"Well the astronomers should have lived longer." Kyroh answered, because that made sense to him. Why wouldn't they at least try so then they could actually see when people started to believe them?

One moment Kyroh was sitting down, seconds away from falling asleep, and the next moment, he was standing up, in a orb costume thing and the desks were gone and they were going to play a GAME?!

DODGEBALL!

He could dodge a ball! Or a pendulum! Though in this weird circle suit thingy....

Hands pushing against the plastic of the costume Kyroh was ready, reaaaady, reaaaady and GOOO!

As soon as Flamsteed gave the order Kyroh was OFF! His little feet pushing off as he tried to remain control of the costume. He had to go forward and doge the pendulum and it was eaaasssy. Or at least it seemed that way. As soon as he took off the heat in the costume began to grow. Why was it so hot? Huh? It took him a second and then it hit him.

He was in SUMMER! Duh.

With each step he took the heat intensified and he could feel his hair clinging to his head with sweat.

Kyroh Scabior was going to die. Burn to death in a bubble!! Gasping for air Kyroh tried to run faster but ended up pushing too hard forward and tumbled forward in the bubble, causing it to start spinning toward the wall.

Dodge ball!!! "YESSSSS!!!" she bellowed. She loved sports and dodgeball was a favorite of hers. She hung on to every word the professor said and jumped out of her seat as soon as the professor had asked her to do it. The space was cleared and it would be game on soon. As he explained the rules she was a bit confused. AJ raised her hand. "Just to be clear professor, we aren't actually going to throw balls at anybody?" Because that was dodge ball to her, but she had to remember that this was the magical world and their idea of things were usually different than hers.

The costumes looked wicked and she quickly put hers on not wanting to miss out on anything. As the pendulum came down she realized that it was the "ball" part of dodge ball and she could work with that. Knowing that nobody could actually fall out of the tower was reassuring because she would hate to die without ever knowing how to properly use her wand. She looked over to her sister and did the two finger point at her eyes letting her know that it was officially game on, her competitive side immediately taking over.

It was time. Everybody was set and AJ immediately watched the pendulum and took off. This was difficult because there were so many people and trying to dodge the huge swinging pendulum was proving to be not as easy as she first thought. A cool breeze hit her face and blew her hair behind her head. "That feels nice." Orange, and yellow leaves began to fall all around her and before she knew it one was blocking her vision. Usually she was quick on her feet, but she never had to deal with thousands of leaves falling right in her line of vision... RUDE. SMACK!

The pendulum came out of nowhere. "This is awesome." She knew to expect the unexpected now, and she would change up the came from now on. Even though the professor never really said that anybody would be a winner, she was going to be. She was going to win this!

Pendulum Dodgeball? Sander had mentioned that the Professor's Astronomy classes were always interesting and he wasn't wrong. Who would have thought, he, Cris would be playing dodgeball in an Astronomy lesson.

Donning one of the costumes the Professor had provided, Cris stood outside the perimeter of the Pendulum's striking distance as he studied its momentum. Back and forth...back and forth. Simple enough. It was time to join in the fun.

Running inside, he found himself having not to only dodge the ball but his fellow students, as some came tumbling past him. Jump....dodge to the side...wait here comes the ball. Instead of running away from the ball, Cris headed towards it. It got nearer...nearer....and when it was almost over him, he dodged and ran around it and kept on running as fast he could.

Orange and yellow colored leaves began falling all around him, the air was cooler. Autumn! Yes his favorite time of year, Cris smiled to himself as he completed his first orbit. Now for his next orbital run.

BRRRR… had someone left the freezer open, Bay started to shiver as he started to run. Then a full on blizzard was in front of him. "how am I supposed to make it through that" he yelled over the blasting wind.. he started to slow down because the wind was pushing him backwards. ono he needed to keep up his pace to not get hit with the swinging thingy again.

Putting everything he had into his run he could feel the snow crusting his hair and his fingers felt frozen, thats when he felt it.. something just swooshed right behind him, making him stop right where he was. He didn't need to turn around to see what it was. He almost got hit again UGHHHHHH…

starting to run again for fear of freezing to death where he stood he picked up his pace to make it to spring. he needed a defrost and badly.

