She sighed. Even a littl firstie like her could tell when something had happened. No, the suit of armor looked picture perfect, but the floor was scratched the tiniest bit on the third tile from Treyen's foot. "The floor." she pointed out to him. Presley had obsessive compulsive disorder, and she knew that something was different. She also knew the caretaker would know. Maybe the older students knew enough magic to fix it? Because Pres sure didn't. "It's scratched. He'll notice." She wasn't stupid just because she was a child, and Treyen had kept her out of a spot of trouble earlier this year. She did want to help him avoid trouble if she could. Obviously the suit thing had been a mistake.

Fallon nodded. "Still...I wish I would've thought of joining. It would've been fun." She would be able to change from yearbook type pictures to artistic ones easily. Besides, she would probably end up working at some newspaper after she graduated anyways just to get by.

"Developing pictures is cool." She loved the developing process, even though it was cut short for her because she'd gone digital. She still had an old film type camera that was ancient in her trunk. She hardly used it though because she didn't want to ruin it.

Fallon nodded. "Really lucky..." And then some younger student was complaining about the armor. She was glad that Treyen had taken care of that. She might have lost it with the time she'd been having lately.

...and then the girl was talking again. "I checked it over. There are no scratches or fingerprints or dirt of any kind on them." She had even double checked and so had Treyen. She was sure the armor was spotless.

Presley sighed. She wasn't stupid, but if they couldn't see the scratch in the floor, well it was thier problem. She shrugged. "Okay." She figured it would be completely useless to argue with people who had already made up thier minds to believe one thing. So she turned and walked out of the armory. If they got in trouble, at least she'd tried to help.

Destiny decided NOT to tell Arya that, if she kept rolling her eyes, they would fall out. The girl would have to learn on her own. She just hoped she was there to witness it because it would be a good laugh. "He's been through worse things than being turned blue. He's lived this long." Surely eating grass and shoelaces was worse, right? Meh.

Sweet Merlin! Raccoons! You have to explain EVERYTHING to them for them to understand. Taking a frustrated breath, Destiny glanced down at Sly before turning back to Arya. "It wasn't for fun, for your information. It was for REVENGE!" Arya knew all too well about revenge. She was an animal and they got revenge on eachother all the time. Especially if they eat out of eachother's trashcan. "And it's not like I hurt her." The sticking charm was not painful.

She knew..from experience.

Could she get Prefect Raccoon Girl in trouble for being MEAN? Destiny would have to COMPLAIN to the Healer and tell her what a HORRIBLE Prefect she was. Yelling at her. Better yet, she'd go to Tate! Something about going to the higher authority, she didn't know. She saw that on the muggle box. "FINE! Jeez!" If she didn't have her cat in her arms, she would have threw them up in the air. "I'll take him to a Professor. But I am telling them YOU forced me to go." Paybacks for all them LOOKS she was giving her. "You eat from trashcans."

Raccoon.

Wait, what, the floor? Treyen did look at it, and noticed a couple scratches on the place the suit of armor fell. But, then again, those scratches were everywhere in the corridor, there was no way to tell which ones had been recent or not.

He was almost sure of that. The important thing was for the armors to be as neat and perfect as possible.


The boy finally shrugged, "It's alright," not like they could something about that NOW, right?

Developing, yes, she was right. And he nodded, but soon was reminded of something that was related to the same thing. Kurumi! He was supposed to develop pictures with her today, right?

How could he forget?!

"Yeah, I like it, I do prefer choosing them," he said, with a small smile. Because he got to see them all and then check with the articles to see if they fitted and all. That was the real job. Developing was fun when you taught someone how to do it. And it was some sort of magic too.


And, well, Fallon's answer seemed to be good enough for the Ravenclaw girl. He was cool with that. And seriously, no one was getting in trouble.

Plus, at least they'd managed to get everything in order. That was a plus when considering punishments, no? It's not like he meant for it to happen.

Treyen looked at Fallon, and then shook his head, "I...actually, forgot I had something to do," like helping Kurumi? Awesome. Not. "But it was very nice to meet you, Fallon," he said, nodding once, "See you around, and thanks again."

He waved goodbye before following the direction the other girl had taken. They were on the third floor, so, he wouldn't be too late to meet Kurumi, since he was already in the floor he was meant to be in the first place.

Arya's eyebrows rose. Worse than being turned blue and loosing all his fur!? She gave Mutant a pitiful look. Poor thing. "If he's been through worse than this, then your a horrible pet owner." She would try to STEAL him away from Destiny and find him a real home. One that wasn't on the streets. It obviously wasn't doing his health any good.


