Noelle was in a good mood. The day was perfect, the weather was nice, there was a pep in her step.

She had started towards the barn but instead, turned to go to the professor's hut.

Knock, knock, knock

Three little raps to let him know he had someone at his door.
Noelle actually had never been inside or even to the hut. She tended to stay away from the Professor's quarters. They dealt with students too much already as it was. But, there was something bugging Noelle to bug Professor Hernandez.

What a perfect day.

Jordan was away to take a walk around with Big Boss. His fur buddy seemed enjoying Hogwarts so far because he always barked asking him to go for a walk or play with him. Such a spoiled playful dog, not that he minded. Maybe Big Boss was quite jealous that every early morning always visited the Silver Sky and the other creatures at the barn.

Walking back to his hut, The CoMC professor found a girl student waiting for him. "Hello there...." Seriously, Jordan needed to remember the students' name, especially those who's visiting him and have interested in Magizoology. "I hope you didn't wait for too long, I was just out to take him walk around." Jordan said to that girl as he pet his dog. Opening the door, he asked her to enter the hut. "Come on in, I'll make you a cup of coffee or any other drinks."

Okay, where was Professor Hernandez?

Noelle waited a bit, taking a moment to look around the side of the hut, wondering if the pumpkins had started to grow or if there were even some left.

Her moment got interrupted thought as the professor came back with his.... DOG!
Noelle's nattention instantly went to the dog as she lowered herself and started petting the dogs head. "Oh hello you pretty, arent you a good doooog. yes you arreeeee" Because thats how you talked to dogs.

Blushing, she realized he was doing this in front of a professor. She straightened herself out and patted the dogs head. 'Sorry about that. A cup of tea would be amazing though."

Big Boss seemed very happy as the girl student petting him. Yes, he's a very friendly and happy dog! "Woof woof!!!" She's talking to Big Boss! She loved Big Boss!! The golden retriever barked happily because he likes this girl student!

Jordan just chuckled as she's petting and talking to his dog. It seemed like Big Boss loved being petted like that. "That's okay, Miss.... I am so sorry, I couldn't remember your name." The creatures Professor confessed. "Big Boss is very friendly with people, and smart too." He mentioned about his dog. Seriously, his dog was the best. "A cup of tea then." He forgot that British people often preferred tea over coffee, but it didn't mean that he have no tea in his hut. Jordan had prepared some for the guest who couldn't take coffee. "Please come in, and have a seat."

Noelle kept her fingers on the dog as she followed Professor Hernandez into his hut. Her eyes scanned the hut, taking it in. SHE WAS IN A PROFESSOR'S HUT!!! This was exciting. She felt like she was invading space a little but, it was kinda cool.

Noelle took a seat and hoped Big Boss would sit by her. She missed all her animals. She even had a pet goat. They stayed at home on the farm. "What is your dogs name?" Noelle asked, not wanting to just sit there.

"And when did you get him? what breed is he? Can I have him spend the night with me sometime?" All very important questions.

Jordan didn't mind if there's a visitor coming to his hut/office. He's always welcomed the students or perhaps a fellow staff to come here asking about creatures or anything else. "Please have a seat." He said as they entered the hut. And the drinks... yeah, The CoMC professor then walked to his pantry to make drinks for them "Well... this is my bad but I don't think I remembered your name." He said as he serve the drink. Tea and some cookies for her and coffee for him.

He couldn't help but smile when she asked him about his dog. "Oh, I call him Big Boss. He's a golden retriever." Jordan answered and took a sip of his coffee. Could she spend a night with his dog sometime? Well.... "I guess if you don't mind taking care of him. He's a little bit spoiled and always wants attention. Not to mention that he likes to wake you up at the crack of dawn." Not that he mind though, he loves waking up early so he had time to taking care of the other creatures at the barn. And more "woof woof!" from Big Boss then the dog came to the girl. Wow, he seemed like her, huh?

"Yes Flam, now it's time for you to learn something to!" Spoke Leesha to her rat while walking toward the care of magical creatures hut, she wanted to ask the teacher there for some tips and help because who else would know what to do with a animal? "I'm not the only one who is going to learn and to study this year" she eyed the rat in her hand and smirked, already thinking about how fun it would be to use Flam!

Stopping before the door from the hut she raised her other hand and knocked on the door while looking at the dog, sitting next her. She wanted to play with the dog but she wasn't so sure if Flam would like it and if the dog would be friendly toward her pet rat.

Noelle took a seat in the professors hut, sitting up and direct. The only thing keeping her relaxed was the dog that was sitting by her. She continued to stroke his head. "Oh! Well, I can't expect you to remember my name. You have a bunch of students. But don't worry, I'll make you remember." One because she was going to be stealing his dog on occasion.

"I'm Noelle Grace Summers." She told him brightly. Then listened as he talked about his dog. "Spoiled dogs are my favorite." Noelle could get all the cuddles in the world but the big dog. Golden Retriever. Gosh he was a beauty.

