Entering the common room through a still life painting near the kitchens, you will find the spacious room known as your House Common Room. Welcome! Your common room is your sanctuary. During your seven years here, your house will be like your family. The large room is designed around the fireplace, which sits in the very middle, and will more than likely be your favorite place on cold winter nights.

Flanking off and into the rest of the room, the room is furnished with plush armchairs, generally in clusters of two or four. There are also comfortable large couches that might swallow you up, if you're not careful. The wall decor is, of course, Hufflepuff house colors. There are also yellow and black hangings around the room.

A large solid wood table is set up to the far side of the room, the perfect place to study, and should you find yourself in need of inspiration, portraits of memorable Hufflepuffs such as Nymphadora Tonks, Cedric Diggory, and even Zacharias Smith, flying on his broomstick, line the walls around you.

Opposite, you will find two underground tunnels, each going a different way, to the right the tunnel will lead you to the boy's dorms, and to the left, the girl's dorms.

At the sound of Dr. Pepper, Aaron pulled another bottle out of one of his many pockets and let out a satisfied sigh. 'Marry me, Doctor.'

When Alyssa mentioned the party Aaron shook his head, FOCUS. There were things more important than Dr Pepper. Even if he would never admit it.

'RIGHT, PARTY!' He pulled heaps of candy and drinks out of his bag and pockets, let the party begin.

Didn't come across as friendly? Professor Lafay was probably even friendlier!
Okay, that was a lie. Still, she didn't like him.
BUT NOW SHE DID. Success!

'Come off as not friendly?' Aaron shook his head dramatically, 'pfffsh, none of that! None of that! You were delightful, Minerva.' He flashed the two girls a grin.

Aaron then spotted a firsty, looking very lonely. He jumped up and down to get her attention, waving his arms over his head.
'Hi there! You should join our party! But it's not started yet, as you can plainly see.' He smiled at her, that was a good greeting, right? Oh yeah, name. 'Aaron Roberts. HI!'

Minerva couldn't help but giggle at Aaron. He was goofy, wasn't he. She dramatically rolled her eyes. "Ok Aaron what every you say." She knew she wasn't nice to him, but if he was willing to say she wasn't she would take it. "Hope your having a good day, but for some reason I can't help but believe that all your days are good days."

Maybelle laughed. "Be nice to Isobel. Don't want Jake coming back." She said, waiting to see if his face was going to go cold or something. After all, jake had broken Damien's nose.

Maybelle made her "ick" face, and scoffed. "Why would I want Gryffindor colors? I am a Badger, and proud." She said. Gryffindor was lame. Hufflepuff was the best house.

Except maybe for the time where his brother had locked him into his bedroom and refused to get him out. He'd gotten so bored after 30 minutes, that he'd tried climbing out through his window and fallen and broken his arm. That was one of the lesser days.

Aaron grinned, apparently she was making an effort to be nice now. Not that he minded.
'I'm from le tiny town in the south west,' he frowned, it was too boring there. 'I'm a Fifthy.' He nodded, but then frowned again, OWLs meant studying. Too much of it. Studying was like his arch enemy. 'Yeah, PARTY IN THE COMMON ROOM! But more people should come. And bring food. And such.'

"Fine be disapointed, im staying non childish thank you." she said in a sort of polite way. She prefered to be mature, which was probably why she always got along with the older students better.

She didn't expect Aaron to get so upset that she wouldn't dress up but she still wasn't going to do it, it was waaaay to embaressing. If he wanted to dress ip he could she wasn't going to stop him from embaressing himself. "No..its too embaressing" she said and not even a second later she heard Alyssa's voice behind her.

Minerva frowned a little. She had no clue where he was talking about. "I'm from the U.S." She said. "Well if you tell me what I can bring I can try to get food." Not sure where a first year was to get food...

Bored. That's what Kita was. Bored.

She trudged along the familiar corridor towards the cosy common room, hoping that something would come along to bring her out of this misery that was her boredom. Heck, something had to happen right? This was Hogwarts! Something ALWAYS happens here.

OOMPH!

"Oh, i'm-" Great(!) Trust her to bump into the barrels that contain the doorway to the common room! Sighing, she whipped out her wand, tapped the correct barrel and crawled into the common room where... nothing. Just a bunch of Hufflepuffs sitting around.

The sound of talking and various laughter filled her ears as she made her way towards the dorms. Maybe she could find-

Wait... Did someone say party?!

