"Hi," she said, as if she wasn't bothered by not being the center of attention, as she had been for her whole entire life. "I'm Sapphyre Black, but you can call me Phyre!" The girl next to her turned and began to speak to her, and Emily raised her head with interest. The first thing she had said was her name and Emily was shocked. Still amazed she said "Oh hey! thats weird....oh sorry I'm Emily...Emily Black..." Casting around for something else to say, she settled on the now familiar topic of that cousin of hers. " Um... do you know if your related to Sirius Black? Coz if you are..." 'we're related' she added in her head. 'I wonder if she's a pureblood or a muggleborn like me...maybe i'll ask her...no i'll wait and see if we become friends first.' some people were a it picky about lood for some reason...that decided she turned to the girl and waited for her to speak.

Right, the boy was cute. Annie noticed it at a small glance she gave him. But he like, didn't look so pleased around the place.
"I was talking about the grounds, the lake...the whole Hogwarts itself. It's quite wonderful." Let's give it a cheer.
"And you are? Mr. Wonderful..?" Annie teased a bit. Sebastian had been hoping that the girl would go. Sure, he enjoyed having his ego fed by those girls - not that it needed any more feeding, though -, but that didn't exactly mean he liked having them around. But this one did not go. She didn't go, and claimed not to be talking about them ...
... but about the grounds? Snort.
Turning around slightly to be able to look at the girl, Sebastian cocked one fair eyebrow upwards. "Yes, it's all wonderful. Until you understand this is all full of germs, until you realise the teachers know less about all of this than you, and that all the students are absolutely unbearable." Pretty much, this was everything Sebastian thought of Hogwarts.
And that about him being Mr. Wonderful?
Well, at least this student seemed start. |

Wow. His parents would never let him stay at a friend's house. He thought. How was his summer... QWC. The end. "I went to Quidditch Cup." Nodnod. It was worth the money, but he would have had more fun in a FIFA World Cup. Anywho. He smiled to back up to Marie's comments about the school. It ruled. Hehe. "Oh wow, you went to the Quidditch World Cup. I bet you had a great time. My parents weren't able to get us tickets so I couldn't go."
Hearing the sadness in Evan's voice when he said he was a third year Marie told him, "Hey, third year can't be that bad, besides I bet we will still have some classes together just like last year." Then again, maybe that wasn't what he wanted. Quote:

Well, at least this student seemed start. Did he just snort at her comment about the grounds being absolutely beautiful and...Okay, she needed to rephrase something or do something. That boy had some weird and funny way to make Hogwarts an unbearable place to be at. And that, Annie was not going to let him do that.
"Umm, you underestimate this place, Mr. Wonderful or whatever your name is..." Surely not a way to introduce each other, but whatever...let's take this to whatever level of weirness is let. "We came here to learn, from whatever source we have, it doesn't have to be professors all the time, you know..." She referred to books, then practice.
"And germs are part of your everyday life, just relax..." She dealt with them everyday playing soccer.

First, he had walked down the train's corridor with his arm offered to that weird, Prefect girl who acted as though they had been friends since forever. Now he was talking to some random girl. Some unknown girl.
Yes, he was hoping that if he talked to enough people before Christmas, his parents would let them join Woodson at Eton College and end his punishment. "I never underestimate things. Last year has given me experience enough to know what it is I'm talking about." Sebastian stated firmly, as he always did. He was always sure of what he said. "The library?" She was talking about the library, was he not? "I know for a fact that the library is highly unsatisfactory." Woodson has said so.
Woodson. He needed to write to his twin brother.
That comment about the germs didn't even deserve a reply. Diseases were also a part of your everyday life, but it didn't mean you had to like them. |

Actually, that was a lie. Sebastian Whitcomb didn't care about anyone else. "It is not my fault, you know? You would realise it sooner or later." Anna stood up, looking back at Sebastian. "Nice to meet you, Sebastian..." She said, with quite a wide grin and cheered up a bit. After all, Sebastian was not going to doom her days around Hogwarts, not her years in there.
She looked around the Great Hall, towards the Staff table and all, "You see, I can't give up this place, it's been what I've dreamt of all my life, ever since I made dad's face turn purple and make him look like a blueberry," Nice memory it was, of her first magical moment. " and seriously, going for three years on homeschooling is boring enough to make this place look wonderful, even if I miss my Muggle life." She said, remembering something else, soccer.
"See you around, Mr. Wonderful..." Annie said, patting the boy's back and walking off the table, "...and do have a nice first night back at the castle" A meantful wish, really.

