Vianna smiled faintly and nodded her head. "Sounds good," she said just as the elevator came to a halt and the doors opened to allow the two teenagers outside. The young girl beamed to herself as she hurriedly headed out, dragging Ferris along with her; she just wanted to extend the reservation and get all that stuff done already so she could go visit her beloved pet already. |
Ferris couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as the girl dragged him along behind her as they elevator doors opened. He could tell she wanted to see Fluffy already. So he went up to the front desk without hesitation, not wanting to make her wait any longer, and spoke to the front desk clerk in his fluent French tongue. After a few exchanges in French, Ferris smiled politely and thanked the man before heading out of the hotel with Vianna. "Alright, we're set for another night." |
"Yay!" Vianna cheered, clapping her small hands excitedly like a child receiving a new toy. She grinned as they headed out of the hotel, glancing around curiously as she often did. She then turned to Ferris and bombarded the boy with questions, "Is the vet's place far? How long will it take us to get there? Did he say how long we can stay?" |
The boy looked over at his girlfriend as she seemed to nearly bounce as she walked, obviously excited to see her pet squirrel. His brown eyes were just turning towards the road when she started to smother him with questions, "Whoa, calm down Vi," Ferris told the girl with a smile, amusement on his features. "The vet's place is just on the next block. It should take us about five minutes if we walk fast, and he didn't mention how long we could stay. But I've never seen anyone successfully take you away from that squirrel when you had something to do with it, so....You can probably stay as long as you want." He let out a teasing smile and a soft laugh. |
Vianna beamed as Ferris announced that they wouldn't have to walk far as the vet was just on the next block. She then laughed lightly along with him as he teased her about the time she would get to spend with her squirrel, amused by how correct the boy's response was. "Hey, I bet if your future pet tiger had to be away at a vet's office for days, you'd be just as anxious!" she said in her defense, flashing the boy a smile before returning her gaze to the road and the people passing by in the crowded streets. |
Ferris grinned down at her as she mentioned that he would probably be just as anxious if it was his pet tiger at the vet's office. "I'm sure you're right," he agreed with a small nod, walking side by side with the girl as they neared the end of the street. "But, I'm anxious to see Fluffy too," he told her with a small smile, rounding the corner and starting to go down the street of the vet's office. |
Vianna ripped her gaze away from the crowds passing by to look at the boy beside her with wide eyes and raised eyebrows. "You're anxious to see Fluffy too?!" she gasped dramatically, her jaw hanging. Ferris was definitely not nearly half as bad with Fluffy as her brother was, but it still caught her by surprise he'd be excited to see the squirrel. "Aw, Professor!" she said, a smile spreading across her face. "I didn't know you secretly loved my squirrel!" she teased the boy with a giggle. |
"I don't secretly love him!" he denied with a hint of stubborness in his voice, but slight amusement on his face as he looked away from the girl. He gently shoved her with his shoulder as they walked, "He's just...Very important to you, so..he's kind of, sort of...just slightly....important to me," he modified with an approving nod. But it was just then that he realized they were nearing the vet's office, and he opened the door for her, "Here we are, Vi." |
Vianna could only laugh louder as Ferris immediately denied her accusation of him loving her pet squirrel. She giggled lightly to herself as she listened to him explain that he just happened to consider the squirrel slightly important because the squirrel itself meant so much to her. The young girl beamed at the boy beside her. "You're adorable, Professor," she said, shaking her head slightly as if this was something negative he needed to work on. But they then came to a halt as they arrived to the veterinarian's place. Vianna beamed once again as she walked through the door, beyond thrilled to see her precious squirrel once again. |
