Gwen came into the common room. Looking for a place where to sit, she found one near the fire. Looking around, she saw another girl with her pet there. Wanting to be nice, she thought of talking to the girl. Hehe-great singing…, she thought while getting closer to her.

When she got near enough to talk to her, Gwen noticed she looked upset. Really- or does it just appear to me? ‘Are you ok?’, the girl finally asked.

Ivan was doing some quick thinking, or trying to. He ignored her glares and the looks James was giving When he felt Neptune go limp in his hands and his eyes widened. What was going on here?!

Glancing at James and not seeing him move he frowned and then looked down at Neptune shaking her slightly. "Tuney?" he asked clearly worried but not understanding why James wasn't. "Should I take her to the nurse?" he asked his best friend as he carried her over to the couch and laid her down.

Turning back to James as he was about to ask him why he wasn't freaking out he saw Finn walk in and decided to focus on Neptune. That situation was going to be awkward enough he was sure. "Tuney..." he whispered. He didn't know any healing spells or if she needed them anyway. Maybe a glass of cold water to the face. That was what they did in those movies right?

Neptune kept up the show. She was deeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddd, see? Limmpppppppp.

But awwww.... Ivan was worried? GOOD. May he fret! He deserved that for BOTH this hug thing AND the kissing thing, and that went without mentioning letting her wander around confunded for ages!

"Mmm she'd love that." Jimmy answered and leaned against the door frame. There was a bit of space for whoever was behind him to squeeze past, but Jim didn't turn to look.

"Hmm. I can see up her skirt." He couldn't, but Jim sounded like he meant it. "I bet she's doing that on purpose. Flashing the entire common room."

Ivan stared worriedly at Neptune, kneeling on the ground and then looked up at James with a frown. Really? "Aren't you at all concerned?" Seriously what was his problem. Turning his eyes back to Neptune he saw she was still breathing steady so knew at least she wasn't like dead or something. That'd be bad not to mention might cause him some serious issues again.

Hearing James' comment he pushed himself up off the floor. "Dude! What is your problem?!" Yeah there might have been a bit of irritation in his tone at how nonchalant his best friend was acting about the girl he supposedly liked who'd just passed out. Some caring might have been nice so then she'd at least know he CARED but noooooooo.

Neptune GASPED and almost gave up the WHOLE THING - when Ivan pretty much defended her honor and saved her from an extra layer of embarrassment. She was NOT indecent and she was ... well, suddenly wishing she COULD faint on command.

Jimmy was full on getting ignored. Possibly for life.


"....Ivan? I'm okay."Neptune's voice was TINY. She sat up and made a VERY BIG SHOW of smoothing all the wrinkles and creases from her skirt. "I'm sorry. I just... Don't worry about it. Or him. I'm fine. Sorry."


Soooooooooooooooooooooo embarrassed. But fine. She was fine. Neptune pulled a pillow into her lap and picked at the edges. All the Ravenclaw boys could just GO AWAY now. All of them.

"Your outrage is misplaced." Just fyi.

".... so was there actually anything you guys wanted me for?" He had intentions of finding Cassie after this. Sooner the better, but he'd stay for them if they actually needed something.

Ivan turned around as he heard his name and saw Neptune sitting up. Well at least she was fine...but still.... He glared at James pointedly in a what in the hell do you think you're doing fashion of his.

He eyed his friend curiously with his back to Neptune. "Funny way to show you care, mate," he muttered loud enough that James could hear. He hadn't believed Neptune before but he certainly did now. But...he couldn't have been that far off....

"No we don't need you," he said turning and walking over toward Neptune. He dropped himself in a chair across from her and stared at the two thoughtfully.

Neptune was just EMBARRASSED. She had set out to get Ivan's mind off of things and just ended up kissed, confunded, and then embarrassed to feigning faints. Her cheeks burned red at what Ivan said and she wished he hadn't.

She keeled over onto the couch, still hugging the pillow. "Can't believe you let me walk around Hogwarts with feathers in my hair. How many people saw?" ..... ehhh. Her attempt to move on was kind of pathetic, but at least she tried.

Riiiiiight. So he'd come all the way up here for no reason, and all he'd got for it was witnessing a sulk and Ivan getting all righteous over nothing.

"Suit yourselves." Jim pushed off the doorframe and turned to go out, startled to find Finlay standing there.

He gave him a look and pushed past, heading downstairs to look for Cass.

Okay. So this was slightly awkward, and Finlay kind of regretted coming up here, because well it was kind of not good. Firstly Jimmy was here, and that was just awful. And then Neptune was all like fainted. Finn was kind of worried about her, but like then he was like rooted to the spot. It wasn't good at all.
But then Jimmy was pushing past him. Well that was interesting. Finn kind of stared at the empty space where his ex-best friend had been. Hmm. Then he looked over at the others.


"Er....hey guys."

After the game Presley wandered back to her common room. Though it was quite warm, she didn't remove her cloak. Her body temperature was freezing at this point. She moved to an armchair close to the fire, and sat. Kicking off her shoes she pulled her knees close to her and leaned her head back against the bacck of the chair. Supressing a shiver, she curled in tighter. The room seemed pretty quiet and subdued. Just the way Presley had hoped it would be. She was in the sort of mood where she wanted to be surounded by people, but she didn't want a lot of noise. She wanted to be alone with her thoughts, with the added comfort that people were there, and life went on. People could be easily accesible if something were to happen, or if Presley decided that she did need to go to the hospital wing after all. Her bright purple eyes closed gently, pulled down by her long eyelashes. She wasn't asleep by any means, just thoughtful. She almost wished someone would come talk to her, at the same time she hoped everyone would just leave her in peace.

