Text Cut: Student Ages per School Year
Students are enrolled in the appropriate grade based on the student's age prior to the first day of attendance (September 1st) as with other wizarding institutions. A student must be 11 years of age before the start of their first-year school term. It is okay if the student is older than their peers since some start school late, have to repeat a year, etc. But Students whose birth year is too young will automatically have it raised a year.
Below is the adjusted birthday range per school year and is updated accordingly to the upcoming school term 74:

- Tariq Jamal Kruus was born on 2nd November 2102 to young parents Parveen and Arvo, though it quickly became apparent that his biological father was, in fact, Spencer Muldoon, the result of a short fling that occurred when Parveen and Arvo had briefly broken up
- Despite the fact that Arvo was not the biological father and he and Parveen were not married when TJ was born, they gave TJ Arvo's surname as they intended to marry eventually, and did indeed get married a few years later
- TJ grew up considering Arvo his dad, and Arvo always treated him like his own son and never regretted his birth, so the family was always a happy unit
- As TJ got older, he had more contact with his biological father and sees him regularly, sometimes staying for weekends, as it was agreed early on that Spencer would not try to get any official custody arrangement, and certainly not to try for full custody; they get along well, but Spencer was always seen as more of a fun, slightly hapless uncle

Out of her family of five, Xelene is the most docile compared to the different types of chaotic personalities. She is gentle and whimsy. Soft and nurturing environments help her thrive. Just like her family, though, she is the product of generational wealth and shares their preference for the lavish life and luxury. Xelene Paloma is the youngest and the baby of the Baltazar-Dos Santos family. After her mother experienced a rough pregnancy, there were doubts of a safe birth. Thank the lucky stars (and her father), Xelene was born a healthy baby girl with silver peach fuzz on her head. There are rumors her father called upon advanced magic in order to help his wife and baby. Everyone who knows Seth Dos Santos knows he’d do anything and everything for his family, so there is no doubt he did something. What that was, only he and his wife know.
As the years passed and Xelene grew, her silvery hair turned dark chocolate brown and all that remained from that miraculous night was her crystal baby blue eyes. Due to the amount of attention they drew, Seth created a charmed bracelet for her to ward off the evil eye. Seth wanted to keep her away from the paparazzi life. Peyton wanted to show off her precious little bean. They came to terms that Xelene will decide once she becomes a teenager.
The youngest Dos Santos didn’t care about attention or popularity. She cared most about her mooncalves and goats and horses. She would rather be outside, living with the butterflies than smiling at strangers with their cameras.
A lot of that barn life was cut short due to her studies. Whereas her mum pushed for her to better her quidditch skills, her father pushed for academics and languages. Xelene didn’t complain in front of them, but she did ditch her tutors and hide with the mooncalves until she was found by either her parents or a house elf. She didn’t want to disappoint them, but she aches for freedom to do what she wants and not be a cookie-cutout of a perfect daughter.

Background:
August has been in care for basically his entire life. As a toddler he was left outside a small orphanage tucked away in the rolling hills of the countryside. He has no memories of his parents or the life they had before and so was left to navigate his new world on his own. August found it difficult to bond with the other children in the orphanage as they were a few years older than he was and they were not fans of a toddler. So, despite the challenges he faced being bullied by them, he possessed an insatiable curiosity and a fierce independence that propelled him forward.
Growing up, he found solace in the natural world and could spend hours exploring the outdoors including the lush forests and winding rivers in the surrounding areas. He developed a deep curiosity for the animals and plants that thrive in the countryside. However, the staff at the orphanage did not encourage this behaviour and would only accompany him for 30 minutes a day.
When August showed signs of magic after just a few years living at the orphanage, he was moved between wizarding foster families until a suitable placement could be procured at Stemp House. August is a storyteller and tells intricate tales inspired by the wonders of the world around him about his childhood so it can never really be known if he is telling the truth.

Iris is a mature young witch who works hard to achieve her goals like getting good grades in classes which sometimes can turn into an obsession if she isn't careful. Iris doesn't shy away from venturing out of her comfort zone or trying something new like going on an adventure to check out a part of the school she hasn't visited. In friendships she is caring, considerate, a good listener, supportive, and an easy converser who brim with things to say. Background: Iris grew up in a house in Dundee, Scotland with her parents and 4 siblings and they still live there. The Forsfelle's are rich. They have a little house for jarveys in the backyard of the house. Iris has a love/hate relationship with the jarveys the family houses since they often don’t say nice things to her, and can be a bit messy when they eat their prey. Her family is very fond of wizarding sports such as quidditch and gobstones. Her father played professional quidditch for the Pride of Portree and then became the team’s healer. Tallulah comes from a pureblood family. Although they aren't pureblood elitists, they place a lot of importance on magical ability. When Tallulah failed to show very early signs of magic (despite the fact that magic doesn't always appear instantly or even for a few years, necessarily) her parents became uneasy. They did not want a squib for a daughter (and Tallulah would probably indeed later appear to be 'almost a squib' [...]).
When Tallulah's parents had another child, and when it seemed this second child did show early signs of obvious magical ability, they turned cold towards Tallulah who was still very young. Soon after, they gave up custody of her. To wizarding social services they made no attempt to hide their reasoning, and stated they did not want a squib as a child, and advised they find Tallulah a muggle family. It was decided, however, that Tallulah would be found a place in the wizarding world until they could be certain about her magical ability. She went to Stemp House.
Tallulah has no contact with her biological family.