As Lux continued to walk around her orbit, the leaves disappeared and snow started to fall. Things were rather cold now, and she wished she had a jacket on.

Shivering, she tried to keep her mind off of how cold she was as she watched out for the pendulum. It was harder to see now because the snow was effecting her visibility more than the leaves had. Could she please enter Spring already so this snow would melt?

Trying her best to make it to the next season as quickly as possible, Lux missed the pendulum swinging right towards her. The impact sent her flying, and she hit an invisible wall, rolling around in the snow. It was as if she was in her own personal snow globe.

Time to move.

Maddie listened very carefully to the directions after she'd stood up and gotten out of the way so Professor Top Hat could move the desks. The activity seemed challenging, especially with the giant pendulum thing. It also seemed like fun so the small brunette wasted no time pulling on her planet costume bubble thing-a-majig. Then she positioned herself against the barrier so she could get comfortable inside of the thing. SPEAKING of, it was sort of chilly in here. Actually, maybe BRISK was a better term but STILL. The eleven year old shivered slightly and then her eyes widened because there were LEAVES at the bottom of her little ball, right around where she was standing. She blinked and then stepped on one just to make sure she wasn't imagining things. Hearing a CRUNCH, her eyes widened and she smiled a little. That was interesting. CRUNCH. CRUNCH. CRUNCH. Seemed like Autumn to her. It also seemed like a good time to start moving.

Carefully, Maddie made her way out into the trail of students orbiting past. She kept glancing at the pendulum, trying to get her timing right so that she wouldn't be struck by it. It didn't help that a light breeze had picked up inside her costume and the leaves were now blowing around her. She BLINKED and swatted them as best she could but it was no use. The weather changes weren't something she could control. Unfortunately, this meant that her timing with the pendulum was a bit off because at one point during her circle, the thing seemed to be coming RIGHT at her. She BLINKED but remained calm because she could handle this, right? SURE! She just needed to move faster. So Maddison picked up her pace, pushing against the planet costume thing and moving her legs faster so she could get out of the way in time. This might actually wo- O_____O

Suddenly Maddie found that she was no longer in control of her planet thing. NOPE! She was doing somersaults as it barreled forward towards her classmates and the pendulum. She wasn't exactly panicked by this fact as there was no way she'd be pushed off the Astronomy Tower but she was wondering how many classmates she was about to take out. She was also wondering how she was meant to get up after this. Dizzy Eagle was dizzy. Merlin.

As soon as Bay made it to the edge of winter things started to defrost. He stopped to shake off the snow before he entered spring. BAD MISTAKE.. he wasn't paying attention and the swingy thing came right at him and knocked him back into a pile a snow.

laying there for a moment to catch his breath again he decided to make a snow angle and slowly get up to dust himself off again.. seeing the thing swing away from him he gave it the dirtiest look he could muster.

Nope he did not like this swinging thingy, if his looks could stop it from swinging that would be great… but wait it was coming at him again… "IS THAT THING SPEEDING UP??" he started to get nervous as he started to sprint for spring… would he be safe at winter's end and springs entrance? He hoped so as he tried his best to make it…

Damn, she had been so sure of herself, maybe she wasn't getting the hang of astronomy after all... Pendulums, that made a lot of sense actually, and as the Professor explained how they worked Justine found herself nodding and soaking it all in appreciatively, seriously astronomy was so amazing, she just wished she was better at it.

Whoooa! What an impressive bit of magic that had been, Justine was impressed, she hadn't thought Professor Flamsteed was capable of something like that. her bad. Clearly the Professor was more gifted than his appearance would suggest.

A few minutes later Justine was once again surprised, this time by being enveloped in... Planetary costume? That's what the Professor had called it anyway. Well, this was fun. And they had to do what now? Orbit? Justine didn't really mind, she was more a doer than a thinker for the most part anyway.

