But why was he worrying about his silly clumsiness right now? He was holding hands with Anna again! All was right in the world. Nothing could mess them up now. Except...Cale had things he wanted to get off his chest. They had problems, it was evident, and he wanted to work them out right now and not risk another blow up. "So, I think we have some things to talk about," he said with a small smile. |

"Yeah...," Anna whispered. "We do. Let's head over to the couch by the windowsill, though. I don't think we need to sit in the main area and draw crowds with such a personal conversation. We have toomuch to discuss..." |
Cale nodded and led her to the opposite end of the room, near the window and sat down on the windowsill. BRR! It was freezing, and he knew in a few minutes he'd be complaining of a frozen bum. "Well, I think we should start with the whole Paul Kutcher argument...I mean, that was a really stupid argument," he said with a little chuckle. |

When Cale mentioned Paul Kutcher, Anna blushed a bit and looked down. The argument really was silly, but it was mainly fueled by the many, many arguments they'd gotten into at Diagon Alley. "Yeah...it was. You know what, though? I don't think it was so much over Paul Kutcher as it was over all those arguments we seemed to get into at Diagon Alley. I mean, what was the deal with that? We couldn't get along to save our lives, and when we did argue, we never really talked about why that argument happened and what we could have done to prevent it, you know," Anna explained. "Oh, and, by the way, your house guest is dating my Aunt..." |
Quote:
"Yeah, I agree," he told her with a nodd. "I mean, I think the whole Paul Kutcher incident was just a classic case of two of our personality traits coming out full force. Neither of us can really stand being wrong and we're incredibly stubborn. We need to find a way to tone that down a lot so that when we get into an argument, one of us is willing to just step aside and let it drop," he suggested, basically copying the little speech his mum always gave him when he fought with Theresa. |

"We do have pretty strong personalities, don't we?" Anna agreed, shaking her head while thinking back to all the many times they'd clashed while trying to one-up one another. "We'll just have to start thinking of one another as a team and not an opponent, you know. We're pretty amazing when we're together, you know. We're like this...Dymanic Duo," she said, using air quotes on the last two words. "I don't mind being the one to step aside and let it go. It's not worth it to do otherwise." |

He looked down at his feet and sighed. "Now, erm, I guess we should talk about the jealously thing too..." |
Quote:
"Oh, yeah...jealousy," Anna said, looking down at her feet. "So here's the thing, Cale. You mean the world to me. You mean than the world to me. When something's that important to you, you develop this weird fear of losing it...like I did at the beginning of the school year. It's something that I really couldn't help. I'll tell you what, though. I'll work on it. I'll get better with it, too," she promised. |
Jeff drops into a nearby chair. It's been rough week. |
Demetria walked in and sat down in a chair by the fire. She looked around only to see a few people. There was a boy sitting in the chair next to her. "Hello." she said to him. |

"Nico, however, has been around constantly. He and Kayla broke up, you know. Those pictures...you remember those, right? That's what happened with them. Anyway, Nico knows I only...well, I only have eyes for you. I've reminded him every time I've seen him. He's too hung on Kayla anyway," Anna said. Suddenly, Anna gasped and looked up at Cale in horror. "Oh my gosh...Cale! I've been so excited about you and I, and I've been concentrating so much on this conversation, that I totally forgot to tell Nico I wouldn't be going on the little date with him! He's probably out there waiting for me now!" Anna exclaimed, standing up and looking towards the portrait hole. "Cale, I've got to go out there and meet him and explain to him what's happened. I can't just leave him hanging. I'll be right back in about half an hour, okay?" she asked, hugging him and then looking towards the portrait hole again. |

Usagi smirked as she watched the two lovebirds - ahem - Prefects walked in (to be exactly, Cale stumbled in) through the portrait hole. Now her wish came true: Canna is restored. How can she be happier for her friends? She was so tempted to whisper some congratulating words to them, but as they came over to a corner, she sat down again. The couple needs privacy. Usagi smiled and returned to the parchment she was scribbling on. Remembering herself of Serenity, she pulled a picture of them sitting together from her backpack. Below it was written some text: "Usagi Ginno - Serenity Anrington, Friends and cousins forever." |
Chalice walked into the common room and sat down in an empty chair near the fire. She tok our a letter she had gotten from her friend Megan. Megan was a squib and didn't go to Hogwarts with Chalice but she sent her a care package. |
Wondering if dinner was still being served, Travis got out of his seat and walked towards the portrait hole. As he was walking, he felt the most curious sensation in his legs and he staggered, a slim hand reaching out to an armchair to catch his fall. Confused and a little disoriented, Travis looked around the common room, hoping no one had seen what had just happened. What was that? He looked down at himself, double checking his glamour. His legs felt weak and he didn't dare take another step for fear of planting his face on the ground. He sat in the armchair and sighed, thinking the weakness in his legs was the result of sitting indian style for too long. |
"Are you okay?" Chalice said in a wisper, she could see the boy didn't want anyone to have seen him stumble. |
Jack walked in the common room and plopped on the sofa.He looked around but there was no one there. |
Via decided she'll just stay at the common room for a while because she had been spending so much time outside. She chose her favourite couch near the fireplace again and sat comfortably. She noticed someone sitting alone in there and she just barged in as if she owned the place. "Hello!" The boy seems older. |

"Weird the common room's deserted although i guess this happens a lot," Via said. Realising she hadn't introduced herself, "I'm Vivianne Nat! Call me Via." |

"It's nice to meet you too, JAck." Via gazed over at the fireplace. She wondered why the common room's deserted. She glanced back at JAck, "I'm a second year. And you're a fifth one, if i'm not mistaken?" |

"I don't usually meet older gryffindors," Via added. And she turned to talk to herself, "i hang out more with the first years." She didn't want to look like a fool infront of a fifth year student so she stopped talking to herself. |
