"Oh that's too bad. It was a great meeting. I fought a dummie, but it hit me with a stunning spell. It wasn't nice, I've still got some headache. But I think I did quite well anyway. There was a seventh year girl who also failed, so it was rather hard..." She looked at the still unknow girl, friendly saying "How about you? Were you there?" |
"A dummy? What in Merlin's beard is a dummy?" Kairi asked curiously. "Are you a dummy?" she asked Lizzie, jokingly. |
Lizzie laughed. "Well as a matter of fact, I don't know why they called them that. But it's these things that shot stunning spells at us when activated by Antwone or professor Dumont. They were kinda scary.." she said, thinking about the uncontroled minute she'd spent unconscious. The professor, who was supposed to revive students, had left just before she was stunned, and at first no one had remembered to revive her. She'd been told that by another student in the room, since she herself hadn't noticed, being unconscious and all.. :) |
Kairi looked at Lizzy, "I'd probably be scared of them too, but being blind has its advantages, you don't have to look at anything you're scared of," She shivered as she thought about snow and ice, she was so glad she couldn't see them! |
"I didn't know you were going out, he's a lucky guy. Don't worry, by the way, I don't like Chris like that." Chalice said to her friend. Turning to Lizzie she said," I don't think we have met. Hi Lizzie, I'm Chalice. Nice to meet you." |
Kairi grinned, "It's seems like a lot of girls do, I've seen some that think he's nice," she said with a wink. |
"Well, with me its genuine. I'm no homewrecker. I really think Chris is a very nice person and that you two are absolutely perfect for each other." she said to her friend. |
"Thanks, Chalice," Kairi said with a wink, "You truly are a great friend," |
"Thanks, you are too. I know if I ever get a guy, that no matter how much you may or may not like him that you won't do anything to hurt me." Chalice said. She couldn't help it, she pulled her friend into a hug. |
Kairi hugged Chalice back, "I'd never hurt one of my friends, and if i do it's by accident, and it doesn't happen often," she said with a small smile and a wink. |
"I've only had one friend like you, and I don't see her much anymore. You're going to be my new Roxxy." she said. ooc: I gotta go, bye. :bye: :glomp: |
Kairi gave Chalice a small smile, "Thanks, Chalice, you're probably one of the nicest people I've ever met, well...all my bestest friends are the nicest people I've ever met...and technically all my friends are my bestest friends so...*sigh* sorry, I do tend to ramble on a bit," she said with a grin. occ: bye :( |
"You are really nice too. I don't really have lots of friends, its mostly you, Chris, James (I don't know his RP last name), and Liz. I ramble too so don't worry." |
Kairi grinned, "Look at us two, rambling on like an two old ladies at a bingo tournament," |
Lizzie watched Chalice and Kairi hug each other, and smiled. "I'm so glad you and Chris are going out, Kairi" she said friendly. "I don't know him, but if you like him, that's great." Turning to Chalice she said "Hi Chalice. Same to you. Are you a first year or..?" She almost got tears in her eyes from watching the two friends tell each other how much their friendship ment to them. Friends like that was not common, and suddenly she missed Louise. It hurt in her heart that she wasn't able to tell her best friend about where she was. She had sent her mother a letter to post to Louise, so she wouldn't recive it by owl.. But it felt pointless to write to her, since everything in the letter was just lies. "I wish I could return to our school. It's boring here. The lessons are exactly the same as before. Nothing exciting ever happens." She didn't want Louise to ask if she could come and visit. She pushed away the thoughts of Louise, decided to write a letter to her tomorrow and turned to Kairi and Chalice again. |
Piper slowly walked through the portrait hole slowly and she sighed as she sank down onto a couch. She had just gotten out of the hospital wing and she felt, well not all right. She closed her eyes and sighed more. Getting stunned by a dueling dummy, how lame was that?? And was she going to make a habit of professor's carrying her into the hospital wing? At least Professor Dumont hadn't seen.. that was the only good side about this. |