Beginning her *orbit* with a slight run, Justine grinned as brown, red and golden colored leaves started to fall all around her, it was lovely, albeit, totally and completely distracting. The pendulum was so fast! And it was coming close, much too close for comfort! Justine put on a quick burst of speed, just missing a fellow student as she narrowly dodged the fast swinging pendulum.

Justine sighed with relief as she made it past the first season without much incident.

Getting to her feet, Lux shook the snow off of her clothes and out of her hair. The sooner she was out of this cold snow, the better.

Watching the pendulum nervously, she wasn't sure when to make a run of it. Of course hesitation was not a good thing and she needed to get out of the cold, but the last hit had shook her some. Snap out of it, Lux. It's just a swinging ball. It can't hurt you.

Feeling silly for her moment of nervousness, she waited for the pendulum to swing back before darting past it. Now could the cold and snow disappear?

Tora stepped aside as there was a mass rush for the planetary costumes to plan her strategy. The pendulum had an obvious cadence, and if she timed it just right she wouldn't get hit! By the pendulum. No promises for the tons of other students, but she could always push past those! Once the lineup for the planet suits had eased up, she waited until the pendulum was a safe distance away and ran to put one on herself.

She situated herself a bit inside and waited for whatever the enchanted season would throw at her. Funny... there didn't seem to be anything going on? The globe was still clear, she didn't feel any change in temperature, and there wasn't anything- oh. Oh no. Tora had looked up to see ominous clouds gathering at the top of the costume. She cursed just as the rain began. What kind of Autumn was this?! And did it rain! It was raining so hard, she could barely see out of once clear globe. She stuck out a wet hand and wiped the water droplets off the side so she could see where the pendulum was, which was of course headed her way. She immediately jumped into action, frantically running and pushing against the side of the costume. It just skimmed her on the way outside the circle of running students. Luckily she hadn't slipped on the water coating the inside or she would have gotten hit by the pendulum. Speaking of the rainstorm, she looked up at the continually darker clouds. This obviously wasn't any kind of Autumn she had seen. Fall was dry. And chilly. This weather was humid and warm and rainstormy. So spring? That didn't make any sense, they were supposed to start in fall. Her thoughts were interrupted by a flash of light and an EXTREMELY loud

BOOOM

Now she was scared. If it was lightning in her little orb, she could get struck by lightning! After all, she was standing in water and was the tallest thing in the costume. How could she not? But before she could fret about getting attacked by the weather she was thrown to her right, rolling towards the big ball of light that was the "Sun". The pendulum she had narrowly missed before had hit her on it's return journey while she wasn't paying attention. She squeezed her eyes shut tight as she passed through the light and onto the other side. This is where the storm stopped and the wind began.

So far, so good. As she moved around the circle, she flinched as she saw others get hit, although she had confidence no one was actually getting hurt. The air inside of her sphere changed, then. It thinned as she moved into the fall position in the circle. The air inside felt closer to the atmosphere outside. It smelled a little musty, like drying leaves.

Again, she worked to dodge the pendulum, a close call this time. The edge of it grazed her sphere, and made her spin, teetering precariously inside the ball. But the Ravenclaw could only laugh and remind herself that this counted as learning. Yeah. Learning.

Cris chuckled to himself as he studied the bubble he was in. If knew that if he could see himself from the outside, he would look like his pet hamster, running around in his little exercise bubble back home. Thank goodness, his family couldn't see him now.

However, it was now time to make his second orbit run. Cris waited for the Pendulum to swing past him before he began running, pushing against the sides of the bubble in front of him even as he did so. Push down....push down...glance backwards....keep running....keep running.

Even as he ran, Cris could feel himself getting colder. Was that flurries of snow he could see falling inside his costume...and wait was that the smell of firewood burning? Yes it was winter now. Cris's second favorite time of year.

.....and here comes the pendulum. Keeping a constant eye on it, Cris continued to run, moving his bubble along and when the pendulum got close, he pushed on the side of the bubble, causing it to zig zag out of the path of the swinging pendulum. With that out of the way, Cris proceeded back on track and ran for the next orbit.

