This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

Watching Jacob's painful reaction, he waited, not wanting to let on that he could plainly see his mate's weakness. 'Just...' Seth's mind scrambled furiously for something to say, 'I don't know. Look at this place, there's dozens of girls of here.' He looked at Jacob, his message clear in his eyes.

Maybe you'll find a girl who actually deserves you, Seth thought, although not murmuring it aloud. Any negative comment about Bella, and Jacob always raised his hackles defensively.

Harry did his best to read the note he recieved without Lelouch noticing, and Harry thought he was succesfull.

But actually Lelouch kinda got the impression he was atleasy suspecting something about him and the other new students but decided to play as if he didn't notice any of it.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself down and passing his left hand trough his messy dark hair, Jacob listened as intently as he could, to Seth's words. His friend's words caught him off guard; Moved on? What the hell was that supposed to mean? How could he possibly move on, if she was all over the place... If she was--everything "I--I don't think that's possible, Seth" Jacob stammered, staring at a moving a painting that was on a wall, behind Seth.

This was definitely not the place or the moment to talk about her. Actually, no moment was perfect to talk about that, and Jacob was sure of that. Isabella Swan was a forbidden topic, and everyone was very aware of that.

"Dozens of girls?" Jacob said a snort. Like he'd care about the rest of the girls! The other girls around the school, or from any other place for that matter, didn't matter to him. He couldn't even tell if they were pretty or not; He was biased. "Really Seth, I would never see anyone but Bella" He answered, trying to sound harsh, but failing rather miserably.

Edward smiled crookedly at her, letting a piece of his bronze hair fall in his face. "Yes," he replied, "there are plenty of things I can't do. But none at the moment that I want to discuss," he added with another grin. He frowned, looking at the bubbling cauldron. "Eye of newt," he said, indicating what else to put in it.

Hermione smiled and clapped her hands. "Good job!!" She complimented, happy that Alice had gotten the spell to work for her. "I know this seems a little rude for me to ask but where did you and your family come from?" Hermione asked, curiousity getting the better of her.

"Oh. America." Hermione repeated to herself. I need to talk to Remus soon. I still don't understand why them, of all people would be chosen to help us. What was Remus thinking? Unless...they have some unknown power that we don't know about. She thought to herself. "I-I just never seen so many transfers here at all once." She said, hoping this answer was sufficient enough to cover Alice's question.

Alice smiled, suddenly remembering something she had seen in a vision a couple of years ago. "Didn't you hold the triwizard tournament here a couple of years ago? So i suppose you get the general idea of other wizarding schools," She commented as she looked around the room, anxious for the lesson do finish. "How long is there left?"

Bella looked at him curiously as she picked up the eye of newt. 'Why don't you want to discuss them?' she asked as she dropped it into the cauldron before brushing the hair that had just fallen out of his face. 'It's not something I'd hate, is it?' she asked, her grin matching the one he'd just had.

Ron dropped the last ingredient into his cauldron and grinned he was rather shocked it had turned out how it was supose to Well at least was the right color. he bottledsome into a vial and labeled it.

"Of course not," Edward replied with a small smile. "It's got everything to do with you. But, if I've survived this long with you, I suppose I can survive...that." Rosalie sighed as she stirred the remains of her potion in the cauldron. Her's had turned out to be a murky brown color. Wondering if she had done the potion right at all, she scooped up a sample and bottled it up. "Does your's look like this?" She asked, leaning forward to check Edward's potion.

"I see," Alice nodded as she packed away her textbook. She had seen what happened at the end of the tournament in a vision. But knew better than to ask about it. "So what things do you do in care of magical creatures?" She asked really not having a clue what might happen.

ooc: I really want the battle to happen soon, so when one of the Cullens ask Alice when the battle will be, could she predict that'll happen in a few days?

Hermione stood up and retrieved her bag under her desk and she pondered what she could say to Remus. "Oh." She said realizing Alice had asked her a question. "We just learn about different creatures that exist in the wizarding world and how to take care of them." She said to her, although she thought the name of the class would have been self-explainatory. Another thing to ask Remus. Why do they seem like they have no knowledge of the wizarding world at all?

Hearing the bell ring, she flashed a meaningful glance to Harry and Ron. "I'll see you next class?" She said, turning to Alice and waving a good bye.

"Ok good." Rosalie said satisfied. Maybe she wouldn't fail Potions. Placing the bottle on her professors desk and hearing the bell that signalled the end of class, she sighed. "I have a free block next." She said to them. "Anyone else?" She asked, hoping someone didn't have class so she wouldn't be alone.

Alice nodded, it sounded rather interesting, if she knew what a magical creature was. "Okay," She picked up her bag of the desk as the bell rang. Time to find Jasper she thought happily as she waved at Hermione. She left the class and wandered down towards the dungeons. As she got towards the potions classroom, she saw that they hadnt came out and leant against the wall waiting for them to come out.

Quil made his way from the greenhouses to the Great Hall. Ahh lunch. Good ol' lunch. He walked right over to the Slytherin table, placed his books down and waited for Embry. Quil patted his stomach and started to load up his plate. He was starving.

Embry rushed out of the door as quick as lightening. He soon made it to the Great Hall, sitting down beside Quil with a thump. He grinned. "How was Herbology, man?" he asked with a grin.

Edward smiled as the bell rang. He quickly capped some of Bella's potion and gave it to the professor with a smile, taking Bella's hand and their stuff and walked out."Oh, hello, Alice," he said, grinning to his sister. "How has your day been?" he asked. Then he thought of something. Something that he had been avoiding to think. "Have you figured what day it is?" he whispered to her, his topaz eyes gleaming at her with interest.

Rosalie left the potions class to find Edward, Bella and Alice standing outside in the dungeons. "Hey Alice." She greeted with a small smile. Hearing Edward's soft spoken question, she raised an eyebrow towards her sister, wondering if her talent had given her any useful information. "Is it soon?" She asked in wonder, hoping that the battle was soon.

Serena jumped slightly when the bell rang, ending class. Watching the rest of the class file out, she desperately threw the rest of her ingredients into the potion and watched as it turned a dark brown color. Hoping for the best, she bottled it up and placed it on the professor's desk. "Are you coming Draco?" She asked as she quickly retrieved her bags underneath the desk. "We've got lunch and than Care of Magical Creatures with the Gryffindors." She said hurriedly.

Hermione sighed as she waited for Harry and Ron to come out of class. Where were they? She tapped her foot on the stone floor impatiently. She wanted their input on how to write a secretive letter to Remus that demanded for answers about these people he recruited to help them.

Alice looked up where she heard the class begin to move, at last. She smiled at Bella as she nodded at Edwards question. Pushing herself up from the wall, she grabbed Rosalie's hand and pulled her over to a quieter area of the dungeons motioning for the others to come soon. "It's in the next couple of days." She began speaking rather fast and quiet. "I dont know about you but I dont think I'll be ready. It took me all lesson to be able to use the wand"
