"I'm not sure," Vianna replied, her brows furrowing thoughtfully as she looked around the deserted streets. "I didn't really see one on our way here," she added. She looked around curiously, as if expecting a big sign to pop out of nowhere reading 'lake this way'. "Maybe we should try asking the locals again?" she suggested with a faint smile, turning to Ferris. |
Ferris shook his head immediately as the girl suggested asking the locals, after deciding that they weren't sure where to find a lake. "No, Vi. When it comes to lakes, we have to find them ourselves," he reminded her, as though this was a rule she should've been well aware of. "It's part of the fun." And with that, he pressed a kiss to her cheek and started out into the outskirts of the small town, which was a very green and grassy area. Soon enough, they had made their way out about a half mile from all of the small buildings and were simply walking around in the grass. |
Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris shot down her suggestion, reminding her that lakes were something they were supposed to look for themselves. The girl chuckled softly at this and nodded in agreement before his lips met her cheek. Smiling, she followed his lead further out into the outskirts of the small ghost town until the tiny town almost disappeared in the distance. Vianna looked around as they walked, enjoying all the nature that surrounded them as her eyes scanned the area for any signs of a lake. "Do you see anything?" she asked Ferris as she glanced around her right side, scanning the surroundings. |
Ferris turned back to the girl as she asked if he saw anything, "Nope," he answered, simply, with a smile. He watched her through his slightly squinted brown eyes in the sunlight for a moment, admiring the way her long hair blew in the breeze. In the next second, he had tackled Vianna down to the soft, tall grass, a grin on his pale face as he basically laid on top of her. His arms snuck around the girl as though nothing had happened and they had been sitting in this place for hours, completely consumed and invisible due to the tall grass that surrounded them. |
Vianna's lips turned into a pout as Ferris told her he didn't see anything either. She then sighed, taking another glance around, as if waiting for a lake to just magically appear out of thin air. But before she could even realize it, several things happened all at once - her feet left the ground for a brief moment; Fluffy hopped from her hand to avoid being accidentally crushed; and the sight that had once been countryside, had now turned into Ferris's face. It took Vianna a moment to snap out of the confusion and realize what had just happened. "Professor!" she said with an amused smile before a chuckle escaped her lips. "And just what do you think you're doing?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at the boy. |
Ferris grinned down at the girl trapped in his arms as she asked what he thought he was doing, "I'm stealing my girlfriend," he explained simply. His brown eyes admired her for a moment, scanning her facial features as he had done so many times, before pressing a warm kiss to her lips. He kissed her sweetly for a moment before breaking apart and simply beaming at her, starting to press loving kisses to her cheeks and jawline with a soft chuckle. |
Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly and she laughed at Ferris's simple and straightforward explanation. She returned the boy's kiss as his lips met hers, a smile still on her face, filled with amusement and admiration for the boy before her. She beamed up at him as he did to her and a giggle escaped her lips as he began invading her face with kisses. "Y'know, I don't think this is very fair!" she said suddenly, still giggling. "I never get to tackle you down and leave you with no escape!" she continued, as if this was a horrible crime he was doing to her and it wasn't fair she couldn't commit the same crime as him. |
Ferris's kisses stopped for a moment as the boy looked up, listening as Vianna explained that it wasn't fair that she could never tackle him to the ground and leave him with no escape. "I didn't know you wanted to!" he said with a smile, releasing the girl in an instant and getting back to his feet. He stood up before her, dusting off some of the grass before grinning down at her. "Alright, Vi. Take your best shot. Tackle me to the ground, I dare you," he challenged her with the warmest of smiles. |
Vianna watched with slightly widened eyes as Ferris hopped off her and got up to his feet in a flash. She sat up and smiled in amusement as he asked her to take her best shot and tackle him to the ground. Vianna then got up to her feet and brushed the dirt off her clothes. She was a few feet away from the boy and now that she really actually looked at him, she felt her confidence decrease slightly. He was a whole foot taller than her! She seemed to only realize this now. "Fine, I will," she finally said after a moment's silence in which she seemed unable to come up with any ways to cheat her way through this challenge. But then she sighed. "You're too tall!" she complained with furrowed brows, as if being tall was something Ferris had done on purpose. |
Ferris only raised his eyebrows at the girl as she determinedly told him that she would tackle him to the ground, watching as she seemed to analyze his stature for a moment. But as she accused him of being too tall, he couldn't hold in the laugh that escaped from his lips, and he shook his head at her, watching her from beneath his lashes. "Alright, then," he said suddenly, getting down on both of his knees and staring at her with a grin. He was now a good deal shorter than her. |
Vianna watched as Ferris got down to his knees and her eyebrows rose slightly, not expecting this response from the boy. She grinned at the sight of the much shorter Ferris and giggled like the little schoolgirl in love that she was before running over to him and successfully tackling the boy down to the ground. "HA!" exclaimed a triumphant Vianna as she sat up slightly to give her prey the most victorious of grins. "I win! I'm a better tackler than you!" she said, as if she hadn't had an advantage in her try. |
Ferris let out a small 'oof!' as Vianna collided into him, sending them both back to the green grass, and he let out a long string of laughter as she lay on top of him gloating. His eyebrows rose as she told him she was a much better tackler than him, and he could only smile, "Yeah, of course you are Vi," he gave her, honestly simply enjoying the way her face looked in the bright sunlight. His arms had wrapped around her easily the moment they had collided, and he held her close to himself as they laid in the tall green grass. |
Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris didn't contradict her bragging, simply agreeing with her. Smiling, the girl watched him for a moment before getting off him and laying on the grass beside him instead. She looked up at the bright sky absentmindedly and sighed, too content to really think about anything. She was just simply living in the present and enjoying every second of it in the company of her favourite person. |
It wasn't long until Ferris's hand had traced down her arm softly, finally finding her hand and intwining their fingers as he gazed up at the sky with a smile. The boy was enjoying her company, taking in the warm rays of the English sun as he laid in the soft grass at her side. Unable to keep her away from him too long, their connected hands pulled her softly towards him little by little until the slender girl was right at his side once more, a smile evident on Ferris's face as he looked up towards the clouds. |
Vianna watched the clouds passing by at a sluggish pace absentmindedly before turning to Ferris. But her crystal blue eyes widened at the sight of his face so close to hers, as she had barely noticed that she had been pulled during the last few minutes. Vianna chuckled softly at this, amused before leaning her face closer to his and placing a kiss on his cheek. "I love you," she told him with a smile as she returned her head to the grass and her eyes to the sky. |
Ferris closed his eyes softly as he felt Vianna's lips on his cheek, opening them just a moment later as he heard her tell him that she loved him. A warm grin spread across his features, exposing his dimples as he turned his head just to see her turning her own back to the sky. "I love you, more," he contradicted, half teasing the girl as he leaned over to press a warm kiss to her jawline. He then rested his chin on her shoulder as he so often did, his nose gently brushing her cheek with a smile. |
Vianna's jaw dropped in mock offense as Ferris contradicted her, telling her that he loved her more. "Do you honestly want to have this debate with me?" asked the girl with a raised eyebrow as she turned to him. "Because I can assure you, I'll win," she added with a smile before turning back to the sky just as Ferris awarded her with a kiss and rested his chin on her shoulder. Still smiling to herself, Vianna brought up her free arm and examined it with curious eyes; the drawing Ferris had made for her the day before was still there, though it was almost completely faded by now and it was difficult to tell what the lines formed at first glance. |
Ferris's eyebrows rose once more as the girl asked him if he honestly wanted to have this debate with him, as she would definitely win. "Oh, I wouldn't mind having the debate. As I would devour you with my love," he joked with a light laugh, amused, though half serious as he pressed yet another kiss to her, this time on her collarbone. "I'd win, but don't worry about it. I'm just weird like that," he assured her with a small nod, diverting his attention to the faded drawing on her forearm as she did. |
Vianna chuckled softly at Ferris's response and her free arm returned to the grass as she turned to face the boy that was right beside her, so close that the tip of her nose brushed his. "You're being delusional," she told him simply, keeping on a serious face as if this was a fatal illness Ferris was suffering from. "I know we've only been dating for a week and a half, but you should know by now that I - Vianna Vincenzi - never lose at anything!" she said with all the confidence in the world, obviously ignoring the last few times she had, actually, lost to Ferris or the times when she had cheated to win - which was almost always. |
Ferris's smile widened substantially as she turned towards him, their noses nearly touching as she explained that even though they had only been dating for a week and a half, he should have been aware that she always won everything. "Oh you do, do you?" he said, amusement in his brown eyes as he pressed an unexpected, playful kiss to her lips. He broke apart just a moment later, a smile on his face, "I remember one young Vincenzi losing to me a couple times recently....Hmmm...." he grinned teasingly at her. |
Vianna couldn't help but smile as Ferris's lips met hers, a gesture she would never get tired of and always left her asking for more. She listened as he spoke, mentioning that she had lost to him a couple times recently, and the girl's eyebrows rose slightly. "Well, that's because you cheated!" she said in her defense, though she wasn't even sure what those 'couple times' he was talking about were, as there were quite a few times that she had lost to him. But Vianna would never admit this, of course not. |
Ferris let out a hearty laugh as she told him it was because he had cheated, his brown eyes sparkling as he watched her with amusement clear on his features. "Of course I did, how else could I win against the all-mighty Vianna?!" he said with an overexaggerated expression of confession. A moment later, his lips had met hers yet again, breaking apart a moment later once more...It seemed as though the closer they got, in their relationship and when they were physically too close to each other, Ferris had a hard time keeping his lips away from her. |
Vianna giggled at Ferris's mock confession. "That's right!" she said, all too eager to agree, though her tones were playful as well and her eyes sparkled with amusement as she watched the boy beside her. She smiled at him, admiring his features for a moment before his lips unexpectedly met hers, only to leave her a moment later. Vianna's eyes fluttered open and her forehead creased slightly as she watched the boy beside her. She remained silent for a moment, merely watching him, before closing the distance between their lips once more and giving the boy another kiss, this time a bit more enthusiastically, and it was clear she had been craving it for a while now. |
Ferris was watching her admiringly as they pulled away from their short kiss, but a small amount of confusion crossed his features as she seemed to watch with with a creased forehead. About to ask what was on her mind, the boy half opened his mouth to speak when her lips suddenly met his own and his mouth closed in a sweet kiss towards the girl. It took him a moment of slight shock, realizing this was what her determined eyes were after, and a trace of a smile filled his features as he returned the Vianna's kiss with the same amount of enthusiasm. As usual, instinct took over him, and his free arm wrapped around her in order to keep her close to himself. |
Vianna smiled faintly to herself as Ferris returned her kiss and she felt his free arm wrap around her frame. The girl kissed him for a couple more moments before mischief took over and she pulled back, deciding it was only fair to tease the boy as he had - unintentionally - done to her, which had caused her to reach this point of wanting more of him. Smiling with amusement, she turned her head to the sky and watched the clouds quietly, as if nothing had just happened only a second ago. |
