This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

"Er, right. Let's get going." Quill said, jumping to his feet and grabbing his stuff. "Herbology." He said shuddering.

Alice looked up as the bell rang. She placed her book back into her bag, trying to go at human speed. She then realised the lesson she had next and smiled. "Have you lot of care of magical creatures with the slytherins next?" She asked, hopeful that they did.

Embry smiled, punching Quil playfully. "Shut up. I can't help it," he said. "I'm going to the library. Study hall for me," he sighed. "Meet up in the Great Hall later?" he asked him.

Bella nodded, sliding out of her seat as she grabbed her bag. 'I think so. What do we have next?' she asked, unsure of her own timetable. She wasn't really that bothered, but the teacher was still in hearing distance and she didn't want to seem like she didn't care at all.

"Potions," Edward said with confidence. Then he added, "I think," to be a little bit more human. He took Bella's hand and headed to the dungeons, but slowly. "Don't worry. I think we have free period next, after lunch," he whispered to her with a crooked smile.

"Oh, there is," Embry said. "I'm either sitting with you or with the Slytherins. I don't think I can stand being alone again." he laughed. He stopped at the library. "Well, this is my turn off. See you later."

Following him out of the Great Hall and down to where their Potions class was, she sighed. She really didn't like the dungeons at Hogwarts. Reaching the classroom, she glided in, eyes roaming the class room for a good spot to sit in. Deciding to sit a few rows from the front, she choose her seat and gestured Jasper to join her.

Jasper laughed and said did a 'Yey' motion with is hands.
"Well, I am pretty cool." He winked.
They both walked into the classroom. It was dark, obviously. It was the dungeons. But Jasper didn't mind that at all.
He followed Rosalie at sat next to her as she jestured to him.

Seeing no need of making introductions since they introduced herself, Hermione smiled. Why did Alice Cullen and Lelouch look like they could be related? She thought to herself. Pale skin. Dark eyes...well maybe not related but they do have some of the same features. The Gryffindor said to herself while looking over the both of them.

Hermione jumped slightly as the bell went off. Where was her teacher? Maybe something had happened. Walking over to the teachers desk, she left her paper there for her professor. Going back and gathering her things, she pulled out her schedule. "Yep." She said in response. "With the Slytherins..." She sighed and waited for Ron and Harry to leave.

Alice smiled as she found out Hermione was in her next lesson. That was good, she was with Jasper and someone in her house. "Ahh good. You'll be able to meet my boyfriend" She informed as she stood up. "So where do you go for this lesson?"

Bella sighed. 'Potions? Oh, brilliant. Just what we need,' she rolled her eyes as Edward took her hand as they made their way to the dungeons. 'Free period? That's promising. So long as we don't have a weird lesson - or, rather, another one.' She shuddered, finding the lessons they were being given weird and impractical. As she turned to look at Edward, she couldn't help but smile back as she caught sight of the crooked smile he gave her.

Bella raised an eyebrow. 'I believe you said that to me about Biology back at Forks High, the day they did blood typing, didn't you?' she asked him suspiciously as they stopped. 'But I think they'll notice a little more if we skip, as we have to stay on the grounds. Tempting as the offer is, I'll have to decline.' She smirked and pushed the door open, leading Edward inside, keeping a firm grip on his hand.

"Edward!" Rosalie exclaimed as Edward and Bella came into the Potions classroom. "Potions?" She asked them, glad that there were more of their kind in the class. Now Japser and her would have someone to talk to. Although she knew they might raise some controversy with them being in Gryffindor and her and her brother being in Slytherin.

"OK," Edward shrugged. "I was thinking somewhere along the lines of the Room of Requirement, and yes, I did say that," he said, sitting in the main back. "But it's too late now. " He got out his cauldron and the book that he needed from his bag, and the wand that they gave him just incase. This teacher was as unpredictable as they come and could change his mind in the blink of an eye, so better be prepared for anything.

"Hello, guys!" Edward smiled comfortingly. "How is the life of Slytherins?" he asked, motioning to an open seat in front of Bella and himself.

He leaned over to Rosalie and whispered "Doe we have to be mean to them? As we are in Slytherin?" Bit of a dumb question really. Surely they didn't have to be mean because they were in Slytherin.

Alice pulled out her transfiguration essay from the textbook, hardly sure whether she wanted to hand it in. She really had no idea what it was about or what she had written. She looked at the other pale person that was seated by Hermione. He was slightly worrying her.

Leaning in to listen to Jasper's whispers, she sat up straight and said haughtily. "No. They are our family. It doesn't matter. Forget the house rivalry thing. We're not going to take part of it." She said stubbornly. Who were they to tell them to not talk to their family? Who did that stupid old hat think it was, seperating them in the first place!

Quill laughed, "I know. Well I'll see you at lunch, Embry!" He called to his friend, jogging off to the greenhouses, feeling the the urge to just run and morph into his wolf form.

Carly Jones reached the edge of the lake and slid down to sit on the ground. She was skipping History of Magic but really, who cared? Certainly not Carly. Reaching into her bag she grabbed her sketchpad and a pencil. Sighing and closing her eyes Carly felt a chilly breeze across her cheek. She secreltly loved the feel of the outdoors. Everything about it amazed her. And Carly loved sketching it even more.

"Bye," Embry said sadly, throwing his things on an open table and looknig outside, his gaze clouded by something he was thinking. He thought about running through the wouds, in his wolf form. He smiled.

"Well, we all know why we're here." Rosalie said quickly and quietly, knowing only they could hear her and the other students that were filing in couldn't. "We have to defeat some stupid lord or something." She said wrinkling her nose at the situation.

"If we can't skip this class, we can't skip this year," Edward smiled at Bella. "And Voldemort is really evil. If he gets into the United States, it wouldn't last. He'd get a lot of followers and..." he stopped. "It's best we are here," he added.

Bella glared at Edward, her eyes narrowed. 'That's not really fair, Edward!' she complained. 'I know this Voldemort person is evil, but still. Why are we the ones who have to defeat him, or whatever? Or help defeat him?' she asked. At Rosalie's face, she smirked, trying to hide laughter.

"Do you want to live in a country--no, a world--where someone destroys you and your family?" Edward asked, his voice rough. "He kills non-magical people, which technically includes you, Bella." he explained, his liquid topaz eyes gentle. "That's why we have to defeat them."
