Lucas saw someone shout out his name. At last someone I know.

He turned in the direction of the voice and saw Chris there.He went over and extended his hand.

"Hey mate! How are you?"He said to him.

Chris shock Lucas's hand. "I've been...well ok. How have you been, and where the hell have you been?" He asked him.

Chris sat down in the common room exhausted.

Lizzie entered the common room and looked around. At first she couldn't see anyone she knew, then she recognised Chris. Smiling she made her way towards him. Hi Chris, haven't seen you in ages! How are you? she said and sat down next to him.

"Hey Lizzie whats up?" he said smiling

Oh nothing really... what about you? Lizzie answered, still smiling. She hadn't spoken to any boys for a long time, and really missed Ian. But right now she was curious about how it was working out for Chris and Kairi. Had he realised his girlfriend had been away for days? Disappeared..? And did he know she was back? But she hadn't heard anything about them lately, and couldn't be sure they were still together. So she waited for his answer before asking anything more.

'Well im good. Me and Kairi decided it was for the best that we just stayed friends which im happy when she's happy." he smiled "So you been taking any of the finals?'

Lucas smiled at Chris.He hadn't been in touch with his friends for such a long time.All bacause of his leg injury.

"Oh! Mate its a long story.I had a complete bed rest because of my leg injury.Hurt it really bad over the holidays but its okay now.All good as new."He said to Chris, sitting down in front of the fireplace.

Man its good to be back.He thought looking around the common room.

"Oh dude that really sucks." Chris told Lucas.

"Oh did you hear about Jason leaving Hogwarts this year?" He asked, since Jason and Lucas were good freinds he thought he should know about this.

Lucas looked up at Chris. Shellshocked.

"What? He's not coming back but why?"

Jason and Chris were one of his best friends.He was really looking forward to meeting them.

"I actaully don't know, him and Melinda had a lot of fights over the summer. She didn't what to deal with him anymore. Then Jamie left, and after the feast he just left and we I'ven't heard from him since." Chris told Lucas. Who looked wicked shocked at the moment.

"Crap.Just the kind of welcome present I wanted."He said to nobody in particular.

"I must say I didn't predict this at all.Well serves me right for being away for 4 months but can't do anything about it now that he's gone.Well mate I think we'll have to create all the CHAOS by ourselves then."He said to Chris smiling.

Then he looked at all the people in the room.
"Hey, the common room seems full of people.PEOPLE whom I don't seem to know.Think you can give me a brief rundown so that I know atleast who I'm talking to."

"I know this has been like the weirdest year without him." Chris said. "Heck it's just been a weird year." He said under his breath.

Well let's see who's here. That's the other Chris, and Lizzie, Chalice, Demetria and Kairi." He said pointing to each person as he said their name.

Lucas heard Chris telling him the names of everyone around.

"Hmm I see. Yup! DEFINITLY don't know anyone of 'em."He said smiling.

"So tell me what have you been up to this year."He asked Chris.

Chris laughed. "Maybe because they are all first years." He told Lucas.

"What have I been up to?" Chris said. "Umm well mostly getting confused. See me and Melinda finally became a couple. But before Christmas break that she's leaving this year instead of next year. So now this guy named Biff, is trying to set me up with all these different girls." He told Lucas.

Lucas smiled at Chris. Chris had been with Melinda when he was at school.
"Sad story mate. Really sad but that's how life is."He said to Chris.

"Hey tell me who's this Biff bloke."

Demetria looked over from her seat, half alsleep, and saw Lizzie and Chris. She walked over and sat next to them. "Hey Chris, hey Lizzie. Whats up?"
