Ferris turned his guilty eyes back to Vianna as she asked what he was sorry for and what had happened. "I-I kissed you," he explained to her as though this was a logical explanation. "I really kissed you," he added, one of his hands coming up to his mouth with an expression that seemed as though he was waiting for her to get up and yell at him or something. "I'm sorry, I-I just, got a bit carried away..." OOC: Off for twenty minutes or so! |
Vianna's brows furrowed even further at Ferris's first explanation, listening as the boy told her he had kissed her. She tried to make sense of this answer but when she found no logic to it, she opened her mouth to ask the boy what he meant. But before any words came out, he continued, now telling her that he really kissed her. Vianna's features filled with realization, and her suspicions were confirmed as Ferris went on, now apologizing again for getting carried away. Vianna smiled faintly, amused by the boy's apology. She watched him with amused eyes for a moment before saying, "Professor, that was one of the best kisses I've ever received." She then chuckled softly to herself, looking away and up at the ceiling for a moment. "You're being silly, apologizing for that." ooc: Okay! |
Ferris looked back to her as she spoke, announcing that that had been one of the best kisses she had ever received. His brown eyes widened and his hand dropped back to his side, a hint of a smile on his face. He listened as she added that he was being silly, apologizing for it. The boy hesitantly returned to his previous position laying next to Vianna, his arm returning to her waist and he smiled over at her, "Good...Because I really really enjoyed it," he told her with a soft chuckle as he once more displayed his dimples without meaning to. |
Vianna turned to Ferris as the boy returned to her side, allowing his arm back around her waist. She smiled at him and chuckled softly along with him. "I'm glad to hear that," she told him. "But!" she then quickly added, her tones more playful this time, "Next time, I will not lose! I'm not going to pull away first!" she said, as if Ferris was aware that their kissing had turned into a competition. |
Ferris was staring up at the ceiling with a smile, obviously glad that his girlfriend enjoyed kissing him, when Vianna spoke once more, this time telling him in a rather playful tone that she wasn't going to lose next time. His brows furrowed as he returned his eyes back to her in confusion, listening as she added that she wasn't going to pull away first. "Would you care to explain what in the world you're talking about?" he asked her. |
Vianna blinked as Ferris asked her to explain what she was talking about; she had almost forgotten the boy's brain functioned differently from hers and he didn't see everything as a competition the way she did. Vianna chuckled sheepishly at him before replying, "I was talking about our kiss. Whoever pulls away first loses. Sort of like a staring contest, except... well, you kiss instead of stare," she explained, as if they were really talking about a sport. |
Ferris listened as Vianna explained that she had been referring to their kiss, that whoever pulled away first loses. Like a staring contest, only with kissing. His eyebrows rose with obvious amusement in his brown eyes, "You make everything into a competition, don't you Vi?" he asked her with a smile. He let out a soft chuckle, "Well, I certainly am not objecting to this new competition you have going...Just tell me when you want to try again because I'm definitely winning." |
Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly as Ferris seemed to find her competitive spirit amusing, pointing out that the girl made everything into a competition. But as he continued, now telling her that he wasn't objecting to this new competition as he was sure he was definitely winning, Vianna's eyebrows rose. "Oh really?" she asked him with mocking incredulity. "Are you challenging me, Professor?" she continued, now raising an eyebrow at the boy. "I've been taking swimming lessons since I was very little, so I can hold my breath for pretty long, y'know," she added, as if this should send a shiver down the boy's spine. |
Ferris smiled as the girl asked if he was challenging her, "I don't know, Vi? Are you challenging me?" he asked straight back, obviously amused. He listened as she told him that she had taken swimming lessons since she was very little, and therefore could hold her breath for a long time. "Then why did you break apart first last time?" he asked of her with a teasing grin. |
Vianna gave Ferris an amused smile as he asked if she was challenging him. "Maybe," she replied simply before being distracted by his following accusation. Vianna's jaw dropped at it. "Well! Because-- because I wasn't ready!" she said in her defense. "I didn't know there was a competition coming, or else I would have prepared beforehand!" she continued, as if she hadn't been the one to turn the kiss into a competition in the first place. |
Ferris grinned teasingly as the girl defended herself, telling him that she hadn't been prepared for the kiss before and hadn't known it was a competition. "I didn't know it was a competition either, Vi, and I won," he said, just to poke fun at her. But he turned a little more serious, a smile still on his face, "So what? Should we start a new competition right now?" he asked her, one because he wanted to see how this new game would play out but also because he just wanted to kiss her again. |
Vianna narrowed her eyes disapprovingly at Ferris as the boy continued poking fun at her, rubbing in her face how he had won the competition even without knowing he was in a competition in the first place. "Beginner's luck," Vianna muttered, too proud to just admit that the boy had won fair and square. But as he then asked if they should start another competition, her eyebrows rose slightly and she smiled, glad that Ferris actually found it amusing that she made a game of their kisses rather than be offended by it. "Okay!" she agreed with a grin, taking in a deep breath before very abruptly and unexpectedly placing her lips on Ferris's - ever the little cheater, the girl didn't want to give him a chance to prepare himself before the kiss started. |