"I get up early some days to train." When she actually got up. Sometimes it was hard. "So getting up wouldn't be hard to do. Does he go on runs?" She could take him on one one day.

Art decided it was time to head on down to the grounds for a bit of fresh air. And why not make a trip to Jordan's hut? That's where Art was headed. He made his way, slowly, to take in the fresh air, and the sights. He wasn't usually one to be outside, but it wasn't a bad day. Not a bad day at all.

He climbed the stairs to the hut and knocked at the door, then flopped down on the seat to wait. He had a nice view to look at, and he was rather comfortable. So comfortable in fact, with the fresh, slightly warm breeze, that he closed his eyes... and fell asleep!

Jordan was just got back from the barn. Some of the winged horses needed his attention and it was one of his duty to take care of them. Back to his hut, the man saw an ickle student had waited in front of his door. "Oh, Hello." He said to that girl. "I'm so sorry to make you waited too long, I just got back from feeding the horses."

"So you're really interested to babysit him?" He asked Noelle. "He would love that. I often walk or jog around the castle with him." The problem is.... could she handle him?

Minutes after he finished brewing coffee, Jordan then walked to the door and opened it...... Wait, nobody was there. Perhaps just a mischievous student who got a dare to knock his door? Maybe. He was about to close the door and leave it be until he noticed that there was someone taking a nap on his bench.

"Professor Newton?" He woke the old man up. Wow, how long he's been asleep here?

Footsteps sounded from the other side of the house and not like she had expected from the inside, apparently the professor had been away from his house. "It's not a problem professor, I haven't waited for long" spoke she with a smile because she really didn’t minded it, she was outside and had no lessons at the moment, so why not sit and wait in the sun and relax?

"Professor, I was wondering if you could give me some tips of help with my rat, he is a magical rat and in the shop they told me that he was mart and could learn tricks but how do you train a animal like that?" She asked curious. "My rat Vlam is just only a few months old but I've heard that if you wanted to train a animal that you needed to start early, is that right?" The first year spoke excited, she wanted her rat to know all different kind of tricks so that she could use Vlam to help her with eh... a few things...

Art hadn't been asleep for long at all, but he was in the middle of one of those very early stage dreams. But at the sound of Jordan's voice, Art came to with a soft snort. He blinked a few times, looking around, feeling quite disorientated for a moment, before he remembered he was here to say hello to Jordan. He looked over to where his colleague was and struggled up to his feet. "Oh s-sorry about that, nice and comfy in the sun," he said with a chuckle. "Are you busy? I was just uhh.. just out here and before I knew it I was at your hut. Thought I'd come and say hello."

Suddenly, the professor's hut had become a little crowded. Noelle looked around at the other people joining them. She smiled at waved. HEY HER HOH! Proud Gryffindor this one. She gave Professor Newton a wave before turning back to Hernandez.

"I would love to! I live on a farm back home that has .... buttloads of animals. My mum likes to take in strays and rescues. So theres never a dull moment with the animals there." Plus, she had a pet goat named Gus at home. It was a fainting goat. She loved him.

Still, even though the student said that he hadn't waited too long Jordan kind of felt bad when he noticed that she had waited there for him. Seriously, next time he should put on a board if he's available or not for visit. "Why don't you come in and then we can talk about it, Miss Griffel?" He said to the enthusiast first year student. "I can give you some tips for your rat."

It's either the old Newton had waited for too long or he's just too tired from walking down here.

"Actually I am not that busy, sir." Jordan said. "I was just brewing coffee. A brother of mine just got back from a trip to Sumatra and he sent me coffee beans from there. Do you drink coffee, by the way?" He asked. "I can serve a cup or two for you."

"Okay then, you can babysit him for a day, or maybe a week." He said to Miss Summers. "I will tell you whenever he's ready."

Smiling widely Leesha looked at the professor while looking next quick at her rat who sat on her shoulder. "Thank you professor!" She beamed while following the professor. She grabbed Vlam from her shoulder and showed her rat to the professor while looking proudly. "This is my rat and he is smart and I know that he can learn things, but how can I do that? I want him to learn to listen to his name when I'm calling him so that he will come to me and... I want to learn him a few tricks, how can I do that?" She was talking almost too quick because of her excitement, realizing too late that the professor probably would have trouble with following her.

Art nodded with a smile. Excellent! He didn't have to make the hike back to the Castle just yet, and he had time to get to know his colleague. "Oh Sumatra, I've never been. Have you?" Art wasn't much of a traveller, but he loved learning about different places, and hearing stories from other people. "I do," he said with a chuckle, holding a yawn back with difficulty. "I'd love some, thank you." Perhaps it would be just what he needed for a little pick-me-up. "Do you drink tea?"