Kace was ready to go. He saw the pendulum swing, he could beat it....then he tripped over his foot. He then saw the pendulum come towards him and he stood there wide eyed,

WHOMPPPP

The pendulum hit him and he sort of went backward into the snow pile. He even managed to get some into his mouth. He coughed but it all melted so no harm done. He got up and started to run and do his orbit. He ran so fast he narrowly missed it again. Wheww....that was a CLOSE one. Then he began to feel the coldness in the air. He was shivering and then he felt the snowflakes fall onto his head. He shook them out and was smiling. He even opened his mouth to catch them.

He then smelt the firewood burning smell. He loved that smell. He even made some footprints in the snow. He had to focus! He was beginning to go into a running position. He didn't wanna get hit again.

As Lux's planet entered spring, the temperature got warmer and the snow turned into rain. This was much better even though she was now wet.

As she made her way as fast as possible, things got more slippery which was not a good thing when she had to do her best to avoid hitting other planets as well as the pendulum.

Slipping on a puddle, Lux felt herself go flying and hit the invisible wall again. This time when she bounced off, she was splashed with more water as opposed to snow. So that at least was a plus.

Finally!! warmer weather Bay loved the look of snow but not when it was being blasted in your face while running. not cool.

after he had his last meeting lets say from the swinging thing he ran for it like crazy to spring. now that he was running it was too hot with his sweater on, stopping very quickly he took off his sweater to tie around his waist showing his Gryffindor t-shirt he smiled.. house pride right…ahahahah

Another quick look for that crazy thing and he started to run as he watched trees and other plants and animals come to life. "A BUNNY!!!!!" he totally just saw a bunny run across his path, he so wishes he could stop what he was doing to chase it and pet it.. could he just stop and pet the little fluffy thing PLEASE!!!!!!

Laughing at the thought of petting a bunny during Astronomy class he made a run for summer. "maybe there will be a pool?" he could totally go for a swim right now.

Lucy was happy..The lessons of Astronomy were exciting..
She weared one of the costumes while she was staring outside the perimeter of the Pendulum..She studied the movement of the pendulum. She started to run trying to avoid her classmates..She did her orbit and Lucy saw a carpet of leaves red, orange and brown... Autumn! She felt a slight breeze on her face..
Lucy smiled while she finished her first orbit. She was ready for the next orbit!.

Caleb was doing a very good job of avoiding the pendulum. That was the easy part. The hard part was trying to concentrate when the globe he was in kept getting colder and colder, and the leaves under his feet started to disintegrate into puffs of white snow. Sure enough, cold snowflakes started to swirl around him and he was starting to feel like he was in a snowglobe. AND IT WAS COLD. SO SO COLD!

He finished his second orbit, still avoiding that tricky pendulum, and was now in a frozen whirlwind of snow and ice. He moved faster, hoping to get this season over with and back into warmer weather!

Cris was beginning to feel a little warmer now. Even as he maneuvered himself around in his costume, he could smell the scent of fresh flowers and then sneezed. Yep! It was definitely spring time now. He was halfway around the sun right now.

Wait! Where was the pendulum? Cris looked around him. How could he have lost sight of that big pendulum?...and then he found it. Or rather the pendulum found him.

BUMP!! The pendulum graze his costume which sent Cris tumbling backwards. Instead of fighting against the roll, he relaxed. This allowed his costume to stop rolling backwards after a few seconds. Slowly getting back on his feet, Cris breathed a sigh of relief. Then he pushed forward on the side of his costume to move himself back into position before proceeding to run forward again.

Push down...run...push down...run...

Cris kept running towards the next seasonal change

As Gwen somersaulted she noticed that it started to smell like crunchy leaves in the fall. And then there were crunchy leaves floating down around her. This was autumn, with all of it's wonderful smells and Thanksgiving! Except, they didn't do that here either.

She managed to get to her feet, accidentally careening into somebody else as she did, knocking them away from where they had been. What if the planets were like that? What if they bumped into each other and knocked each other around? Well, good thing they didn't, because probably the force of crushing into another planet would kill everyone on earth.

