One of the corridors on the third floor is home to a large collection of armor. Be careful not to touch or the caretaker may give you detention to clean up your fingerprints (and everyone else's).

"Sometimes, I can't wait to be out of here," Neptune responded immediately. "This term... this whole experience... it wasn't anything like what I thought it would be. Did you know," Neptune lowered her voice to a whisper, "that I'm actually not a Princess?" Hogwarts taught her that. She had learned that the hard way. "But mostly I think I'll just miss... people. Like you." And others.

Neptune played her fingers over Legend's, then simply intertwined their fingers and held onto his hands. She swung them gently between herself and him. "...if you really are interested... then I'll be happy to." REALLY happy to. She might even tell Legend about her after Hogwarts plans. Who knew? Maybe he'd interesting in visiting her....? Who knew he'd be so interested in her playing?? It ENTIRELY delighted Neptune. Entirely.

"Katie?" As in, he could start..... there. "The Hufflepuff. Orlando ... brought her up."

Leaving Hogwarts wasn't something that had really crossed his mind this year. It still felt...for some reason like he would be returning back in September like he did every other year. And Legend didn't know what he thought about that. "But...only sometimes right? Like..sometimes you want to stay?" She couldn't hate it completely! No. She couldn't. That would mean that being at Hogwarts was just horrible for her. The blond chuckled. Princess Neptune! Why did that make him laugh. "You can still be a Princess if you want to be. I've been telling people for years that I'm a Prince. It's all how you carry your self. And you act all lady, so you seem Princess-y to me." Neptune would be smart to take his advice. No one could tell him that he was not royalty or important! It was why he had it sketched into his mind that he would name his first born son Prince Legend Chosen the Second...so pople couldn't doubt his importance.

Legend could feel his cheeks begin to warm. Neptune was actually going to miss him? That was a first. He couldn't remember the last time someone said that they were going to miss him. Usually it was just sarcastic but...Legend really didn't blame them. "Well...we have to keep in touch then. So you won't miss me too much."

"Can you make a special song for me?" It had to be cool and sound pretty. That was what Legend wanted. A special song.

Katie? He gazed down at their intertwined hands and sighed. He should have known. Oddly enough, it didn't bother him. "My ex-girlfriend...and sort of ex-best friend...who is now my friend...what about her?"

Legend smirked, he enjoyed the peace between him and Neptune but that didn't mean that he wouldn't try to get her riled up. "Hmm, nope. You can't be. I'm going to be King you see and I don't need another person there to help me run stuff." He wanted to make all the rules and be in charge by himself.

"Yeah...why? Don't want me to?" A confused look fell over the Gryffindors face. He blinked a couple times before continuing. "I won't owl you if you don't want me too." So that meant that Neptune really wouldn't miss him? The thought made him frown. He had been right before, not that many people would miss him. He tried to look excited as Neptune basically said she would write a song for him but he really couldn't. If she didn't want to keep in touch he would probably never her the song anyways.

What about Katie? Legend bit his lip. If there were ever a time when he understood girl language it would not be now. What was there too tell? Neptune knew that Katie was a Hufflepuff and his ex-girlfriend and friend. He was sure that if Katie heard him talking about her to someone else he'd get another punch in the stomach. "Um...I dated her dated last year? We've been friends really since we was like 5 cause our sisters were best friends and they forced us to play together." Those actually weren't good times. Legend still wasn't sure what else he was suppose to say. "She's really hot headed and would probably kill me for telling you stuff. Um...we were...briefly...engaged.." Yeah, Legend was sure not many people knew that. "But we broke up after she thought I cheated on her...which I didn't but you know lack of trust got me mad." He shrugged his shoulders. He had gotten nothing from Neptune about Jimmy but he was still going on. "I still...have feelings for her I guess...okay I do. And the whole Orlando punching me thing was because she was still upset about the break up and Orlando thought it wasn't right that I was off kissing other girls...well you." Had he said enough? Was that even what she wanted? Legend really quit.

"Haven't heard that in a while." Legend smirked as he stuffed his hands into his pocket. Neptune really did get upset over the simplest things. "Are you sure about that? Cause I'm sure that King Henry the..." Legend paused for a moment, counting the silly roman numeral numbers in his head. "the eight of England didn't think so." And if he did why were all his Queens killed? Exactly. Point one for Legend, zero for Neptune.

"Oh!" The look of confusion vanished from his face. That made sense. "Do you not think I can write?" Of course he was just joking. A bit? He didn't really understand why she didn't think he would write but he let that go. "I'll visit too then."

"Yes." He nodded slowly. Really, barely anyone knew of that. He even doubted if Orlando knew. They had kept it a secret, which Legend now realized had been smart. "Engaged to be married to Katie...yes."

