Legend could feel his cheeks begin to warm. Neptune was actually going to miss him? That was a first. He couldn't remember the last time someone said that they were going to miss him. Usually it was just sarcastic but...Legend really didn't blame them. "Well...we have to keep in touch then. So you won't miss me too much."

"Can you make a special song for me?" It had to be cool and sound pretty. That was what Legend wanted. A special song.

Katie? He gazed down at their intertwined hands and sighed. He should have known. Oddly enough, it didn't bother him. "My ex-girlfriend...and sort of ex-best friend...who is now my friend...what about her?"

"Only sometimes," Neptune agreed after a small pause. "I don't want to leave right now," for example. In fact, Neptune couldn't STOP smiling. Whether Legend had really learned how to say the right things, or he meant them - he was doing amazingly with the flattery. "See? I knew you knew about the royalty thing. Maybe I just needed the reminder. Suppose I'll be Queen someday..." Giggle. Right? And Legend would ascend to the throne as well?

"You'll owl me?" Neptune eyed him suspiciously. Legend Chosen did NOT seem the letter writing type. He'd just have to apparate to her London flat. Or... wherever she'd be.

"Oh." Oh. Neptune had only really made a special song for someone once. And the entire thing made her feel .... ehhh. But this was different. Legend was asking, unlike anyone else really, and wanting her to perform for him. She found her smile again. "I'll see what I can come up with," there wasn't a WHOLE lot longer left in the term, but Neptune didn't have MUCH else going on... so... a piece for Legend.

"Well... just... you tell me? If that's okay. What about her?" Legend HAD got punched in the gut for kissing Neptune .... because of this ex-girlfriend ex-best friend. It sounded so familiar, actually. Neptune stopped swinging his hands and just held them.