Ivan watched from his chair as James left not missing the look he gave Finn and then turned his attention toward Neptune looking slightly concerned. He looked up as Finn walked over to them and nodded, "Hey Finn."

Though it seemed Neptune wanted to lighten the mood a lot. Giving her a smile he looked at her hair and then up at his hair that still had feathers in it and grinned. "I thought it was kind of cute personally. Umm...do you mind fixing mine now though since I fixed yours?" Was only fair right?

BY NOW.... Neptune should have been used to watching Jim leave, even when she wasn't actually looking.

But she wasn't. And there it was.


"Hi Finny." Pause pause pause. "Can you fix Ivan's hair? I... I don't feel very good. I'm going to lay down."

Neptune got up, waved to Finny, and threw Ivan a look.It was something like an apology-look. "Catch up later?" Yeahhh. Neptune retreated to the stairs and disappeared into her dorm.

Luna walked into the common room it was quite empty which was odd it was never empty although she was never really there so early but still she saw one of her best friends Presley by the fire she looked quite peacefull so Luna didn't know what to do say hello or just leave her in peace but she was sure Presley could tell Luna if she wanted to be on her own she would understand Luna liked to be by herself aswell to think things over she sat down in her favourite chair and put a book on her lap she was quite upset looking she looked as if she would never smile or laugh ever again it was like that since her beloved mother and sister passed away ''Hey Pres!'' said Luna ''What's up?'' Luna flicked threw the pages of her book pretending like she found it interesting now all of a sudden then she tied up her hair it was rather long and got in her way somtimes

Presley opened her eyes and put her feet down upon hearing Luna's voice. "Hey, Luna. I'm just thinking. You okay?" Luna didn't look so good. In fact, she looked downright miserable. As if all of the happiness had just been sucked from her life. Like, well it kind of had, Presley reminded herself. Presley tried to offer her friend a smile, and it sort of worked. It came out more as a grimace, but at least it was an effort. "Working on homework?" Presley glanced at the book in Luna's hands.

''Yeah much better'' said Luna trying to grin ''Oh no i'm done I just got a few books from the liabrary it's nice to... think things over there'' Luna actully smiled it was quite forced but she felt better

Presley nodded mildly before leaning in closer to Luna. "Luna, it'sokay to not be okay right now. You don't always have to be strong, and always pretend to be happy for everyone else." Presley passed on her brothers words of wisdom, ones that she'd never followed herself, but she felt Luna needed to hear.

Being a seventh year and all, Neptune had her own spot in the Common Room. The House Elves (or maybe first year baby Claws?) always seemed to move her favorite chair, but Neptune didn't particularly mind moving it back whenever she wanted to use it. In the afternoons, this "spot" was where the sun shined into the Common Room and provided that extra bit of warmth without having to sit near the oftentimes crowded fireplace.

She curled up in the big squishy chair, her hair pulled back from her face and her History of Magic book resting on her lap lit up from the rays of sun streaming in. She wasn't really studying, but using the book as a hard surface to write out a few letters to her siblings. La la la. Off in her own little world. Soaking up the sun. MmmMm.

Ivan was still running feeling kind of giddy and only stopped to answer the stupid door's question. As soon as it opened he ran into the room and spotted Neptune instantly. Running over to her he skidded to a stop and fell into the chair beside her. "HI!"

Hehe.

"Doing homework? Can I help?" O_O He was offering to help with homework...willingly.... Meh he shrugged and bounced his feet on the floor feeling all jittery.

Ahh. Ivan. Neptune gave him a caution and concerned look. Was he better from the other day? She was wearing his earrings, today and made a point to reach up and touch them so he'd notice.

You just couldn't trust boys to always notice. Sometimes they needed help, poor creatures.

"I'm writing to my sisters. One was sick recently, and the other just had a baby." Making her, again, kind of turn into the NON-extraordinary Bott. SIGH. "So... no. I'm good thanks," Neptune shifted around in the chair so she could be more social since she had a guest to her "spot". "What are you up to today?" Miss Bott asked in a polite and conversationalist way.

''I suppose so i'm just so used to that some how it makes me feel better'' said Luna ''I'll try your way though'' Luna flicked threw her book again ''It made you feel better didn't it'' Luna poped her head up and looked at Presley

Yeah yeah. Congrats to Ellsworth. Baby Sebastian WAS pretty cute, though Neptune was reserving judgement until she actually got to meet him. She raised an eyebrow at Ivan's explanation.

"Doodling in the library?" Pause. Pause pause pause. "Waiting on me for what?" Ivan knew her schedule???

He was SO up to something.

Ivan grinned at Neptune's comment. Well that was true he did. "Nothing wrong with having an ego."

He watched her sign her name and smiled as he got her full attention. "Yeah doodling." He fidgeted in the chair and brought his leg under him. "Just to hang out." Was that so wrong? He liked hanging out with Tuney.
