Vianna's jaw dropped at Ferris's reply, but she smiled as his lips met her forehead. "You're not a bore, Professor," she said with a small and amused smile before moving just a slightly bit closer to the boy so she could rest her head on his shoulder and watch the flames in the fireplace more comfortably. She yawned for a brief moment and turned quiet, merely watching the fire as if it were a television screen sending her off into another one of those trances. |
Ferris smiled at the response she gave him, telling him that he wasn't a bore, "Good to know." As she rested her head on his shoulder, he gently wrapped an arm around her, keeping her gently to his side. He watched the flames for a moment before speaking, "Do you remember the first time we were sitting in front of a fire together?" he asked with a soft chuckle, their position at the moment reminding her of that time. "And I put my arm around you for the first time..." |
Vianna snapped out of her thoughts as Ferris spoke, and his question brought yet another smile to her face as she remembered the scene. "Yeah, I remember," she said with amusement in her voice. It was difficult to believe that had only happened a little over a week ago; it felt like a scene from years ago. "Do you think that... if the kidnappers had never come around, and we were still in camp... how do you think we would be right now?" she asked, lifting her head from Ferris's shoulder to turn to the boy. "Do you think we'd be like we are now, or would we still be just friends?" |
Ferris smiled down at her as she told him she remembered this as well, listening as she then asked how he thought they'd be right now if the kidnappers never came around and they were still at camp; if they would be like they were now or if they would still be just friends. The boy thought for a moment before speaking, "Well...I don't know Vi...I liked you the first day I met you, I know that much," he paused for a moment, "But before any of this happened, I would've never ever considered telling you about my feelings. Not for a while, anyway. But you...You're different Vi. If it was any other girl, I probably wouldn't have gotten the guts to take her hand or put my arm around her for a long time. But with you....It took what? Three days, for me to not be able to help myself?" He let out a soft chuckle. "I bet by this point I probably would've confessed it to you." |
Vianna listened to Ferris's response quietly, and her smile widened as the boy shared that she was different, as he probably wouldn't have ever gotten the guts to take another girl's hand or wrap his arm around her as he did with Vianna. She chuckled softly at this and her eyes returned to the fire for a moment, thinking back to their days at camp before suddenly looking back at the boy and rather unexpectedly leaning over to place a kiss on his cheek. She smiled and then rested her head on his shoulder once again, as if nothing had just happened. |
Ferris had turned his eyes back to the fire with a contented smile just as Vianna suddenly pressed a kiss to his cheek. His smile widened as he watched her rest her head on his shoulder once more as though nothing had just happened, amused and admiring of her all at once. "And what about you?" he asked her gently, "Would you have ever gotten around to letting me know that you liked me?" he asked her with an amused smile. |
Vianna lifted her head slightly and turned to Ferris as he addressed her, asking her if she would have ever gotten around to telling him she liked him if they were still in camp. She smiled and returned her head to his shoulder and her gaze to the fire. "I'm not sure..." she muttered thoughtfully. "I've never really told a boy I like him, it just kind of... happens," she went on, her brows furrowing slightly in her thoughtful state. "But if you didn't think I liked you before we left camp because of the kidnappers, you would have known by now. I'm not very good at hiding it for too long," she said with a soft chuckle. |
Ferris listened as Vianna told him she wasn't sure as she had never really outright told a boy that she had liked him, but adding that she wasn't very good at hiding it so he probably would've known by now. "Well..." he said with a slight smile, "I'm sure glad that we both found out at the time we did." He let out a soft chuckle before continuing, "You see, that day I told you, I remember being so nervous. Because that was the first time I had ever kissed your cheek or gotten that close to you, and I was so worried that you would hate me for it. I had never been so tempted by anyone in my life to hold someone's hand or kiss their cheek. It just...It wasn't appropriate to me. But with you....It was hard to stop myself. And I bet all of this would've come out eventually if we were at camp." |
Vianna chuckled along with Ferris after the boy shared that he was glad they had both found out at the time they did, silently agreeing with the boy. She listened as he went on, mentioning how nervous he had been, as he was worried she might hate him for kissing her cheek or getting close to her. Vianna couldn't help but giggle lightly at this, as it sounded completely ridiculous to her; if anything, she'd be upset if he had stayed away back then and even more so if he stayed away now. She lifted her head from his shoulder yet again as he continued, telling her it hadn't seemed appropriate to him to be holding hands or anything of the sort back then, but he just couldn't stop himself with her. She flashed him a smile as he finished, her eyes sparkling with both amusement and admiration for a moment before she spoke, "I love you." Her smile widened slightly and she leaned over once again, this time placing a kiss on the boy's lips rather than his cheek, and pulling away a short moment later. "I'm really glad I met you... and I'm glad you had a hard time stopping yourself from holding my hand," she said the last bit with a giggle. |
Ferris, who had been staring ahead as he explained this all to her, was rather surprised as Vianna suddenly told him that she loved him. He smiled, of course, as these words from her always made him happy, but he had almost been more focused on explaining this than charming her as it seemed to have done. He was about to respond when the girl pressed her lips to his for a sweet moment in which he kissed back, and upon breaking apart he smiled warmly, "I love you too Vi." As Vianna told him that she was glad she met him, and that she was glad he had a hard time stopping himself from holding her hand, he seemed to beam. As she giggled, his heart nearly stopped beating entirely, she was so...adorable. And she was charmed by him? "So am I," he said softly, and in the next moment he had leaned forward. He paused for a moment right in front of her face, scanning her features with a slight smile before kissing her lips gently. He couldn't help himself. He had always found these things to be ridiculous; whenever he saw a couple in a movie or on the street kissing so much or acting like this he couldn't understand it, didn't really appreciate it very much. But now that he had her..Well that certainly changed. |