Oh. She understood COMPLETELY. And she was not impressed. It was just like a Chicken to go after their enemies' pets instead of facing them said enemies themselves. Arya would be keeping a closer eye on Perseus from now on, that was for certain. "It doesn't matter WHY you did it..." Why was she wasting her breath? Chicken Girl was STU-PID. She wouldn't understand. Arya wouldn't be surprised if she'd already lost the girl. Arya gave her a flat look. "And how would you know?"

How would a CHICKEN know how a kneazle felt.

Arya shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms. "Fine. Tell them that I'm doing my JOB." Cause that's what her job was right? To watch after Hufflepuffs and creatures? So... she added the creatures bit, but she was certain that the professor would agree with her. "I don't EAT from trashcans." Pffft! "You can't even spell trashcan."

Whaaat!?

Destiny scoffed. What did Arya know? Nothing because if she did, she would know that she took GREAT care of all her pets. It wasn't her fault that she just had very strange pets who did very strange things. Like Sly who ate shoelaces. "I can't stop him from eating shoelaces!" She tried. She tried everything. He just didn't learn.

Right. So maybe she shouldn't have put antlers on Poof. But she couldn't possibly but antlers on Evelyn. No one would be able to sit behind her in classes because they wouldn't be able to see the Professor. Actually..that was a good idea. She could put antlers on Evelyn and then when she went to class, she could get into trouble for being a distraction. Destiny secretly thanked Raccoon Girl for giving her that idea. "Because..I only used a sticking charm on her. That doesn't even hurt, I know it doesn't."

And she would explain no further!

HMPH. If she didn't have Sly in her hands, she would have mimicked Arya's crossed arms. Instead, she simply held Sly closer to her. HMPH! "I'll also tell them that you threatened me." Threatened her with telling a Professor on her, but she wasn't going to say that. A threat is a threat in her opinion. "Yes you do, I saw you." Scoff! "I can too spell it."

She just needed a quill and a piece of parchment first.

Arya didn't believe she couldn't stop him from eating shoelaces for one bit. She just didn't know HOW. Dumb girl. She would have to talk to Tate about her, and have him take away her poor pets. Giving the girl a disapproving look, she shook her head and tsked. "Shame on the person who gave him to you." SHAME SHAME SHAME.

"You speak cat now too?" Cat AND chicken? She didn't believe it, else she'd be able to stop Sly from eating shoelaces. "You don't know anything. If you did, this would have never happened." She waved to Sly. Yup, all her fault. If Arya knew she'd just given Chicken Girl an idea, she would have cursed herself, and then reported the girl to Tate. Straight to the top she would go!

The Puff prefect narrowed her eyes at Chicken Girl. "Even if I did threaten you, they wouldn't believe you... you tell too many lies." Or at least she seemed like someone that would tell too many lies. She was the girl who cried chicken. It was Arya's turn to scoff. Scoff! "You've NEVER seen me eating garbage." Pffft! "I bet you can't even spell garbage."

She so couldn't.

As much as Destiny liked having all the shame put onto her Grandmother, it wasn't really her fault. The old woman only gave her the galleons to go buy Sly, but she wasn't the one who picked him out. She would have kept him for herself, seeing how cute he was in his cage, banging his head against the glass.

But she was not going to tell that to Arya. She already knew too much.

"It doesn't take speaking cat to know it didn't hurt." Although, Destiny had to admit, the mere thought of speaking cat was pretty darn awesome. Maybe she would take a trek to the library. Find a language book. "Well, I do know something. It is that, you are jealous." YEAH! "Jealous that I have an awesome blue cat." Sure, he was hairless, but that just added to his awesomeness!

Destiny narrowed her eyes right back. She couldn't ever remember lying to a Professor, except maybe Lawson, but he didn't count. He was gone. "We'll just have to see about that." Giving a firm nod of her head, she made Sly give the Prefect a little wave with his paw. She was leaving! In a minute.. "I have pictures to PROVE I saw you eating it." Okay, that was a lie. "Now, unless you really want me to spell them words, I have a cat to get fixed."

Of course, she didn't move yet. She wanted to know if Arya really did want her to spell them words.

That was true. Arya was always able to tell what was wrong with her creatures even though she didn't speak their language. It was just easy for her, but she wouldn't be telling that to Chicken Girl. Couldn't let her know they'd AGREED on something. "Like you would know." Yeah. That was all she was gonna say about speaking kneazle. WHHHHAAAAT?! Arya scoffed. "Me jealous of YOU? Not possible. Though I do pity the poor thing for landing you as an owner." And she gave him more looks too. Looks of pure pity.

And SEE THEY WOULD. Arya waved back at the kitty after turning her glaring eyes away from Destiny, and softening them. He was practically begging her to steal her back with his eyes, but what could she do?! Her prefect powers didn't allow her to remove familiars from their cruel owners. Though she'd talk to take about making it possible...

