Armor Gallery One of the corridors on the third floor is home to a large collection of armor. Be careful not to touch or the caretaker may give you detention to clean up your fingerprints (and everyone else's). |
Arya had made a game out of gracefully weaving and twirling between the armor on the third floor, when she really should be treaking up to the library to study for OWLs. Oh well. Her books could continue to sit in her bag over on the far wall while she enjoyed her probably childish game. Did she care if her game was childish and possibly un-prefect like? No, all she cared about now was making it to the other end of the gallery. Twiiirl. |

He was bald! And he was BLUE! Sure, she didn't mind that color anymore, but on a cat? No. Blue looked much better on a certain Beauxbatoner. Hehe. Breaking into a run, because really, a mutated BLUE cat was behind her, Destiny turned a corner and was grateful for what she saw. A bunch of armor that she could easily hide behind. She continued to run down the corridor, occasionally stealing glances behind her and once the cat was out of her sight, she quickly ducked behind one of the armors. Finally! She was safe! GAH! She wasn't alone! It took a moment for the person to be recognized and Destiny couldn't help but scoff. Of all people. It just had to be Raccoon Girl. What was she doing anyway? Well, whatever it was, she needed to stop and help her hide. "Pssst! Raccoon Girl! I need your help!" |
Quote:
Did the badge mean she had to help her now? Hmm. "I can't protect you from whoever is after you." Obviously, she was running from someone that she'd just done something terrible to. |
Quote:
Raccoon Girl was a PREFECT!? Was Professor Headmaster Tate CRAZY!? She ate out of trashcans for Merlin's sake! How were the students supposed to take her seriously when they caught her eating the potatoes from the night before out of the trash? A better question though..did this mean she had to be nice to her? GAH! Blinking at the badge a few times, she gave her head a quick shake once she heard the meowing of a certain blue skinned mutant. He was going to find her.. "Right then. Prefect Raccoon Girl. I need your help!" And Prefect Raccoon Girl sure did jump to conclusions, didn't she? "I don't need protection from a person. Although, a person would be more welcome than what I do need protection from." At least she could karate chop a person. She couldn't do that with a cat. "Do you see a blue cat?" |
Quote:
SIGH. That wasn't what she had meant, but she supposed she couldn't very well argue that point right now, could she? Had to play nice and he helpful and prefect-y. Sigh. "Whatever chasing you can't be worse than a person." Had she seen the students running around the castle? They were crazy. And if Borr was chasing her, then Arya was gonna run to... and trip Destiny so she wouldn't get caught. Following the sound of the meowing, her eyes narrowed as she soon saw what Destiny was hiding from. That did NOT look like a cat. "I see something blue... but I don't know if it's a... cat." It LOOKED like a freakish mutant thing that Chicken Girl dragged out of the forest. |
Quote:
Like those muggle policey people. Protect and serve! And that's what needed to be done now. She could hear the meowing getting closer and, of course, Raccoon Girl was wrong. Nothing was worse than being chased by a blue mutated cat. Except maybe her grandmother.. Pulling a face, Destiny slouched to her knees and slowly peeked her head around the armor she was hiding behind.. ..only to see Sly trotting his way down the corridor. "THAT'S HIM!" she whisper hissed, moving back into hiding. "He won't leave me alone and I don't want to be seen with him." GAH! What was she going to do!? "Come, Prefect Raccoon Girl! Stand in front of me and HIDE me!" PLEASE!! |
Quote:
Fingers running through her dark locks, she weaved through the armor towards the blue cat. Poor thing. "That's mean.... turning him blue and then not wanting to be seen with him." Chicken Girl had probably hurt it's feelings. She should be punished. Shame she couldn't give out any sort of punishment. Well.... none that wouldn't get her into trouble. |
Quote:
It was all Destiny could do from rolling her eyes. Surely the Prefect didn't really think she would turn her blue? That would be complimenting her, making her blue like a smart Ravenclaw. Although, some Ravvies weren't smart. Arya would fit into that category. "Don't be silly." Silly, not stupid. She was trying to be semi-nice here! "I wouldn't turn you blue." Because she didn't know how to. She wasn't going to say that though. Eeep! Where was she going? Destiny peeked around the armor once more only to see Arya moving towards Sly. Noo! She was going to bring him back to her! And the girl was jumping to conclusions again! You are mean to one person and they think you are mean to everyone and everything. "I didn't do it to him! And if I did, I would't pick blue." He'd look better red. Hehe. "Just..shoo him away. Use your Prefect powers!" Or something. |
