"That would be so amazing, thank you!" That was so nice of him! Some help would be great. Change was always good, but not knowing anyone and not knowing your way around was intimidating... "I would love a tour of the castle whenever you had a chance actually...If that's not too much to ask." Kate smiled, blushing a bit at this big request. She didn't want to ask too much, but Warren seemed to nice, and almost all of the other students she had met so far were first years or transfers.

"Always right. That's a real laugh Parker," she said with a tone of sarcasm and gave a fake laugh. He was not always right. The truth was that he actually had a brain. "Why did I get sorted here? That's easy, because I hit you with a book, I hit you with my hands, and we argue like it's the only thing sensible," she pointed out. "But in my opinion I got here because I have a brain I know how to use against people." That was it. She could blackmail her brothers often.

Oh, great. He had spotted her. Of course he had. Guh! The day had just become even more horrible. Inwardly Nancy winced every time Sarah said his name out loud. If she was doing it on purpose or not Nancy would never know. He apparently didn't care enough for her that he had written her a letter so why should she care? Pfft.

Nancy tuned in again on what the Hufflepuff girl was babbling on about at the mention of her choosing to go to Hogwarts. Wait...did that mean they had gotten to choose? And he had decided against going back to Hogwarts? Right now the one thing she really wanted to do was leave the Great Hall and hide somewhere where she could be alone. Just her and well, herself. "What do you mean?!" Nancy more snapped than said in reply to Sarah's question.

The professor had just glared at him! HIM! The one people called Mr.Sweet, why would anyone glare at him? Had he done something wrong? Perhaps he had greeted wrong but in Lavi's eyes it was a good greeting.

He watched as the meany glaring man walked further without even greeting back and he rolled his eyes when the professor's back was turned on him. "Yea well nice to meet you too" he muttered sarcastically under his breath and watched him walk away.

There was something about him, perhaps his auror that he didn't like. When he was a safe distance away he sighed in relief and stared at the food on the table. It looked so good, even better than at his old school. Without wasting any other moment, Lavi grabbed some potatoes and vegetables near by. He placed them on his plate and happily ate his food with knife and fork. He had been right, it was goood!

She watches out for our safety, possibly more than her own, during the full moons." Nice and cheerful news to learn on your first day at Hogwarts. That's always fun.

Whoa. He would have still thought her to be lying, but how can she make up so much so quickly? She was either very creative, or not lying. Considering what he had read about Hogwarts while he was at home, he finally decided to believe her. He wore a raised eyebrow throughout her talking and was about to comment when -

He barely heard Iris' comment. He was AMAZED that the food just APPEARED but he was too hungry to spend too much time fussing over it. Before she finished talking he was DESTROYING every piece of food.

Smiling back at Katie, this made Warren feel much better inside.. though he was still maturing, he was proud he wasn't the immature short tempered kid anymore.. though his competitiveness stayed with him, but that wasn't sooo bad. That was something Kiri hadn't expected at all. A blank look was supposed to express - possibly challenging - disinterest, not a desire to be invited to a professor's office.
The man hadn't sounded angry at all, though, he had sounded... intrigued. "Um... I will, Professor," Kiri said, not sure if the man really was a professor. But he did not reply, he merely moved on to the next student.

Piercing some more food with her fork, Kiri watched him with interest as he glided down the length of the Slytherin table. He did not say something every time, but he stopped and looked at every single student.
She wondered what subject he was going to teach. He looked like someone who'd be at home around dark creatures and dangerous curses, or bubbling potions perhaps.

Potions... There was another reason why Kiri's mind made that connection. Something about the man's behaviour reminded her of Professor Kazimeriz - the careful movements, the quiet but clearly audible voice... And, of course, if nothing else, the fact that he was creeping Kiri out ever so slightly.

When the professor made his way back on the other side of the table Marie had a couple of questions for him. "Excuse me Professor, since you seem to be inspecting us, I believe it is only fair that you tell us your name and what it is that you will be teaching this term." 'Please don't say potions, please don't say potions' she thought as she could feel all happiness about not seeing Kazi disappear.

Evelyn stopped torturing the roll for a moment, hearing a voice in front of her. Whaa? Looking up, she saw the Professor moving on down the table, though, he was smiling? "Of course not...sir." she mumbled, nodding towards him with a small forced smile before dropping the roll on the plate and taking a deep breathe. Letting it out slowly and rubbing her face, she looked up again to see if Rex was still there...but something else caught her eye, and ears for that matter.

Holding back a snicker, since it would be highly rude to laugh at a Professor, except Lawson and whoever else she didn't like, she stared wide eyed, just...staring. Was the girl insane?! "That might be, a little too bold." she muttered at the girl before turning back to looking at Rex...

She was always late to classes in her first week of school, having been in a new school each year. Thankfully, her parents were staying put for the next few years, so maybe by the time she graduates, she'll be getting the hang of the layout here. Good to see him smiling again...he had a really nice smile... "Maybe some evening this week?"

Immediately after Cedric mentioned Prefect, she glanced down at the badge on her robes. "Thanks," she replied with a smile.

Reese slowly turned her attention right back to the staff table to see that strange Professor walking towards them. What was he doing? She kept her eyes on him just for 3 seconds, then she turned to look at all the food in front of her. Mmm. She grabbed a muffin from the table and placed it on her silver plate. This was definitely one of the things she missed about Hogwarts over the summer. Their food was great!

