Elizabeth smiled at him, "You were in gryffindor, were you not?" She smirked at him and pulled him closer. "Freezing, dear." Tears were in her eyes, "What is gonna happen?" She looked a little weak and helpless as she looked at him.

Jack laughed. "I was..." And pulled out his wand, casting a heating charm. "Better?" He asked, burning up but maybe she was better. "What do you mean, what will happen?"

Elizabeth sighed in relief as she felt heat from the charm. "Yes...." She leaned her head back, "Thank you... are you too hot?" She looked at him in concern. "I mean what is happening between us and what will happen to the kids..." Will i ever get better...

Jack shook his head. "I'm fine...I've been in hotter spots don't worry." He said and sighed. "Nothing is happening with us, we're in a rough patch...but i will do anything to make this work...just keep your friend from acting like some know it all and i might be able to tolerate him.." Jack hated advise and from a younger man it was just annoying.

Elizabeth smiled, "You are sweet to me." She nodded, "I will try to." She sighed and cuddled into him, "I love you and miss you." She held him close to her.

Jack smiled. "I try to be..I'm sorry that i fail sometimes.." He cuddled close, knowing she was cold. "I love you too and no need to miss me..I'll be right here for the rest of the week, okay?"

Elizabeth looked at him, "No one can be perfect all the time." She kissed him and smiled, "Promise?" She laughed and cuddled into him. "I adore you."

Jack smiled and laughed. "I know..but i can try.." He kissed her back and nodded. "Of course, dear. I'm all yours, i'll be right here to take care of you.."

Elizabeth smiled until Lucas screamed, having a nightmare. She sighed, "Will you?" She tried to gesture to the door.

Jack nodded and kissed her cheek. "Of course..." He ran down the hall and into his son's room. "Hey, what happened, Lu?" He asked sitting at the foot of the small boy's bed.

Lucas looked at him and whimpered, "Momma die! Momma die!" He cried. "Where Momma?" He was getting louder by the second.

Jack shook his head. "No, Lucas....your mother is fine...she's in bed...she's a little sick but she'll be okay. I'm taking care of her...Do you want to see her?" He asked wondering how many times he'd do this in one day..

Lucas nodded and smiled at him, "Yeah, I want momma..." He sighed and lifted his arms up to him. He whimpered.

Jack picked the boy up and carried him back to his and Elizabeth's room. "See, she's just sleeping...Mama's a little sick, but i'm taking care of her, okay? I'm gonna be home with you all week.."

Lucas nodded, "Okay, Pappa." He yawned and rubbed his eyes. Lucas curled up into his arms and fell back asleep.

Jack was cleaning up a bit, his office was well...cluttered, he needed to put a few things in the attic. He knew if he didn't do it now it would never get done.

Elizabeth had been going through a box on the kitchen table as Jack was cleaning up his office. She realized how late it was so she left it sitting there and got cleaned up. She started making dinner, not thinking about the box and how pictures of her and Victor were on top of the things. Pictures of them kissing and with her having her legs wrapped around his waist as well as some in the water.

Jack carried his things into the attic, it was hot and full of cobwebs...he walked back down and into the kitchen for a drink of water...he was about done with the glass when out of the corner of his eye he spotted something....no...he had to be wrong, his wife wouldn't have kept such things...and in their home of all places... He put dow the water and....yupp he was right, pictures of her with another man, now he had no place in talking about being faithful but holding onto such things!?


Jack picked up the picture and walked over to his wife, with haste. "Elizabeth, what's this?!" He asked, a slight bit of anger in his eyes, more confusion than anything. "I don't recognize this man...he wasn't one of your husbands...this isn't Matthew and it's not Kade and it sure as hell ain't me!" He stood there waiting for her excuse.

Elizabeth turned, in shock at his tone. She looked into his eyes and was confused. She glanced at the picture and took it to look at it. It was clear that she didnt know who it was. She looked up, "I... I... dont rea---" She blinked then looked at the picture again. A hand shot out and grabbed onto the counter as she started to remember. The picture drifted on to the counter as waves of emotions came crashing down upon her. She shook and fell to her knees. Her hands went to her head.

Jack lost all anger the moment his wife fell, yes she would have to answer for what she'd done and explain everything about her and this man, as he had with Hannah...but not while she could be hurt. "Elizabeth, are you all right?" He said catching her and helping her stand, looking into her blue eyes as if searching for his own answer.

She clung to him a little and whimpered a little. After a few seconds, she nodded, "Yeah... just emotions and memories that had been locked up and forgotten for about 13 years just came crashing into my mind. Elizabeth still had to lean into him to even be vertical. "That is... Victor... We dated for 6 months about a year after Kade died... months after Carina was born... He asked me to marry him though not in an official proposal... and I had said yes... but then within minutes, Mother rushed out and put a stop to our dating... she threaten if I see him again he would die... and she blocked all my memories and emotions from him... I guess she didnt think photos would undo her spell... or it could be the years..." She looked up at Jack with sorrow in her eyes as well as a little fear. She loved Jack and didnt want to lose him... how does this look to him though? He must hate her... Elizabeth drew all of her strength and backed away a few steps. She leaned into the counter, trembling. "I havent opened that box in about 13 years... I didnt even know about the pictures... I was just going through my old things to see what was in it..."

Jack looked into her eyes...it seemed like something her mother might do...he honestly had no right to be angry about something that she couldn't remember right? No...this was different from what happened to him, very much so, she did what she did willingly...whatever that was...did he even want to know? "And how do i know this isn't an excuse?" he asked, he'd been having a harder time trusting his instincs lately, and she knew that so hopefully she wouldn't take it personally. "If you tell me all about it and....'Victor'....and then get rid of the pictures, it'll be fine." He said crossing his arms not wanting to fight.

Elizabeth looked at him, "I dont know... you just have to trust me..." She glanced into his eyes and longed to be held by him again. "What do you want me to tell you about it and him?" She avoided the pictures thing, thinking he might take that as her consenting. "I will tell you all that you wish to know." She held her hand out to him.

Jack looked at her for a moment, recently he wasn't sure who to believe or what was real. But she was the one thing he could always trust in and have faith in...so he took her hand. "Tell me everything....start from the beginning like you made me do with Hannah and leave nothing out..." He wouldn't be satisfied with anything less or he would always wonder what went on. "So you'll get rid of them?"

Elizabeth smiled lightly when he took her hand and then frowned as she started to tell him, "He is Russian, he has a daughter named Quinn who is two years younger than Henry. We met when he delievered a package to me of a thousand pounds whom i now know that it was from Kade... the next night we went on a date and after dinner we swam in our underwater in the Loire River. We dated 6 months. When we dated 3 months, he told me that I could sleep at his place with Henry and Carina since he didnt want me to suffer with my mother... I was so frighten by her then. The first night things sorta happened and we made love with one another... and then my mom found out and pulled me away and forced me to go home at 10:30 each night and not say why and then one night she found out who i was dating and forced us apart saying she would kill him if i see him again... it was the day he brought up the idea of marrying him and running away from my mother... throughout the 6 months i had told mother i was hanging with Bryson..." She glance down and then looked up at him as she caught her breath. Eliza nodded, "Yeah, I will get rid of them."
