It has been eighty-nine years since Voldermort has been banished by none other than Harry Potter. A new family, called Hoxac, were the second most powerful wizards and witches in Voldermort's day. Now that he's gone... they've been busy. The father, his only name is Hoxac, has killed many families in the last fifteen years. The mother went crazy, jumping off the Hoxac's mansion-almost-castle's balcony. The maid and cook both ran away, only to be captured and returned to Hoxac, eventually dying a strange, unknown death. Three of the families children also died in that mansion, all vanishing --- never to be seen again. Hoxac's brother and sister-in-law went to visit him, never to return home.

But now. Now. It's a new age. Hoxac was captured and brought to Azkaban eventually dying from insanity. His house, known as the Hoxac Mansion, was closed off to the public, only few have known about it's location.

A new professor in Hogwarts knows this location, bringing together a "search team" to investigate it. He has heard of the stories about the house, and he and the caretaker agreed to stay for one week.

The stories are gruesome, some just made up to scare little children and people --- since the Hoxac Mansion was well-known. The few people that knew about where the Mansion actually was never did want to go there --- in fear of one of the stories, about never appearing ever again, once you stepped inside the house, that is. No one wanted to go... and no one ever knew the real story about it.. until now.

Orion Rysen, nephew of the Late Hoxac, the parent's who went to visit him, is the only one who knows half the story that's behind the Evil Mansion. He was invited to the Mansion, no one knowing that he is related to the Murderer Hoxac. He wanted to go in hopes of finding out what happened to the parents --- and to his cousins.

From fights, perhaps *love*, and friends and enemies, the "search group" nicknamed "The Hoxac Group" will uncover what really happened at the house.

Please, this is an all made-up RP. No perfect people, or anything like that. All rules from SS apply. No special powers, it ruins the RP. And please, if you want to join, I'd like it if you'd be dedicated to the RP and not drop out when you just get a tiny bit confused. Sure, you can drop out, but don't through a temper-tantrum if you aren't getting the plot. People will tell you, so please don't keep asking about it.

Nicholas folded his arms, trying to think as fast as he could. "But what can we do about it? How are we supposed to get him to remember the future?" He thought it made sense that Jakob wouldn't remember them...but both Jakob and Orion didn't have to be such jerks about it. They were starting to **** him off.

Orion grinned. "Sneaking out, of course. The balcony's the place to do so," he said, heading towards the door. "You coming?" He asked, loudly, not really paying attention to the group.

"'Course. If it's sneaking..." Jakob grinned and followed Orion. He passed by his parents in the process and exchanged smiles with them, hurrying, however, so that he wouldn't get questioned again.

"We follow them," Roma replied, watching the two sneak off. "We're going to have to prevent Jakob from seeing his parents get murdered again." She began to follow him and Orion, motion for Nicholas to follow her. She made sure she kept a safe distance between her and Orion and Jakob.

Orion nodded, going out the door and making his way to the balcony. "So what about those people that randomly came up to us?" Orion started, adding quickly, "They seemed kind of strange. And.. those lies. It seemed like they were gonna kill US. Didn't it?"

"Kill us? Neh, don't think so, I mean I do get things like that often. You too, no offence to Lynn." he smiled cheekily, and soon found that they got into an elegant-looking room, and headed for the balcony. "Fancy a smoke, eh, do you?"

Roma followed them up to the room. It was pretty weird of them to be sneaking around like this. This did not feel like the Orion and Jakob she knew. They had changed a lot. Now all she had to do was figure out what to do when the scene replayed in front of them. So many thoughts of what to do were floating about in her mind, but none of them suitable for right now.

Orion nodded. "Well, she's not here... so, yeah," he said, then sighed. "I'm afraid I won't be here much longer though. Once she gets bigger, we're going away until the baby's born. Then we'll come back. You know, since my parent's don't know and all.." he trailed off, then nodded again. "Yeah, I'll have a smoke," he agreed, pausing in the room before the balcony and glancing around. "..Don't you just love this Mansion? It's.. full of secrets.. and you can be wild and free in it!" Orion grinned, then suddenly whirled around as he heard a creak. "..Did you hear that?" Orion asked, moving towards where Roma was. "..You don't tihnk those weirdos are following us, do you?"

"No, I'm not that charming, am I?" Jakob laughed, then turned to see who was indeed there. Not Roma, nor the other 'weirdos', as Orion called them, but Hoxac. His mere head could be seen slipping through the opening, as if inspecting the place, and before Jakob could say something, it was gone, and the door closed itself.
"Well that was odd. Quite an odd day, in fact, as it's been looking..." Jakob said, laying on his back, cigarette in one hand, lighter in the other.

She looked at the cigarette in disgust. Ewww. Thank god he doesn't do that anymore. To her, smoking was a terrible habit. She jumped when she saw Hoxac's head, but made sure not to make a sound. Time was running out and they needed a plan fast.

Orion blinked, then nodded to where Hoxac just left. He took a cigarette from Jakob, then gestured there. "Want to go check it out? I mean, sneaking out can be held off for a little while.. right?" He asked, lighting the cigarette with his own lighter and puffing out the smoke.