Before to hurry up Lucy waited for the pendulum to swing back..Then she started to run..
For a moment Lucy thought she was skating on the lake with her parents .. The air was cold..Was it homesickness?..
She began to run faster .. She finished her second orbit, avoiding the pendulum..
She needed to find a warmer climate .. even inside her heart ..

Layla quickly finished her notes before packing away her notebook and hopping gladly out of her seat. Her leg had been starting to hurt from trying to keep her firmly planted in her seat anyway. But then Flamsteed explained what they were doing. Not cool. She didn't want to be trapped in a ball with rain, snow, cold and whatever else. Nope.

Too late. She was in a ball. Having to run like a hamster in a wheel. With leaves falling all around her, crunching under her feet and getting tangled in her hair. Blah. And everyone wandered why she preferred the dessert? Suddenly, she slipped on one of the leaves in her planet bubble thing and went a rolling. Bubble and all.

"Agh!" And she was hit. Or not. Nope, she had hit the invisible barrier and was knocked into the center of the circle, where she was then hit by the pendulum and knocked back into the barrier, starting a cycle where she was basically a human pinball. Once she had completed a full go around the circle, she was able to slow herself down and start being a hamster again. Though, she was pretty dizzy............

Truth be told, Beverly wasn't expecting a class activity like this one. It was quite exciting, running from a giant ball that could toss you like a rag doll AND at the same time learn. Quite exciting, indeed.

Sliding into one of the bubble suits, Beverly stretched her arms apart, her fingertips searching for each side of the bubble. She couldn't reach, but that was alright, she'd tackle the suit if she needed to move faster...which was NOW.

A drizzle of red, orange and brown leaves fell over, alerting her it was Autumn and she needed to get a move on. Stepping forward cautiously at first, then with more momentum, the Slytherin made it in the clear before the ball hit her. Merlin! What an adrenaline rush.

This guy was a madman, wasn't he?? Dec stared at the big plastic balls he was making them wear. Can't he just stand off to the side like he was?? No? Okay.

He stepped into the costume and walked (ROLLED??) over to where he thought Autumn might be. The place to start, yeah? Okay in position. He took one step and then suddenly he felt something fall on his head. What the...leaves?! What the heck was this, Flamsteed?! Looks like he's going to be swimming in leaves.

*Step, Crunch, Step, Crunch*

It was a bit a chilly, but nothing he couldn't handle. Dec held a hand above his eyes so he could see through the falling leaves. How far was Winter and how far was from him was the pendulum??

Well THAT had been a fail. Maddie eventually found herself up against the barrier and she took the chance to straighten up and check her limbs to make sure they were in working order. YUP! NOBODY PANIC! She was good to continue.

Getting back into the swing of things, Maddie completed her first orbit and then started her second. She was quite cold by this point and her breath was fogging up the ball so she had to keep using one hand to make it so she could see. PLUS the leaves were gone and now there was light snow underneath her feat. Super slippery, that was. She tried not to fall as she picked up speed and hoped it'd be enough to keep her from getting WHOMPED by the giant pendulum of doom. It'd be SUPER cool if Professor Top Hat could stop it for a second and then SHE could get ON the pendulum and have a ride instead of being a target. She s'posed that'd never happen, though. SAD days.

But HEY! She'd made it past the thing and THIS time she was totally in control. PLUS the snow was starting to melt and though it was that YUCKY slush stuff now, it meant warmer weather. It HAD to mean warmer weather, yeah? She liked the sound of that. She DID like Summer BEST, after all.

This. Was. AWESOME!!!!!!!! Getting in a giant planet suit he stretched a bit, COOL! could he take one home and could this be a new school sport since quidditch wasn't a thing anymore, at least not now it wasn't. watching the pendulum swing he tried his best to time it as he prepped himself and his giant ball for the running.

It was now or never and he took off running as fact as his ball allowed him, making it into the Autumn section just as the pendulum came back and hit the backside of his planet!ball sending him tumbling towards the ground as rustled leaves filled his suit, It was like he was jumping in a pile of um!
