn't do it on purpose, Professor," said Vianna in response to the boy's earlier comment about her squirrel being rude. Though she couldn't deny it was rather amusing watching the furry little creature climb down his face to carelessly. But Vianna held back the urge to giggle for Ferris's sake, she didn't want the boy to think his discomforts were not being taken seriously. "Bless you," she added absentmindedly as he sneezed before continuing, "I think he does it because he's very comfortable around you." She smiled faintly at the boy. |
Ferris looked over at her with a slightly amused smile as she assured him that the squirrel probably didn't do it on purpose. "Thank you," he said as she responded to his sneeze, before listening as she added that Fluffy probably did that because he was very comfortable around him. The boy thought about this for a moment as they made their way through the small inn's front room, "Maybe...Or he just likes to use me as a ladder," he said with a soft chuckle, and it was obvious that Ferris wasn't upset by the squirrel's actions. He opened the door for the both of them, allowing Vianna to go first as was his instinct. |
Vianna could hide her amusement no longer as Ferris suggested that perhaps Fluffy simply liked using him as a ladder, and she giggled lightly. Her face was no longer numb and her sides didn't hurt as much when she did this, which came to her as a relief and guaranteed more laughter. "Well, whether he likes to use you as a ladder or not, I think you should feel very proud of yourself, Professor," said Vianna as she walked through the door when Ferris held it open for her. "You helped a poor, defenseless creature during its time of need!" |
Ferris's smile widened at the sound of her giggle, watching as she walked through the door telling him that he should've felt very proud to help a poor defenseless creature during its time of need. He let out a hearty laugh at this, amused by her, "Yes, I'm very proud," he agreed teasingly with a small nod, closing the door behind them and once more taking Vianna's hand in his own as they started down the road of the smaller town. "What're you hungry for?" he asked, turning his brown eyes back to her. |
Vianna smiled as Ferris agreed teasingly to her earlier words before the boy then asked her what she was hungry for. Vianna's brows furrowed slightly - but then, suddenly, her eyes widened and a grin lit up her face. "We're in England!" she announced, as if Ferris wasn't aware of this already. But this was good news for her, because it meant she no longer had to choose between dishes she knew nothing about. She was in a familiar environment, and the menu would even be in English! "I don't know what I'm in the mood for, but I'll find something when we get there," she said with a smile, suddenly more cheerful. "What about you?" |
Ferris was surprised as she suddenly announced they were in England and he gave her a smiling look that was obviously teasing her. "Yes, Vi, we are," he said in a tone that resembled the tone one would use with a crazy person. He soon let out a chuckle, breaking his expression as she told him that she didn't know what she wanted but she would choose something when they got there. "I see you're glad to be back understanding the language," he observed with a small smile as he thought over what he wanted. "I don't know...Why don't you choose a place for us?...Since for the last few days you haven't been able to." |
Vianna giggled like a giddy little kid to herself as Ferris pointed out that she seemed glad to be back to understanding the language, and she nodded her head to confirm this. But she turned a little more serious as he went on, now suggesting she choose a place for them to eat at. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly, not expecting this change of plans, but she grinned and nodded her head. "I will!" she said, turning away from the boy and glancing around the almost completely empty streets for any signs of a place where there would be food. |
Ferris couldn't help but to let out another soft laugh as the girl seemed completely enthused with his request that she pick their restaurant for the afternoon. He let out a small sigh of content, his brown eyes sweeping over the landscape as well as he examined their surroundings. It was strange being back in England, it felt very familiar and at the same time as though it was scarily different. He threw these thoughts to the back of his mind, and instead turned to his girlfriend who seemed to be searching the streets with her eyes to find a place to eat. |
