Students are enrolled in the appropriate grade based on the student's age prior to the first day of attendance (September 1st) as with other wizarding institutions. A student must be 11 years of age before the start of their first-year school term. It is okay if the student is older than their peers since some start school late, have to repeat a year, etc. But Students whose birth year is too young will automatically have it raised a year.

Daciana Esme is a hoarder of small objects and likes being handy with them, often collecting broken or forgotten things and either fixing them or turning them into something entirely new (most often wind chimes or jewelry). Because she has so many interests and projects at once, she is occasionally scattered, so it’s not uncommon for her to start five activities and only finish two or three, or to lose track of time entirely. Coming from her maternal family of pranksters, she has a silly sense of humor but prefers clever pranks over anything cruel or humiliating. Because she has trained in elemental magic since childhood from her dad, Andrei, Dacie learned she identifies strongly with air as an element and loves movement and height. She can spend hours on swings, climbing trees to sit at the very top, doing cartwheels, cycling, or flying whenever she gets the chance. She’s also an only child, which makes her independent and she likes getting people on board with her plans. I think her biggest flaw would be the belief that she should be able to figure things out on her own. Like, her friends and parents can help her out with the execution, but the idea has to be originally hers. Also, her mum Vivi was always hesitant about sending Dacie to Hogwarts due to traumaTM, so Dacie prepared a full Powerpoint-esque presentation (with help from her best friend, Gabriel) to convince Vivi, and it worked.
Dacie’s personality is kind of like a softened blend of her parents. Think Vivi’s extroversion and spontaneity tempered by Andrei’s introversion and structure. From Andrei, who works as a Beast Division Head in the Ministry of Magic, she inherited a deep love for creatures and a strong instinct to protect the vulnerable, especially because she grew up with a rescued English mastiff. She is a creative girlie, and one of her favorite childhood memories is dressing up in costumes with Andrei. On the other hand, from Vivi, she has absorbed far more historical knowledge than she likes to admit due to Vivi’s work as a curse breaker, and she finds “do not touch” signs in museums and displays incredibly tempting. Although she is largely a kinesthetic learner, not wanting to stay still if possible, Dacie’s exception to this is she can sit for long stretches when engaged with puzzles, mystery games, or enchanted mechanisms. She also prefers to be outdoors where she can at least get her hands dirty, both literally and figuratively. Also, because both her parents were former student leaders, she has a general respect for authority and understands the value of rules, but the mischief inherited from the Fairfield side sometimes takes over so she isn’t a blind rule-follower and often prefers getting her own way if authority (unjustly) clashes with her. Her parents are openly emotional and affectionate, especially with Dacie being their only baby, and while she occasionally jokes she’s had enough of it sometimes, she doesn’t truly mind the intensity of her parents’ love for her. At least not yet. Whether that will remain true as she gets older is an open question.
She is multilingual, and speaks English, Spanish, and Romanian, and is interested in learning other magical languages. Music is a constant presence in her life, with Vivi playing piano and guitar and Andrei playing the flute. She has a notable sweet tooth. When your mother loves marshmallows, and your father bakes, it just makes sense.

Her mother is British, her father proudly Southern American, and Baylou entered the world one month early while her parents were visiting her father’s family in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Burnsville, North Carolina. Her early arrival shocked everyone—but in true Baylou fashion, it was perfectly
on brand. Her birth was a joyous celebration. She became the second grandchild and the very first granddaughter on both sides of her family, instantly adored beyond measure. Baylou has an older brother, Macon Earnhardt, born in London and currently a proud Hufflepuff student at Hogwarts. She grew up in a loving, close-knit home where family has always been everything. Ever curious, Baylou writes frequently to both sets of grandparents and to all her cousins on her father’s side, always eager to compare life at Ilvermorny to that of Hogwarts.
Her parents divorced when she was three years old in 2110, though they remain close and committed to their children. River’s next steps? Break into the artifact’s wards using family magic (sorry, Grandma Zuri). Follow the trail of magical distortions that seem to be breadcrumbs left by his father or maybe by something far older. And finally, decipher those cryptic runes before they drive him mad.
Will River unlock the talisman’s secrets and find his father? Or will he accidentally unleash a magical catastrophe that makes Hogwarts’ moving staircases look like child’s play? One thing’s certain: this mystery is just getting started and the talisman isn’t done showing off yet.

Miguel Alejandro Tomás Rosales was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, and is the third child in a lively, close-knit household. His early childhood was shaped by warmth, noise, and constant motion. His father, Daniel Rosales, worked long hours as an electrician, while his mother, Julianna (née Álvarez) Rosales, balanced shifts as a healthcare assistant while keeping the family running smoothly. Storytelling, imagination, and shared moments mattered more than material things.
When Miguel was still young, the Rosales family traded Barcelona's bustle for the sea air and colourful charm of the English coast. Though the move was challenging at first, Miguel adapted quickly. Brighton's pier, street performers, and vibrant arts culture sparked his love for visual storytelling. He became fascinated with how moments could be captured, framed, and remembered, often doodling scenes or jotting down ideas instead of paying attention in class or using a camera he received for his birthday to make home-made skits and movies.

This rage will continues escalating to the point that Raju and Renner make the decision that Vi must attend counselling. Professor Feirgrund writes him a Letter of Recommendation to be seen by a Healer at Mungo’s. Lazlo Curious is assigned to Vi and helps him through the anger with meditation and chi, incorporating his Quidditch interests with certain exercises before helping him with vocalizing his thoughts. This therapy starts during the Easter break and continues throughout the summer, and see Vi eventually open up about his fear of everyone abandoning, much like his parents did to him. During this time, he makes significant strides with his managing is anger, processing his feelings and communicating them. He even begins conditioning his mind to be okay with seeing Diego date Zen; even though he knows it'll break is heart, he's determined to be happy for his best friend. As a result, Vi is more tolerant to Zen and does not ignore her presence; instead, he will acknowledge her words when they are directed to her in a friendly manner but most of the time, he will not initiate conversation.