I understand some simpler words like cynig and scipe, but bah if I just don't have the patience to sort out all that grammar!" There were many languages Chaucer took a fancy to and then dropped on a whim. He wanted to learn French while he was reading about the Sun King and German when he heard stories about the eccentric Ludwig the second. Thalia looked at the arrogant boy next to her and really didn't care as much. She was in too much of a depressing mood to reply back in a smart way. "I wish," she muttered. "I really do Parker. But here I am. In the awful stupid house that I have to spend my next six years at Hogwarts," she said in a tone of misery. She was no longer that hyper little girl on the train. "Ughhhh....," she sighed and put her head at the edge of the table looking down at her feet, which were half hidden by her robes. Hmm, it sounded to Parker that Thalia was upset. He tried to suppress his smirk, but it just came so naturally. "I'm sure you'll do fine here." Did that just come out of his mouth? He was being nice to this girl. The girl that beat him with that muggle book! The girl who hated muggles! "I mean.." he needed to think of something else to say, "It serves you right." There he was, the real Parker. "You shouldn't have hit me with the book." Because if she wasn't so mean, she wouldn't be sitting here, with him.
Oh Merlin. He now realized what this meant. This was not going to be fun. "This means.." he couldn't believe it. The thing he did not want to happen ever since he met this girl, just happened. "I'm going to be stuck..with you! For seven years!" He will owl his parents. Maybe he could transferred to Drumstrung.

Of course it was nice to meet him, people always enjoyed meeting him. He was Sebastian Whitcomb after all. When she went all about how hogwarts was her big dream, Sebastian shrugged his shoulders once more. Whatever suited her. She just better not think she would get a quality education here. "I rather enjoyed being homeschooled." He had ... so much he wished he was at home right now. "Goodbye, Miss Anna." And just as soon as he said that, and cringing away from her pat, Sebastian turned back to the table. Why hadn't this ended already? |

Then she smiled slightly. "It does mean that doesn't it?" she said, her spirits no more raised then they were. It was going to take a lot before she felt right. Maybe she could get Kazi to throw him out a window too..
Destiny waited for Evelyn to finish her sentence, becauseee? Because why? There would be no reason for him to sit there, unless she just wanted Kay angry. But she didn't really think Kay would come over, not after what happened on the train.
Glancing up at the staff table, Destiny wished she could hear what they were saying. It looked like Bunz was about to lunge at the new red-headed woman, poor new lady. She doesn't know what she is getting herself into trying to shake her hand. 'Can you hear what they are saying?' Or at least know who they are..
Her attention was taken away from the staff table as someone very close to her started to speak..
Destiny turned slowly to the girl that talked to her. She wasn't really in the mood to talk to someone new, buuut the girl looked like a firstie, which was perfect!
She put on a smile, 'Hello, Phyre.' Cool name. 'I'm Destiny and that is Evelyn.' she pointed in Evelyn's direction. 'You a first year?' "No, I can't." she mumbled, staring up at the staff table. Not that she really wanted to hear what the staff was saying...Okay who was she kidding. She wanted to know everything they were saying! " Seriously, why do we sit so far away from the staff table? Closing feast, we are going to sit right at the edge!" And that way, curiosity wouldn't be practically killing her. "Hello." Evelyn muttered and nodded towards the girl. A firstie by the looks of it. Stretching her back, she sighed and was just about to give a more proper greeting when there was a really loud sneeze up front and some guy was standing on his chair. Wasn't he a little old to be doing that? Well, at least the Headmaster, supposedly, was making the speech.
.....
...
Aaand, that was it? Really? "That was...inspirational." Pffft. Snorting, she looked towards Destiny to see her reaction to the Headmaster's 'speech'. Oh well, at least they could eat finally right? Foooood. Now to just not look over at the Hufflepuff table...

