Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Gobbledygook!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Edmond couldn't help but smile at her laugh, it was so innocent. "Don't worry, I won't let you fall." he grinned sheepishly, "I'll catch you." he said, flexing his 'muscles'. "Yup no magic!" she said, grinning. "I used to play all the time, and I was really good." she said. "My mum made me live like a muggle until I got my letter." she said, sighing. "It was tragic." she said, smiling.
"You are welcome." she said, quickly. She took a sip of hers an glanced around the common room.
Sophia laughed again. "Well, I am glad to know that I won't plummit to my death." she said, smiling. "What are you most worried about this year?" she asked.

Perhaps I can come and visit you one day?" Alice smiled at the thought. "I'm sure he'll come back. I think owls can sense us you know? I mean I just got Snowflake but I already feel like she had a pretty keen sense of how I am feeling." Alice smiled. She looked down and noticed her palms were getting clammy. Darn. Looks like Hogwarts wasn't going to be able to keep off this hallucinations.

"The Dragons are pretty freaky." she said, agreeing with him. "Hmm, I am worried about losing Gryffindor lots of points." she said. "I want us to win the house cup." she said.
"What is your worst fear?" she asked. It was fun to find out about other people. "Mine are needles and tight spaces." she said. "I can be a manic claustrophobic sometimes." she said, quietly.

Rubiey nodded seriously. "It's a crazy place, honestly. But it's a beautiful city." She grinned. Oh yeaaaaaah.
Rubiey nodded again. She felt like her neck was about to snap with all the nodding she was doing. "Definately NOT magical. My mum sent me there when I was seven, so her new boyfriend wouldn't know I was a witch. Nasty place. Full of snobby kids." She scrunched her nose up, like they were a bad smell, then shook her head. "It was a good education though. They got us reading Shakespeare at the age of 9." She shuddered playfully, then smiled at him to show she was joking. She loved Shakespeare really. "Well, Jason owled me and he told me he would love to have you at his castle for Christmas" Rex told Rubiey. " Harry and the rest wll be there" Rex smiled.

That's why he was looking forward to Muggle Studies...hmm maybe Sophia would help him with his homework...hmm, Ed would ask her later. "I guess we have the same dilemma with our dads, eh?" he said, and noticed her weak smile. "But you know? Maybe we were placed in this house for a reason," Edmond smiled, trying to get her mood up, "And I quite like it." he wiggled his eyebrows, trying to make her smile.
Edmond chuckled, "You're too nice to lose Gryffindor points. I bet you'll earn us a lot." he encouraged her with a smile.
He hadn't thought of his biggest fears, but if he had to answer, it was to be alone. "I guess my fear is being alone...you know like having no one to count on." he explained, "As long as I have my family and friends I'm okay." he smiled, his eyes gleaming.

I expect he'll be back any time soon." Rubiey faked bravery. She noticed Alice looking nervous as she looked at her hands. She lowered her voice. "Alice? Are... are you okay?" "The, uh, the doctors aren't really sure what causes them or how to make them stop, but I...uh...I have a feeling I might be getting one soon. It's just a feeling I'll get before them, you know?" Alice struggled to look nonchalant. She was sure it wasn't working. "I..uh...asked Professor Reynolds if he thinks they might mean anything, but um, he hasn't had a chance to get back to me yet."

Rubiey's eyes widened as Alice told her everything. Wow. That must be scaaaary. She rubbed Alice's arm. "Maybe.. maybe you should go see the nurse, if it feels like its happening again. She might be able to help you. Magical remedies are supposed to be better than muggle ones. I'll come with you, if you'd like." Rubiey suggested softly. Alice had been there for Rubiey's meltdown, now Rubiey was here for Alices problem.