Then the explosion happened. He really wasn't expecting it but it- along with Neptune's raised voice- came out in full force. Backing away a bit, Legend slowly took in the question. Neptune...didn't get it. But it made perfect sense to him. "Cause....I didn't propose to just any girl. It was Katie. I- I don't flirt with Katie." Did he? No. That was weird. "We've known each other for so long and so well that really it wasn't some mushy feelings sort of moment. It was really just a question after I told her that I loved her." Legend sighed. His smile instantly disappearing. He ran his hand through his hair once before he even looked back at Neptune. She made him sound pathetic. She made him sound like the same monster Orlando had made her seem like. Someone who really didn't care about other people's feelings. "Honestly? .....I don't know if she would get back with me. I think now she realized that I didn't cheat. But...right now I don't care. I do love Katie. But I don't want to date Katie right now. After knowing me for years, she believed that I would actually cheat. That hurt. So why should I be with someone who doesn't trust me?" That was what had hurt him the most. They had also ruined their whole friendship because of it and dating her wasn't worth messing up their friendship. He sighed once again before plopping down on the ground.

She nodded to the break up thing. True enough, that part sucked. And not being able to be friends sucked, too. "Hearing Legend Chosen is scared makes me feel better. It's okay to be scared. I get scared everyday." True enough, for one reason or another. "You think it makes you sound weak, but I think it makes you... makes you even better of a person than I already thought you were." There were a lot of what if's that Neptune was asking. Enough for Legend to get suspicious, and realize that her questions might be deeper than just dealing with him. "Is this about Jimmy?" He asked in a near whisper.

Without questioning her, Legend sat down next to Neptune, obviously to try and make her feel better. "That is different....I'm a bo-man." Yeah, that's what he was. He was was an adult and a man and he was not supposed to be scared. It just wasn't what normal men did. They didn't go around telling the whole world that they were scared. "...An even better person? Really?" He couldn't believe it. It wasn't a good thing.

He shook his head. "Nah. She doesn't even hate you now. If anything shes upset with me and will be for a while." She was often upset with him.

Neptune took in a deep breath and let it out slowly before she nodded to his question. She had promised him Jimmy explanations, and after all these eye-opening revelations from Legend, she owed him some truths. So... yes? It was sort of about Jimmy? Everything always ended up being about Jimmy. Even this now, even uncomplicated, happy-making Legend ended up being about Jimmy. "But it's over. Like... really over." For his part, at least.

So it was about Jimmy! Legend knew, he gave Neptune a small smile. He wasn't a mind reader or anything, but he understood a little bit about this...grown up relationship stuff. "Are you sure it is? Did you even ask him? Did you tell him how you feel?" He was starting to sound like a girl but Neptune still liked Jimmy, that was obvious. But maybe he still liked her as well? Maybe he was just dating that new girl to try to get over Neptune? Legend wasn't sure but there was always a maybe.

Huh. That...made sense. It actually made a lot of sense to the Gryffindor. "Then I'm allowed to be scared if it has to do with my heart...I like that." He murmured. He was scared with anything that dealt with Katie. Scared to handle another break up, scared of not being friends, and scared that she would move on and he would just stay in the past. He wasn't going to tell Neptune this though. No. It was just too personal.

Legend didn't know what the right answer was. Would she be okay with that? "If...it makes you happy I don't want to ask you to stop but..." Stop? Legend trailed off. "I shouldn't have kissed you." He admitted. "I just made everything more complicated than it should be."

But no, she hadn't asked him. She didn't have to. And besides, "What would I ask him? He... he knows. He told me once that... he didn't want to like me anymore. I think... I think it is over now. For him, at least." She added another little nod to make herself feel more confident in that.

Clearly Neptune spoke girl. But she didn't understand the language of boys, and that could completely change the meaning to everything that Jimmy said. Even if it did sound a bit harsh to some people. "Just because he said he didn't want to like you anymore doesn't mean he doesn't like you." It made complete sense to him. "It's the same thing for me. Right now I don't want to like Katie but I do. It's simple guy language 'Tune." Simple, simple, simple.

Maybe.

Legend opened his mouth but he found that no words came out. He really couldn't think of what to say. So instead of speaking he wrapped his wrapped his arm around Neptune's shoulder and gave her a small side hug."Haven't you already tried to move on? Wasn't that why you dated Jake? Or.." He really wasn't sure. But if she tried already...and it didn't work then clearly something was wrong.

Pouty Neptune was never good. "Ohh, okay sorry. It didn't feel wrong but...you know...just wasn't supposed to happen." He shouldn't have let it happen. That sounded better didn't it? He really hoped he wasn't hurting the girls feelings because that was not something he actually wanted to do.

Neptune held back an exasperated sigh and instead focused on settling her head on Legend's shoulder. The little hug made her feel better where his words just... didn't. "Dating Jake had nothing to do with Jim." Pause..."But breaking up with him did." ...... and then the exasperated sigh escaped anyway. "I was actually trying to ... well I don't think about Jim when I'm with you. You don't ever look at me and think Jim's. Or didn't until recently."

Bleh. This was not at all going like Neptune thought. She was forever hoping and expecting and never... things NEVER worked out like she thought. Never. If it was SO wrong and shouldn't have happened, then WHY had Neptune been SO happy for it? Sure Orlando had more or less ruined the end, but the beginning...

She sighed again. Nothing to say to him on it anymore. If that was how he felt, then that was how he felt.

"Ah. Been there, done that. Good luck."