Ferris's eyebrows rose as she told him he was adorable as he held the door for her, referring to his many comments based on her squirrel. "Stop being delusional and go see your squirrel," he responded, though his brown eyes seemed flattered and there was amusement on his face. As they entered the shop, the boy walked up to the front desk to speak with the receptionist in fluent French, asking for a squirrel named Fluffy. She led them back into a room where they saw the veterinarian, and he shook his hand with a polite smile. They spoke for a moment before the vet disappeared into a back room, and Ferris turned to Vianna, "He went to get Fluffy." |
Vianna giggled in amusement at Ferris's response before coming to a halt beside the boy by the receptionist, her eyes roaming over the many posters of cute little furry creatures on the walls. She then followed Ferris and the receptionist to the vet's office, listening but not understanding as he and Ferris exchanged words. As the vet disappeared, Vianna's brows furrowed slightly in confusion but a smile lit up her face as Ferris explained that the man had just left to get Fluffy. ooc: Do you want me to take over the vet or..? :erm: |
OOC: You can go ahead and take Dr. Frenchguy if you would like.... (I totally just named him that...impressed?) Ferris let out a light laugh at Vianna's excited expression before turning back to the door as the veterinarian returned with a small furball in his hands. The boy watched this newcomer hesitantly, as if it could explode or something. |
ooc: :rotfl:! That's so gonna be his name from now on. Vianna's crystal blue eyes widened with a mix of excitement, anxiety, and worry for the little furball in Dr. Frenchguy's hands. The older man handed the little squirrel to Vianna's expectant hands before turning to Ferris and warning them to not let Fluffy run around too much, as the squirrel had turned out to be much more hyperactive than he had expected and he could easily end up injuring himself in the state he was in. Vianna beamed at the squirrel in her hands, bringing it up close to her face and rubbing her cheek to the side of his small face the way a cat normally would to its beloved owner. "What happened?" she asked, turning away from the squirrel and to the boy beside her as the veterinarian finished talking. |
OOC: :mwaha: I feel pretty creative.... :xd: Ferris watched as Vianna and Fluffy reunited, amusement in his eyes but also a little happiness that his favorite person was back with her beloved pet. He was distracted from this though as Dr. Frenchguy spoke to him, mentioning that they couldn't let the small hyperactive squirrel run around too much as it wasn't very good for his current state. He gave a polite nod before turning to Vianna as she asked what words were being exchanged, "He just told me that Fluffy can't run around too much, it's not good for him right now, he could injure himself." Ferris turned back to the vet, "Comment at-il été? N'at-il rien mangé, fait-il bien?" asking how Fluffy had been, if he had eaten anything, and if he was doing alright. |
ooc: Look who's an artist now! :P "Ooh, alright," muttered Vianna with a nod as Ferris translated Dr. Frenchguy's warning to her. She then returned her attention to the squirrel curling up in her hands as it often did, enjoying the warmth that came from them. It seemed that even if Dr. Frenchguy saw the squirrel as hyperactive, Fluffy was actually much lazier than he usually was. The vet watched the girl and her squirrel for a brief second before turning back to Ferris as the boy addressed him, asking how Fluffy had been and if he had been alright. The veterinarian smiled and nodded his head full of gray hair, telling him that Fluffy had been an excellent patient and would recover quickly with the way he ate; he added that the squirrel had not only eaten his own meal, but had gone as far as stealing other pets' food. |
OOC: :shifty: I should just start making up super creative names for things. Call myself an artist and BAM. Celebrity-status. Ferris listened as Dr. Frenchguy replied, mentioning that Fluffy would surely recover quickly and that he had eaten well. The boy let out a hearty laugh as the man added that the pesky squirrel had even gone so far as to steal other pets' food. He turned to look at Vianna with pure amusement in his eyes, "Your little squirrel ate quite a bit. He ate all of his own food, not to mention the other pets' foods." He looked down to the furball in her hands, smiling slightly before returning his brown eyes to Vianna. |