Ferris was just about to get ready for their kiss as Vianna agreed to a new competition when her lips suddenly met his. His brown eyes widened, completely unprepared, but they soon closed slowly and that cloud once more filled his mind. He kissed her back, his arm pulling her closer to him during their competition. It was easy to speak about it like it was a competition when their lips weren't touching, but for Ferris, it was hard to keep his head in the game when they were actually kissing. OOC: I'm off Deeee! Byyyeeee! :bye: |
Vianna had the hint of a devious triumphant smile on her lips as she kissed Ferris, her mind, unlike his, completely in the competition. She was determined not to pull away first, and felt pretty confident about her chances of winning this one. But it wasn't just the thirst for winning that was driving her, but also the desire to kiss the boy beside her; it seemed that with each passing day, keeping their lips off each other became more and more difficult. ooc: Byeeeee, Rutherssss! :bye::glomp: |
Ferris's mind was filled with a fog, nothing was running through his brain except for Vianna and this kiss. He was blissfully kissing her for a moment when suddenly the need for oxygen was pushed to the forefront of his concentration, and it only took a couple more seconds for it to become overwhelming. This wasn't fair! He hadn't had a chance to hold his breath as she did; she had sneak attacked him! He broke apart reluctantly, taking in a deep breath and eyeing the girl as though she was not to be trusted. "That one didn't count!" |
Vianna was caught off-guard when Ferris suddenly pulled away from her, as she wasn't expecting him to give up so soon. But then again, she had cheated. The girl beamed up at him, all the mischief in the world sparkling in her eyes. "I win!" she announced, quite triumphant. "I win, I win, I win! You pulled away first, which makes me the better kisser!" she continued proudly. |
Ferris watched Vianna cheer happily through narrowed eyes, shaking his head disapprovingly as she celebrated her 'victory'. "You did not win!" he contradicted, and his eyes widened as she then stated that this win made her the better kisser. "You are not the better kisser! You're a little cheater, that's what you are!" he told her, slight amusement behind his brown eyes. |
Vianna giggled as Ferris contradicted her, telling her she did not win and she wasn't a better kisser, but rather she was a cheater. Knowing all of this - well, maybe not the not being a better kisser part - was true, the girl filled with amusement. "Aw, Professor, don't be so bitter. I know it's tough having to accept that your girlfriend has better lungs than you, but don't worry. I still love you," she teased the boy, still giggling lightly to herself. |
Ferris shook his head slowly through all of her words, listening with narrowed amused eyes as she told him not to be bitter just because his girlfriend had better lungs, and that she still loved him. "Okay, ready?" he said suddenly, a smile spreading across his face. A moment later, he had taken a deep breath and his lips were on hers very gently at first. He had pulled a Vianna, and there was a hint of a mischievous smile to his lips as he started kissing the girl once more, determined to win this time. |
Vianna's eyebrows rose as Ferris's only response was asking her if she was ready, apparently about to start another competition. The girl barely had time to react and take a breath when Ferris was already planting his lips on hers. Vianna's brows furrowed disapprovingly at him before her eyes began to close, and though she was almost already running breathless, the girl wasn't about to give up any time soon. She just simply couldn't let him have the victory, now or ever. |
Ferris was doing perfectly fine, finding himself with a good store of oxygen unlike the previous competition just minutes before. And he began to kiss her, his mind falling into the cloud that always accompanied his lips on Vianna's, and he fell into that state of happiness where the only thing that mattered was Vianna and the kiss they were having now. Oh, and the competition. But that was the least of the boy's priorities as his arm pulled her even closer to himself, gently pushing her back into the couch cushions. |
Vianna wasn't as easily distracted by their kisses, though, and her mind was in the game. Especially since she had a bad feeling she might lose this one, not having been able to catch enough breath before Ferris began kissing her. She returned the boy's kisses for as long as she could, a few minutes, before reluctantly pulling back when she began growing dazed not from their kiss but from the lack of oxygen to the brain. The girl's eyes fluttered open only to give Ferris a disapproving look as she took a deep breath. "Cheater!" she accused. |
Upon their lips parting, Ferris also took in a deep breath, amusement and happiness clear on his features. He let out a chuckle as Vianna immediately accused him of cheating, "You cheated first!" he accused right back, as though they weren't a couple kissing on the couch but more of two people in a funny battle. "I think someone's just a bit jealous because you've lost twice, and I've won twice!" he continued, a grin evident on his face. He gloated down at her, obviously proud of successfully duplicating her trick. |
Vianna narrowed her eyes slightly as Ferris accused her of having cheated first before then going on to accuse her of being jealous that she had lost to him twice. Vianna's brows furrowed and her eyes turned curious now. "Twice? When did you beat me twice?" she asked him, wondering if the boy was referring to their kisses - the first of which she was sure she had won - or overall competitions between the two of them. |
"Yes, twice my dear Vianna," he repeated with a rather proud smile. "Let's not forget the first kiss where someone was competing without my knowledge. But I won," his smile widened before he started to get up, "I'll be back. I'm going to get some water," he told the girl before climbing from his spot next to Vianna and standing up with a small pain in his back. But it wasn't anything he couldn't ignore. He then started heading into the kitchen in search of some water. |