Vianna found herself beaming as well, as Ferris agreed to being glad they had met each other. But then he leaned over closer to her, just pausing right before her for a brief moment in which he simply scanned her face, making the girl a bit nervous. She gave him a weak smile, not sure what the boy was up to, when his lips suddenly met hers. That weak smile grew, and the corners of her lips showed it as she returned Ferris's kiss for a couple moments before pulling back, her face alight with the bliss that always came with kissing the boy beside her. |
Ferris's own expression seemed to nearly mirror Vianna's as they broke apart, pure happiness on his features as he watched her for a moment. Honestly...How had he gotten this lucky? He pressed a kiss to her forehead before wrapping his arm around her once more and pulling her back to his chest, his mind still in pure bliss as his brown eyes turned back to the fire. "You're gonna be mine forever, m'kay Vi?" the boy said with a small grin, as though asking for her opinion. |
Vianna rested her head on the boy beside her as he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her back to his chest, her eyes gazing at the fire absentmindedly and the smile still there as it had become a permanent tattoo on her face. She listened as Ferris told her she would be his forever and laughed lightly for a moment. "Gee, Professor, I'm not sure if that's gonna be possible, but I'll try my best," she said teasingly, as if staying with the boy would be a difficult task she wasn't sure she could perform. |
"Oh, thanks so much Vi," he joked lightly along with her as the girl at his side told him she'd try her best to be his forever. "Sounds good." Ferris let out a soft chuckle before turning back to the fire with amusement in his brown eyes, his left arm holding Vianna close to him still as he examined the flames with a slight smile on his face. But after a few minutes of this comfortable silence between them, the boy found himself to be rather drowsy as he had gotten up rather early that morning. |
Vianna giggled as Ferris played along with her teasing and continued watching the fire absentmindedly, her mind going over all of the day's events. And even though the day was still far from over, it felt like so much had happened in this short amount of time, and it was hard to believe that only a couple of hours ago they had been upset with each other. And, like Ferris, Vianna soon found herself growing rather drowsy as she continued watching the flames absentmindedly. But then she felt something crawling her leg up to her knee, and she almost jumped in surprise. "Fluffy!" she said, turning to the culprit. Fluffy stood on her knee looking up at the girl with his expressionless eyes, a rather bored look to his furry features. |
Ferris was just about to close his eyes when Vianna suddenly exclaimed her pet's name, and he jumped, immediately more awake as he looked around to see Fluffy standing of Vianna's knee. The boy smiled at the sight, having not seen the squirrel in a while and he'd been a bit concerned for him. "Hey there little guy," he said, gently reaching out a hand and petting his furry little head with a grin. "Feeling better?" he asked as though the creature could understand. |
Fluffy turned his gaze from Vianna to Ferris and his dark eyes closed for a moment as the boy began petting his head. Vianna quickly sat up, taking Fluffy gently into her hands and causing the squirrel's eyes to open again. "I think he's probably bored," she said thoughtfully, trying to figure out what her squirrel wanted. It certainly couldn't be food, since he still looked like he might burst any second. Vianna's brows furrowed slightly. The first idea that came to mind was to take Fluffy outside for a moment so he could run around and enjoy some fresh air, but she didn't want Ferris to accuse her of spoiling the squirrel again; but she couldn't just ignore Fluffy either... Her forehead creased slightly as she debated in her head, her eyes turning troubled and hesitant. Fluffy merely looked at her like she was insane as he sat lazily in her hands. |
Ferris seemed to be thinking along the same lines as the girl at his side, as for solutions for Fluffy and not so much about his level of being spoiled. "Y'know what, Vi?" he said, taking a look at the clock on the wall, "We have a couple more hours of daylight...Why don't we go out and take Fluffy so he can get a bit of exercise?" the boy suggested, starting to get up and completely unaware that he had practically read her mind. "They poor guy looks like he needs something to do." |
Vianna snapped out of her thoughts as Ferris spoke, and she turned her gaze from the squirrel in her hands to the boy beside her instead. Her eyes widened at his suggestion, and she watched him get up from the sofa as if he had just grown a third arm or a second nose. Did Ferris know Legilimency?! It took Vianna a moment to realize that this was an absolutely absurd assumption, and instead she returned her attention to him, nodding her head at him, then getting up to her feet as well. |
OOC: I'm off Deee! Byyyyeeee! :bye: Ferris didn't seem to notice his girlfriend's shock, and was rather making sure he had everything he needed so they could head out. Once he saw that Vianna was ready, he put out the fire and took her free hand gently, leading her from the room with a slight smile on his face, unaware that Vianna was a little freaked out by him. He lead her down the hallway, walking down the creaky stairs at her side. |
Vianna gave Ferris a faint smile as they headed out the door, down the hallway and old wooden stairs before reaching the lobby. She looked down at the squirrel in her hand a bit hesitantly, not really liking this idea of the three of them going outside again very much. She knew she was probably just being paranoid, but after their earlier incident, the girl couldn't help feel rather paranoid; it would be hard to treat her squirrel the way she always did around Ferris, as she would constantly be worrying about the boy's opinion on how she she treated Fluffy. She sighed at all these thoughts as they then headed outside to the deserted streets of the small town. "Let's just head out to the countryside a bit and he can run around there," she suggested quietly, as there obviously wasn't a park in town. ooc: Awww, byeee Ruthersss! :bye::glomp: |
OOC: Goodness, you guys are on a roll! I think this might be coming up on a record of longest lasting RPs. Brand new thread to play in, here >> That Summer - V.3; Enjoy. ^_^ |