ooc: :lmao: & I can't wait for that so I can run down the streets screaming "I know a celebrity, I know a celebrity and you don't! :mwaha:" And then since you'll be so rich, you'll lend me a million dollars. Vianna turned away from Fluffy to Ferris as he shared with her that her pet had eaten well and had stolen the other pets' foods. The young girl's eyes widened slightly and her jaw dropped at this, though the mildly shocked expression soon turned to one of amusement as she returned her gaze to her greedy little squirrel. "Fluffy, you're such a troublemaker!" she accused the squirrel who merely stared at her blankly, most likely wondering if they had brought him any marshmallows. She smiled at him for a moment before turning to Ferris once again. "Are we allowed to take him out at all?" she asked, highly doubting they would be allowed to do so, but wanting to make sure anyway. She felt an urge to just run off with the squirrel in her hands; it was going to be difficult letting Fluffy go now that she was finally reunited with him. |
Ferris smiled at Vianna's reaction, amused by her and the squirrel, before turning his eyes back to Mr. Frenchguy as she asked if they could take Fluffy out at all. "Pouvons-nous le sortir du tout?" he asked politely, his brown eyes curious as he himself was hoping that they might be able to take Fluffy out for some marshmallows...Maybe some crepes too while they were at it. He gently stroked the squirrel's brown fur absentmindedly as he looked to the vet for an answer. OOC: :rotfl: Alright, sounds great! |
ooc: :D Dr. Frenchguy gave the two teenagers an apologetic smile and shook his head, telling them that it was just too risky for Fluffy to be out and about right now; that they should be patient and just wait another day and then they can have the squirrel back for good. Vianna watched him curiously, disappointment taking over her features as she saw the man shake his head, she figured this must have meant the answer had been no. |
Ferris gave an understanding nod to the vet, knowing that he was only doing his job, but also aware that this would disappoint Vianna a bit. He thanked the man before turning to the girl at his side, "He says that it's too risky, and that we should just be patient for another day so we can have him back for good." He gave her an encouraging smile before taking a better look at Fluffy, stroking his fur for a moment before gently lifting him up just slightly to reveal a long scar down his belly. The boy gave a soft grimace. |
Dr. Frenchguy gave the two teenagers one last polite smile before heading out of the office, letting them have their privacy with the furry squirrel. Vianna watched as Ferris lifted the squirrel and, just as he did, grimaced. "My poor Fluffy..." she sighed, now proceeding to take a seat on one of the chairs by the vet's desk. She then began searching her pockets and pulled out a blue marshmallow; it took Fluffy about half a second to snatch it from her hands and devour it. He had been marshmallow-deprived for the last two days, after all. |
Ferris watched with only half his normal amusement as Fluffy snatched the marshmallow from Vianna, feeling rather horrible for the poor animal. He took a seat next to Vianna, watching the squirrel with grim curiosity as it devoured the blue marshmallow. He then turned his eyes to the girl, "At least there's no key in him, right?" he said with a soft smile, hoping to make her feel a bit better about all of this. |
Vianna watched Fluffy curiously before turning to Ferris and returning the boy's smile weakly. "Yeah, you're right," she said with a slight nod. "I'd rather this than..." she trailed off, not really wanting to even mention or think about the idea of her beloved squirrel's life coming to an end. Just thinking about it sent a shiver down her spine. Her smile then suddenly widened as she began thinking about the future a day ahead. "I can't wait until I can take him with me, though! I bet he missed his roasted marshmallows, climbing trees, and most importantly... his bed," she finished with a teasing smile, obviously referring to Ferris's curly hair as Fluffy's bed. |
Ferris gave her a weak, encouraging smile as the girl mentioned that she preferred this to something that neither of them wanted to say aloud. But the conversation took a lighter turn as she looked forward to the next day when she could take Fluffy back with her, mentioning that he probably missed his marshmallows and tree climbing and...his bed. Ferris gave her an amused smile, "Yeah, well, the little guy can have a nap when we get him back officially," he muttered, giving in just slightly to the happy girl next to him. His hand found hers, intwining their fingers gently as he looked toward Fluffy. |
Vianna beamed as Ferris let her know that Fluffy could take a nap on his hair when they officially get him back the following day. She looked at the boy admiringly for a moment before leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks, I'm sure Fluffy will appreciate that," she told him with a smile before returning her gaze to the squirrel that was now standing on her lap, looking up at them with curious eyes. |