"Wow," muttered Ever under her breath as she walked into a room full of coats of armor. She ran her fingers along the cold metal, feeling every notch and bump. The place was amazing, but something silver caught her eye. It was a necklace, hidden in a suit of armor. You could see an emrald trough little ridges right over wher its abdomen would be. Ever tried to weasel her hand into it to grab the necklace. Nothing. One final push and she finally gother hand through and got the necklace out, but realized the whole time she could have Accioed it out. "Is anyone missing a necklace!" hollered Ever, letting her voice roam free within the stone halls of the Dungeon level. Nobody answered, leaving Ever with the mystirious necklace for herself. Ever slipped it around her neck and hurried off toward her common room before she was caught wandering the halls at night. |

Arya gave her LOOKS. Arya felt bad for the little mutated kitty. Well, he wasn't little, but she still felt bad for him. He had Destiny for an owner! She continued towards the blue mutant, kneeling down and offering him her hand when she was close enough. "Well if you didn't do it then who did, hmm?" Who else was mean enough to turn a cat blue? "I bet you'd pick green." Hehe. Prefect Powers. Made her sound like a supper hero or something. Shame she didn't really have any power. Did she? Hmm. "I can't shoo him away. Why haven't you taken him to a professor and make him not blue?" Had that thought even crossed her mind? Probably not. Destiny wasn't the brightest student in the castle. She couldn't even read. |
Quote:
Sure, Destiny might have made Arya green before, but really, the Hufflepuff started the WHOLE thing. She was the one that decided it would be fun to play with paint bubbles. So yeah, Raccoon Girl DESERVED to be green. And if her boyfriend hadn't shown up, she'd probably STILL be green. Even after all this time. Mentally scoffing, Destiny peeked around the armor once more, mentally willing Raccoon Girl to stop walking. WHY was she going towards the cat? And more importantly, why was Sly being nice to her when she finally did stop? Mentally scoffing again as she watched Sly brush his blue, hairless body against her hand, she slid herself out from behind the armor. No point in hiding anymore."It was Evelyn, if you must know." That EX-best friend of hers. "And I liked him fine the way he was, so no. I would not have picked green." HMPH. Jumping to conclusions again. Sitting on her knees, Destiny used her arms to sliiiiiide closer to Arya and her cat. And she brought up a good question..even though she hated to admit it. GAH!! "I was going to take him, but then I would have had to explain why he is blue. And then I would have to tell who did it and then tell why she did it and then tell that I messed with her cat first." But Reindeer Poof was not nearly as bad as Blue Sly. |
Lmao. Reindeer Poof XD Quote:
It felt WEIRD petting a furless blue cat. Sure, she'd messed with a bunch of creatures and animals. But almost all of them had fur, at least the ones that were supposed to have fur did, and she couldn't think of any that were blue. She stroked the cat lightly with her fingers tips, working her way up to using her full hand. At least he was friendly, unlike his owner. "Evelyn's crazy." Just like Destiny, so it was a surprise to hear that they were... whatever they were. Obviously not on mutual terms going by the cat. Giving Destiny a 'what in Merlin's name are you doing' sidelong glance, she continued to pet the cat. "You wouldn't have to tell who did it if you went to the right professor." And knew how to phrase everything. Which she didn't. One brow raised. "What did YOU do to her cat?" Did she want to know? |
Quote:
She really hoped this one wouldn't react badly... closing her eyes for a moment, Ariana muttered "Three." Three Slytherins hugged, as many more as possible to go! |
Quote:
Destiny couldn't help the grimace that appeared on her face as she watched Raccoon Girl pet Sly. She didn't know what was more gross. The fact that Raccoon Girl was actually touching the blue, furless cat or the fact that Raccoon Girl was touching HER cat. Sly was definitely going to need a bath. Not only to try and get the blue off, but to get the girl's GERMS off of him. The cat already ate grass, she didn't need him eating out of trashcans either. Arya ate out of them enough for everyone. She was however, a tad bit surprised that they both agreed on something. Evelyn was crazy and that was half the reason they weren't friends anymore. It was more about the chocolate, but she wasn't going to mention that. Not to her other enemy, Arya. Destiny continued to sliiiiide her way closer and ignored the looks she was getting. Sliding was fun, so what. "I'm pretty sure they would want to know." She would want to know. Heck, Raccoon Girl herself wanted to know! Which she probably shouldn't have told because the girl was a Prefect after all. GAH! And of course, she probably shouldn't answer the other question, but it was too good not to share. "I stuck reindeer antlers on her, attached a sleigh to her collar and I placed a yeti doll into that sleigh and charmed it to play Christmas music whenever it passed someone." Good times. Quote:
