Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Gobbledygook!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Alice gave Rubiey a "thanks" smile as Rubiey rubbed her arm. "Perhaps it will be worth a visit. Right then his stomach grumbled...loud. Dumb stomach. "What's you're favorite food?" he asked and then cursed himself. Of course he would ask that question when he was hungry.

Mela was sitting on the ground by the fire place reading the letter her parents had sent her. Tears were runing down her face and blotching parts of the letter. She knew people were probably looking at her, which added to her tears, but she didn't care because she was hurt. Carmela had mesmorized every word for they had been burned into her brain.
Carmela had received this note along with one from her father and a Howler sent by her brother. (Her father's letter had been nicer than the other two saying that he was upset that she hadn't told them but that he still loved her too.) She had recieved all 3 letters at breakfast which was really embarrassing because the Howler had started yelling at her. Mela had ran out of the Great Hall and skipped all her classes.
She had also gotten a letter from Ms. Helen. Her letter had been nice, sweet and simple. She had wished Mela a good year and congrats on being a Gryffie. Carmela felt Ms.Helen's letter in the pocket of her robes and a half smile tugged on her face. | |

She never found it hard, but now that she had magic, it seemed impossible. Life was so easy back then.
"Yea," she answered. "I am glad he did." she said. Her dad was her idol. "You see in typical Italian familes, family is the most important thing ever." she said, explaining Italian tradition to him.
Sophia blushed, just a little bit, when she saw gime staring into her eyes. She smiled a little bit back at him and buried her head in her knees, waiting for the blush to go away.
"Hmm, my favorite food..." she said, pulling her head up from her knees. Her hair was a mess in her face. She just pulled it up into a messy pony, and she let it be. "It has to be Linguine in white clam sauce or Kalamari Friti." she said. "Translated as Clam Spagetti and Fried Squid." she said, smiling