"Neh, you go. I feel like having some air. Funny, huh, with this and all..." he dazed, holding out his now lit cigarette. Jakob had adjusted himself in such a comfy position that going to see what the master of the mansion or those newbies were up to functioned with no appeal to him.

Nicholas groaned in not-wanting-to-be-here-ness as he followed Roma. After hiding in the shadows for a while he caught a glimpse of Hoxac. "Maybe if i tackle him or something..." He wasn't quite sure what he was saying, but they had to create some kind of diversion.

"We can't tackle him!" Roma whispered to Nicholas. "We're not trying to hurt him. We just want to prevent him from seeing his parents' death again." She thought for a second when an idea popped into her mind. "Are you an animagus?" She was hoping that he was. If so, then her plan would have been good. The problem was, it involved partially hurting Jakob.

Orion shook his head. "No. I know you, you'll get lost in this huge Mansion," he grinned again, then, finishing up his cigarette, he threw it outside, off the balcony. He sighed, then took a seat next to Jakob. "..Funny, is it?" He muttered, yawning. "...How many ladies.. come up to us..." he trailed off, trying to change the subject, then, narrowing his eyes, he suddenly got up. "..Did you hear that? It sounds like.. whispering. Near here. And.. Hoxac left, and I don't think anyone else from the party followed us.."

Nicholas sighed and shook his head. "No. Are you?" He asked, not thinking that she was but it was worth a try. "Sh" He whispered to her as he heard Orion say something about hearing whispers. Man they were jerks back then. He almost didn't want to save Jakob, but he knew Roma would kill him if he didn't.

Roma nodded. She was an anamigus. She mouthed the word 'hawk' to Nicholas, hoping he'd get the point that she could turn into a hawk. Her plan was to attack Jakob. It was a lot like the plan of tackling him, but it was less painful on his side. Plus, Jakob wouldn't have known that it was them.

Her thoughts for Jakob and Orion were dissapointing. They were real jerks, and she would have even admitted it. They were arrogant, little jerks. But they didn't deserve to die. None of them did.

Nicholas smiled and got the hint. "What about Hoxac?" He mouthed, thinking that maybe they could try to attack him instead of Jakob and prevent the whole thing from happening entirely.

Roma thought for a second. Was it better to attack Jakob or Hoxac? Hoxac would have probably been more dangerous to attack, but then again, it could have prevented all this from happening - or could it? This lead to the thought of whether this was the past or an exact replica of the past. The difference was whether they could change it or not. If they had killed Hoxac tonight, would it have prevented all the murders from happening in the future?

She looked back at Nicholas and mouthed the words 'We'll attack him instead.'

Nicholas nodded his head. "You want me to attack him too?" He mouthed back to Roma. This was definitely going to be dangerous...he was starting to get a bad feeling about this. Either that or the bad feeling from before had never left to begin with.

Roma shook her head and mouthed 'no'. If they did attack Jakob, he would know that it was them, and they did not want that. She kept glancing towards the door thinking that Hoxac and Jakob's parents would walk through that door any second now. But a very important thought drifted into her mind just then. Am I actually going to try to attack an insane murderer? This was definatley going to risk her life.

Orion moved towards Nicholas and Roma, still talking to Jakob. "..Don't you hear it, mate?" He asked, nodding. "It seems like it's coming from..over..here," with the word HERE, Orion jumped out into the hallway [ or wherever Roma and Nicholas were ] and threw out his arm, grabbing hold of Roma. "..You again?" He opened his eyes wide, staring at her. "..You.. liar... you're not in love with Jakob, you're.. a.. a.. spy!" Orion said, glancing into the room where Jakob was and yelling, "We've got a spy, mate! Spying on the Ball, no doubt." Orion turned back to the two, then narrowed his eyes. "..Tell us then, why exactly are you spying? Planning to kill us all?"

"Yeah, I am! You got a problem with that?" Roma said, struggling to free herself from Orion's grip. She would have taken out her wand to scare them a bit, but then remembered that Hoxac took it. "Let go of me!" She didn't have a plan for this so she had no idea what to say. Should I tell them the truth? No, they wouldn't believe it. "Okay, listen. Do I really look like a killer to you? Does it look like I have a weapon to kill you guys with?"

"Oehm... then what is it that you want?" Jakob asked perplexedly looking at Roma and Orion. "And who's this? Your boyfriend? Oh, how unconvincing..." he sighed, glancing at Nicholas, still puffing his cigarette. He then laid his hand on Orion, whispering: "'d you hear that? Sounds like my parents..." Jakob looked both alarmed and disappointed. For one thing, he put out his cigarette, stinging it on the closest wall and throwing the remnant.

Nicholas stealthily pulled his wand out of his back pocket, keeping it hidden from their view. He wondered if it would still work in the castle...maybe because this was a flashback it might. "Look-we're here to help you. And i'm just about at the point where i'd rather hurt you. Something bad is going to happen tonight. We were given a warning by Ophelia to come here to prevent it, but we didn't want to tell you. We're here for your own good, understand?" He said, patiently. Half of that was a lie, but it still might get their attention.