Whaaat? Was that some stupid made up holiday? It had to be because if she knew of such a day, she would have stayed in her common room all day. Glancing at the girl as she let go of her, Destiny turned her attention back to Arya, ignoring the muttering the Ravvie was doing. Crazy girl who mutters to herself. "Did you know about this holiday?" She was a Prefect, after all. "You don't plan on hugging me, do you?" Please, Merlin, no. |
Fallon ;) In all fairness, he'd been trying to get to the Trophy Room ever since the school year started, but for some reason he never had the time to do so, and now that he did, he actually walked back and forth the third floor corridors. He was constantly changing his mind. What exactly did he plan on finding there, eh? Or, rather, what was he looking for? Treyen got tired and so he leaned against the wall, as if to rest, but instead he leaned against an armor. And it had pinched him somehow, which is why he straightened up as quickly as possible...resulting in the armor falling down. "GREAT." He sighed before forgetting that they ought not to be touched. Fingerprints and such. Once he remembered that, he smacked his right hand on his forehead. Good one, Lockhart, now he had to clean it all up. |
Quote:
She was walking down the corridor, when she heard something that sounded like a suit of armor falling. Fallon rounded the corner and spotted a boy, in front of a suit of armor that had indeed fallen down. She could have just walked away, but the helpfulness in Fallon told her to go help him out. "Need help?" She smiled at the younger boy, glad for the distraction that he had just given her. |
Quote:
Treyen heard footsteps, so he instantly looked towards the sound. A girl. A Slytherin one. Yeah, his luck was clearly improving. NOT. Oh, wait, she was offering help? Considering he was still holding part of the armor as he'd tried to put it in place when he thought that they weren't as heavy as they appeared to be, and his wand was in his pocket, then, yeah, he could use the help, "Actually, if you don't mind...," he said, nodding towards the armor. He didn't need for it to make a very loud sound when it hits the floor again, OR...break to pieces. No, he didn't need that. |
Quote:
Fallon pulled out her wand and pointed it at the suit of armor. She was good at nonverbal spells so she waved her wand and watched as the suit of armor started to reform itself. She smiled when she was done, glad that her spell work was still good. "There you go." |
Quote:
NOW it was perfect. "Thanks," he said, his smile widening, "I'm Treyen Lockhart, by the way," and he offered his hand for a handshake. There was no need to add the Prefect part, because that was visible in his robes...oh, no, wait, it wasn't, the badge was in his pocket. Oh, well, it didn't matter. |
Quote:
...and introduce himself. So this was Treyen? He didn't look so bad. Fallon wasn't going to judge. She just wouldn't tell Simon if she decided that she liked this kid. "Nice to meet you Treyen. I'm Fallon McCarthy." She wondered if the kid had even heard of her. She also thought it was weird thinking of him as a kid. He was probably only a couple of years younger than her. |
Quote:
Treyen will try to avoid the dungeons at all cost, even if he was hoping to find Sierra soon. "Fallon," he repeated, almost certain that it was the first time he was hearing the name, it reminded him of Tiberius, the oddity, or uniqueness, actually, "I haven't seen you before...are you a transfer this term?" he asked, tilting his head to one side. And regretting his question, because...what if she wasn't a transfer, eh? That was slightly awkward. Then again, this was probably the first time she was hearing his name, no? |
Quote:
Fallon shook her head no. "I've actually been coming her since first year." She was going to leave out the couple of terms she wasn't. It was something that she really didn't feel like explaining that right now. It was confusing and long and just yeah. She didn't want to talk about it. |
Quote:
And...the other was a Ravenclaw. Anyway... ..."Yeah, I'm sorry if my memory fails me," how come he knew who the She-Snakes were, but not who Fallon was, eh? "What year are you in?" he asked, though she kind of looked like a seventh year, close to graduation or something. "Where you headed somewhere?" if they were going the same way, they could walk together, no? |
Quote:
Fallon smiled. "Nope. Just wandering." It was a great way for her to clear her head. Walking around was completely relaxing to say the least. She didn't have any plans, but would quickly make some just to get Finn off of her mind. If only for a moment. |
