Carmela had received this note along with one from her father and a Howler sent by her brother. (Her father's letter had been nicer than the other two saying that he was upset that she hadn't told them but that he still loved her too.) She had recieved all 3 letters at breakfast which was really embarrassing because the Howler had started yelling at her. Mela had ran out of the Great Hall and skipped all her classes.

She had also gotten a letter from Ms. Helen. Her letter had been nice, sweet and simple. She had wished Mela a good year and congrats on being a Gryffie. Carmela felt Ms.Helen's letter in the pocket of her robes and a half smile tugged on her face.

Adam saw a girl crying and thought it best to console her. "Hey are you alright, I saw you crying...Need a hand?"Adm said quietly as to not startle her. She seemed extremely sad for some weird reason....