Cale walked into the common room, massaging his pinky finger as he sat down. That visit with Trelawney had been--well, not as bad as he had thought, but not as good as he had hoped either. Meh. Stupid wall breaking his stupid pinky. He noticed that one girl from the hospital wing sitting there was well...Piper wa he name, he thought. He walked over and sat down next to her. "Feeling better? You looked a little out of it in the hospital wing," he said, smiling and making polite conversation. |
iper looked up as Cale the prefect came in, and she smiled a bit weakly at him. He had been in the Hospital wing as well. "I guess I am feeling a bit better." She said with a sigh. " Next time remind me to never take on a dueling dummy again. That thing blasted me clear across the room, and Professor Dumont was watching.." A red flush crept up her cheeks as she said that.. and she realized the not everyone knew about her little crush on the professor. "How is your hand?" She asked him, trying to change the subject. |
Cale, completely oblivious to the blush creeping across Piper's face, shook his head. "Ehh, I'll live. I injure myself due to stupid decisions all the time," he said with a soft smile. "It's Anna I'm worried about...now Trel wants to talk to her," he murmered. Gah. He hoped she wouldn't yell at her to get some sense into her brain. Well, he kind of did, but he didn't want Trel to YELL yell. |
Piper looked at Cale with concern, she had known that he and Anna had broken up, and it seemed to be hard on them both. "Well that is good, I seem to be making a habit of having professor's carrying me around." She said with a slight sigh. "Well, I hope that the Intern will take it easy on her, she has always been nice to me." Piper said with a shrug. "What does she want to talk to her about? Do you know?" She asked curiously. |
Cale shook his head. "Nope...I think she might be talking her into staying, though. Or attempting to." he explained. He didn't admit that if she DID want to talk to Anna about that and it ended up working, he'd jump for joy. Just then, he felt a sharp pain his stomach and a slight nauseous feeling came over him. Oh noes, that stupid potion was starting to make him sick like Trel had warned him. He still blamed Trel for distracting him so much that the bit about taking it with food went in one ear and out the other. "Do you erm...happen to have any food on you at the moment?" he asked as he rubbed his poor stomach. |
Piper nodded sympathetically. "Well I hope that she is able to manage to talk her into staying, for your sake as well as for all the rest of us." She said as she looked up at Cale's face. It was turning an interesting shade of green, and Piper couldn't help but be amazed as it came on so suddenly. "Food?" She repeated as she serached around her in pockets. "Oh here." She said as she handed him a bit of pastie that she had been given. "Hopefully this helps." She said as she pulled out a package of crystallized pineapple, she had meant to give it to Professor Dumont.. but.. "I have this too.." She offered. |
Cale blinked at Piper. "Is she really that bad around everyone?" he asked, wrinkling his brows. "I mean...has she been all mopey and everything around the common room?" he asked. He hadn't seen much of Anna at all since they broke up, and he had a feeling she was very different around him compared to everyone else. "Yeah...I kind of took the potion without eating and I'm getting sick," he explained as he continued to rub his stomach. "So I think maybe if I eat some food I'll be able to get rid of this nauseous feeling. OH! I have to take this too," he said as he remembered the potion in his pocket. Pulling the small vial out of his pocket, he downed the whole thing in a single gulp and took the pastie from her. "Thanks," he told her with a grin. "Erm...no thanks, I don't like crystalized pineapple very much," he added, looking at the bag she offered him. "But thanks anyways!" |

Piper giggled a little bit, "I could tell, you face is turning a spectacular shade of green at the moment." She watched him as he drank the vial and took the pasty from her. "You are welcome, I am sorry I don't have anything else that you might like." She said softly as she put the pineapple back into her pocket. "You are welcome, I'm kinda glad you don't like it, I'm saving it for someone." She admitted. |

"Oh, really? Who? Or do you not want to say?" he asked, rubbing his stomach again as the color continued to drain from his face. |