She began to grab some more food to put on her plate using her fork, but she stopped when she noticed the strange Professor had began to start walking down the side of the bench she was sitting on. Oh, yay. She placed the last bit of food she had in her hand on her plate and turned around in the bench to face the man. "Good evening, sir," she greeted him with a smile.

Zoe leant forward and whispered in the girls ear "Sometimes you have to slap them in the face just to get their attention!" she explained "This guy has an attitude problem and I want to find out why"
"I'm Zoe by the way, nice to meet you" upon ending the sentence Zoe resumed her standing position, eagerly waiting for a response from the professor.

It would be so much easier since we've been already calling her that for a year. I could just say I feel more comfortable if I call her that or something...That's a good excuse right? Would you believe it?" She'd seen the Professor angry before. Over a tiny thing too, and Evelyn did not want that Professor to be angry with her. Unless she had running shoes on that is.

Laughing, she looked back up to Rex, already deciding that he was just messing with them with mind games. She had nothing to say to Destiny, and Destiny probably had nothing to say to her. They didn't keep secrets from one another. Unless it had to do with Josh or the dark voice thing in her mind... Or anything else about her past. Huuuuh...okay maybe a few secrets. Pfft. Nothing drastic of course. Destiny had a secret? Unless she was just saying that to get Rex back over here...was she thinking what Evelyn was thinking at the moment?

Her laughing and smiling faded though as the one creepy Professor started walking down their table and...staring at them. Gah he was like a Dementor, sucking all the happiness and fun out of everything with his presence. She hear everyone else saying greetings and such, though it seemed she couldn't open her mouth to do that. Instead she just took and drink of her water and picked at the roll on her plate...Eh. Whatever class he taught would surely be an interesting one...

Destiny let out a ginormous laugh. Yes, she felt bad for Iliana too. Having to look at him at work and then at home too. What was she thinking? Maybe he tricked her into marrying him, that would be the only logical answer. Or maybe she really did love him..Ewww, gross. She took another peek at the Huffie table, he was still there, 'You don't think they feed each other too do you?' Is that how people showed affection? If it was, Destiny didn't want it, she would be sick.

Destiny nodded. She would probably call her Professor Morgan also. 'She can't just change her name on us! It's confusing.' That is totally believable. Did she just expect them to get used to her new ~~stupid~~ name so fast. 'I'm gonna call Lawson Professor Morgan too. Just for fun.' Like she needed a reason to tease that man.

How could she not spot that scary looking man walking by? Why couldn't he stalk the Huffies..they are evil, and far more entertaining. Not really, but Destiny just wished he would leave, he was making her hands all clammy..

Lucia tilted her head forward in to her hand and then lifted her head as quick as she could hoping he did not see her. She tucked her locket into her robes, sat up proper, put plating in there proper place. All her grandmother's teachings started to go through her head.
One was always tuck in your locket so it does not fall into your food. This is the third time she forgot that. She sat then for a few minutes and thought, she is going to have to let her grandparents know about this. She is not looking forward to that.

Elisabeta felt a bit nervous when one of the professors was walking around there table and she didnt know why she felt nervous

He barely heard Iris' comment. He was AMAZED that the food just APPEARED but he was too hungry to spend too much time fussing over it. Before she finished talking he was DESTROYING every piece of food.

YUMMMM.

Jimbo turned around when Iris spoke to someone behind him and JUMPED when said person was so close...and scary looking. When he had given her a quick, rude reply Jimbo didn't know whether to laugh or be scared.

He turned back to Iris. "That was weird."

Iris grinned at Jimbo's reaction to the food. "I take it you're impressed by the food?" She asked him as she took MORE pizza.

She nodded in agreement. "Yeah ... it was a bit. I don't know WHAT crawled up his rear end and died. It was something bad though." And with that cheerful comment, she took a rather unladylike chomp out of her pizza.

Severia had hardly noticed the boy sitting near her. He wasn't much older than she was. And she couldn't pass up the opprotunity to make a new friend! "Hello" she said to him with a smile. "My name is Severia Gaunt. I'm a first year, but you probably already knew that. I believe I missed your name earlier. What was it again?"

Duskurk paused and just glared at the boy who didn't know how to speak before moving on.

"I am not enjoying my time here thus far. Perhaps once classes begin..." he stared wistfully off into the distance of the enchanted ceiling before moving on.

Not much of a reaction from this one. Not even respectful silence. "You cannot pretend not to see me forever," he whispered across the table to her before moving on. He smiled slightly. He loved making creepy cryptic remarks.

"You will need to learn to be less clumsy," he commented, thoroughly disgusted especially because of the glitter of dark mark he'd caught. "See me in my office tomorrow."

With that, he finished one side of the table and then started his stalker thing on the other side.

The first teacher Severia had come in contact with! He was mysterious and a touch mean. She loved it! She kept from staring out of respect, but couldn't stop a small smile from creeping onto her face. She was going to love his class! "Good evening, Professor." She said as he drew nearer.

Most of his family were all sporting mad.. it wasn't suprised Warren and Geoff took it futher! ''How about you? interested in anything specific?'' he asked.

Waz chuckled. ''You know your stuff then?'' Warren wasn't as bright.. unless it was sport! Or anything else that interested him. ''Naa but im going to try out this term.. i only play outside school'' He would love to play for Slytherin this year.. he missed out on it last year.. he chose his girlfriend Lucille instead of making the team.
