"I think I am gonna go to the estate..." She will not stand for Jack's rudeness. To Benjy, "There was but I am a mother who has a household to run so it is impossible to follow 100%."
Carina smiled, "I'm Carina." She laughed and hugged him.

Just as Elizabeth started to stand up, Benjy sprung to his feet, not able to return little Carina's hug. He didn't say anything as Jack had beat him to it. Instead he just listened. Once Jack had finished speaking, Benjy just nodded a little bit. He took a second, just looking into Elizabeth's eyes, his own eyes almost sparkling with tears. "He's right...." Benjy said softly. "You need to stay here Elizabeth... or go to Mungo's which I know you don't want. I can tell you have a very high fever...If you aren't careful, you won't be able to be here for any of us in much time." He motioned to Jack and Carina.
Kneeling down to Carina's height, he looked at her in the eyes. "Can you go get you mamma a glass of water for me?"
Standing back up, he put a hand on Eliza's shoulder and rubbed it a little. "Sit down for us... Please?" | |

Carina nodded and left to get the glass of water.
Elizabeth felt too terrible to let her wrath out completely. She just sat on the couch and put her face in her hands. Her shoulders shook but not because she was freezing... though she was... but because she was so mad at Jack. Tears were falling as she slipped off the couch and onto her knees. Tears trailed down her cheeks.

Jack sighed and tied the finished letter to the family owl and sent it on it's way. He walked over to where his wife was seated. "Well, it seems you're well taken care of now and you clearly don't want to see me, so i'm spending the night in London, i have some paperwork to grab from the office anyway..i'll be back tomorrow.." And with that he turned and walked up the steps to his room, packing an overnight bag.

Benjy knelt down next to Elizabeth and tried to get her to stop crying. But now Jack was leaving.... "Bloody Merlin..." the redhead muttered to himself before standing up and walking over to the bottom of the stairs.
"JACK!!! You'd better bloody well get down here and help out your wife if you want her to get any better!!" He yelled up the stairs, before wearily walking over to Elizabeth and banishing the chair he had conjured before.
"Elizabeth... listen to me." He said, kneeling down right in front of her and placing a hand on her knee. "I need you to do a couple of things for me....okay?" He asked before continuing. "I need you to follow your doctor's orders otherwise I will take you to Mungo's and make sure you stay there. I'll hire someone to take care of the housework and whatnot until you get better. I need you to let this person do their job. And lastly, I need you to let Jack help you... he loves you and all he wants to do is help... so I need you to let him help you...if not for your marriage then for me." Benjy said before standing up. "Give Foxy here a message if you need to get ahold of me... okay?" He said, placing an owl down on a perch that somehow appeared out of nowhere. And then the redheaded hit wizard was gone. | |

Jack was furious...how dare this man come into his home and tell him what do to. He gripped his wand so tightly he thought he might break off the small wooden werewolf head at the pommel, he walked back down wand in hand and glared at the other man he didn't say a word, this was a challenge and if the other man was smart he'd back down and then the ginger was gone, he looked down at his wife and the expression on his face didn't change but his eyes showed his love for her.

Jack looked into her eyes, ignoring her annoyance with him. "Elizabeth, darling...will you let me carry you up to bed...you need your rest...maybe a warm bath would help...and some soup...please...just let me take care of you, i need you." He said showing her his concern in his eyes, he couldn't afford to lose her, it was bad enough one of his children had to live without a mother, he didn't want that for all of them.