[QUOTE=VRSCIKA;9007421]Art smiled as Severia inserted herself into the conversation. "That is exactely what my father believes to be the truth of the matter." " My mother and I always preferred the beautiful dreams though."He smiled softly. Dear one? Whoa Chauce, I'm not a girl, that is a bit creepy. I don't think thats something one dude should say to another dude.
Art watched as Chaucer stared at the ceiling."Beowulf is a good story. Did you read it in its original form? That is best by far." he noted.
Art watched intently as Chaucers face became serious. He is getting to the good part... Masses of clothing no, I didn't think Chaucer would have that. Art chuckled a little. At his add-on Art giggled,"But matches are fun, so is fire." Poor Chaucer, he actually had a 'monster' in his closet. Whoa what? A turkey!? Are you pulling my leg? He is scared of turkeys!? Wonder what he does at Thanksgiving then. Art surpressed the desire to laugh histarically. "So you actually had a turk....er 'monster' in your closet. Hmm, your mum jinxed you." he smiled. Turkey! No can't laugh he is really scared of turkeys..........Hahahahaha!!! Turkeys! No stop. "I wish that I would have had one in my closet.....for some strange reason boggarts used to run from me as a child.....they would panick at the sight of me. I never understood that. Well I am sorry that you had a bad encounter, I can see why you would have....'screamed and shamed a banshee.'Art tried to say with a straight face. "A boggart ran from you?! That's peculiar. I may be thinking too much into this, I do that quite often, but perhaps that means that your biggest fear is being deserted by others. My boggart always takes the form of myself in a wedding gown. Though, right now I'm not sure if wouldn't become an empty plate that couldn't be filled!" Severia said before she sipped pumpkin juice from her goblet.

Art gave Chaucer a quizzical stare. A fish in someones shirt?.......What in the world is he getting at?.....Chaucer you can be a strange one.... "I really have no idea why they ran from me. I tried to catch one once when I was seven , but it seemed that I frightened it too badly. I never knew bogles feared humans. My mother told me that it was because I was fearless. My father, after his shock, laughed and said it was because the boggart knew that I was crazy." Art said musing. He gave a look equivalent to scrathing his head. "I suppose that I will never know. he shrugged.

Art had been barely listening to Chaucer and Severia's conversation until he heard the most wonderful quote that Chaucer had ever made , while around him. He was quoting Alice in Wonderland! The Mad Hatter at that. Art immediately grinned like the Cheshire cat and softly called out , "Clean cup, clean cup, move down, move down!". Grinning at Chaucer he exclaimed, "Why is a Raven like a writng desk?" Chaucer had, unwittingly, gained Art's full attention. He was in love with Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. He had always wanted to be the Cheshire Cat.

That was a little wierd for me at first but it turned out to be okay. So how was your summer, do anything interesting?"
Marie took a quick peek at the staff table to see if Kazi had made it there yet. 'Yeah, he's not here, maybe he isn't coming back' she thought as she turned her attention back to Evan.
Looking at the newest arrival to their table Marie said "Hi, I'm Marie, how are you?" 'Wait, did she just say she was part veela. or did she say she wasn't?' Marie looked closely at the girl trying to figure out what she had heard. If the girl was veela then that would explain why Evan looked so nervous when she first came over to the table. "Hey Vick, I hope everything you heard about Hogwarts was good. This is a pretty awesome school to be at." Marie couldn't picture herself at any other school. She was making lots of friends here and she was even meeting family that she never knew she had. "Hi i'm Violet what's up?" said Violet

She watched as he put food in front of her. "Ugh...I suppose you may be right," Thalia mused. Wait. He wasn't right. He was never right. She just rolled her eyes. |