"You have no such thing!" Cause she DIDN'T eat out of the garbage. Period. She waved her hand, dismissing Chicken Girl. "Go. It will take too long for you to spell the word." And they didn't have all day.

At least she didn't.

Ehhhh.

If Destiny knew she and Arya agreed on something, she would have ran straight to the nearest bathroom, male or female, she didn't care, to wash her mouth out with SOAP. She would have also made a mental note to never say those words in front of the Hufflepuff again! Lucky she didn't know because soap tasted DISGUSTING.

Giving the girl a very obvious and over-dramatic eye roll, Destiny nodded her head. Raccoon Girl was so jealous, she could tell. If she wasn't, she wouldn't have became all defensive over it. And she was not going to bother replying back to her pity comment. She did, however, cover the cat's eyes as he received looks.

Arya was just trying to possess him with her Raccoon powers.

Hehe. Destiny really wished she did have pictures now. They could have been sold them to the Daily Prophet!

She could see the headline now: Hufflepuff Prefect. Eats out of trashcans.

Giggling at the thought, she allowed Sly to wave goodbye one last time before skipping her way down the hall. "Goodbye, Raccoon Girl!"

..she needed to find a dictionary.

Arya didn't know WHY Destiny was giggling... nothing she'd said was funny. Not that she thought so at least. "It's PREFECT." She yelled after the Chicken, knowing that she probably wasn't listening. Siiiigh. That girl was hopeless. She turned and skipped down the corridor, making a mental note to check with the other professors to see if the mutant cat got fixed.

Plopping down at the feet of one of the many suits Armor, Legend sighed. Hesitantly he looked around the floor before pulling out Neptune's wand and twirling it around in his fingers. Would Neptune attack him once he gave her, her wand back? He hadn't even realized he had taken it. So as soon as he did notice he owled her, so they could meet up. So he would be safe right? She wouldn't attack him.

Shrugging the thought off Legend pointed the wand to the helmet of one of the suits. "Wingardium Leviosa." The helmet rose an inch before it began to shake violently and plunged into the ground, with a shattering nose. Huh... he guessed different wands did act differently.

"No it's not! Wait--Legend's head whipped around so fast as he heard the voice that he was certain he had just given himself whiplash. "Ah!" Gripping the back of his neck, the Gryffindor stood up. That actually did hurt.

"Sorry." He murmured as he held the wand out of Neptune to take. It was a nice wand, but it would never work for him anyways. And besides that, his was already in perfect condition so he didn't need another one.

Legend believed without a doubt, that more people should think like Neptune. Maybe it was the Ravenclawness but obviously she was extremely smart to see something that Legend thought was obvious, but most people didn't. "Hmm....no. Not really. Maybe some Professors because...you know Professor V does all that Quidditch work but I could put up a good fight with Descoteaux. And win." He smirked. It was actually something he believed. Descoteaux looked strong but he was all pretty boyish. He couldn't fight right? And there was no way any seventh year that could beat him. Neptune agreed!

Neptune Bott was close to him again. She liked being close again apparently. Legend had found it odd before but now he was used to it. Sort of. "Yeahh..." His eyes traveled anywhere but at the girl. "It's memorable. One to never forget." Thanks to Orlando.

She was stalling. Neptune wanted to ask about the things Orlando had told her, but... everything with Legend was so easy, so uncomplicated, and had been, she thought, shaping up nicely. Bringing it up might ruin that? But didn't she have to know...? Eeehhhhh

Neptune reached out for his hands and turned them both palm up, then she laid her fingers over his and used his digits as piano keys. "I was wondering... since you're here and all... if we could talk? I promised you some information, and now I have a few questions of my own..." If he didn't mind. Neptune lightly ran her fingers over his, playing a tune only she could hear.

"We yeah, that's what I meant." It was still hard to think that soon they'd be leaving Hogwarts for good. He would never see any of his friends or classmates again, it was really just depressing. "Do you want to leave?" He really wanted to know what other seventh years thought about the whole thing. We're they ready for life out of Hogwarts or were they just as confused as him? Neptune was rich, so did she just not care?

"But I'm not like other people. I'm me. Which means I'm special. Which means I should be able to hear a piece played by you, Miss Neptune Bott." His logic made sense to him. It always did.

Legend had long since realized that he had become Neptune's doll like person. He really let her do whatever she wanted to without protesting. Probably because he had realized her giggling was better than her crying. So as she began to run her fingers over his in a tapping like motion he didn't mind. "Talk...yeah..sure?" Was she going to speak to him about Jimmy or something else?