Training the rat? Well, honestly he didn't have too much experience working with rats and its species very much since his focus is more about winged horses. Jordan had never have a rat as his pet when he was younger (because his mom hated it) but he had to figure something out.... "Wizarding rats tend to live a little bit longer than the mundane one. And yes, they're smarter too." Getting up from his chair, he grabbed a book about rats. "This is something that you can read for references." He showed the first the book and opened it. "Just like here, this part shows you the benefits of having rats as your pet, and then...." He flipped into the other pages. "I think this one that you needed to read. How to have fun with your pet rat." He nodded.

Jordan let the oldie professor came into his hut. "Have a seat, and make yourself comfortable sir." The CoMC professor said as he walked back to his coffee station and make two cups of coffee. "Nope, I'd never been there either. My brother, Joseph, is an archaeologist and he specifically works around Asia region to find the source of wizarding life there." He explained to Newton. It's gonna be nice if he were able to travel for his work, but working with magical creatures had become his dream ever since his OWL year. "I rarely drink tea, not really a huge fan of it. But sometimes I love getting a cup of peppermint green tea." He's more into coffee, not only consumed it but also the brewing and serving technique. "How do you like your coffee, sir? Perhaps a latte, cappuccino, macchiato or just plain black espresso?"

Art entered the hut and looked around. Couch, fireplace, books. "This is a very cozy hut you have Jordan," Art said with a smile in his voice. He liked it very much. "My w-wife and I used to have a cabin in the Cotswolds, a bit like this." He missed it, but he just had no use for it since her passing, so they had sold it. He took a seat on the couch and felt very comfortable. Good thing the coffee was coming, or he'd fall asleep again, surely.

Art listened to Jordan, taking in everything he was saying. "An archaeologist, that's very impressive. I-I've been to uhh... to," he tried to think of it "Thailand once. Just once. Lovely place."

"Peppermint green tea, I have some of that. If you ever make your way to the castle and need a cup, I have plenty in the office." Art loved tea. And peppermint green tea was lovely too. Good for digestion, but he was sure Jordan didn't particularly want to talk about digestion with him. "Oh.. oh uhh..." all the choices, "P-perhaps a latte? Thank you Jordan." The smell was heavenly.

Marsha had been thinking, and rethinking and reevaluating that rethinking… and really it was just getting to be beyond ridiculous. Which meant that she needed to talk to someone about what she was thinking about. Really, there was only one person that could be since Professor Flamsteed was no longer here, and although she had known her previous CoMC Professor’s better than Professor Hernandez, she really liked him already.

Jogging her way down to his hut in the nice crisp January air helped to clear her thoughts and she gave a rap-a-tat-tat to the door as she usually did. It was relatively early on a Saturday morning, but she knew that the Professor would be up by now; no way Big Boss would let him sleep in and not feed him or walking him. Which, was another reason she needed to talk to the Professor. Waiting with a smile on her face, she thought about the hugs she would give the cuddly retriever when she saw him.

Just because it's winter, it doesn't mean that he stopped taking care of the creatures at the barn. In fact, those creatures became very needy in cold weather like this. That's why Jordan was still up early to work at the barn.

Walking back to his hut, the CoMC professor saw a student was waiting outside for him. Or dear, he always forgot to put the sign that he wasn't in the hut when he's away to the barn or somewhere else. "Miss Hanover," He greeted the Gryffindor girl. "Come on in, I hope you're not waiting for too long." He spoke as he opened the hut's door and let her in.

Sha didn’t mind waiting, after all she knew that the Professor had a thing for coffee - and he was right too. If you stopped making tea pr in the middle, it really didn’t taste the same as it could have… never as good. Ever. Maybe that was her mum’s influence, but there was just something special about making the perfect brew.

However, when her welcome came, it didn’t come from in front of her but rather from behind. Grinning, she looked over her shoulder. ”Hello, Professor.” Although she had liked Draper - and Thompson before him - the Gryffindor would be lying if she said she didn’t like her new Professor. Beaming happily, she followed him into his hut, glad of the warmth even though she wasn’t that cold outside.

”No, not even the time the kettle would take to boil.” She knew. She knew how long it took, because she loved tea… and she hadn’t been outside for that long. Looking around, she smiled at Big Boss. ”Hey boy.” She said, slinking to her knees so that she could talk to the golden retriever. ”I’m not interrupting anything am I, Professor?” You know, just checking.

Even though she said that she wasn't waiting for too long, but still the CoMC professor felt bad to make her waiting outside, in a cold weather like this. Opening the door, he let the Gryffindor girl entered his hut. "Please, have a seat. Would you like some coffee?" He offered. Jordan had roasted and grind some coffee beans before, so it wouldn't take a long time to brew a cup of coffee for him and the guest. Winter here makes his caffeine consumption had gone higher than other season.

"No, you're not interrupting at all. I was just finished feeding the horses and don't have anything else to do." He answered. "Well uh... What makes you come here? Do you need something?" Jordan asked Marsha.
