Lizzie smiled at her friends, they were truly great. "Well actually I'm not very fond of height, you're right Kairi." she smiled a bit. "My knees are still shaking from the lesson, so I don't think heights are something for me..." She thought for a second. "Were you at the lesson, Hayden?"

Kairi smiled, "Everyone's afraid of something, Lizzie, me for one, I'm afraid of snow, it masks all the vibrations so i can't see, it's horrible," she said, shivering at the thought of it.

"Oh" was all Lizzie managed to say when Kairi told her about her fear for snow. She'd never heard of anyone afraid of snow before. But then again, she'd never met anyone as remarkable and extraordinary as Kairi before. She got back on track and said "Well, I guess so. I've never been a kid who climbes trees and stuff. But I guess we feel kind of the same way about that" she told Kairi, and added "You can't see because of the snow, and I can't move because of the height." She looked at Hayden. "So what are you afraid of, Hayden?" she asked curiously.

"I know, what sort of loser is afraid of snow? It's a weird thing to be afraid of, but I guess that's me," Kairi said with a wink and then waited for Hayden's answer.

Lizzie smiled. "It's not weird, you can be happy to be afraid of snow and not height, Kairi. You can always stay inside all winter (boring but safe). I on the other side, I can never play quidditch." She looked down. "I know they only take the very best ones to the teams, and I can't even fly.. So my chance is less than 0 %." She sighed and waited for Hayden to tell them about her fear.

Naomi walked into the common room and threw her bag on the couch and flopped down. She sighed loudly.

In the middle of her conversation with Kairi and Hayden, Lizzie spotted a girl sitting all alone on a couch. "You wanna join us?" she asked friendly and gave the girl a smile.

Naomi looked over to the girl who just said something to her. "Yeah sure." Naomi said and picked up her stuff and walked over. "My name is Naomi." Naomi said with a giggle. "I always find that so funny."

Lizzie made some space for the girl on their couch and looked at her. "Oh no, I think Naomi's a beautiful name. One of my best friends in first grade in my muggleschool was named Naomi." She looked around and turned back to Naomi. "This is Kairi, and over there's Hayden. And I'm Lizzie. Very nice to meet you. Are you a first year or older? We're all first years."

"Oh i love my name. its just the name naomi thing that i always find funny. they sound so alike." Naomi said. "Im a second year. What year are you?"

"Oh just as I said. The three of us are first years. Actually, there are lots of first years. Easy to make lots of friends. she said with a thoughful smile on her face. "Well second year sounds fun. Is there much of a difference from first year?"

"Well no.... If you do your homework on time." Naomi said. "Which I don't" She looked down at the pile of books that started to fall out of her bag.

Chris shook the boys hand as he sent the trunk zooming up the stairs into the dorms. "yeah im one of the potters."

Lizzie nodded and said "I see. Well I'm not the best on doing homework either." She looked around the commonroom, thoughtful and dreamy. All of a sudden she picked up a chocolate wrapped sweet from her pocket and put it in her mouth. With a smile she picked up another one and offered it to her new friend. Quickly she added "I'm eating the chocolate dreamy things again, Kairi. If you want one, just tell me." As she turned back to Naomi, she realised it must have seemed a bit strange to tell Kairi they were eating sweets when she was sitting right in front of them, so she explained. "Kairi's blind, that's why I told her that." she said, and then changed the topic. "Do you like flying? I'm terrible scared of heights, so I paniced at the flying lesson today and Reine had to help me get back on the ground. I was in chock, couldn't move an inch." She shivered at the thought of it, but then smiled again, thinking about how kind Nate had been, teaching her how to stear the broom and everything.

ooc: I'm sorry but I've really gotta go now. My parents would kill me if they knew I am on the internet (or that I'm awake at all) at a quater to three in the morning. I'm soo tired.. Sweet dreams, see you tomorrow<3

"Thank you" Naomi said as Lizzie handed her the chocolate. "I really like to fly. My older sister taught me how to fly. I wanted to be on the Quidditch team but I keep missing the try outs for it."

Chalice walked through the portrait hole and scanned the room for Chris. "Hey, Chris!" she said. "Oh, hi!" Chalice said once she noticed the boy was standing there. "I'm Calice Swan, who are you?"

Hayden had zoned out a bit in the middle of her friends conversations. She was dreaming of a warm bed and a hot cup of Apple Cider. She came back to her reality and mumbled,"Sorry.Zoned out." She didn't know what to say because she didn't know what they were talking about.

"I can help you." she said. "I'll tell all of my friends about the stuff you make. They really are amazing." she smiled at him. Then it came to her. what better way to get Sneeze's inventions known then to tell and show her uncle all of the things Sneeze has made. "Hey Sneeze, how much for that unicorn right there?"

Kairi grinned at Hayden, "Was it a pleasent journey back to earth, Hayden?" she asked, jokingly. "We were just talking about what we were afraid of, I'm afraid of snow and Lizzie's afraid of heights, what about you?"

Hayden luaghed."A bumpy ride back actually." Hayden thought about it. What was she affraid of."Honestly I'm affraid of the dark. You never know whats in it."

Kairi thought about Hayden's fear for a moment, "I have to live in the dark, it's really spooooky," she said, shivering jokingly. "Everyone's afraid of something, and you're right Hayden, the darkness is so...dark..."

Hayden laughed."I think thats the only thing I'm really scared of." Haydne smiled."Whats you favorite class?"

Kairi grinned, "Transfiguration or Charms, although Muggle Studies was rather interesting too, what about you?"