The brunette turned on her heel, her hair smacking her across her face as she did so. But she didn't care. This was a PARTY for Melin's sake! Or... the word 'party' was mentioned. Either way, she was joining in. And she didn't care that she looked like she was the oldest there. Pfft! Even if she was an old granny who needed the aid of a walking stick, she'd still party! She'd just have to brandish her stick in the air as she wiggled her hips.

Kita looked around and frowned slightly. No party was complete without food. So where was this- Wait... was that DR. PEPPER?! And SWEETIES?! Merlin, this was going to be a good party wasn't it? Letting out a huge squeal, she ran over to the group of people and jumped into an armchair.

"So what are we celebrating?" she asked.

Yes, she was intruding and she was going to style it out.

Alyssa hugged Ness back. "Don't listen to Aaron. He's always suggesting something crazy, which is funny most of the time. But in this case, I think that if he wants somebody to go around the school wearing a monster suit, I think that he should do it because looking like a monster is right down his alley. In fact I dare him to do it," Alyssa laughed at Aaron, daring him to be the one to put on the suit.

As for the party. It's not anybody's birthday. We just decided to snag some snacks from Muggle Studies and have a party to share it with everyone.

Aaron managed a fake huff, 'fine, I'll be childish on YOUR behalf then.' He stuck his tongue out at her.

'MONSTER SUIT! DO IT! Pleaase. I will love you forever!' Aaron begged her. It just sounded to great to not do it. 'It's nobody's party. I really can't remember who came up with it...' He frowned, not sure whether it'd been him, he'd been too hyper during Muggle Studies. 'Do join.'

But apparently the witch trials weren't from Salem. At least, that was what some other First year had told him. But that didn't matter now, cause they were going to have a party. With food.

Aaron groaned. Alyssa seemed to know he couldn't pass down a dare. 'CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!' He shouted. He wasn't going to chicken out.
Monster suit it'd be. And he'd do it like no other. 'Kiiiing!' He shouted in a high pitched voice, pointing at himself.

So he did organise this? If so, he was going to have to take the blame if it wasn't allowed. But that was to worry about when the time was there. Cause right now he saw Dr. Pepper. AND NEEDED IT. He rushed over and twisted the bottle open, drinking half of it right away. This was too good.

Minerva came back down from the dorm with a few supplies she had brought from home. On her way to the fireplace she looked over and saw Aaron with Dr. Pepper. "Oh goodness AARON slow down on that. You don't need to be crazy again.."

That was one challenge that he ACTUALLY had to think about. Professor Lafay scared him silly. Alyssa couldn't help but laugh when she saw his face after the dare. It actually turned pale for a split second.

Minerva's face turned red knowing she was hiding her favorite snacks, but when she packed she didn't know if she would ever see these yummy treats here.

Oh, Arya decided for his mind. Good. Will he change the subject, though? He will, because his best friend was having the worst time ever as she discussed the one person she was extremely attached to. There was no denying that she was too attached to Sabel, even if she didn't feel like she knew him anymore. It was the same person, or at least Treyen assumed he was still the same, or his feelings towards Arya were the same...or...never mind. Assuming stuff was completely wrong.

"You're right, I never did." Because he'd been too intent on finding out why was his best friend in such a terrible state, "Ellie gave me a second chance," that was the best part of his summer.

"...Maybe." Or maybe he hadn't even gotten tested, because he really didn't care, did he? Arya sighed and stared into the fire intently. It was best not to think on it. She was in a better mode when she wasn't thinking about him. Her fingers worked their way over Perseus, idly fussing over the kneazle as she grew quiet.

Her attention did turn back to Treyen when he finally spoke up about him and Ellie, a small smile working it's way across her lips when she heard the good news. "That's great." Really, he deserved that second chance. "So, are you too dating now?"

'Mindblowing?' Aaron shrugged, he hadn't found classes all that tough, although maybe that was because he usually just copied what others did when things got difficult.
When Alyssa snatched his Dr Pepper away he let out a sad 'awww' and tried to look at her with big puppy eyes. 'But- but, DR P!'

Aaron felt his face light up at her words. Loads of Coke, that meant he could have his Dr Pepper back. He snatched his Dr Pepper back and made a little victory dance.
'Hah! Seems like I will be having my P! Hah die ha!' He attempted some sort of backwards move and fell into a chair, hanging awkwardly over the armrest.
