He murmured. He had once said that the L-word was a lot, but now it didn't seem that big to him. It was a fact. "My dad says if you love someone you should tell them, cause you'll never know when they'll leave. He said he learned that a while ago. Maybe when my mom died." Legend shrugged. Or maybe before that. His dad was old and loved Artie's mom before so maybe it was from then? He didn't know.

"Why would you feel bad?" His voice was hollow. Yeah. You SHOULD feel bad Neptune. But Legend wasn't going to say that because that would actually make her feel bad, and he really didn't want that.
